Ohhh my god my heart. Parrot not being able to return to the overworld, jumping into the end portal over and over again, not wanting to accept that he can never go back. Parrot, who was chased across the world countless times over and fought his hardest again and again just to be able to have the chance to live in that world, losing it so easily. Parrot, named for a bird living in one of the greenest and most vibrant places in that world, a place full of life of every kind and countless colors—now stuck in the end, a drab, nearly lifeless place with only purple, cream, and black in the same patterns for as far as the eye can see. All for one last hope of community, of the life he’s been fighting for. Him not immediately telling anyone and commissioning a garden to be built, in grief of the incomprehensible thing he’s just lost, trying to keep the people he loves happy and safe because they’re all he has left.
