thought seeing hadestown again would quench my thirst but instead it just made me want to go to NYC again to see the Broadway production once more lmao
#I am a reeve carn*y liker (it's okay you can throw your tomatoes at me) BUT#the orpheus on tour was REALLY REALLY GOOD#the downside is that the eurydice on tour isn’t merely up against eva fuckin'noblezada#it's that she was genuinely flat for most of the performance and kept coming in so late it threw off the music#also jewelle was a fabulous persephone and the tour one only had a meh voice and none of jewelle's stage presence#honestly the worst part was that the understudy hermes on broadway was better than the actual hermes on tour...#that man kept going brassy and stylistic and you could understand 1/3 of what he said#the hades though???? the touring hades???? maybe he was so good bc the rest of the cast was ehhh but I seriously think he was GOOOOD#he had gr8 stage presence#anyways i didn’t cry once at the touring production. and i wept the entire first act in new york lol#ughhhhh I need to save for all my travels this summer i cannot go to new york to see a show I already went to new york to see.#......or can I#anyways just want to see eva and reeve and jewelle again :(((((#also seeing lilias as hermes would be cool#UGHHHHHHHHH STOP SELF
