2024 RWBY WRITING RECAP

I wrote 3 RWBY fics this year. That’s not a lot, but it was fun to ease myself back into it, after not writing for this fandom since 2021. 🤷‍♀️

1) Family Dinner

Winter/Penny. 1,096 words.

Summary: Penny invites Winter to join her and her father for a 'family dinner.' Winter isn't quite sure when she became a part of the 'family' - or even what that word really means.

2) Coffee Is For Closers

Oscar/Whitley. 2,614 words.

Summary: Whitley's corporate job has been keeping him busy, and at this point, he's running on caffeine and fumes. His friendly neighborhood barista, Oscar, tries to warn him to take a break. But, Whitley doesn't want to hear it. He resents the coffeemaker for not minding his own business...until a medical emergency forces him to reevaluate his priorities.

3) Like A Bullet Through A Flock Of Doves

Qrow/Winter. 1,790 words.

Summary: Winter has been an undercover agent, posing as a member of the Mob, for over two years now. But she's still shocked, when the leader of the local Mob puts out a hit on her own brother, Qrow Branwen.

She knows that Qrow has to leave town fast, if he wants to avoid sleeping with the fishes. But what she didn't expect, was how much she would hate to see him go.
