It’s very much a messy wip at this point but yes I think a lot about how Jane got to be kind of cool in D3 and fandom doesn’t do a lot with her and it makes me sad because I feel like there’s definitely a story there about Jane figuring out how to kind of come into her own and figure out how to exist not in her mother’s shadow and also for a lot of teenagers a first relationship is a really formative thing and I think it would be good for all of them (all 4 of the gay athletes club) to figure out this complicated messy thing that exists between them AND ALSO part of the reason they are a pretty functional relationship in this fic is because I also briefly had a sub-plot in mind where Evie and Mal are being a Hot Mess and not communicating at all and the Gay Athletes Club are just.....looking at them and choosing not to intervene because they’re enjoying being the functional ones for once and you did not ask for more of this lmao but I’m writing more of this plot synopsis to avoid working on my other wip!! So here we are!!
