dressing room - chris sturniolo
Tumblr media Tumblr media
a/n : this might suck ?? idk 🌚 anyways for those of you who did my poll you will be getting your smut soon 👅also we’re almost to 200!! woohoo 🤗
+ readers name in this story is LIA, i don’t use y/n 😭
warnings - switch!chris x sub!reader, fingering, oral, pet names (baby, ma, good girl, mama), p in v, unprotected sex, public, slight choking and degrading, praising, caught? little bit of fluff at the end
summary : reader is out dress shopping with her friend, but in the process, chris walks into the wrong dressing room
————————————————————————-
‘ baby tell me that you want it deeper ‘
“ come on!! “ my friend yelled, dragging me into the store she insisted taking me to
i rolled my eyes and followed behind her, i hated going out and shopping. i could’ve just ordered online.
the store was almost empty with only about 4 other people in it, not including me and my friend, aaliyah
her and her boyfriend were going out to prom and i decided to not go because i didn’t have a date
she eyed around the store before spotting a shimmery forest green dress “oooh what about this one?”
“ i like it “ i shrugged and smiled nonchalantly, “it matches your eyes” i complimented and she giggled before hanging the dress over her arm along with 2 other dresses she had spotted
she wandered around the store for a few more minutes, me dragging behind
“ hey do you like this one?” aaliyah turned around to see me staring off
“ lia? are you good?” i shook my head once i realized i was in a trance
“ okay…y’know, you should come to prom with me and jason. “ aaliyah smirked at me with a shit eating grin
“ fuck no.” i immediately responded, was she crazy? i didn’t even have a date.
“oh come on-it would be fun!” she began “chris is gonna be thereee” she teased dragging out the word
i playfully punched her shoulder “aaliyah! someone from school could be here!”
she giggled and led me to a section of darker colored
dresses
“look at how pretty these are! come on, lia. these would all look so pretty on you.”
“ aaliyah, you know i love you. but im not third wheeling the entire night of prom, that’s just embarrassing. i’d rather not go at all.”
“could you at least try on some dresses?” she looked at me with puppy eyes
i thought about how happy it would make her, since im not going, what’s the harm in trying on a few dresses.
i rolled my eyes, “fine” i sighed as she grabbed my hand and started grabbing dresses from the racks
“but this place is getting busy, we need to hurry up”
there were people flooding in out of nowhere, the store swarming with all different kinds of girls and their boyfriends
“excuse me! hi, we need a dressing room please.” aaliyah spoke to an employee with my arm still in her grip.
the employee led us over and gave us a key, then walking away without saying a word
dickhead.
“okay! so-“ aaliyah was cut off by the ping of her phone
“shit ..lia jason texted me saying it was an emergency. are you gonna be okay if i go for a second?”
i nodded “just text me” she blew an air kiss and swiftly walked out of the store
“well.” i mumbled to myself before walking into the changing room, setting the dresses down and getting undressed
im on my last two dresses after about 30 minutes, and aaliyah still isn’t back. at least i took pictures.
i was in the process of taking off my current dress when i heard a knock on the door
assuming it was aaliyah, i quickly finished taking off my dress leaving me in my bra and calvin klein boxers
when i opened the door, my heart stopped. theres no fucking way.
it was chris. chris fucking sturniolo, the same chris i’ve had a crush on since freshman year was standing infront of me while im half naked.
he looked up from his phone and his eyes widened, “oh shit! im so fucking sorry” he apologized covering his eyes with his hand and looking down
i had closed the door, covering my body peeking out just my head
“i- um…chris?” i furrowed my brows trying to hide the embarrassment creeping up on my face
his face was pink and he looked flustered “yeah…”
“ you can look now. im decent” i let out a small giggle
he slowly removed his hand from his face and smiled when he saw me
“oh hey lia! it’s good to see you, what are you doing here?”
“i was looking at dresses.” i shrugged
“oh for prom? who’s the lucky guy” he questioned rather quickly
“uhhh no one…my friend wanted me to try them on but she’s not even here.”
“where is she?” he asked looking around
“something came up with her boyfriend.” i shrugged and so did he, leaving us in an awkward silence
“can you help?” i blurted out without even thinking what i had said
“with the whole dress thing? uh yeah that’s fine, i’ll wait out here”
“you can come in…that was the whole point” i laughed and opened the door more, welcoming him in
usually, i would never do something like but i was feeling confident
“i-you sure?” he asked furrowing his brows and tilting his head
“yes! come on before someone sees you” i grabbed his arm and yanked him in the room, closing the door behind us
chris moved the dresses to the side and sat in the middle of the long seat that took up one side of the dressing room
once he was comfortable he leaned against the wall, manspreading as he looked at me
“can you hand me that dress?” i asked chris, pointing to the royal blue dress next to him
he leaned forward and handed me the dress with a smile as i slipped it on
with my back facing chris, i looked at myself in the mirror as i slipped on the dress
i noticed chris’ eyes scanning my body and biting his lower lip slightly, “eyes up here” i laughed as i adjusted the straps on my shoulders
he must’ve forgot there was a mirror right there, or he just didn’t care
his face flushed a light pink color as he cleared his throat, stuttering in a nervous tone
“ i wasn’t staring, i was…” he looked at the ground then back at me and laughed when he couldn’t think of anything to say
i laughed with him but my laughter came to a stop when i realized i couldn’t zip up my dress all the way
“you need help ma?” he asked me
“yes.” i replied shamefully as chris rose up smiling
i grabbed a handful of my hair and moved it to the side as he came up behind me
“shit i think its stuck” he put his hand on my waist for balance as he fumbled with the zipper
i felt my face get hot at the sudden movement
i felt his warm breath on my neck and looked at him in the mirror, he was so focused while i was over here crumbling under his touch
“anddd..got it” he stepped back and smiled at me
i fixed my hair and turned around, “so how does it look?” i posed and spun around
he stood and starred at me for a few seconds without saying a word, my confidence draining slowly before he spoke “shit you look amazing”
i felt my face flush and i giggled “shut up” and turned around to face myself in the mirror, checking myself out
i snapped a picture on my phone and sent it to aaliyah, hoping for an answer
i put my phone down and sighed “okay” i turned back around to chris who was starring at me in awe
“what?” i giggled titling my head. chris shook his head and cleared his throat “nothing” he replied dryly
i turned and faced myself in the mirror once more, chris behind me already knowing what to do
he unzipped the dress as it slid down to my ankles, leaving me in my bra and boxers again
“oh shit. when did you get a tattoo?” he laughed while looking at the tattoo i had on my lower back
“why are you looking?” i raised a brow while looking at him through the mirror
he scoffed and rolled his eyes before replying “you have such a nice body ma”
i felt his hands creep up on my bare waist, sending shivers down my spine as he rested his head on my shoulder, making eye contact with me through the mirror
he then at me and put his pink lips up to my ear, “you look so pretty” i felt his warm breath against my neck and it gave me goosebumps
i turned to face him, looking back with his hands still on my waist
i stared at him for a few moments before i connected our lips
we made out passionately and i turned around to face him, placing my arms around the back of his neck with his hands on my waist, pulling my body closer to his
then i broke the kiss, our lips still hovering over one another for a moment before welding our lips together for a second time
chris moved his mouth down towards my neck, sucking and kissing my sensitive spot leaving hickeys, making me let out a small whimper
i tilted my head to the side with my eyes shut and fingers tangled in his hair as he marked me up all over
his lips found their way back to mine as we found ourselves making our way to the seat
chris sat down and i straddled him
we made out as his hands flew back to my waist as i grinded my hips against his growing boner
my hands fumbled with the band of his sweatpants while we were making out
he lifted his hips up and i slid off his sweatpants down to his ankles, him kicking them to the side
i grinded against his clothed cock as i became more and more soaked, desperate for something
he guided my hips with his hands on my waist, him whimpering as i did so
he jutted his hips forward and i felt his erection against my throbbing pussy
i decided to test the waters so i reached my hand down between us and starting palming him, causing a whiny whimper to leave his lips
i reached my hand into the waistband of his boxers, wrapping my hand around his length before he stopped me
“on your knees, now” he ordered and i obeyed, finding myself in between his legs and on my knees
he raised his hips in the air and pulled down his boxers down in one motion, his cock springing up and hitting his stomach
i felt my eyes widen and my heart stop beating at the sight of his dick, he was huge
my mouth watered at the thought of him slamming into me. his tip was light pink, covered in precum with a vein running down the side of it
chris laughed once he saw my face and stood up grabbing his dick, rubbing his tip along my lips “c’mon baby, you can do it.”
i wrapped my hand around the end of his member and placed teasing licks on his tip, causing him to groan due to the anticipation
i licked all the way up his cock and swirled my tongue around his tip
finally, i took all of him in my mouth, jerking off what i couldn’t fit which was easily an inch or two.
i started slow, gagging and whimpering against his hard dick causing vibrations to flow all through out his body
then i increased my speed bobbing my head back and forth, making him whimper
“mm baby…” i looked up at him to find him already looking at me, biting his lower lips “shit just like that.”
his words fueled me to give it my all, the pet name soaking me down to my core. i removed my hand and took in every single inch of him
speeding up my pace, i moved my tongue alongside the bottom half of his cock as i fit all of him into my mouth
chris was groaning and whimpering and letting out all types of cuss words while i worked my magic
i took all of him in my mouth, tears streaming down the side of my cheeks caused by my gag reflex
“gonna let me cum in that pretty little mouth? hm?”
i moaned against his dick, which we both knew was a yes. i felt him twitching in my mouth, warning that he was close
“shit ma i’m gonna-“ he whimpered as he shot thick gushes of cum down my throat
“swallow.” i did as told and stuck out my tongue to show him with saliva dripping down my chin and my lips pink and puffy.
he grabbed my chin and moved my head upwards to make me look at him. his eyes scanned every detail on my face.
the now dry tears all down my cheeks, my lips wet and swollen, my eyes low and tired, and my chin covered in a coat of my own slobber
“good girl” he growled in a low tone, looking at me with lust filled eyes. he leaned down to kiss me, before he ordered me to take off my remaining clothes.
i was already barley had anything on, so taking them off was easy and i sat watching chris take off what he had on
my eyes found their way to his hands, the veins that ran across them and his long slender fingers that moved at a quick pace to take off his shirt
chris threw his shirt to the side and moved his head over to look at me
“its not nice to stare mama. if you want my fingers in you just say that” my face felt hot and i felt my pussy leaking, i needed him so bad
“hm? i asked you a question” he looked at me tilting his head, walking closer towards me
“yes…chris please” i looked up at him with pleading eyes as he stood over me
he looked me up and down and slightly bit his bottom lip, “lay down”
i laid flat on my back with my legs hanging off of the edge, chris standing between my legs and placing one of them over his shoulder
“what do you want ma?” he looked down at me with low eyes and smirking
“anything, chris please! your hands, your mouth, i don’t care! i just need you” i whined
he grazed his hand up and down my folds causing me to let out a choked moan
“please chris…” i begged in a whiny tone, jutting my hips forward for more of him
“patience baby” he spoke in a low tone, i tried to wait but my core ached for some sort of relief
that’s when he shoved two fingers inside of me, and i covered my mouth, squeezing my eyes shut to stay quiet
his fingers curled inside my pussy and hitting my g-spot everytime, it was hell trying to stay quiet with the way he was pleasing me.
the fact his already rock hard dick was laying on my stomach and so close to my pussy, given the position we were in, was not helping my case.
i grabbed his biceps for support as i already felt my orgasm approaching “so…close” i struggled to speak but i pushed out those few words
he frowned and spoke in a teasing tone “aww, already? you like the the way my fingers feel in you baby?”
i could only hum in response, that’s when he kneeled down and started to suck my clit as his fingers moved at an ungodly speed
due to the sudden added pleasure, i accidentally let out an almost pornographic moan
i threw my head back and closed my legs around his head, clenching around his fingers as he was still sucking my clit
chris placed soft kisses onto my core before kissing his way up to neck, leaving more hickeys than before
“i feel you clenching baby, let it go” the pet name immediately sent me over the edge, my legs shaking as i moaned and released all over chris’ fingers
i felt him smile against my neck and removed his fingers, sticking them in his mouth and sucking them clean before kissing me, the taste of my release on his lips turning me on even more
“you taste so good ma, can you gimmie one more?” he asked in a low tone before grabbing the tip of his dick and running it up and down my folds
“chris im sensitive…i cant” i replied in a whiny tone, causing him to smirk
“yes you can. you gonna be good for me?” i nodded before he slowly pushed himself all the way in, giving me time to adjust to his size before starting slow
“fuck your so big- i dont know if i can take it” i balled my fists up as he stood over me, smirking as he took in my expression
“shhh…you got it ma. i’m gonna move now, okay?” and with that, he started moving slightly faster
i was overstimulated and sensitive, but the pain soon turned into pleasure once i got used to it
“faster chris, please” i looked up at him with my big brown eyes, begging for him to go faster
those words were all he needed for him to pickup his pace and start thrusting into me faster than ever
that’s when we heard a knock at the door, it was a staff member. chris leaned down to my ear and whispered, “you’re gonna talk to him, or i’ll stop.”
“excuse me? miss?” the employee questioned from the other side
“y-yes?” my voice was shaky as chris never stopped his trusts, “is everything okay in there? i heard screams” he sounded concerned
at that moment, chris started rubbing fast circles on my clit, kissing and sucking at my neck as he did so
“yes yes oh my god!” i slapped my hand over my mouth when i realized what i had just said, but redeeming myself nonetheless.
“yes! everything’s…FINE!” i stuttered as he relentlessly pounded into me, him laughing lowly as he saw the effect he had on me
“i just thought i s-saw a bug! everything’s f-fine!” i shot out quickly, trying to make myself sound more believable
“alright…” the employee walked away and let out a sigh, embarrassed at myself
“you’re…oh god” i struggled to finish my sentence
“such an asshole!” i joked at chris, causing him to laugh against my neck
“hm…considering what just happened i think im gonna need to shut you up.” chris spoke in a low tone as he took his two fingers and shoved them in my mouth
he was making me feel so good, and i felt myself getting close. his tip brushed my g-spot with every thrust, making my eyes roll to the back of my head
i knew i wasn’t gonna last long, between him pounding into me, his thumb rubbing against my clit with one hand, and his fingers in my mouth using the other as his pink swollen lips kissed my neck. i was a goner.
i was still letting out groans and whimpers, apparently too loud for his liking, since he removed his fingers from my mouth and wrapped his hand around my neck
he squeezed slightly which caused me to whimper, “you into that to? what a slut.”
his words hit me like a train, i was trying not to cum and it took every ounce of strength i had in my body not to.
i dont think chris knew that being degraded was one of biggest kinks.
“only for you.” i looked up at him with low eyes and a smile “shit don’t…don’t do that” he whined as his thrusts got sloppier by the second
an idea popped up in my head, “why, does it make you feel good knowing you’re in control, hm baby? is that what it is?”
he clamped his eyes shut and clenched his jaw as he whimpered nonstop
hm. praise kink.
“you make me feel so good chris” i teased him in a seductive tone
he whimpered out a small “fuck” and i felt his cock twitch inside of me meaning he was close
“you gonna let me cum in this little pussy? hm?” he questioned as he thrusted harder and his grip on my neck tightened, but not enough to hurt me
i moaned in response and shook my head as i clenched around him, “hugging my cock so well” he spoke as he leaned down to kiss me
he slipped his tongue in my mouth and i returned the gesture, moaning into the kiss as i did so
“shit chris! i’m-“ i was cut off by my release as my cum coated his cock
soon after i felt chris shoot a warm load into me, fucking me through my high as my legs shook
he pulled out as both of our juices oozed out of my pussy, i laid there trying to catch my breath
“you okay? you did so good ma” he smiled at me and help me sit up, handing me my clothes and placing a kiss to my forehead
i nodded and smiled in response as i dressed myself, chris sitting next to me and doing the same
“sooo…you’re not going to prom, right?” he questioned as he put on his clothes
i shook my head, “no, i don’t have a date and i’m sure as fuck not third wheeling my bestfriend” i laughed and he giggled before leaning against the wall and smiling at me
“what?” i laughed staring at him and returning the same smile
“do you…wanna go with me? i- if not that’s totally fine i was just-“ he stuttered out of nervousness before i cut him off with a simple yes.
“chris! its fine. i would love to go with you…but why?”
“why what?” he furrowed his brows, his expression confused
“why would you wanna go with me, out of all girls?” i questioned him
“cause i like you” he shrugged his shoulders before speaking again “always have. i was just scared that you wouldn’t like me back cause everyone has this…view of me. that im a player or something cause im popular”
“chris…” i felt myself getting emotional at his words, i didn’t know he felt that way.
“i’ve had feelings for you since freshman year. i didn’t think i was your type” chris looked down at the floor before i continued
“and…if you liked me then, why were you a dick to me all the time?” i laughed
“cause i was jealous. lia you might not know it, but there are so many guys who would go for you. like…that day at the halloween party? the one at school?”
“mhm” i shook my head, signaling i remembered what he was talking about
“dude…i thought you looked so good. but i wasn’t the only one. dudes in the hallways were always talking about how they’d fuck you so good if they had the chance and shit like that. and it just made me mad. but i know its not your fault, so im sorry for that”
chris looked like he wanted to laugh after his confession, i wondered what was so funny
“chris what are you laughing at” i giggled at the sight of him smiling
“promise you wont laugh?” he looked up at me, his cheeks flushed pink
“depends…”. i furrowed my brows and tilted my head, anticipation flowing through my body
“and…” he covered his face in his hands so he was muffled, but i still understood what he was saying
“when you were wearing that crop top and shorts it made me insanely embarrassingly hard and i jerked off in the bathroom after class” he spoke very quickly
“chris!! are you serious? the school bathrooms?” i laughed slightly, covering my mouth
“yeah. i was down bad…but now i know i can have you all to myself, anytime i want” he kissed my neck and put his hand on my thigh
i giggled at his sudden affection, “yes you can, but not right now, my friend is on her way!” i kissed him
“pleaseeee ma, really quick?” he dragged the word, peppering soft kisses to my neck and rubbing my thigh
“no chris, just wait for tonight. and my legs hurt” i laughed and he sighed, playfully rolling his eyes
“now…which one? or should i try on the other one cause y’know..you didn’t see it” i questioned him holding up the two dresses
“lia what just led to this whole thing…” he narrowed his eyes and smirked at me “i like that one.”
he pointed to the long silk forest green dress with sparkles all over it, “hm. me to” i smiled when we heard a knock at the door
“um…hold on” i opened the door and poked my head out to see aaliyah standing there with a huge smile on her face
“lia…who’s in there with you?” he smirked at me and raised an eyebrow
“would you believe me if i told you?” i whispered to her from behind the door
“depends.” he squinted her eyes
“chris!!” i whisper shouted at her, trying to contain my volume
her jaw dropped “YOURE LYING!”
i shook my head “nope!! and…he’s taking me to prom” i smiled at the thought
“oh my god so you are going!?”
“yeah!! oh and we fucked…” i paused for a moment
“really big” i whispered to her as she was still trying to take all this in
“holy fucking shit…how did this all happen again?” her eyes wide and eyebrows raised
“long story” i smiled at her “i’ll be right out” i told her and shut the door
“hey sooo…lia…could i like maybe, be your boyfriend?” chris asked me nervously, scratching the back of his neck
“yes, you can chris” i smiled and kissed him, his hands wrapping around my waist
“oh and also…” he dug into his pocket and pulled out a wallet, handing money to me
i looked at him confused, “it’s for your dress baby. take it” he placed the wad of cash in my hand, it was easily $400
“no chris i ca-“ i was cut off by him smashing his lips into mine, his hand caressing my cheek “this is nothing ma, just take the money.”
i smiled at him before he spoke again “by the way, you look so good in your dress. it’s a shame you won’t be in it for long” he shrugged and laughed
“chris!!” i laughed and hit his shoulder, making our way out of the dressing room.

darry headcanons
h...please.....
Of course!!
tw for suicide mention at the very end)
He’s a really good woodworker. He used to make tiny wooden figures for his brothers and parents
He was kinda the golden child for a bit-not exactly in a bad way, but he was smart and athletic and he would be the one his parents would brag about
He almost lost it when he heard from Soda that a teacher had been comparing Soda to him. He was livid.
His second job is a daycare worker and a lot of people judge him for it because he’s a man (he has a soft spot for kids
Sometimes when Soda and Pony are arguing he’ll just clunk their heads together
He’s lactose intolerant (Darry can’t have dairy 😞)
He didn’t lay a hand on Pony for a good few months after the book and kinda flinched whenever Pony went to hug him because he was terrified of hurting him
He actively makes an effort to listen more to Pony after the book
The reason Darry and Paul fell off was because after their parents died Paul thought it would be funny to prank Darry by waiting at the train tracks with flashlights with a few other people and they held flashlights up to look like train lights (Pont and Soda were with him) and Darry nearly cracked into a ditch.
Hes a dog person and lowkey kinda wants a german shepherd or something
The reason he started going to the gym was because he kinda had a rebellious teenage phase and he realized he was just kinda angry and he wanted to work it out
Darry was actually really popular in school and he keeps his Bou of the Year award (and was honestly probably voted prom king too)
He’s REALLY good at singing country songs (Brent Comer I see you!
When he read Pony’s recollection of him he nearly had a breakdown because he realized how stoic and hard he seemed
He hates being called Darrel because that was his father and hearing it reminds him of his father and it upsets him to no end
He takes the longest showers, like half the time he just stands there and thinks
When he first got into working out he had extreme body dysmorphia and constantly tracked what he ate. Pony and Soda had to help him out of it after their parents died
He has a kinda hefty accent especially when he’s upset
He often thinks Pony and Soda would be better without him and this led to very…bad thoughts.
The only way to really break him is by giving him a big hug and he’ll just break down.
Hell subconsciously clutch his brothers’ hands when he feels like they’re in danger because he’s scared he’s gonna lose them
He often skipped meals in favor of Pony and Soda and only stopped when he passed out on the roof he was working on and broke his arm
His dad taught him to play guitar and he could play it really well actually. He stopped when their parents died because it hurt too much.
He cries himself to sleep a lot tbh-his brothers only found out because they were cuddle piling him and he just started crying because he thought they were asleep. They don’t let him be alone at night after that.
Pony was valedictorian and he was so incredibly happy for him and cried at his speech because he mentioned how much he needed to thank Darry for his success (Pony also got a buttload of scholarships and Darry was beyond the moon)
Hes really good at fishing because he went with his dad a lot
He kills them with his bare hands though. He literally punches its skull in.
He had a high school sweetheart actually but they broke up when his parents died (it was a clean one though)
He sleeps on his back and then wonders why it hurts so bad
He loves getting his back rubbed honestly. Someone should take him to a chiropractor
He cracks his knuckles a lot
His eyes are fucking scary like catch him in the sunlight and it’s like when a cat is in the dark and gets a flashlight in their eyes
He started drinking beer after his parents died. Then he kinda turned to harder stuff. He was quick to shut it down honestly.
He gets hangry. Like he will snap at just about anyone and anything
Hes tried to off himself once. Long and Soda caught him evacsue he was drunk off his ass and missed and they were absolutely horrified
Thanks for the ask!! Hope you like the angsty ones!

how did that prom ended:
I felt lazy to make a comic of it so I just made a short video (also I'm kinda having trouble in life a little that I barely getting time or energy-)
But here's what happened:
So apparently the three make it to the prom, it were good lim had a good dance one with Albert and one with jett and they even record it lol, and even after lim asked if they could dance together so he can record that too but ofc there two didn't want it, but luckily the song changes before they even answer so the excuse the song so lim let it slide (smooth technique~✨), and some hours later the music stops and everyone look at that place where they announce the prom king and qquee and they saw kanya there, ofc lim were not want to see her but then kanya make an announcement like "hello everyone, thank you all for coming, I would like to make an important announcement, for an old friend.." Then she pointed at lim and they were shocked, friend?? Is this girl drunk or something? They she keep her talk with "I done..so so wrong to him both in past and current and...i wanted to make an apology in front of everyone as a made up for everything I were done" everyone were applauded, even jett and Albert (they didn't know lol) but lim were confuse and didn't trust this, but thought maybe finally he will got the apology he needed from her so he goes there, kanya reached her hand to lim and lim slowly reached his hand to him, but before everything a loud flush heard along with nail clingings, everyone were gasped and screamed in terror, kanya were planned to shame lim in front of everyone by flashing a blood bucket with nails on him, terrible prank am I right? Kanya laughed loud, Albert and jett run to lim who were crying just standing there all bloody and nails pinned around his head and body, along with Albert and jett, everyone were cursing at kanya because wtf, but kanya didn't take a word just smirking at lim, before she ever say anything jett punched her at the nose and she fell down then they took lim and walk out from there.
Well by the video you can see someone called the cops because there's a attempt of murder there, lim could've died there..well he didn't tho-
It didn't end well, they end up going to a local dryer (that one public place were people go to wash their clothes like on that Mr beans episode) and got lim washed, and just stop at a diner and just hang there, well in all that lim didn't say a word or stop crying, didn't even eat anything or wanted to do anything, Albert and jett tried to talk to him but all lim said was "i wanna go home." So they just drive him home
@weirdsillycreature we need to kill kanya mate, for our little crow(lim)..WE NEED TO END HER-

7 minutes in hell, or is it heaven? Part 9
-I'm Here-
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Warnings: smuty chapters, fluff, and lots of angst. Billy is a soft, mushy boy for y/n.
A/n: another long chapter! trying to find decent 80s dresses was a bitch because the fashion companies were going through it back then. 😆 also, I know Billy's outfit isn't prom ideal like a tux would be.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*y/n pov*
"Hey shitbird you're riding in the back," Billy yelled at Max, who was starting to get in the front seat as we walked over.
"Hey y/n, your riding with us?" She asked.
"Indeed I am, kiddo," taking her into a quick hug.
"Awesome!" She happily says.
I smiled at her then to Billy, who was trying to hide a smile while he got in. During the ride, the atmosphere was quit, other than Max's Walkman blaring "running up that hill" by Kate Bush in her ears.
I whispered to him with a small laugh "Well so much for hiding the relationship for a bit. Couldn't wait until tonight."
He chuckles, "I'm actually glad it's out." He says as he places a hand on my thigh, giving it a squeeze.
"You guys are being too mushy. Just say love you always." Max fake gags.
"You told her?" Looking at him in disbelief.
"She sort of figured it out." He sheepishly says.
"Because I'm a genius," she laughs, taking off her headphones.
"Fuck off Maxine!" He snaps flicking her off.
I started to laugh at their step siblings antics, because I knew that Billy cared for Max deep down. He just doesn't know how to tell her that, tho. Pulling into my driveway.
"Thanks for the babe, see you tonight."
"Anytime princess, see you later."
*small moment at the mall*
Sitting with Nancy and Robin at the food court, I pushed my food around with my fork while Nancy talked away. I wanted to listen, but my mind was on Billy and prom.
'Y/n? Are you alive, sweetie?" Nancy asks.
I look up at her, "Yeah, sorry, kinda zoned out." I chuckled.
She laughs. "I was just asking, when did you and Hargrove finally make a move with one another."
"Literally last night, but we've been secretly been friends since the day after the incident at the gym. Sorry for not telling you guys."
"Really?! That's great, so are you finally going to tell us why his nose was broken?"
"I punched him because he was being a dick." I say which was sorta the truth.
"Well, color me impressed, I have noticed you been a bit ballsy lately since after the party." She chuckles.
" So you guys aren't mad that I never told you the truth about stuff between us?" I asked.
The girls shook their heads no. "we are kinda hurt that you couldn't come to us, but we also understand, I'm just glad you can finally say you're dating Hargrove because your daydreaming was quite sad this year." Robin says through a small laugh.
Scoffing "Oh piss of Ro-Ro" laughing with her.
"Honestly the way he looks at you seems like you have him wrapped around your fingers, it's actually really adorable how he looks at you, never thought I would see the day that he would actually obey someone." Nancy says.
Laughing, I shook my head in amusement.
"So what the hell are you planning on wearing? Leave it to us for doing this last minute." Robin says.
"I honestly don't know." I shrugged. Getting up, we headed to vaporwave for our dresses.
We tried on literally everything in the store, but nothing seemed right.
"Wait here, I think I know what you ladies need." The older female clerk says.
The clerk pulls out three beautiful dresses from the back room.
"Ladies, I think we officially found our dresses!" Nancy yells as we all jump up and down.
Tumblr media
*time jump*
Standing in front of the mirror in my mirror, half put together. The reflection of the clock on my dresser reminded me that I was running out of time to get ready. Breaking eye contact with myself, I reached over and took the dress out of the bag.
"Come on, y/n," I breathed nervously . I stepped into the dress, slipping on my heels. All that was left was the zipper.
It was just Billy. I shouldn't be nervous. But I was going to prom with Billy Hargrove, the most beautiful man in the entire school, who is now my boyfriend. which was even hard to believe. It had taken us forever to even get to this point. We tiptoes around feeling this year.
Someone knocked on the front door, shaking me out of my mind. They let themselves in without waiting for an answer.
"Billy, is that you?" I called from my room.
"Yes, baby girl, it's me." A husky voice travels up the stairs.
"I'm almost done!"
He chuckles, "Take your time, beautiful."
Taking a big breath, I walk out of my room. Stopping at the top of the stairs. I notice Billy's head is down as his fingers fiddle with the corsage box. Clearing my throat, his head whipped up fast. "Fuck he's gorgeous" I thought as my eyes wander over him, he's wearing a leather jacket, a red button up that was barely buttoned, paired with jeans.
"W-wow y-you look absolutely amazing, baby girl." He stuttered a little.
"Did the famous Billy Hargrove just stutter?" I laughed.
"I take it back," he grumbles
Walking up to him, placing a hand on his chest. "Thank you, and you don't look half bad yourself." Moving my hand behind his neck, pulling him down for a kiss. A soft kiss. He pulls away with a smile, slipping the corsage onto my wrist. "Susan helped me with picking this out." He quickly says.
"I'm nervous......" I say quietly, "people are going to stare."
"Let them stare, but I'm nervous too, more so because I don't want to mess this up."
Giggling "love you dork."
"Love you too, nerd," he says, kissing my forehead.
"Do you mind zipping me up?" I asked as I turned my back to him. His fingers feathered by back until he reached the zipper, pulling it up swiftly.
"Are you ready, princess?" He asked, holding a hand out. Without hesitation, I nodded and took his hand.
*at prom*
We met up with Nancy and Robin in the school parking lot, along with Jonathan and Vickie. We chatted for a few minutes before heading in.
As we filed into the school gym, we all stared in amazement at how incredible the decorations looked. The gym was completely decked out with silver stars and streamers; it looked like the night sky. Seeing other classmates dancing to "take on me" by A-ha, genuinely enjoying the night. It was everything we could have imagined. With that, Nancy, Jonathan, Robin, and Vickie went running onto the dance floor.
"Let's get some food and drinks," Billy whispers in my ear.
Nodding, I follow him over to the refreshments table. Both of us grab food and drinks for us and everyone, we found a table that was near the dance floor.
"I can't believe I'm actually at a dance." Billy laughs a bit.
"Thank you for asking me and taking me. Since middle school, I've always wanted to experience a dance, especially with someone." I shyly say.
"Anything for you, princess." He smiles as he grabs my chin, looking up at him. I see how the lights made his blue eyes like sapphires, and his hair glows like a halo around his face. This man is literally going to be the death of me, I thought. He leans in, his lips hovering over mine, getting inpatient. I seal our lips together with desire.
Robin laughed at the both of us, "Christ, get a room, you two."
"You never know Buckley, we might." He jokes, earning a hand over his mouth.
*few minutes later*
"Now it's time for a slow song, so grab your special someone," the dj says over the speakers.
*"Right here waiting" by Richard Marx starts playing*
Billy got up from his seat. "may I have this dance?" He grins, holding out his hand.
"Yes, you may."taking his hand with a huge grin. Stopping in the middle of the dance floor, I was beginning to get embarrassed with everyone staring, my arms shakily wrapping around his neck, while his confidence ones slink around my waist, we begin to sway back and forth, I rested my head on his chest, my head under his chin, hearing his heartbeat I closed my eyes and savored the moment.
"Oh, can't you see it, baby? You've got me going crazy. Whenever you go, whatever you do, I will be right here waiting for you." He sings in my ear with the song.
Laughing "you are so cheesey."
He laughs with me, "You love it."
Looking at him, "indeed I do."
The song slowly ended. we made our way back to our groups table, and my friends were still on the floor together, I giggled at them, being weird to the song "You Spin me Round" by Dead or Alive. I saw Billy bobbing his head to the beat, which made me giggle harder.
"What?" He asked.
Smiling, "Nothing, I'll be right back. I'm going to the restroom."
"OK, princess." He says.
*few seconds in the bathroom*
While I was finishing up in the stall, I heard a group of girls come in, peering through the crack between the door. I saw that it was Anna, Veronica and Mary.
"Did you see how hot Billy looks tonight?" Veronica says.
"Oh, I definitely did. It's a shame he came with that ugly fat cow, I would be a much better date." Anna says as she checks herself out in the mirror.
"You know they are dating, right?" Mary sneered.
"They won't be for long when he sees me." Anna says as they cackled out the restroom.
My heart felt like it had been crushed into a million pieces. Tears were brimming were brimming my eyes. Letting out a long, shakey sigh, walking out of the restrooms, and going into the hallways. Walking through the empty corridors, the music gets quieter and quieter. Tonight was supposed to be the best night of my high school life, and it was turning into a nightmare because of my insecurities. Maybe I was having second thoughts about everything.
"Best night of our lives, my fucking ass." I mumbled to myself.
"Baby?" Billy voice broke the silence behind me, causing me to jump.
"B-Billy! Why are you here?"
"I saw you leaving the gym, princess. What's wrong?" He asks with concern in his voice. I threw my arms around him, pulling him close. He wraps his arms around me, I bury my face into the crook of his neck, and tears fall down my face.
"Baby girl, tell me what happened?" He asks again. Gently rubbing my back, pulling away enough so I could look into his eyes.
"How can you love someone like me? Someone that looks like me." I whisper.
"What?!"
"I overheard a few girls talking about me in the restroom. One of them wanted to steal you away because she prettier."
"Don't listen to those cunts, she will never be my type, she will never be you, you hear me?" He was getting angry.
"I love you y/n, you're stuck with my crazy annoying ass whether you like it or not."
Laughing through tears, "I love you too, I'm sorry for being insecure.
"It's ok baby, you know we don't have to go back in there if you don't want to, we can just go home, yeah? Get into bed, binge watch horror movies." He says calmly, hoping to sooth me.
I take a deep breath, "what about prom?"
"It's kinda overrated," he jokes.
Laughing "it kind is, isn't it?, let's go day goodbye to everyone."
Walking back into the gym, I was glued to his side. He noticed how I stared at a group of girls that were looking at us. "Were they the one?" He asks into my ear, shaking my head yes.
"Which one wanted me?" He asks, and I secretly pointed to Anna.
"Stay here, I'll take care of it." Was all he says as he walks to their table. Anna was smirking like she had won, but her smirk literally turned into a Shriek has billy poured her drink over head. He bent down to her ear.
"I wouldn't have looked at you if you were the last girl on earth, let alone touch you. You can never compete with y/n," he says loud enough for me to hear.
There was no denying that people were staring now, some even whispering. It started to make me nervous. He took me into his side again.
"You're amazing Hargrove you know that, right?" Grinning.
He chuckles. "I know, I try."
We looked into others' eyes. Everything was perfect. No one else around us mattered.
"You're cute." He winks , pulling me into a kiss, before being rudely interrupted by two people throwing their arms in between us. Pulling us back a bit.
"Jesus hargrove, you're heavy to move," Nancy says, struggling to move him. He chuckles at her.
I turn to Robin, who has me. "Didn't I tell you two to get a room!" She jokes again.
"Oh shut up," I joked back, slapping her shoulder lightly.
It really was a perfect end to a perfect night. What could top this?
Wicked Game
~ Chrissy Cunningham x Fem!Reader~
Tumblr media
Summary: You and Chrissy have been dating for a few months but when senior prom comes around you know you can’t go together. So you came up with a plan that will allow you to spend the night with the love of your life even if that means having to see Jason Carver dance with your girl .
warnings: swearing, angst, a bit of fluff. It`s the 80`s so there hints to people being homophobic. Also sorry if the descriptions of senior prom are wrong, I'm not American and so i can only base it off of films. not proofread.
Tumblr media
Senior Prom. 1986
The one night a year that teachers didn`t give a fuck. But you did. And you had worked so hard to get here. Everyone had. It was the last big school event before graduation and you couldn't have been more ecstatic. You were one step closer to getting out of this hell hole called Hawkins.
The theme this year was “Movie Magic” and you had spent weeks finding the perfect outfit. You were going as Sandy from Grease and to say you looked sexy would be an understatement.
Even though you couldn`t spend the night with the girl of your dreams you still planned to make it memorable. You and your girlfriend Chrissy had devised a plan to allow you to go to prom together without drawing too much attention.
Double date.
You would each take a guy as your date and go as a party of four to prom. It wouldn't be suspicious because everyone assumed you were just close friends and so it wouldn't be surprise that you two would go to prom together.
It was the perfect plan. Until it wasn`t.
Chrissy was so beautiful in her pastel pink dress. She had gone as Baby from Dirty Dancing and it could not have been a better choice. You had to stop your self from running up and kissing her when you first saw her.
Everything was going well. You were laughing and dancing and drinking punch like there was no tomorrow. That was until a slow song came on and you found yourself watching Chrissy across the dance floor while you danced with your “date”. Ben was nice but defiantly not your type. His breath smelled like onion and his hands were always sweaty but you guess what he didn't know wouldn't hurt him.
You were swaying from side to side and trying to listen to what he whatever nonsense he was rambling on about. But you couldn't take your eyes off her. Why was she laughing? Jason wasn`t funny he was the biggest ass you had ever met. He was the first to ask her so you had to put up with him for one night and one night only.
Ugh!! He needed to move his hands away from her ass or you would do it for him. His arms around her. Staring at her with hearts in his eyes. A part of you pitied the boy. But the other part of you so desperately wanted to be in his place at that moment in time.
It was getting to much so you extricated yourself from Ben and muttered something about getting some punch.
That was how you found yourself standing by the punch bowl with a scowl.
Why did you agree to this? Would anyone really expect anything, I mean tones of girls went together as friends . We’re you really that paranoid that you were  missing out on spending your senior prom with the only person you ever want to be around?
Yep.
You were that scared but with good reason. You don’t know how people would react and you didn’t want to find out.
But looking at Chrissy. Your Chrissy. You couldn’t do it anymore. Your breathing started to quicken and your hand curled into a fist. You had to get out of there before you punched someone . Most likely Jason for how he was looking at your girl.
And so you found yourself outside the back of the school with your back pressed closely to the wall. You tried to catch your breath and tilted your head towards the star sprinkled sky. God. This was your senior prom and here you were. Alone and trying to fight off tears.
A sound made your head whip towards the door and to your shock Chrissy appeared. Seeing your distraught state she immediately rushed towards you.
“Y/N?, what wrong sweetheart?”
You quickly wiped away the tears that had fallen and looked down.
“Nothing. I`m just being stupid.” you murmured embarrassed to be caught.
“ Sweetie, Hey, Don`t say that. Please. Why are you out here all alone?” Chrissy spoke softly and with such love that you couldn't help but meet her eyes.
“ I….. guess i got a little jealous” you answered quietly so she could only just hear what you said.
“Jealous?” she stifled a little chuckle and reach out to touch your cheek. She gently brushed the apple of your cheek with her thumb while she gazed at you. God her eyes. they were so beautiful how can they even be real. How can they be in front of you and looking at you with such love and admiration while you tell her your stupid  insecurities. “Of what?”
“You … and Jason.” You looked down in embarrassment but Chrissy used her pointer finger to tip your chin back up. She looked at you with such sincerity and something to say seriously? him ?.
“Oh baby.” She pulled you closer and her lips gently brushed against yours. She smelt and tasted like honey and if felt like you saw heaven (which you swear you saw every time you were with her).
 “ You know i only love you. He's just a beard as is Ben. I`d much rather spend tonight with you especially now that my feet are bruised from the amount of times he's stepped on them tonight.” She chuckled softly. You eyes widen upon hearing she's hurt even if it was an accident. She saw this and rubbed your arm to bring you back to what she was saying.
 “ I defiantly don't like him especially not like that.” She faked a gag which brought the first real smile of the night to your face. Chrissy smiled back and cupped your face with her hands.
“I'm yours baby and your mine. Ben can piss off and Jason can go fuck himself for all i care. Your my person. Nothing is going to change that Y/N. Nothing!”
Your shoulders relaxed at that and you pulled her into a passionate kiss which left you both breathless. How were you so lucky?
“I love you Chrissy. And if Jason ever hurts you again i will end him! I don't care if it an accident no one hurts my girl.” Chrissy chuckled at your statement and hid her head in your neck. She's so warm and cute it made your heart melt.
“How about we get out of here and go back your place?” Chrissy mumbled into your neck. The vibration sent tingles down your neck.
“That sounds perfect baby.” You whispered against the crown of her head. Suddenly there was noise that came from the door into the school and stumbling out came Robin Buckley and a girl you could only assume was Vicky. Robin and you had grown close when everything with the upside down was happening. She was one of the only people who knew about you and more specifically you and Chrissy. You also knew about her crush and Vicky and so to see them like this sprouted a seed of hope in your chest that your friend might find the same happiness and love that you felt.
The two girls were holding hands and giggling which abruptly stopped when all four of you made eye contact. An unspoken understanding settled over everyone.
 A laugh broke the silence and you turned to find Chrissy with a tightened face trying to hold in the rest of her laughs. Soon everyone was laughing loudly. As it died down Robin reached for Vicky's hand and pulled her away to find another hiding spot. As she walked past you held out you hand for Robin to discreetly high five you.
You turned back to Chrissy and wiped away a tear of joy before holding her soft hand in yours.
With grins on your faces you walked back to the parking lot but as you left neither of you noticed the flickering street lamp that illuminated your car...
Hello! It's still Blorbo Blursday in my time zone, so have an ask.
Your blorbos are organising prom at high school. Who is doing what job (selling tickets, looking after the money, decorations, DJing, etc.)?
It's still Blursday in my time zone for like another 7 hours don't worry.
oh gosh, okay. So my blorbos for my current project are very different ages and I don't want to age them down/up for this because it would change their dynamic. So I am just going to assume Ieuan and Wulfrith are adults helping out their young relatives and Matilde is the clingy little sibling the other characters have to supervise until her parents pick her up.
Isolde, Henry, Uthman, and Alan are close enough in age I can just say they're all on the prom-committee.
Okay...
Isolde is micromanaging. everything. Like, planning parties is her thing. She knows exactly what needs to be done to make it go smoothly and she does not trust these layabouts to understand her vision. (worst part is, she's right and the prom would have been a disaster had she not planned for every possible lull in the entertainment and unforeseen circumstance under the sun).
Matilde is her little assistant who Isolde uses to convey messages to the others, and also as a consultant on what colour the décor should be. Matilde takes her job as messenger very seriously (she bosses everyone around and Isolde lets her.)
Alan sells the tickets and looks after the money. His main responsibility is keeping his boyfriend's pesky little hands out of the cash box. He was chosen for the job because he is the only one who knows Uthman well enough to know his tricks.
Uthman got stuck hanging decorations. Isolde trusts him with nothing else. She barely trusts him with that. But he's good at climbing so that's a plus. Isolde sends Matilde to give him a new instruction about every two minutes to keep him busy. Uthman is ready to punch both of them. He doesn't care the Matilde is a child.
Ieuan is the only one with a licence so Isolde sent him to pick up the supplies. He is happy to do this because it means he is alone and unbothered. Isolde can't yell at him for not getting back on time if his phone is off.
Wulfrith is the DJ. He has such DJ/sound guy energy. Isolde, Uthman, and Matilde also call him over about every ten minutes when they need help lifting something heavy.
Henry is helping Alan with the tickets and money (i.e. showing him memes). Every time Isolde catches them snickering at something she marches over with another task for Henry to do. Every time she turns around he is back with Alan. When she asks if he did what she asked, annoyingly, he has. Isolde is stunned because there is no way someone would do that so fast. She thinks Henry's being an ass but, in truth, he just finds it cute when she's irritated.
Senior prom at Hawkins
Summary: Steve asked you to go to prom with you after overhearing a conversation between you and Robin, which leads to the best night of you life. (Robin is the same age as Steve here!)
Tumblr media
Senior prom was just a month away from now and yet everyone seemed to think that it was going to happen tomorrow; all the posters for prom queen and king were up and everyone was talking about their dresses and costumes and how to spike the punch bowl.
Don’t get me wrong prom is something that I enjoy but the thought of ending my high school career going to prom without a date wasn’t the most fun idea. It’s cliché but I guess I always wanted to have a high school sweetheart.  But luckily, I had the most amazing friend – her words not mine – Robin Buckley who also didn’t have a date, so we are going together with some other friends.
“So did you hear?”, I jumped at the voice and saw that it was Robin. “Well, you probably didn’t so let me tell you my dear sweet friend!”, I laughed softly as I closed my locker and let her take me to her next class as I had a free period.
“Apparently Steve Harrington got his ass kicked by Billy Hargrove and is still dateless for prom! Can you believe it?! The people of Hawkins are going crazy over it”, Robin was practically screaming in the corridor while playing a dramatic version of the person she probably heard it from.
“Well, I do hope that he is doing well because Hargrove clearly has some anger issues.”, Robin snickered at that and told me that he wasn’t looking pretty.
“As for his date to prom, we don’t either so we can’t really say anything”, Robin rolled her eyes at that. “Plus, he is the hair Harrington I am sure that he will find someone I mean even if he isn’t the top bitch in this school anymore, he is still the most handsome!”, Robin started covering her ears as I said that while faking vomiting.
“Please don’t ever tell me that he is handsome! I mean I already have to see you look at his ass every time he walks by so don’t make this worse”
“And I don’t say anything when you look at Tammie Thompsons boobs”, Robin shot me a glare at that.
“Please she has great boobs and way better hair than Harrington’s”, I scoffed at that.
“No, she doesn’t! He was literally nicknamed ‘the hair’!”, Robin muttered under her breath something that seemed to be the word ‘details’.
“Fine, I will let you fantasize about Harrington’s great butt and hair while I go to geometry!”, before I could say anything else she was already running into her classroom, god she was going to kill me one day.
“So, you fantasize about my ass?”, I felt my blood run cold as I heard the voice of Steve Harrington just behind me.
As I turn around, I see Steve looking at me with a big smirk on his face like the cat that got the cream.
“W – What? No! Definitely not, Robin was just saying that as a joke!”, I was a blubbering mess, and my cheeks were getting as red as his sweatshirt.
Steve let out a soft laugh and hummed softly.
“So, you don’t like my ass?”, he asked with his smirk still in place. If I thought the blush, I had was bad before that my cheeks were now a flaming red.
“No? Well, I mean you have a great… Oh god why am I saying this”, Steve started laughing at that and I joined him (for me mostly out of embarrassment).
“Thank you for that I needed the ego boost”, I let out a huff at that and he gave me a big smile that turned a bit shier at the end. “And the laugh.”, I was surprised to hear that but then again, he probably didn’t have an easy year with Nancy Wheeler leaving him for Byers and Hargrove stealing his crown and now beating him up.
“Well, I am happy that my embarrassing statement made you laugh!”, Steve chuckled at that and passed a hand through his hair; god that hair was amazing.
“Thank you it takes a long time to get it to perfection!”, Steve sends me a wink and I suddenly feel like dying right here right now.
“God sorry I guess that all the studying makes me say somethings that I shouldn’t say.”, I hope that he buys the explanation because that is better than telling him I have a crush on him since third grade.
“Well, it doesn’t bother me at all in fact I quite enjoy it”, I groaned softly of course he was enjoying this with that stupid smirk of his.
I was going to tell him that I had to leave to go to the library when he looked at me with his big brown eyes looking like Bambi and I felt myself wanting to stay.
“You know we were in English together last year?”, I smiled softly at that he was always the one to try and make the class a but funnier than it was.
“Yeah, I remember that class was boring!”, Steve laughed at that and looked back up from his shoes.
“I remember your presentation at the end of the school-year about your idol and I was so invested in it.”
“You were probably the only one then”, Steve scoffed a bit at that and shook his head.
“I am sure that I was not! But before that day I hadn’t really noticed you but after that I started seeing you everywhere!”, he seemed hesitant to continue.
“It’s funny how you can go from not seeing someone to suddenly seeing them everywhere.”, I felt a blush coming on my cheeks as he said this, but I was also asking myself where he was going with this.
“I’m probably not making any sense right now, but I want to ask you if you would like to go to prom with me?”, he seemed scared to utter the last words, but he looked at me with a hopeful look.
I was in shock, not only was he admitting that for about a year he was seeing me everywhere, but he was also asking me to prom.
“I totally understand if you don’t want to, I mean I’m not ‘King Steve’ anymore and my best friend is a middle schooler…”, he continued to ramble and stopped when I said his name.
“Steve, I don’t care if you are king Steve or if you aren’t! You are an amazing person and sure you hang out with middle schoolers, but I don’t see the real issue with that, half of our class are assholes, so I understand your choice!”, Steve let out a soft chuckle at that, but he seemed nervous.
“As for your question, I would love to go to prom with you Steve”, to say he was shocked was right because he was looking at me like a fish out of water.
“Really? Oh, wow okay!”, I laughed at his rambling and the way he passed a hand through his hair messing it up.
“That is incredible! I just have to drop Dustin of at his dance but then I can come and get you! You also must tell me what color your dress is for my tie and your flowers!”, Steve continued to say what we needed to do while I smiled softly at the boy in front of me.
“Steve! We have one month before prom I think we can arrange it in time!”, I tried reassuring him. He nodded at me and gave me a blinding smile.
“You are right, sorry! We could go on a date to plan everything out?”, he asked this question with the most innocent smile on his face, and I had to restrain myself from kissing him right there.
“Mmmh I think that is a good idea we do have a lot to plan! But maybe we could also get to know each other better?”, Steve gave me a big smile at my words and took a step towards me.
“Well, what about Friday night?”, Steve was suddenly in front of me and put a piece of my hair behind my ear.
“I am free”, I gave him a shy smile and he gave me a large one back.
“Perfect! I’ll pick you up at seven?”, I gave a soft nod and Steve let out a soft sigh of relieve.
“Well, I’ll see you Friday then! Can’t wait”, I felt a bit cold as Steve stepped away from me, probably going to his class.
“Me neither hopefully it will come quickly!”, Steve smiled and wished me goodbye while still looking at me and stepping away.
As he turned the corner, I suddenly remembered that Robin wanted to go to the movies Friday; she was going to kill me!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was finally prom night and after enduring exams and Robin whining about me spending too much time with Steve, I was ready for it to start.
“Alright how do I look?”, I turned to Robin while doing a little spin.
“You do clean up nice!”, I scoffed at that but let out a laugh.
“You look fabulous and everyone in there is going to be so jealous! Get ready to be prom queen!”, Robin let out a laugh at my disgusted face.
“Thank you, you look beautiful too! Get ready for the crown my dear”, Robin smiled at that and started doing a fake acceptance speech as if she had won prom queen. I smiled at that and felt a bit guilty at not going to prom with her anymore.
“Hey, I’m sorry that I dropped out of our friend prom to go with Steve. I mean I am so happy to go with him, but you are also my best friend, and I don’t want you to forget that!”, I breathed out a sigh after saying that and felt the bed dip under me.
“Trust me I will not forget it, I mean we are still planning on eloping to Vegas and getting a fake wedding, so you are stuck with me”, I laughed at that and took her in my arms.
“You are incredible Robin don’t you ever forget that!”, Robin looked at me with teary eyes before slapping me on the arm.
“Don’t make me cry I wasted to much time on getting ready”, I started laughing at that while she got up to try and get her hair under control.
“Please you took ten minutes”, Robin smiled at me through the mirror.
“Exactly ten minutes lost at doing this instead of other things!”, before I could say anything the doorbell rang.
As I went downstairs, I heard my mother open the door and heard her talking to Steve.
“You look beautiful!”, I felt a blush rising on my cheeks at his words and at his look of awe.
“Well, you are looking quite handsome!”, Steve gave me big smile before kissing me softly on the lips.
“Ew not in front of me! And your mother! Have some respect!”, Steve and I started to laugh at Robin’s words and my mother let out a soft laugh while shaking her head.
“You are looking good too Buckley”, Steve smiled at Robin while putting his arm around me.
“You don’t look so bad yourself dingus! Now are we going or not people?”, all three of us cheered and started going to the car before my mom stopped us and started taking pictures of us.
After what felt like an eternity, we were finally at Hawkins high senior prom. Robin went to talk to some people that she knew from band and Steve dragged me to the dance floor. While Steve was good at basketball, he wasn’t the greatest at dancing!
A slow song started playing and Steve took me in his arms while looking down at me with a loving smile.
“I can’t believe you said yes to go to the prom with me!”, I let out a scoff at that and Steve laughed.
“Well, I can’t believe you asked me!”, it was Steve’s turn to let out a scoff at my words.
“You know going on dates with you and learning to get to know you it really has helped me getting up the courage to ask you something”, I was smiling at Steve words while wondering what he was going to be asking.
“So, my question is would you like to be my girlfriend?”, Steve was looking nervous at the question.
“I am shocked that you even need to ask me this question! Of course, I want to be your girlfriend!”, Steve let out a soft ‘thank god’ and kissed me on the lips.
“You do know you will have to see Robin much more then, right?”, Steve laughed at that and nodded solemnly.
“I think we came to an agreement the both of us, she calls me dingus and I annoy her with my stupid hair”, I laughed at his response and started telling him that his hair wasn’t stupid when the music changed.
“Guys!!”, Robin came running towards us on the dance floor with several people glaring at her for pushing them.
“It’s our song! Well not yours dingus but it could also be yours!”, Steve looked like a happy puppy at these words and suddenly I heard the first words of the song.
“It is our song! It’s Running Up That Hill!”, I shook Steve a bit to make him understand and he started laughing.
The three of us started singing the song and as the night went on, I felt myself not being able to stop smiling. Robin and Steve were doing some ridiculous dancing on Lay all your love on me by ABBA and took me to the dance floor when Every breath you take came on to dance.
Safe to say it was the best night of our high school time.
“May I have this dance?” (Nagito x fem!dancer!reader)
(A/N: I’m sorry again for the hiatus but here it finally is. A lot of the writing is kind of old but I hope it’s to your liking.)
Tumblr media
The hope’s peak academy prom is starting soon. Some people are very excited while other people don’t really feel like going or don’t know what to expect. Nagito Komaeda, the Ultimate Lucky student is one of them. He always thought no one would go to prom with “trash like him” so he never really saw a point in going. But little does he know, there is actually someone who wants to invite him to prom, and that someone is you.
You’ve been one of the only people who ever talked to Nagito and he is really grateful for your company. You’ve been really great friends for a while despite how Nagito always says he doesn’t deserve a hopeful ultimate being his friend, but you still stayed with with him and eventually developed a crush on the white-haired male.
It was the day of the prom and you stopped by near Nagito’s locker as you see him rummaging in it. He noticed your presence and closed his locker. “Hello Y/N, do you need something?” Nagito says, giving a closed-eyed smile. “Uhm yeah. I was just wondering, do you have a date for the prom tonight?” You asked. “No I don’t have a date, but that isn’t really surprising, is it? I mean who would want to have trash like me be with them at prom?” You put your hand on his shoulder “Hey, you’re not trash. And also I was going to ask you to be my prom date anyway.”
His eyes widen “Surely you’re just saying that out of pity, an excellent dancer like you could always find someone better to take to the prom than a filthy insect like me.” “It’s not out of pity, I genuinely want you to be with me at prom. I don’t mind if you don’t want to come with me but not just because you think of yourself as these things.” He was surprised by your insistence, he never knew anyone would be ever willing to do something like this with him, so he accepted your invitation. Before you could react, the bell rang for your next class. “Oh, there goes the bell. I’ll see you at prom then.” He waved you goodbye as he gave you the smile that always made you feel butterflies in your stomach.
~~~
Hours have passed and now it was time for prom, You entered the room where the prom was held and saw all your friends in a variety of wonderful outfits. You were excited but you had to go find your date. You tried to look around, occasionally bumping into people nearby, then you found him.
He stood out to you the most at that moment, he just looked so beautiful. His hair, his suit, his shy expression, you cant take your eyes off of him. You called out his name and waved at his direction. He flinched at your sudden appearance then gave a reliving chuckle as he went up to you.
“I hope it didn’t take too long for you to find me. I.. I still can’t believe you chose someone like me to be your date to prom, I must be the luckiest being alive to have such an opportunity.” He scratched the back of his neck “It didn’t take too long, also you look very lovely tonight.” You gave him a reassuring smile. “I-… Thank you very much, you look absolutely stunning yourself, if you don’t mind me saying.” You replied with a quiet “Thank you.” and you both went to get something to eat for now.
After a few small conversations with fellow classmates while drinking punch, you both went to a spot where it was slightly more distant from the rest of the students. You wanted to get rid of the lack of conversation, so you finally asked the question. “May I have this dance?” He stood confused, “You… you want to dance with… me?” You nodded and held out your hand in front of him happily.
“…I don’t understand why you want to dance with me, I’m not really good at dancing. And even if I was, I would never reach your skill no matter how I tried. I’m not even sure how I befriended such a talented dancer! Trash like m-“ You silenced him before he could talk down on himself “I could teach you if you want.”
“You really would? Oh wow, I don’t think I could accept such an offer from someone so special!!” You reassured him that it’s okay for him to dance with you so he gave you a nod.
“So what kind of dance do you want to try? Waltz? Foxtrot? Tango?…” He only scratched his cheek with his finger shyly without giving an answer because he hardly has any knowledge in dance. You decided to teach him the classic ballroom dance you see in movies and tv shows, hoping that it's somewhat familiar to him since that’s the easiest thing you could do.
“So just put your hand here and I’ll put mine on your shoulder.” You could feel how shaky his hand is on your back as you continue to instruct him. Surprisingly he hasn’t said anything bad about himself yet so you continue talking before he does. “And now you just move your feet like this.” He attempts to follow your steps, trying not to step on your feet. You could see his features more up close this way. His face looks reluctant, probably from thinking he doesn't deserve to be this close to you, but he seems to be enjoying himself nonetheless.
It was going smoothly, until he somehow tripped due to his luck. He let out a yelp when you gracefully caught him before he could fall to the ground. Your eyes met his and you gave him a smile. “You did well, Nagito.” You pulled the flustered male back up and continued to dance. The music went slower and most of the people started to slow-dance. You both felt like you were in slow motion at that moment and it felt more intimate. He was somehow getting the hang of it quickly and suddenly your chest was then against his.
You gently twirled Nagito and dipped him slowly, you could see stars in his eyes and a pink tint on his cheeks. The moment felt so perfect. You couldn’t think before you act so you pulled him in and pressed your lips against his, he froze from your sudden gesture. After all this time, he never thought you could ever have feelings for him, for scum like him out of everyone here. He truly doesn’t know what to do. You pull away from the kiss and saw his stunned expression which made you worried. 'Did I go too far?' You ask yourself.
“A-Are you okay.” You cup his cheek softly “Oh, I’m alright. It’s just that I never thought anyone would want to do anything like that to someone as lowly as me, let alone an ultimate like yourself.” He starts to calm down a bit. You pull him back up to the position you were in earlier. “Please don’t say that you’re lower than any of us. You have the same potential as any ultimate here. I don’t like that you say such untrue things about yourself, because I like you a lot. And I know that you hold a beauty that no one else could ever have.” You smile softly as you wrap your arms around his neck.
This moment made his heart swell, it felt like this was the luckiest night of his life. For someone he cherished so deeply to love him back? He doesn’t know how to thank you. “So.. do you still want to dance?” You place your forehead against his “Of course, my hope.”

You don’t have a plus one for the prom-themed uni party you’re organising as a member of the student council, but Dongheon sets you up with Hoyoung who might actually become more than just a stranger who saves you from boredom during that night.
➳ Characters: uni student!Hoyoung x uni student!reader/you
➳ Genre: fluff, comedy, university au
➳ Words: 6.3k
➳ Warning: -
➳ Taglist: @dat-town
➳  A/N: I don’t know about you, but Hoyoung radiates warmth and comfort to me, so here’s a really cute and comforting story for you all. I hope it brings you some joy. ❤️
Sometimes, you wish for nothing more than to just lie down, close your eyes and rest for about a few days before any duty calls you ever again. Obviously, you can’t do that when you’re in finals week, and you’re also in the last stage of the university party preparation that you - alongside the other student council members - would want to make as enjoyable as possible.
Thankfully, the head of the student council - Lee Dongheon - is as prompt as always, and as the Leadership and Management master student as he is, he manages the preparation to the best of his ability. That doesn’t mean that everything goes as smoothly as you’ve wanted to, starting from the fact that you had to go buy half of the decorations in person a day before because the party props company can’t deliver in time due to high demand, not to mention the DJ you’ve invited falling ill and having to find someone to take his place a few days ago and some other, mild mishaps along the way.
After a poll that you’ve sent out to all students, it was decided that the student council would organise a prom-themed party, so it would be a more formal event which students can dress up for, come together with their significant order or just enjoy themselves with their friends as their requested song is being played by the DJ.
Though for that to happen, you really need to be done with the decorations as fast as possible, so you should probably stop overcatastrophising everything and finally put on that garland that you’ve been holding in your hand for the past few minutes.
“Hey! Need some help with that?” As expected, Dongheon is right there in a second with a small ladder in one hand, pointing at the decoration in your hand.
“Oh, thanks. I think I’ll manage. I was just waiting for you to finish with that side, so that I could have the ladder.”
“Oh yeah, sure. Don’t want a petite girl to suffer without a ladder,” Dongheon teases like the jokester he is, but you can’t be mad at him even if you hold your hand up as if you were about to hit him in the shoulder.
“Not everyone is as much of a giant as you are,” you counter-attack, a light laugh escaping your lips as you two exchange a glance before Dongheon sets up the ladder, putting it close to the wall, so that you would have an easier time assembling the decoration.
“So, do you already have your plus one for the prom?” The head of the student council asks casually as he’s holding the ladder, so that it would stay secure while you’re standing on it.
“No. I don’t have a boyfriend,” you answer nonchalantly as you attach a set of garlands to the wall. You turn back to look at him, motioning to him to hold up another set of garlands for you, but he’s too busy whining.
“Oh, come on! You’ve really organised this whole party just for others to enjoy?”
“I’ll go with my friends, that’s fine,” you reassure him firmly because you really don’t mind not having a plus one even though Yerin would go with Minchan and Hari would probably leave your side 5 seconds into arrival because she’s on a lookout for hot single guys on campus. That’s fine though; you’ve organised this whole prom-themed party with couples and singles in mind, so you can just sip on your punch by the corner and monitor if everything’s going fine.
“Now, the garlands,” you emphasise, and Dongheon lets out a semi-exaggerated sigh before reaching into the nearby box and giving you another set of garlands while you’re moving with the ladder alongside the wall.
You - very wrongly - assume that he will just let it slide, but about a paper lantern and a star-shaped decoration later, he suddenly speaks up.
“I’ll get you a plus one. You’re in your second year, right?” He asks even though Dongheon knows such information about everyone in the student council like the back of his hand. He even knows your birthdays which is pretty nice of him because he always gets something small for everyone. On the flipside, when he’s upset or dissatisfied with something, no one dares to speak to him because he’s like a ticking time bomb. Though he’s nice most of the time, so it’s not that big of a deal (and he’s definitely not as scary as rumours make him out to be).
“Yeah.”
“Good. I have a friend in second year who probably doesn’t have a date either. He’s always too busy taking care of others instead of himself,” he chatters with a reprimanding edge to his tone as if it was something horrendous.
“Sounds a lot like you.”
“Hey! You don’t want to see the currently dying plants in my room, okay?” Dongheon replies in a semi-serious state, but you both find yourself smiling afterwards. You turn back to the wall to attach a paper heart and as you do so, you blurt out:
“You don’t have to do that though. I’m fine without a guy.”
“Weeell, but I’ve really wanted to set him up for some time, and he’s a great guy, I promise,” he mentions, and it’s like he’s justifying himself already, and he’s so dramatic about it - all puppy eyes and pouts and a disheartened tone - as if his life depended on it. Knowing him, he probably does have sleepless nights over not being able to set up one of his friends with anyone.
“Fiiiine,” you say and let out a long sigh, getting off the leader in the meantime. As you reach the ground, you turn to face the now-grinning Dongheon. “But only if he wants to do it himself.”
“He’s dying to come, I can confirm.”
And so that’s a deal. Two days before the actual prom, Dongheon gives you the guy’s number, so that you could message each other and find each other on the day of the party, but little do you know, that night turns out way more different than you would have imagined.
Tumblr media
When the results of the poll came back, and it turned out that most students voted for a prom-themed uni party at the end of the spring semester, you didn’t think much of it. Yet, as you’re looking down at your plain dress and your flat-heeled shoes because there’s no way you would spend hours in high heels, you feel a bit out of place. This party doesn’t seem like somewhere you belong, and you start to get extra anxious as you’re waiting for your plus one by the noticeboard in the hallway (a convenient place to meet up because probably nobody waits here other than you).
Dongheon has told you that his friend - Bae Hoyoung - is a really nice guy, he’s kind and considerate and very loving towards his younger friends, so he thinks you couldn’t have ended up with a better plus one. You don’t know how much of it is exaggeration when he claims that Hoyoung is a real gentleman and a handsome one on top of that because Dongheon likes to exaggerate, but you let him be.
No matter how cool his friend is based on the texts you exchange before the party, you start to question why you’ve decided to give in even though your friends were so happy to hear that you were about to meet a boy. Though the chances were very low that you would end up keeping in touch with your plus one after the event because you’ve never been lucky with boys, so why would he be an exception?
No wonder you find yourself nibbling on your lower lip as you’re waiting for Hoyoung, both anxious and restless, but when he walks up to you in a gorgeous suit and casual Converse sneakers (they at least match the black and white colour of his pants and shirt), you become a bit speechless. Surely, you have seen his profile picture on Kakaotalk, but that doesn’t do justice to how tall he is in real life, and you certainly didn’t notice the cute moles dotting his face on that picture as opposed to now. Even his smile is light like a feather, and the way the wrinkles around his eyes deepen when he’s smiling makes your heart take a silly little turn.
“Hey!” He greets you in a friendly manner, coming to a halt beside you. He’s towering above you a bit, but it’s not in an intimidating way, so you don’t feel uncomfortable.
“Hi!” You greet him back, feeling a bit silly over checking him out from head to toe a moment ago. What can you do though? His profile picture isn’t a full-body one. In fact, half of the picture isn’t even him but a white furball, probably his dog, so you could only see his face in the photo.
“Sorry about the shoes. I forgot that I don’t have dress shoes with me in the dorms,” he apologises immediately as he’s looking down at his pair of Converse.
“Oh, it’s totally fine. Don’t worry about it! It’s not like I dressed up as if I came to a real prom.”
“You look pretty,” he blurts out casually, but your lips part in bewilderment because you didn’t see such a comment coming so soon, and you need to remind yourself to function properly. You end up mumbling something akin to a thanks, and prompt you two to step inside the gym hall where the party takes place.
It turns out that the gym hall is packed with people, so much that you feel like you step on someone’s shoes every second as you’re trying to get closer to the centre of it with Hoyoung by your side. Which is great because it means you didn’t work for nothing, but it also means that you have a hard time finding any spot where you can dance without worrying about bumping into someone’s back or chest, and even when you do, it’s almost impossible to keep up a conversation because the music is so loud.
You dance for a bit though without saying a word, but it gets a bit awkward just smiling at each other and trying to move left and right without smacking someone, and you can feel that Hoyoung is thinking the same. You didn’t really come here just to dance, you aren’t even that good at it, but it’s impossible to do anything else because of the loud music.
“Don’t you want to-” You start saying, leaning closer to him, so that he could hear what you say, and he’s doing the same, so your faces are only inches apart. You blink rapidly, gulping down the nervous knot in your throat, trying not to pay too much attention to his beautiful, warm orbs that remind you of fall: of colourful leaves creating a carpet under your feet, of a cup of warm tea on a chilly night, of the smell of summer parting and a new season coming up and the bittersweet feeling of the cycle of nature moving forwards.
Your breath hitches in your throat for a moment because he does have beautiful eyes, and it’s hard to look away because they are like a magnet, but you’re saved by the boy’s question, his hot breath fanning over your neck as he’s leaning towards your ear.
“Should we go outside?” He asks with a raised voice, trying to speak over the volume of the currently blasted song.
You nod immediately, then turn around to leave the dance floor. As you’re doing so, you check back from time to time to see if Hoyoung’s still following you and you haven’t lost him in the meantime, and the third time you do so, you end up colliding with someone. You and the stranger both apologise, so you can move on, but you feel Hoyoung’s fingers over your wrist, giving it a slight pressure, his eyes asking if you’re okay when you look at him.
You try to reassure him with a bob of your head and a friendly smile, and thankfully, there are no further mishaps as you’re making your way outside of the hall. You just get to the corridor when you catch sight of Dongheon checking something on his phone while walking towards the doors of the gym hall. He only looks up when Hoyoung says hi, but when he does, boy, he’s grinning.
“Hey, you two! Is everything alright?”
“Apart from the music causing us ear damage?” Hoyoung replies immediately, his tone semi-playful. Dongheon’s smile falters a bit but only a tiny bit.
“Oh no! I’ve told the dude to keep the volume at a decent level,” he shakes his head in disapproval, and you can already foresee the master student’s first to-do when he gets inside the gym hall. “Anyways, where are you going?” He quirks an eyebrow, curious, and it’s you this time who answers him.
“Just somewhere where we can talk, I guess?” You say, a bit uncertain, sending a side-glance in Hoyoung’s direction who reassuringly smiles back at you. You immediately find yourself mirroring his action, and it may be because of this or the fact that you two are leaving the main party to have a conversation, but the head of the student council is more than delighted either way.
“Ooooh, you’re talking now!” He wiggles his eyebrows at you as if it could mean anything. “That’s great! Well, have fun!” He wishes with a wide grin, and as he’s walking past you two, he pats Hoyoung’s shoulder. You furrow your eyebrows, look at the boy beside you, and giggle when you see his reaction.
“He’s just weird,” he mentions as if that could explain anything, but even his lips curl upwards. Considering how Dongheon has said that he has wanted to set up his friend with someone for a long time now, you can guess why he might be like an excited parent who sends his kids off to school, realising how much they’ve grown up, but you try to tell yourself that it’s nothing like that. You would just merely prefer talking somewhere quiet instead of being smacked every second by someone around you and completely not hearing the other because the DJ is too loud.
“Soooo… should we walk in the park beside campus or…” Your voice trails off by the end, and you expectantly look at the pitch-black haired boy beside you, hoping that he might help you out.
“Yeah, that’s a good idea.” He nods, smiling, and it’s really adorable how his eyes become little crescents when he does so, his dimples deepening. You’ve always had a thing for dimples, and you can’t help but smile widely at him when his dimples literally pop out. You need to remind yourself not to stare too much at him, so you focus on your steps instead, looking ahead of you as you’re making your way to the nearby park.
Tumblr media
The park which you’ve agreed on is only a few-minute walk from the main building of your campus, and given the later hour and the fact that the students who want to be at school right now are in the gym hall, not a lot of people roam around in the park. While it’s not prohibited for non-students to enter it, the majority of people are still students. No wonder why because it’s such a picturesque sight with the little lake in the middle of it with some ducks, the colourfully painted benches and the vividly green grass where groups can have lovely picnics in the shade of the magnificent oak trees.
“I love coming here, especially during exam season. It seems like such a different world from campus even though it’s so close. It’s good to clear your mind sometimes like this,” Hoyoung muses out loud, and you don’t even think twice before you say:
“Exactly! I totally feel the same way,” you mention enthusiastically, and you immediately feel so silly for sounding so pumped up even though the boy beside you is nothing but kind. He might look intimidating to others with his elegantly parted, pitch-black hair, the sharpness of his jawline and his mature features, but when he smiles, his whole face lights up, and his voice is full of life when he speaks.
“So Dongheon has said that you two work together in the student council.”
“Oh yeah. We know each other from there,” you bob your head, remembering back to the first time you met him, and how he has helped you with a lot of academic-stuff, especially when you just joined the council in your first year. “I’ve thought that he’s a really strict and stern guy, but it couldn’t have been further from the truth,” you admit with a little giggle that the boy simply mirrors.
“I can see why. Even when he has his neutral face, he looks a bit intimidating, but really, he’s just a big baby. Sometimes I feel like I’m the older one out of the two of us,” Hoyoung laughs a joyous laughter, and you join him, letting the early summer night carry the sound of your laughter around the park.
You let silence cover you for some time, but it’s not embarrassing or awkward. It’s more than comforting, actually. Yet, now that you’ve brought up Dongheon who has actually set you two up, you can’t help but ask:
“Why is he so obsessed with setting you up?”
“That’s a good question.” Hoyoung chuckles. “He’s just like ‘oh, Hoyoung, dude, you deserve a girl, I’ll get you one’ because he thinks I spend too much time helping others when in fact I think I just do things because they are the bare minimum?” He mimics Dongheon’s tone and it’s so hilarious, you laugh out loud. Then, he goes on to explain that it might be because he’s learned how to help others because he has 5 siblings, so he knows the importance of assisting others without being directly asked to. It makes sense, but at the same time, you’re truly in awe, and you’re sure that he’s a great brother himself.
However, as you talk about your families and non-existent love life that Dongheon likes to point out, you have a question on your mind, and you decide to blurt it out in the end:
“Do you feel like you need someone in your life?”
“Well, that’s a complex question,” the boy starts with a tilt of his head, contemplating.
“Says the Sociology major, I see,” you mention, and gosh, when have you turned playful? Hoyoung doesn’t mind though, in fact, he gives you a dimpled smile before his features smoothen out and his tone becomes more serious.
“I don’t really feel like there’s this void that needs to be filled with someone’s presence, you know?” He looks at you for confirmation, and you nod. “I believe that a romantic relationship should be about having someone to rely on, having someone you can take care of and feeling safe and comfortable beside them instead of feeling like they are your whole world, so when they may leave, your whole world shatters. It may sound egoistic but I feel this way, and for that reason, I don’t feel like I’m missing someone from my life, but it’s not that I would object if I fell in love.”
His words are mature and articulate, and you don’t know why, but you get surprised by how aware he is of his own feelings. You know how in today’s society, you’re almost being looked down on if you don’t have a significant other because it might indicate that you aren’t good enough, and a lot of people actively look for love because of that. There’s nothing wrong with looking for love, but just like the boy has said, you aren’t of the same opinion as others.
“No, no, that’s something I can relate to. I mean…” You decide to put in your two cents whilst you’re at it, but you need a few more seconds to put together your reasoning. “I’ve had crushes in the past, but my crushes never liked me back, and if I had let the rejections get to me, I would have felt really unlovable and probably would still do so. So I also think that preserving your autonomy while still being open to let someone in is what’s probably the healthiest option for me.”
You believe in love, you really do, but your experience has proven to you that you’re good the way you are, and you shouldn’t let others’ lack of romantic feelings towards you change anything about your self-worth. Especially because you can’t force feelings onto someone, you know that all too well.
“It’s not your fault that they didn’t like you back. The right one will do so,” Hoyoung adds gently, and you feel your heart thaw at his words. When you look him in the eyes, you can see the small version of the moon reflecting in his deep, dark orbs, and you think it’s beautiful; how he shines like sunshine with the moon in his eyes.
“It got deep pretty quickly, didn’t it?” The boy chuckles, breaking the precious moment, but you don’t even mind because you’re sure your feelings are written all over your face, so you’re glad when you can talk about topics other than love.
As you continue your stroll, accompanied by the slight buzz of the party and the sounds of the city that never sleeps, you end up talking about why you have joined the student council and stories regarding Dongheon and his student council duties, Hoyoung calling his friend out, saying that Dongheon usually calls him to vent to him when something goes wrong. Then, you also talk about your majors, why you’ve chosen them, whether you like them or not and what your favourite classes are this semester, and it’s lovely listening to someone who’s so curious and intellectual and able to share his opinion without putting down the other’s.
When you reach the lake, you stop for a while and sit down on a bench, and your heart yet again skips a beat when Hoyoung covers your legs with his suit jacket. Gosh, Dongheon was actually right about him being a real gentleman and taking extra care of others! Still, the gesture makes you blush really hard, so you’re glad that the nearby lamp posts radiate only dim lights because you wouldn’t want the boy to see your burgundy face.
Yet, getting away from the party means getting away from the food and drinks, so since you’ve already walked further from the gym hall, you don’t go back for that, you opt for a café on campus instead. While waiting for your sandwiches and drinks and while eating, you continue talking about common topics, but with him, even those seem special because he’s actually interested in your answer, and ready to share his opinion. It’s not a forced small talk you’re so terrible at, it’s actually an active conversation, and you have a hard time believing that you can feel this way around someone even if you’ve met him for the first time.
No wonder you feel the need to express your gratitude towards the boy when you finish your dinner and head to the dorms together.
“Well, I’ve really enjoyed today. I think our kind of prom was better than the actual one.”
“I promise I won’t tell Dongheon that you’ve said this,” Hoyoung jokes, making you laugh, and it’s such a lovely way to end this lovely night. You don’t have high hopes or anything of the sort for whatever that is between you and the boy, but your smile is genuine when later on, you wave him goodbye as you’re heading towards your room, and you know well that you wouldn’t have traded your kind of prom for anything else.
Tumblr media
Dongheon might not have heard what you’ve said about the prom, but he has sure heard that you had a good time with his friend (from both Hoyoung and you), so he casually sends some so-called boyfriend material photos of his friend over to you one day without any explanation, and when you ask him why, he merely sends a shrugging emoji. You guess that he hasn’t been subtle to his friend either because Hoyoung ends up messaging you a few hours later, telling you not to take Dongheon seriously no matter what he says about him or what he sends.
“He just sent me some ‘boyfriend material’ photos of you. Wanna see them?”
“I’m going to strangle him one day, but sure.”
So you send him those pictures, mainly of him sipping on something at a café while looking out of the window dreamily, walking down the street in a puffy coat and a scarf, wearing an oversized hoodie with the hood over his head and holding a painting in his hands as if he was trying to show it off. Along the way, he ends up telling you stories that are related to the pictures, you even get to know that he painted that landscape in his hands, it was actually a painting workshop with an instructor during last semester, and when Dongheon asked what he did over the weekend, and he told the older boy about it, he was very keen on seeing the final product, so he sent the pic over to him.
“I didn’t think that he would keep them. :(”
“Now you know. Better be careful from now on.”
You type and send him an emoji where one of the Kakaotalk characters pat the other on the back, and you get a hugging emoji in return, and you’re so shocked that for a moment, you completely freeze.
“Oh, my bad, that was by accident. I’ve wanted to send this one.”
He replies a few seconds later with an emoji that’s bowing and thank you is written over its head. You tell him that he shouldn’t worry, but you need some serious amount of time to calm down your nerves.
It’s fun though, things fall back into normal afterwards, and actually, it’s not even that weird talking to the boy yet again. It almost seems natural, and since you two are both busy university students finishing finals, it’s not like you’re bombarding each other with messages. Yet, you can’t deny that you get an instant serotonin boost whenever you see that he has messaged you, and soon enough, your friends start teasing you about it. Yerin is being her kindest self as always, telling you just how much you would deserve a guy who likes you back while Hari starts moping that Dongheon should set her up with someone if he has so many single friends because he needs a boyfriend ASAP.
You tell them that it’s not like that, you’re just getting to know each other, but it seems awfully like a crush yet again, especially when summer break comes, and you two keep messaging each other. When the fall semester comes, you can’t wait to see him face-to-face, so when you manage to bump into him in the hallway or he lands Dongheon something in the student council office and you’re there, you feel like a silly high school student yet again, fanning over her first crush.
Then, he asks if you could take part in a project he’s doing for one of his classes and he needs to have interviews with students on how their childhood experiences shaped the way they feel towards socialising as they grow older, and in return, he treats you to a thank you lunch a few days later. After that, you lose track of the times you meet up, let it be for a quick lunch break between classes, studying together in the library or just randomly bumping into him in the hallway.
While getting to know each other through messages, random meet-ups and sometimes Dongheon’s intervening, you feel yourself falling for him more and more. You can’t help it, but this time, instead of falling head first, it seems like you’re falling gradually, and you don’t know which one is scarier. So you just let it be, enjoying your time beside the boy until you’re sure of his feelings towards you, and as time goes by, you’re less and less scared of falling.

With you two staying in contact over the weeks and all throughout the fall semester, it’s no surprise that Hoyoung knows when you take your exams, but you wish he didn’t remember so well when you feel under the weather after taking one of your exams, sitting on the top of the service stairs that not so many people frequent. That’s exactly what you need right now, and even when he messages you, asking about the exam and you tell him that you might have failed it, you don’t expect him to actually show up when he asks where you are.
There he is though, standing in front of you, eyes shining with worry as he’s looking back at you. You look down at your shoes instead, not ready to mope or vent to him. You see from the corner of your eyes when he moves towards you and sits down beside you, letting out a long sigh.
“What do you do when you want to cheer yourself up?”
“I watch funny videos sometimes,” you mumble under your breath, but you don’t feel like doing so now. You feel the need to cry, but no tears come out. Maybe it’s because you’re also partly angry, not just disappointed.
“Well…” He grits through his teeth as he’s thinking. “I’ll show you something better,” he announces, determined, as he reaches into the pocket of his hoodie, taking his phone out. You turn your head to look at him, slightly curious despite your state, and when he glances sideways and catches your eyes on him, his lips curl up a bit.
He turns back to his phone though and taps a few times on the screen before sitting closer to you and placing his phone in between you two, so that you could see what it is about. You immediately feel your features softening up when you catch sight of the fluffball on the screen.
“My sister said that she was trying to teach Deulle a trick, but it didn’t quite work out,” Hoyoung explains, smiling, as the video shows his sister’s dog going in circles around a small object that it’s supposed to jump over. The female voice in the video practically begs the dog to just jump, but instead, Deulle stops, staring at its owner, blinking frequently as if it doesn’t understand what’s going on. It’s going on for a few more times with the dog almost jumping over the object once, but in the end, it just decides to lie down on the grass, completely exhausted.
By the end of the video, there’s an evident smile in the corner of your lips, and seeing that, Hoyoung’s shoulders drop in ease.
“You’re too nice,” you blurt out, touched by the way he came over to cheer you up despite him having an exam a bit later. “You’re too good for me,” you admit, letting the words slip without thinking twice. It’s true though; ever since you’ve met him, you feel like you don’t deserve him, and in moments like this, you feel it even more intensively.
“Don’t say that,” the boy objects immediately, turning towards you with his whole body. Since he has scooted closer to you, so that you could look at his phone from up close, you two are pretty close to each other, but instead of intimidating, his closeness makes you feel comforted. To know that he’s just an arm length away. “You’ve also been there for me every time I was down in the past few months. It’s what people do when they care about each other,” he explains as if it was something so easy to say out loud, but he seems sincere nevertheless.
You don’t say anything, your heart is too burdened for that, so you just keep looking at him. He scoots a bit closer to you, slowly and gently, leaning closer to look you in the eyes. You feel bashful under his stare, but you don’t dare to look away.
“What is it about?” Hoyoung asks gently, his words barely a whisper. With no one around you since you’re sitting on the staircase leading up to the staff room, you feel like this moment is yours only. Something so precious yet so fragile, something that could easily break into tiny little pieces in a matter of seconds. “Do you feel this way because you might have failed your test, and you think you could appear less of a good person to me because of that?”
“I-” You start to protest, but you can’t find the right words to say. You look away, frustrated over not being able to put your feelings into words, but when you look back at him, he’s looking at you as patient as ever. “I think I just feel like… you know, there must have been something wrong with me, some flaws why people I liked in the past didn’t like me back, and I guess, I don’t know… It just crossed my mind that maybe one day you would see that too because I do that. When one thing goes wrong, I overcatastrophise and feel that everything could go wrong and I just… Gosh, that’s why I like being alone at times like this,” you rumble on and on, and by the end, you feel yourself tearing up, and you feel so pathetic, it’s not how you’ve expected this day to go.
You sniffle as you look away from him, not being able to bear his ever so warm eyes. You hate being vulnerable beside others, and it’s not like failing a test is a really big thing. Sure, it might be your first time failing an exam, but there are people out there with bigger problems, and you feel like a fraud mopping over your life in comparison to that. Plus, just as you’ve said, when this happens, suddenly you feel like a failure, someone who can’t do anything, who’s not worth anything, and a lot of times, a good cry helps to soothe your nerves, but you don’t want to cry in front of him. You don’t want to appear silly and overly emotional.
“I could bring up some theories and tell you how what you’re feeling is completely fine because I guess that’s what a Sociology major should do,” he interrupts your guilt tripping train of thoughts, and it works, you’re so surprised by his words that you find yourself completely frozen, the tears not coming out. He really has a way to shift the mood with his words, and you’re both in awe and in shock. “Let me tell you instead that if someone doesn’t like you because you’re flawed just as we all are, then you’re better off without them. It won’t stop me from liking you though.”
Now you’re even more surprised than before, and your eyes must be super wide when you turn your head towards him because his facial expression turns from stern to gentle instead. He looks away for a bit, scratching the back of his neck a bit sheepishly before looking back at you, ruffling his hair afterwards. You’ve noticed that he tends to do something with his hands when he gets nervous, and he’s trying to busy his hands today too, and you wonder just how much it must have taken him to say those words out loud. This time, it’s not the moon you see in his eyes but your own tiny reflection, and you also wonder how he really sees you.
“I’m being sincere,” he adds quietly yet confidently. He gulps once before he continues, and you can literally feel the same kind of nervousness he does, your heart threatening to jump out of your rib cage, so expectant and so giddy. “I like you, and I was trying to tell you for some time, but I guess I’ve waited for the right time, and this is definitely not the right time, not even the right place,” he points out sheepishly as he looks around once, and it’s so true, you find a small giggle bubbling up in your throat. He follows, and gosh, it’s so awkward yet it’s so right. You wouldn’t have had it another way.
“Thank you,” you say as you crush him into a hug, feeling bold and confident and all that. You aren’t even sure that it’s you anymore, but he has just confessed that he likes you! He actually likes you. “Thank you for liking me back,” you mumble into his neck as you’re hugging him, and you can feel his arms coming up to your back, closing his arms around you, tight and safe, comforting and warm as if he was trying to whisper it’s all okay, he’s right there with you.
Even though you could only hope that he would be right when he said that the right one would like you back, now you know that he wasn’t lying. Let you be silly or overly emotional, he doesn’t seem to care. If anything, his love towards you just grows even more.
Because he’s the right one for you. Now you know.

Chapter 1
As you were walking down the hall in university someone tripped you. You look up with big y/e/c eyes you see Kiera Alvarez looking down at you with a sneer and her beedy black eyes “Watch where you going fatty why you such in a hurry you’ve got no social life or bf. I mean who would date you not even a blind man always wearing those baggy clothes ugh you give me the ick” she flips her long black shiny hair over her shoulder.
You get up dust yourself and you’re about to respond when a hand comes down on your shoulder and you know who it is before you even turn. Your best Friend Peter Freaking Parker best friends since kids ever since you punched that kid in kindergarten because he was bullying Peter since then you and Peter have been inseparable since.
Peter “Any man would be lucky to have Y/N just because your vag slaps together every time you walk because everyone’s been there and done that doesn’t mean Y/N isn’t a catch you’re just jealous because worth ten of you”
Keira sneered at the dynamic duo she was jealous because she had been trying to get with Peter for ages but he wouldn’t touch her because of how she interacted with other people and how awful and vicious she was to you. Peter just smiled at her and that seemed to annoy her further she looked at you “how’s your brother Y/N still useless as usual” the colour from your drained instantly your jaw dropped your brother was in a coma fighting for his life after he was shot one to the upper chest and two in his stomach that six months ago you and Matthew and Peter were the three musketeers but that day changed your life forever you lost your brother and one of your protectors. Anger sparked in yours eyes like a raging fire next minute you balled your fist and threw your right hook at Kiera’s face and heard a crunch as your fist made contact with her nose she yelped and knocked her flat on her ass people gasped and whispered as the argument had attracted attention.
Kiera looked up at you with wide eyes you were the nice girl the sweet, innocent, shy but never ever mention your family or Peter in a bad way cause you would rain hell fire down anyones ass. “You fucking stupid fat bitch” Kiera shrieked almost like a dying animal you were standing there with eyes still blazing with anger Peter just looked at you then to Kiera then back to you again jaw dropped and eyes wide then he came back down to Earth and he started laughing until tears streaming down his face “oh my god Y/N you’re my hero” and he looked to Kiera who was still sitting down “close your mouth honey we all know that mouth isn’t good for anything” you leaned down to Kiera you were scary when you were mad which is rarely never but you had it with Kiera’s bs she’s been tormenting you for years ever since Peter turned her down just before prom and went with you instead. “Keep my brothers name out your filthy mouth before I take this to the head of campus and report you about your vicious, vile and vulgar behaviour because I have proof stay away from me unless you want this fat ugly stupid bitch to lay your ass out on the ground again” you spoke with such a calm voice Peter looked at you with pride clear across his face you turned and walked away people where looking at you with wide eye and shocked expressions.
Peter caught up with you and exclaimed “ holy crap you were amazing Y/N honestly all hail Y/N Goddess of bravery and sweetness” you blushed “Well at least it’s graduation today I finally get my bakery degree and you get your bio chemistry degree” you said with excitement clear in you’re voice yup you were baker and you worked your ass off for this. You both walked down to your lockers and took out your dress and graduation gown and your vanity bag. “Hey Pete I’m gonna get changed meet you down there save me a seat” he nodded “Will do don’t be late or Aunt May will kill me” you smiled Aunt may took you in since your brother got shot and you had no other family they were all dead your mum and dad were killed in accident and your grandparents died years ago and your parent didn’t have siblings so it was just you and Matt and Pete for a while.
You stepped out of the changing room with your Y/H/C hair done in waves you had on a lovely burgundy dress with mesh sleeves and mesh it accented your curves giving you a very nice figure you had on silver glittery kitten heels over the top of your dress you had your graduation gown and cap on, your make up wasn’t too heavy just light foundation and powered and some smokey burgundy and silver eye shadow with peach lip gloss.
You made your way into the graduation hall you seen Pete and made your way over. After the really long and boring speech names were being called to get their diplomas your name was called “Y/N Y/L/N” you smiled and accepted your diploma you got highest grade and perfect scores on your practical and theory work so you received a medal and and a trophy you smiled as people whooped and cheered. “Peter Parker” he smiled you whooped and cheered him on as well as others from his class he also got the highest award ( I have no clue what the awards for university but I’m just writing them in) he went back to his seat.
After the graduation ceremony you were standing with Peter and Aunt May when a dark haired man in a tailored Tom Ford suit and a goatee and blue sunglasses with two men behind in black suits and dark shades “Hi my name is Tony Stark I’m sure you’ve heard of me I would personally like to offer you an intern ship for bio engineering” Peters jaw dropped Aunt May had the biggest grin on her face she looked like the Cheshire Cat from Alice in wonderland you raised an eyebrow “what’s in it for hi” you questioned he turned to you and gave you a once over and he smirked you smiled sweetly back “Hi sweetheart I’m just offering him an internship” you were not impressed you wanted the best for Pete “But what’s in it for Peter I mean what are the benefits working for you when he could go somewhere get a full intern ship expenses paid for and accommodation plus a good salary what’s stopping him from going somewhere else ” he looked amazed and then he smirked “ you’re quite the fire cracker aren’t you sweetheart looking all sweet and innocent but yes those will be provided and he’ll be offered a place in Stark tower to live” your eyes widened and you looked to Peter he smiled this what you and him do making sure you both get the best for each other Peter turned to Stark “Mr Stark this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I accept” Tony genuinely smiled “I’m glad kid welcome to the Avengers you’ll start next Monday pack your bags kid you’re going to Brooklyn” Peter and Tony shook hand and he gave Aunt May a flirtatious grin and he turned to you “see ya sweets ” he walked away You and Peter started jumping up and down.
Few hours later you Pete and Aunt May walked into the small apartment Pete started packing and you were helping Tony texted Pete told him a private car would in front in an hour and to make sure he had everything he packed all clothes and toiletries next was sentimental stuff like the seashell photo frame that you made with the seashell you made with the seashells that you and Pete collected over the years you and him were 13 when that photo it was one that your parents took a week before they died a week before you started living with Aunt May. You wiped your tears as you were bringing the last of Peters bag to the car you looked at him all teary eyed Aunt May was hugging him tightly she finally let go and said “ your parents would be so proud Pete” he nodded with tears in his eyes you’re eyes connected you ran into his arms hugged him so tight “I’m gonna miss you and don’t you forget about me even when you’re rich and famous” he leaned back slightly looked down at you and smiled “ I could never forget you Y/N I promise once I’m settled and get things going I’ll get a nice apartment and you come live with me you can start your own bakery we will be the dynamic duo again” he said tearily you nodded and he waved and go in the car he rolled down the window and waved as the car turned and he was out sight.

Loud music and hard of hearing conspiracy
~~~
An Unidentified Flying Ship one shot
~~~
The music was blaring loudly but from the hallway at least it was a little muffled. Not entirely, Wes could still pick out the words to whatever awful pop song was playing if he focused but it was muted enough that he could at least ignore it.
How did I end up here?
A week ago everything had been fine, normal. Then everything went downhill.
It started when everyone was getting hyped about prom because it was only a week away. What was once an occasional subject that was mentioned once or twice in conversation quickly dominated the forefront of everyone's minds.
Of course with it came everyone talking about dates and Wes had rolled his eyes at the relationship drama that would proceed the school dance.
"What about you Wes?" His twin brother Kyle had asked.
Wes at the time was glaring at Fenton from across the cafeteria, totally zoned out from the world around him and whatever conversation was going on at the table but his brother's question had reeled him back in.
He blinked, turning his attention to Kyle who sat beside him "What about what?"
"Are you going with someone to prom?" One of the others at the table asked. Oh so the conversation had drifted there.
Before Wes could answer no, he was going to be too busy trying to gather evidence to expose Fenton someone else at the table went "I'm pretty sure he wants to ask Fenton to prom"
Wes' brain blue screened for a moment but when he saw everyone at the table nodding he was immediately snapped out of his stupor "wha- NO! Of course not! Why would you even think!?" Wes fumbled but then Kyle put his hand on Wes' shoulder.
"Bro, no offence but we all know you have a crush on Fenton and that you're just using your conspiracy theories as an excuse" Kyle said while looking at Wes sympathetically.
"I don't- I'm not using anything as an excuse, Fenton is Phantom! How can you guys not see it!?" Wes said, he was pointedly ignoring the heat he felt rush to his cheeks.
Another person at their table just shook their head in pity "Oh you poor thing, still in denial about your feelings. You know well still accept you no matter your sexuality right Wes?" They said and Wes heard his brother mumble something about how sad it was Wes thought ghosts were real.
At this point Wes was left completely speechless at the way all his friends seemed to agree with the outrageous notion that he had a crush on Danny Fenton. A crush.
Wes just stood up and walked away with his tray of half eaten slop. He could hear his friends sighing over how hopeless and oblivious he was.
It didn't stop there though.
Later that day at home Kyle, Wes and their older brother Easton were in the living room together quietly doing their own things. Kyle doing some homework, Easton texting someone and Wes looking over all the pictures he had gotten of Phantom after the fight earlier that day, unfortunately all were too blurry to make out anything Wes could actually use as evidence.
Then Kyle broke the comfortable silence.
"Hey Easton, you think you can give Wes some advice for asking his crush to prom?" Kyle asked, not even looking up from the algebra equation he was doing.
If Wes had been drinking anything he would've done a spit take, instead he settled for just staring at his brother in growing horror.
"Hmm? Crush? Oh you mean Jazz's younger brother?" Easton asked as he looked up from his phone. Wes already knew that Easton was good friends with Jazz Fenton but he became even more horrified by the fact that he had immediately connect the 'crush' Kyle had mentioned to Danny Fenton.
Kyle just nodded and Wes was still too shocked to say anything as he looked between his brothers.
"Well, you can never go wrong with chocolates and just straight up asking" Easton said with a shrug before looking back down at his phone.
Finally Wes regained he ability to speak "NO! I don't have a crush on Fenton!" Wes exclaimed.
"Wes you shouldn't be embarrassed to ask for help. I'm your brother, you can't really hide the fact that you have a huge crush on Fenton from me" Easton said simply and some part of Wes was thankful that neither of his brothers are currently looking at him because he knew his face was probably almost as red as his hair.
The larger part of Wes though was shocked and horrified by what his brother had just said.
Not for the first time that day Wes just got up and left without another word.
The rest of the week didn't fair any better.
Anytime Wes inforned his brothers or friends that he was going to tail Fenton to finally expose that he was Phantom they just rolled their eyes before going "Are you finally going to ask him to prom?" And everytime without fail Wes would turn bright red before stomping off in whatever direction Fenton had ran off to, muttering under his breath about how he did NOT have a crush on Fenton.
Finally, Friday he snapped.
"WHY!? Why does everyone think I have a crush on Fenton!? I thought it was obvious that I hate him!" Wes yelled after Kyle had off handedly asked if he had asked Fenton to prom yet.
"Duh, it's because you're pretty much infatuated with him" Kyle stated like it was obvious.
"I'm NOT infatuated!" Wes said.
"Then what do you have to say about all those pictures you take of him? Or following him and his friends around? The fact that you have an entire notebook filled with little facts about him that no one else would care to notice?" Kyle pointed out.
"That's all evidence! It's me trying to expose that he is really Phantom!" Wes argued.
"Uh huh. Keep telling yourself that but you can't live in denial forever bro. I mean why would you need to keep a catalogue of his interests or have so many photos of him just being normal and not at all 'ghostly' " Kyle said while making air quotes "that stuff can't be used as evidence so why still keep it?"
"Because! Be... because..." Wes stopped. Why did he keep all of those things? They weren't particularly helpful in exposing Fenton so why?
"It's cause you like-like him. Prom is tomorrow so I'm sorry to say your denial made you miss your chance to ask him out" Kyle said while patting Wes on the back.
Wes once again stood from the couch and walk away, up to his room and slammed the door behind him.
He spent the whole rest of the day just laying on his bed, staring at his ceiling. He went to prom the next day because some of his friends insisted he couldn't miss it.
For most of the night he had felt numb, especially as he watched people dance and talk and laugh together while he practically glued himself to the wall.
Then he spotted Fenton and Wes was hit again with his brothers words 'it's because you're pretty much infatuated with him'.
Wes hated to admit it but Fenton actually looked good. He wore a white dress shirt with a dark green bow tie and black slacks. It was simple but he pulled it off quite well and Wes couldn't help but notice how the flashing lights of the gym reflected off of Danny's ice blue eyes. How the constantly changing angle of the light highlighted his face a hundred different ways and none of them looked unflattering, at least not to Wes.
The music was loud, he could barely hear people standing right next to him so of course Wes couldn't hear what Danny and Sam were talking about on the other side of gym but Danny seemed to laugh at something she said and Wes couldn't tear his eyes away. He could almost imagine the laugh in his head, light and easy becoming a soft chuckle towards the end.
Wes looked down at the plastic cup full of punch he held in his hand. He could practically smell that someone had spiked it.
He soon found himself stumbling out of the gym because everything was so bright and loud and he needed more space between himself and Danny, definitely more than just a gymnasium's length at least until he figured out why the heck he felt his face flush when he thought about Danny's laugh.
So that's how Wes ended up sitting on the cool tile floors of the school's empty hallway. The lights were off so it was dark but the smallest bit of light poured in through the high up windows front the street lamps outside so it wasnt pitch black, even if it was hard to make out any details of his surroundings.
He didn't know how long he sat there staring at the swirling cup of liquid in his hands.
Eventually he noticed movement out of the corner of his eye and he didn't need to lift his head to know it was Danny.
"Hey Wes" Danny's familiar voice echoed a little in the empty hallway, it wasn't the same kind of echo that his voice gained when he was Phantom Wes absentmindedly noted. He heard Danny sit down next to him on the cool tile floor.
"What brings you out here? Would've thought you'd be in the gym with your friends" Danny said.
Wes jostled the cup a little with his hand before gesturing to it "I think someone spiked the punch" Wes said instead of giving a straight answer to Danny's question.
"Oh? Good thing I was never a fan of punch. You good?" Wes could've sworn he heard actual concern leak into Danny's voice.
"Yeah, I only took a few sips" Wes shrugged and he leaned backwards against the metal lockers that lined the walls.
"What about you? Why're you out here?" Wes could now see Danny in his peripheral vision quite well. His legs were spread out straight infront of him unlike how Wes had his knees tucked against his chest. He also seemed to be leaning against the lockers behind them, looking relaxed against the cool metal.
"Technus decided to try and take over the DJ booth. I managed to stop him pretty quickly but I needed a breather so I came out here" Danny said, making a vague gesture with his hand.
"Hmm" Was Wes' only reply. The source of all his troubles, both old and new was sitting right next to him and they were holding a proper conversation like real people. No threats of exposing identities, no witty banter or mocking remarks.
To someone who didn't know any better it would almost seem like they were on civil terms with eachother.
What kind of terms are we on?
They weren't friends, not by a long shot. But enemies seemed too strong a word now that Wes thought about it. It wasn't like they were physically hurting eachother like Danny's other enemies. It was less literal battling and more metaphorical and figurative battling.
But after tonight would I even be able to do that anymore?
Wes couldn't just ignore the revelation forced upon him. He wasn't one for ignoring the obvious and when Kyle presented the evidence he had to admit his feelings were a tad obvious.
A comfortable silence was now between the two and Wes turned his head to look at Danny directly. His breath caught in his throat.
Danny was completely relaxed leaning against the lockers behind him. His hair was slightly disheveled, more so than usual. His eyes were closed and he had a faint smile on his face. The dim light shining in made his pale skin look like it was glowing, giving him an ethereal look. Wes was pretty sure that he could only glow in ghost form but that didn't stop the way the light reflected to make it seem otherwise. Wes also became hyper aware of the fact that they were sitting very close to eachother, if he leaned to the side a bit they would be brushing shoulders.
'Yeah, super obvious' Wes thought as he felt a blush find it's way onto his cheeks.
Wes managed to pry his eyes away and looked back down at his cup of spiked punch.
"Screw it" he mumbled before downing the whole thing.
"Hmm? What was that?" Danny asked as he peeked an eye open.
"Screw it" Wes said louder as he grabbed Danny by his collar and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
Danny froze in place as Wes pulled back. The blush stood out against Danny's pale skin and Wes knew he was probably as red as tomato as he spoke "Wanna go dance? With me?" Wes asked cautiously.
Danny blinked before a doppy smile found it's way onto his face "Yeah, sure" he said.
Wes pushed himself up and held out a hand which Danny took without a moment's hesitation.

4:01 PM
Dean sips his whiskey and glowers across the bar at his own reflection. His wrist is burning like a brand, but it’s probably all in his head. The stupid timers don’t cause physical pain when they reach T-minus zero, Houston we have a problem. The numbers freeze, and that’s that.
Dean’s had counted down to nothing at exactly 4:01 PM, fifteen minutes ago. Fifteen minutes of running into his soulmate, getting his number, continuing on his way to this bar, and telling the bartender to keep ‘em coming.
He refuses to look at the far corner of the room, the booth he had reserved like an idiot. Four PM, party of two, under the name Winchester.
On the bar by his glass, his phone is still lit up with Cas’s texts from the past hour.
Cas 3:11 I’m so sorry I have to move our appointment. My client just unexpectedly switched our time to 4pm.
Cas 3:21 I think I’ll be able to escape by 4:30. Can I meet you then?
Dean had responded with a thumbs-up emoji. He didn’t have it in him to say any more.
Cas 3:50 This city is impossible to navigate. How does anyone live here?
Cas 3:58 You were right, I should have rented a car.
Three minutes after Cas’s last text, Dean ran into his soulmate. Right on schedule.
As far as first meetings go, it hadn’t been as much of a shitshow as Dean had expected.
The dude was attractive, at least, and the first thing he did after bumping into Dean was apologize. But he was wearing a tailored suit and glued to his phone, so it definitely could have been better.
His soulmate would’ve run off none the wiser, except Dean had to blurt, “Wait!” because, despite his disappointment, Dean couldn’t let his soulmate disappear into the throngs of Michigan Avenue. Dean wasn't about to fall to one knee, but he also couldn't let his best shot just go.
The man stopped, irritated. His gaze refused to linger on Dean, instead fixating on a building at the end of the block.
Head swimming with too many thoughts to name, Dean couldn’t get the right words out. He gestured mutely to his wrist, pulling up the flannel to show him.
Eyes widening with understanding, his soulmate quickly tugged up the cuff of his sleeve, only sparing a second to verify his own timer stopped. “I’m sorry, I didn’t even notice.” he said, distracted. “My name is James. Here,” he fished out a pen and something to write on from various pockets of his trench coat, “my number. We… should talk. Later.” He scowled, raising his other wrist to check at his watch. “I need to go.”
“Sure, man,” Dean said, mostly grateful he didn’t have to stick around and have some heart-to-heart with a stranger that was apparently meant for him. Whatever the fuck that actually meant.
“Thank you,” James said swiftly. Without another word, he took off back down the street.
Dean didn’t bother to watch him go. He had a barstool waiting with his name on it.
Sam will laugh himself silly once Dean tells him his perfect match wound up being some corporate suit. Dean once told him he’d rather microwave his own head than set foot in an office cubicle.
Sammy was the big soulmate skeptic in the family. He found his non-timer approved other half while he was protesting an illegal dismissal of a disabled employee. Three years later, when Sam bumped into Gabriel Crawford in a strip club at midnight on Dean’s birthday, he discovered Gabe was perfectly happy to let Sam live his apple pie life while Gabe continued to party like it was 1999.
Gabe made Sam promise to look him up if Eileen was ever down for a threesome.
Turned out, Eileen was.
Sam most certainly was not.
He still sends Gabe a card for the holidays, and usually Gabe sends him back candy samples from wherever he’s vacationing for the winter.
But everyone else Dean knew bought into the soulmates game, hook, line, and sinker. His parents were soulmates. Benny and Garth both settled down with theirs. Charlie and Aaron were holding out for theirs. Hell, even Jo had her weird thing with Bela Talbot.
Dean would’ve counted himself among their number - until he met Cas.
Well, until Cas messaged him on Bobby’s new ask-a-mechanic feature on the garage’s website. Cas had inherited a banged up 1967 Mustang and had no idea where to start with restoration. Apparently Gabe of all people was staying with Cas at his place in southern California, and he recommended Dean.
Why Cas couldn’t just look up a local place still baffles Dean to this day, but he has never been more grateful for Cas’s weird-ass logic.
Their relationship had stayed strictly professional until Cas’s actual car broke down on some random highway in California. Dean had tried to talk Cas through the repair himself, but it was no use. Cas either didn’t have the equipment for the fix, or Dean didn’t diagnose the right problem. Dean was about to hang up, when Cas had asked, clearly embarrassed, “Would you please stay on the line? I have this irrational fear of being murdered in the middle of nowhere where nobody can find my body for proper rites.”
Dean, almost surprising himself, didn’t laugh. Instead, he said, “Sure thing. Wanna put me on hold while you get in touch with Triple A?”
He spent an hour and a half on the phone with Cas, telling him stupid stories about the worst things people have done with their cars.
In return, Cas told him all about the stars that were just coming out in the darkening desert sky.
The week after, Bobby’s garage received a gift certificate in the mail. It was for a weeklong stay at the Chicago location of the five-star hotel chain Cas works for, in Dean’s name.
Those little chocolates on the pillows ruined Dean for motels everywhere.
At the bar, Dean signals the bartender for a refill. He glares down at his phone. The little rectangle contains his entire history with Cas, call logs, text receipts, everything.
He can’t look at it any longer. He shoves it in his pocket, and the receipt with his soulmate’s phone number crinkles in protest. With a sigh, Dean takes out the flimsy piece of paper.
James’s handwriting is neat, so Dean doesn’t even have the excuse of not being able to read a digit or two.
Maybe Dean will give him a call after his drink with Cas. Hopefully, once James finds out that Dean’s just a mechanic, lives in a shoebox apartment in Bucktown, and has never been to Aspen or the Alps, he’ll tell Dean to take a hike.
Dean flips the receipt over, and his stomach gives a sickening lurch. In pretentious curlicue lettering, the first words Dean reads are, The Nine Spheres.
James is staying at Cas’s hotel.
Fucking great. Dean crumples the receipt and shoves it back in his pocket. With his luck, James will probably want to meet in the restaurant on the first floor, the fancy-ass place with the steakhouse burger and truffle fries Dean would actually sell his soul for.
Dean actually dreamed about that burger, a few months after his Cas-sponsored stay. When he told Cas about it, Cas let out a bark of laughter.
In the next breath, though, he told Dean he does the same when he’s scoping out a new location and can’t stay at a nearby Nine Spheres.
Dean tips back his glass of whiskey. It’s stopped burning on the way down his throat, a good sign.
He was so stupid, thinking he could fuck with destiny, fate, or whatever shitty power up there decides soulmates.
Once Cas told him about his business trip to his neck of the woods, Dean had taken one look at the numbers on his arm counting down and did the math. He would meet his soulmate smack dab in the middle of Cas’s window in Chicago.
He could make Cas be his soulmate. Cas never brought up his timer, if it was still ticking, if he’d already met his other half. And Dean, coward that he was, never asked. If he didn’t know for sure, then there was that slim, slim chance that theirs matched up after all.
But no, Cas had to go and switch up their meeting time at the last second, and Dean had run into James instead.
His pocket buzzes with a new text. Mood lower than Cas’s voice register, Dean slides his phone out.
Cas 4:38 My meeting is over. Should I still meet you at the same place?
Dean 4:39 Yeah Hope its okay I got started without you
Cas 4:40 More than okay, considering my scheduling difficulties.
Dean 4:40 See you soon
Dean sighs and drains his glass.
Foot jiggling on the barstool and eyes trained on his hands clasped in front of him, Dean deliberately does not look around as the door opens.
And opens again.
And again.
Confused and irritated, Dean takes another look around. Above the bar, a chalkboard clearly proclaims Happy Hour from 4:30-6:30 PM. Dean ducks his head, scowling into the remains of his drink. He probably overlooked the sign before because of his single-minded quest to get shitfaced like a freshly-dumped senior at prom stuck next to the spiked punch bowl.
His phone obnoxiously tells him it’s 4:43.
That’s just great. Dean hops off the stool, meaning to ask the hostess if anyone’s asked for Winchester, when James pushes open the door.
Dean stops dead in his tracks.
James freezes, his eyes going wide. His trench coat swishes ominously to a stop.
Should Dean turn around? Pretend he didn’t see? Cas is going to be here any second.
Before he can make up his mind, James is walking towards him. “Hello,” he says. “I wasn’t expecting to run into you here.”
Dean swallows. “Me neither,” he says honestly.
James scans the small crowd now gathered around the bar, brow furrowing in concentration. “I’m supposed to be meeting someone.”
Dean lets out a silent exhale of relief. He musters up a weak smile. “No problem, man. I’ll leave you to it.” As he turns back around, James steps up to the hostess stand.
James says, his voice slightly raised to be heard over the din, “I’m a bit late, but is there a reservation for Winchester? For 4:30?”
Dean could not possibly have heard what he thinks he did. But the timing is right - for once. He spins around, practically losing his balance thanks to the booze he already drank.
The hostess scans her sheet of names, shaking her head. “There was a reservation for Winchester at four PM, but that’s it.”
James’s face falls. Shoulders slumping, he pulls out his phone, squinting as the screen lights up. “He said he was here,” he mutters.
He can’t be Cas. That would be crazy - like, dingo ate my baby, crazy.
“Could be at the bar,” the hostess says flippantly, tilting her head to the crowded area. “Most of ‘em don’t check in.”
James’s lips press together. “Thank you,” he says to the hostess, his tone clipped. “I’ll wait there.”
Dean steps in front of him before James can get lost in the throng of people. “I heard you’re lookin’ for me,” he says with a confidence that’s only 99% bullshit.
James blinks. “You?”
“Dean Winchester, at your service,” he says, spreading his arms wide.
“Dean,” he echoes, his gaze raking up and down Dean’s body, drinking him in with his new eyes.
“Gotta say,” Dean drawls as his heart pounds with nerves. Doubt niggles at the back of his mind like an itch he can’t scratch, but he’s already made his memory foam bed. Might as well lie in it. “Cas is the weirdest nickname for James that I’ve ever heard.”
“My full name is James Castiel Novak,” Cas says, flushing. “James - that’s what I go by professionally. My family calls me Castiel.”
Dean can’t hold back his broad grin. “Family, eh?”
Cas’s expression takes a swift dive from embarrassed to mortified. “And friends,” he tacks on. He takes a step closer, staring at Dean’s face in wonder. “But you’re also my soulmate.”
Dean laughs giddily. “Should’ve known you wouldn’t beat around the bush. Not your style.” He jerks his head towards the bar. “I think I see an open seat. You wanna have that talk now?”
Cas hesitates. “Would you like to go to Nine Spheres instead? I’ve had business dinners every evening I’ve been in Chicago so far, and, while the food has been good-”
“It’s not the steakhouse burger?” Dean finishes for him.
The corners of Cas’s mouth turn down into a slight grimace. “Last night, a client treated us to tapas. I woke up starving.”
Dean smiles. “You know I’m always down for that burger.”
“Excellent,” Cas says with relish as he pushes open the door.
They walk onto the street, and it’s almost offensively quiet after the noise of the bar. It’s a balmy Spring evening, the sun still relatively high in the sky.
“You don’t seem disappointed anymore,” Cas says out of nowhere as they reach the end of the block.
So Cas caught on to that, back when they first ran into each other. Dean shrugs. “I just got stood up by the guy I’d specially set up to meet me at 4:01. Wouldn’t you be?”
Cas clears his throat, asking hoarsely, “You wanted it to be me?”
Dean throws him a look. “Why wouldn’t I?”
Cas just shrugs. The light changes, and they step off the curb.
“Were you… disappointed?” Dean asks hesitantly.
Cas lets out a surprised laugh. “Of course not. I didn’t even think - well,” he falters, casting a sidelong look at Dean, “I’m not disappointed. Believe me.”
The automatic doors to Nine Spheres open, hitting them with a burst of perfectly conditioned air. Dean hasn’t stepped foot in the hotel since Cas paid for his stay, but it hasn’t changed one bit. The same tiered giant chandelier glitters overhead. Giant pillars bracket the concierge desk to the left and the enormous staircase to the right that leads up to the second floor rooms. The tiled floor, so polished Dean can practically see his reflection, stretches the length of the lobby.
Dean sticks out like a flannel-wearing sore thumb. “Cas,” he hisses, “hold on. I don’t think I’m dressed right for this place.”
Cas sucks in a breath. “No,” he says as Dean’s heart sinks, “I suppose not.” He jerks his head towards the elevator bay. “Room service?”
Dean blinks.
“I’ve called for the burgers on several occasions at other locations,” Cas assures him. “It tastes as good.”
Was Cas actually trying to convince him to go up to his room? What a dumbass. Dean laughs.
Cas colors, his gaze dropping to the floor. “Forget it,” he mutters. “We don’t-”
“You know, if you invite me up to your room,” Dean cuts him off, “you’re going to have a bitch of a time getting me to leave, right?”
Cas stares at him.
“Dude,” Dean says, “I’ve never stayed anywhere this nice in my life. Between the food, the water pressure, and the robe that felt like I was fucking a cloud, I had enough of a hard time leaving last time.”
“I’m glad,” Cas says stiltedly. “We strive to provide the optimal experience to all our guests.”
Dean rolls his eyes. “’M saying, add you to the mix, and they’re gonna have to drag me out of here, kicking and screaming.”
“And if I don’t want you to leave?” Cas asks in an undertone as he pushes the up button for the elevator.
“Then I guess we don’t have a problem,” Dean says, winking.
Cas’s responding grin falls as the doors close behind them and the elevator starts moving. He shakes his head. “It’s a shame there are cameras in here.”
Dean leans in closer, whispering in his ear, “Doesn’t bother me much. Whaddya say to giving the peeping toms a show, then?”
Cas bites his lip, and this close, Dean can see how his eyes have blown black with want. “I - I can’t.”
It’s like he’s been doused with a bucket of ice water. Dean steps back, shame filling him. That’s fine. He can regroup. Hopefully Cas will be more receptive behind closed doors. It’s not the first time this has happened, anyway.
“Dean, I have to work with these people every day,” Cas hisses, wringing his hands. “The last time an executive got… busy with a coworker in the pool, the mocking didn’t end for weeks. Not to mention her rebuke from upper management.” He throws Dean a desperate look. “I would like for you to be fully clothed by the time you meet my coworkers for the first time.”
Cas is already planning for Dean to meet his people?
The elevator dings, and Cas steps out. “Are you coming?” he asks hesitantly.
“Oh, yeah,” Dean says quickly. As he follows Cas down the maze of rooms, he has to ask, “You were planning on introducing me to your coworkers?”
Cas’s cheeks pink. “Unless you were opposed to it,” he mutters as he stops in front of Room 1518. He sighs, making no move to insert his keycard. Instead, he lifts his head to meet Dean’s gaze squarely. “I’ve put in a transfer request to Chicago.”
“What?”
“It was before I knew you were my soulmate,” Cas says quickly. “I’ve never felt like I fit in in California, and my parents live in Pontiac. The Chicago office is decently large, and, well, I knew you were here,” he says, his voice going quiet near the end. He straightens. “So there were many reasons.”
“You’re staying?” Dean says, his mouth dry.
Cas bobs a nervous nod. “I hope that’s okay.”
Dean grins. “Sure is.”
Cas touches the inside of his wrist, his expression turning almost shy. “Of course, when I first pictured introductions, it was strictly as a friend. I don’t really know anyone else in this city well, and I’ve told you about my difficulty in social situations, so it would’ve been more for moral support than anything else. But after this evening -”
Dean interrupts his rambling. “Are there cameras in the hallway?”
“What- oh,” Cas says, his eyes flicking down to Dean’s lips before back up again. “Yes?” He points. “They’re all the way down there, though, so they can’t -”
Dean cuts him off with a heated kiss.

Like You Could Love Me
So...the Angry Flower Squad was making me SO soft over gifs and @mamirugbee wanted porch fluff with kissing and I remembered that @thedeathdeelers and @missjoolee liked my idea of using this post as a Juke prompt and here we are. I wrote this from 12-2am so it’s quite possibly incoherent and I’m not checking for mistakes until tomorrow so take it for what it is, a late night labor of love. Enjoy! 💜
Julie hadn’t slept for almost 48 hours.
Her school was hosting a Los Feliz High After Dark event for the lower grades who didn’t get to attend prom. It was pitched as being just as exciting as the dance but in practice was known to be little more than a glorified sleepover in the school gym with PTA members for chaperones. Flynn had been determined that that year would be different, and had talked Julie into joining her on the planning committee.
The good news was that Flynn had a real flair for party planning and decorating when she was actually invested (see the difference between the dance they tried to forget and the way she had helped Julie’s dad throw together an epic garage party in less than 24 hours). So by the time Julie and Flynn and the other volunteers were done the gym was fully immersed in a carnival theme full of cute booths filled with potential activities and cute backgrounds to take pictures in front of. It was definitely an improvement over the year before which had been an under the sea theme which had consisted mostly of a few blue streamers and Mr. Weaver walking around in an inflatable Nemo costume.
The bad news was that it had taken a lot longer than they had anticipated and they hadn’t fallen into bed the night before the event until close to 2am. Julie hadn’t been able to sleep even after she slipped into bed next to Flynn and heard her best friend start making the small whistling noises that indicated she was out cold. Julie had been kept up with thoughts of what her bandmates were up to without her and if they had lingered a little longer on what Luke in particular was doing right then, well that wasn’t that surprising.
She loved Alex and Reggie but neither of them had attempted to hold her hand and remarked on their “interesting little relationship” or suddenly developed the ability to touch her and instinctively joined her in reaching out to gently cradle the other’s face.
No, Luke was different, not that she wanted to say that in front of him unless she was sure he felt the same overwhelming feelings she did Oddly enough she was much more concerned about the possibility that he didn’t than she was about the fact that he was still..well, a ghost. It wasn’t that she was unaware that his ghostly status could lead to heartache for her later on, of course she was. It just didn’t seem so important suddenly. After what had happened with her mom, what had almost happened with the guys only a couple of months ago...anything could happen at any time. Tomorrow wasn’t guaranteed anyway so why deny herself happiness now if she could have it? If she could have it. Because that was still the question.
Because Luke obviously liked her but did he like her? That sounded so juvenile but to call it anything else...well, that was really scary. Evil ghosts and the looming possibility of their return had nothing on the insecurity that came with not knowing exactly how the boy you lo...liked felt about you.
So Julie didn’t get much sleep that night, Flynn’s alarm seeming to go off only moments after she finally drifted off. She had dragged through school that day, trying to match Flynn’s excitement for the night’s upcoming festivities though her own enthusiasm had quickly drained out of her altogether along with her energy. In the end it had been as fun a night as it could be with Julie spending most of it in a semi-exhausted haze. She and Flynn had played some of the games they had set up, and danced to the music they both agreed would have been better if it had been either DJ’d by Flynn or performed by Julie’s band, and when Carrie had sneered something about how tacky the theme was even that had been half hearted and without any real bite.
So it was a pretty good night all things considered and Julie was in a good mood despite her complete exhaustion by the time Flynn’s mom dropped her off early the next morning. Ok, so maybe part of her good mood was actually because of her exhausted state by that point as she found herself feeling giddy and her mind had gone sort of pleasantly fuzzy. That was her excuse for how she found herself half-skipping up the path towards her front door, singing to herself.
We create...perfect harmony
“Somebody had a good time.”
Julie’s head snapped up to take in the figure of the boy who leaned against the pillar of the porch in front of her, a small smile bordering on a smirk tugging at his lips.
Luke.
What was he doing there?
Was he waiting for her?
She had to play it cool.
She had to be normal.
She had to not give away all the feelings that had been swirling around inside of her for the last couple of months since they first gained the ability to touch each other whenever they wanted and promptly both became too awkward to touch each other at all.
She had to…
“I missed you,” She blurted.
One of Julie’s hands flew up to cover her mouth as she took the last few steps up onto the porch, trying and failing to ignore the way Luke’s eyes widened even as that vaguely infuriating smirk grew larger.
“I didn’t mean that,” She insisted once her hand had dropped back to her side. “I mean...I didn’t not mean it but...I just meant it would have been fun if you could have come. Any of you. All of you. Um...yeah.”
Luke let her dig herself deeper, waiting until her stream of words had come to a complete stop. When they finally dried up he pushed off of the pillar with one of his signature little bounces, letting his momentum carry him to within a step of where she stood awkwardly on the porch.
“Did someone spike the punch at this dance?” He asked her, amusement clear in his tone.
Julie shook her head a little too fiercely, indignant despite the fact that she couldn’t exactly blame him for suspecting that she was drunk.
She felt a little drunk.
Not that she knew what it was like to be drunk but she was pretty sure it was similar to this.
Not the point.
“It wasn’t a dance it was a school sanctioned slumber party,” She corrected, focusing all of her energy on not slurring her words or otherwise embarrassing herself. “And nobody spiked anything. And actually nobody drinks punch anymore. Just so you know.”
Luke held up both hands as though he were surrendering but that smirk of his was impossible to deny at this point, a fact that both made Julie incredibly irritated and simultaneously fighting the urge to lean up and kiss it right off his stupid face.
Ok, that was not helpful.
“Not a dance, no punch. Got it,” Luke said, his voice just soft enough to keep her annoyance more or less at bay.
“Why are you out here anyway?”
Julie hadn’t meant to ask that but it felt like any filter her brain generally had was long gone at this point.
Luke tilted his head slightly and reached up to scratch at the back of his neck.
“Oh, you know, just taking in the view.”
Julie frowned skeptically.
“Taking in the view?”
“Yeah,” Luke said, gesturing out at the plant filled yard. “Just communing with nature you know? Honestly, I forgot you were even out last night.”
“Oh.”
Julie dipped her head a little so she didn’t have to look directly at Luke as disappointment rushed through her. She was pretty sure she was too tired to keep the evidence of that emotion from being completely visible. She was so frustrated with herself for caring at all. He wasn’t her boyfriend after all. Why would be be waiting for her?
“Julie.”
She reluctantly raised her head to meet Luke’s gaze which was fixed insistently on her. His smirk had fallen away leaving behind a look at once more open and somehow harder to read at the same time.
“I’m kidding,” He told her as he took a half-step closer to her, so close that she had to tilt her head up further to maintain eye contact. “I was waiting for you.”
“Oh,” She said again, very aware that she seemed to have lost the ability to say anything else.
She reached deep down inside and mustered up the strength to pull out one further word.
“Why?”
His eyes somehow managed to soften even more and his voice was oddly breathy when he answered.
“Because I missed you too.”
And Julie knew that the most prudent thing to do was tuck that phrase away as something warm, and happy and precious to examine more closely when she had slept and had the mental prowess to actually determine what it meant for their interesting little relationship.
She knew that.
But she was exhausted not only from lack of sleep but from months spent questioning where they stood. She was happy to hear him say that he had missed her, of course she was. But she also found herself feeling strangely...angry.
How dare he look at her with those big soft eyes and stare at her like that if he wasn’t ever planning on actually putting her out of her misery by telling her how he felt or didn’t feel?
“I wish you wouldn’t look at me like that,” The words burst out of her without her permission.
Luke was clearly taken aback by her words, his eyebrows shooting up his forehead.
“Like what?”
“I don’t know,’ She hesitated, just enough awareness seeping back in to make her realize what a truly stupid thing she was about to say. “Like you could love me.”
She watched as a whole range of emotions rushed over his face too quickly for her to decipher exactly what all of them were.
“Julie…”
“Forget I said anything,” Julie interrupted, turning towards the front door with every intention to flee the situation. “I’m just really tired.”
“Julie!”
He said her name more forcefully that time and she froze. She didn’t turn back to face him though, the pounding in her chest and the heat spreading across her face giving her all the incentive she needed to keep her head facing away.
Luke wasn’t having any of that though.
He reached out to gently tug her back towards him, one hand settling on her cheek while the other rested on her waist.
If she hadn’t been blushing before she certainly was now.
“Do you not want me to look at you like that because...because you don’t feel the same?”
Luke’s voice shook a little as he gave voice to that question, his thumb seeming to stroke across her cheek without his permission.
Julie was reeling, everything feeling surreal and dreamlike anyway because of her lack of sleep but when combined with Luke’s gentle actions it felt more and more unreal. She couldn’t help but remember the last time he had touched her face, how they had clutched at each other thinking it was the only chance they would ever have. Now they had new chances every day and they had been wasting them.
Why had they been wasting them?
“Wait...feel the same as what? Feel the same as who?” She asked as her brain finally caught up with what he had actually said.
He visibly swallowed and she took some comfort in the fact that apparently he was nervous too.
“The same as I feel,” He paused. “About you. I...I love you, Julie. And if that makes you uncomfortable I never have to say it again, ok? But it’s how I feel and I just wanted to say it. Once or whatever.”
“But…” Julie felt a giggle rising up inside of her as exhaustion and the pure absurdity of the moment settled in. “But I love you too.”
Luke’s thumb froze on her face as his eyes lit up with something close to hope.
“You do?”
Julie nodded, the giggle finally bursting out of her only to be met with a grin from Luke so radiant she wished she could capture it in a photo to look at later.
“You love me,” Luke said again as though he needed to confirm beyond any shadow of doubt.
“I love you,” Julie repeated agreeably. “And you love me?”
Luke nodded, bouncing a little on his heels as he somehow managed to step even more into her space.
“I love you.”
“Well…” Julie sighed happily. “Well, that’s great then.”
Luke let out a bark of laughter that probably would have been loud enough to bring her dad to the porch if anyone but her had been able to hear it.
Before she had time to remark on how obnoxiously loud he could be he was crowding her back until she bumped into the pillar he had been leaning against when she got home. The moment her back made contact with its firm surface he was bringing his other hand up until he was cupping both of her cheeks. She barely had time to adjust to that very much welcome sensation before he was lowering his head and aligning his lips with hers, pressing them together in a chaste peck that was still enough to send her heart racing. He started to pull back as if to gauge her reaction but she was having none of that. She had been waiting for this for so long and as previously established she had absolutely none of her usual ability to deny herself what she wanted.
And what she wanted was her hands on Luke Patterson right then.
She reached up and latched one hand on the back of his neck and the other threaded deep into his hair giving it a little tug just because she could. She had been wanting to touch him so badly ever since that night in the garage when she’d almost lost him and she’d been wanting to touch his dumb, messy hair ever since “I’m Luke by the way”. So she did.
He let out a little pleased sound that was cut off when she stretched up to press her mouth back to his, this time with twice as much force and no intention of separating anytime soon. To his credit he took the hint pretty fast, his hands dropping from her face to wrap around her waist tugging her body to press against his as he moved his lips insistently against hers. And wow...that was something, the sensation of almost all of her pressed up against almost all of him.
He wasn’t warm, not exactly, but he wasn’t cold either like she had feared he would be. It was more like his body was mirroring back exactly her own temperature, leaving it hard to determine where one of them began and the other ended when her eyes were closed as they currently were.
Or maybe that was just them.
Maybe it was like that quote she always saw floating around online about souls being made of the same stuff.
When she was well rested and thinking rationally she had always rolled her eyes a bit at stuff like that but now...she was beginning to see the appeal.
Julie massaged absentmindedly at the back of his neck as she drew his lower lip into her mouth, the sound he made in response enough to have her pulling back with a giggle.
“Come back here,” He mumbled, his lips chasing hers even as she turned her face away leaving him to press soft, wet kisses to her cheek.
“Now you sound drunk,” She told him, turning back to face him and looping both arms around his shoulders. “My dad will be up soon and I have no idea how I’d explain...this...when he can’t even see you.”
Luke groaned as he leaned down to rest his forehead against hers.
“You’re right.”
“I’m right,” Julie echoed.
It was true but that didn’t mean she was happy about it.
They stayed like that for another minute or so, just enjoying being this close to each other with nothing to hide. They might have stayed like that longer but Julie suddenly let out a yawn she couldn’t contain directly into Luke’s face.
Luke pulled back sharply but the soft smile that seemed to always be reserved just for her remained in place.
“You need to get some sleep,” He told her firmly.
She wanted to argue but all that came out was another yawn.
Ok, so there was no arguing with that.
“Goodnight,” She told him, suddenly feeling shy as she backed towards the front door wanting to keep him in her sight just a little longer.
Luke gestured around them to the soft light spilling around her yard.
“Good morning,” He corrected with a grin.
Never one to let him have the last word, certainly not when she was too tired to be embarrassed, Julie leapt forward to press one final lingering kiss on his lips, retreating before he could do more than return the pressure.
Julie backed towards the front door, the grin now firmly on her face and a rather dumbstruck one adorning his.
“Band practice later,” She reminded him. “Don’t be late.”
Then she slipped into the house and up to her bed, incredibly tired and pretty sure of exactly  what she would be dreaming of.

Could you maybe write one where Robby or Hawk asks y/n to prom? You don’t have to if you don’t have the time <3
thank you so much for requesting !! this will be my first robby one yayyyy
promposal | robby keene x reader
Tumblr media
warnings: fluff, maybe swearing?, also quite cheesy but i love cheesy
summary: prom season is arriving, and you don’t have a date. but you’re kind of hoping a certain someone will ask you.
word count: 1,516
(this one’s set around season 2 and y/n is in miyagi do with sam, robby, and demetri)
“Ugh, prom. Just another excuse for horny teenagers to publicly grind on each other and dress up all nice for it,” Demetri scoffs as you two pass a promposal on the way to Bio class.
You roll your eyes at him. “You’re always such a pessimist. I think prom is cute,” you argue.
“Of course you think it’s cute, you’re a girl. Girls like dressing up and all that romantic shit. So you’re going?” he asks.
You shrug. “I don’t know, I mean no one’s asked me but maybe I’ll just go with Sam or something. I take it you’re not going?”
“Oh I’m going. I hate it, but it’s still part of the high school experience,” the black haired boy wiggles his fingers at you and you laugh. “What about Robby?”
Your heart flutters at the mention of his name.
You’ve had a crush on Robby ever since you met him when you joined Miyagi Do. His kind eyes and dedication to karate made you fall for him fast. With practice at the dojo everyday, he’s become one of your best friends, along with Sam and Demetri. But you’ve hidden your feelings for him because you’re sure he doesn’t feel the same.
“Um... what about Robby?” you question nervously, wondering if your feelings have been obvious.
“Oh come on, he’s obviously going to ask you to go with him,” Demetri muses, and you two walk into your class.
“I- I don’t know what you’re talking about,” you shake your head, setting your books down on your desk.
Robby has never said anything about prom. He doesn’t even look like the type of guy to go. But you feel yourself hoping that what Demetri is saying is true.
“Oh Y/N, Y/N. Always so oblivious,” he taps your head before going to his own desk and ending the conversation.
Demetri is probably messing with you, but the whole period you zone out, thinking about what prom with Robby would be like.
-
Karate training was cancelled for some reason, so you took the extra time to catch up on your schoolwork at home.
Suddenly, the sound of your ringtone pierces the air, making you jump at the sudden break in silence.
You read the caller ID and it’s Sam. She never really calls you, so you begin to worry that something is wrong.
“Hello?” you answer.
“Y/N! Oh my god, something’s wrong! You need to come to the dojo, like right now!” Sam exclaims, making your chest pound with anxiety.
“Wait what, Sam! What happened?” you frantically sputter. Thousands of scenarios flood your mind all at once. Is there a fire? Did the dojo get trashed again? Is someone dying?
You hear shuffling and whispers on the other side of the phone before Sam blurts, “Just come Y/N! Hurry!”
In a panicked manner, you rush around your room to put on your shoes and get your car keys. Regularly a 15 minute drive, it takes you 5 minutes to get to the dojo. You got a few honks and middle fingers as you stepped heavy on the gas, but the urgency of Sam’s voice made you not care.
You slam your car door shut and run around the front to the backgate. But before you could open it, something covers your eyes and all you could see is black.
You realize that they’re hands from someone behind you and in your frenzied state, your first instinct is to elbow the person’s chest.
After the hit, your eyes are released and you hear a groan from behind you. You turn around in fear to see who you were expecting to be a murderer. But it was Robby Keene on the ground with a pained look on his face.
“Oh my god, Robby what the fuck are you doing? I’m so sorry,” you rush over to where he lays on the floor. He clutches his chest where you hit him and you place your hands over his in worry.
“I was trying to be romantic,” he chuckles, sitting up to face you. He was grinning, even though you just sucker punched him with the sharpest bone in your body.
“W-What? I thought you were a serial killer! What happened, where’s Sam? Is she okay?” you stammer, not even noticing what Robby just said.
“Nothing happened Y/N, calm down. We just needed you to come here,” he rests his hand on your shoulder to calm your panicked breathing, and your cheeks tint pink at his touch.
“I- So- Nothing happened? Why am I here?” you furrowed your eyebrows in confusion. There’s just so many things happening at once and you were kind of expecting a disaster.
Robby stands up and reaches his hand out to where you’re kneeling on the concrete. You take it in yours and feel yourself calm down from the chaos of the last 15 minutes.
“Can I cover your eyes now that you know it’s me?” he laughs, and you nod in confusion.
His fingers place over your eyes once again, blocking all of your vision as he leads you to walk to the backyard. You stumble a few times, but he finally stops your walking once you guys have reached a certain spot.
“Ready?” his voice says close to your ear, making you shiver from his unexpected proximity. He counts down from 3 to 1 before pulling his hands away and freeing your eyes.
You blink a few times to adjust to the brightness of the scene, then you see the beauty in front of you.
Fairy lights are strung around the big tree, lit up just in time for the setting of the sun. The pond holds floating candles that drift delicately around the water and a picnic blanket with food lays on the grass next to it.
The dojo looks nothing like where you guys sweat and train and sometimes bleed. It looks like a fairytale, and your mouth is slightly open at the realization that it’s all for you.
“Robby, what is-” you turn around to where he’s still standing behind you.
You almost want to cry at the view of him holding a bouquet of your favorite flowers. His signature side smile widens at the little gasp you let out when you see him.
“Y/N Y/L/N, will you go to prom with me?”
No way. There’s no way Demetri was right. You stand there frozen at his question, not believing that it’s real. The boy of your dreams, asking you to prom. The boy of your dreams setting all of this up for you.
“Y/N?” his voice snaps you out of your trance, and your confused expression turns into a huge smile.
“Of course. Yes!” you beam, catching him by surprise when you jump into his arms to embrace him. He laughs into your shoulder as you squeeze him tight in appreciation.
-
“I love it all, thank you Robby. You really do know how to make a girl feel special,” you say in between bites of chocolate covered strawberries.
“Well you are special,” he smiles, admiring how cute you look with your cheeks filled with fruit.
“I’m so killing Sam by the way. I really thought I would come here and see a dead body!”
“I’m sorry, it was my idea. Kill me instead,” he chuckles at the recent memory of your worried frenzy.
“I will. But after prom,” you joke and pop another strawberry into your mouth.
After some cute banter and more yummy food that Robby made, you two lay down on the blanket to try and see the stars. The smog of the Valley doesn’t give much of a view, but if you look hard enough it’s there.
The conversation has faded out, and you’re deep in thought. Does this mean he likes you? Are you guys together now? Asking you to prom doesn’t necessarily mean anything.
The question leaves your mouth before you can stop it.
“So... is this a friends going to prom together kind of thing? Or is it a couple going to prom together kind of thing?” you blurt, interrupting the pondering silence between you two.
Yours and his eyes stay stuck on the night sky. He thinks for a moment and you play with your fingers in anticipation.
“It’s up to you... but I like you Y/N. A lot,” he admits, setting fireworks off in your stomach.
All this time, you’ve both had feelings for each other. But you’ve danced around it like it’s a fire pit that can’t be touched. You almost want to laugh in disbelief, because you were so sure that you would keep your heart locked and live forever with longing stares. You thought you would be stuck watching him with someone else because you’d never have the guts to actually say what you feel. But you’re wrong.
Robby’s head is turned towards you now, and you take your eyes off of the stars to look at him. He looks nervous, waiting for your response to his confession.
Instead of talking, you reply with a long awaited kiss.

A new girl arrived in the city, just at the time the war between the dojos was about to come to an end. She was shy and loves the geek universe, and it wasn't long before she met Demetri and became friends with him. He was responsible for telling her the whole story, always making his point of view as a Miyagi-Do student very clear. Thus, it was not difficult for Y/N to have a certain aversion for Cobra Kai and its members.
Still, as soon as her eyes saw Robby Keene for the first time, and all the antipathy became curiosity. He was so handsome with those ocean green eyes and she caught herself thinking how amazing would be his smile. She wanted to get to know him better, to understand his point of view and his life story, the reasons why he got to where he was and the reasons for the decisions he had made.
When the Literature teacher sorted their names so that they could do the task together, they sat side by side and Robby noticed Y/N for the first time. She was beautiful and had a charming smile, but what certainly made him fall in love with her was her kindness and empathy. The fact that Y/N did not judge him for past mistakes, and although she had recently become friends with some members of Miyagi-do and Eagle Fangs, the new girl was willing to hear Robby's side of the whole story and believed in his attempt of redemption.
It was inevitable! The two fell in love and spent the rest of that day talking, either in person or through messages on their cell phones.
Soon there was a first date, and a week later, he asked her to be his girlfriend. She said yes, of course. Y/N was already the person responsible for making Robby want to become a better person. He wanted to deserve to be with her. Some aspects in his life were still not perfect, like his relationship with Johnny, which was still complicated, and his mother who was still in rehab, but having Y/N by his side made things easier, so he promised her an unforgettable prom.
However, after five months of a beautiful and pleasant relationship, Y/N began to act completely different. It was two weeks before the prom, and Robby could barely be with or speak to his own girlfriend. She avoided him, didn't answer his calls, every day there was an excuse for not spending the afternoon together, and she no longer came by surprise at his house with some candy made by herself. That was certainly not the Y/N he knew and loved so much.
And then Robby remembered his relationship with Samantha, and how she hadn't gotten over Miguel even when they were together. Had a love from Y/N ‘s past returned and that was why she was acting that way? Didn't she love him anymore? Had Robby been bothering Y/N so much with his troubled life and then she had grown tired of him and his problems? He couldn't blame her if that were the case, he just wanted her to be honest, and she definitely wasn't being.
As much as she was a sweet and shy girl, Y/N always had strong opinions and knew how to impose herself, so why didn't she break up with him at once if that’s what she wanted? Maybe she was planning to break up with him in front of everyone in the middle of the prom. No, she wouldn't be that cruel. Not the Y/N he knew. Anyway, Robby remembered that horrible feeling of losing someone he loves, and he didn't want to lose Y/N . Thinking about it, he decided to be the best boyfriend he could and that she deserved. Perhaps she was facing some problem that she was not yet ready to share with him, and as a good boyfriend, he should respect and give her all the love and support that was necessary.
He left loving little notes in her locker, but she didn't respond. He bought her favorite chocolate bar and gave it to her during a class, but she just thanked him with a simple smile and put the package in her case. Robby even tried flowers, and showed up at her door with a white rose, which was what he could afford at that moment, but her mother answered the door and said she was not there. He tried to call and text, but she didn't answer.
Robby then decided to open his heart and sent one last voicemail.
“ Ok, I got it that you don't want to answer me, so I will respect your space and leave you alone. But I am worried. And I want you to know that I'm always here if you need me. And I mean it. If you want to chat, watch a Marvel movie or even if you want to punch me in the face, I will be here to take it. I love you. Don't give up on us. ”

The next day, Robby was surprised when Y/N appeared in front of him. Her eyes filled with tears, she just hugged him in silence, to which he immediately reciprocated by holding her close. He closed his eyes to enjoy the moment, and the two of them stayed hugged in the corridor for long minutes. The bell for the first class rang.
“ I'm sorry to be acting like an idiot. I have a problem that I still don't know how to deal with. ”  Y/N said, her voice trembling like she was ready to cry.
“ You know you can count on me for that. ” Robby assured.
“ I know. ”  She whispered, letting some tears drop by her face. Robby holds her hand.  “ I didn’t give up on us. I just hope you don’t either. ”
“ Why would I do that? ”  Robby asked, confused and frowning. It was he who had spent the past two weeks trying to show how much he cared about her. Y/N was the one who was ignoring him.
“ Let's go to class, Robby. The prom is tomorrow and I want to enjoy the day. After that, we can talk about it. ”  Y/N said, kissing his mouth. She took her boyfriend's hand and guided him to the classroom. Even though he wanted to ask, Robby kept his concern to himself and decided to do what she asked.
At least his Y/N was back, and they could enjoy the prom as he had planned.

The next day, Robby let Y/N enjoy her day with her friends. The girlfriend had tol him that she would be with Moon and another girl from her math class. They would take care of nails, skin, hair and the whole spa day that a girl dreams of doing before the prom.
The night was slow to arrive, but as soon as it was on time, Robby showed up at Y/N’s house. His girlfriend went out the door and his mouth opened, in shock with such beauty. Y/N was more beautiful than ever, stunning. It was impossible to stop looking at her, and Robby thought about how jealous he would be to see other guys staring at her. Because, of course, he wouldn't be the only one who found Y/N completely wonderful that night, but he would be the only one who would have her attention and her heart.
“ You look wonderful. You’re the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life. ”  Robby said, eyes shining and pupils dilated. Y/N felt her cheeks blush and expressed the widest, brightest smile possible. Still, there was something saddened about her countenance, that only someone who knew her as well as Robby could notice. However, he said nothing. They had agreed to have fun that night, and he was prepared to make her the happiest and have an unforgettable prom.
“ Thank you, my love. You look as handsome as always. ” Y/N put her hand on Robby's face. “ I love your eyes. Especially when they look at me this way. ”
“ I’ll look at you this way for the rest of my life. Or at least, as long as you want me around. ”  And then he kissed his girlfriend, being careful not to smudge her lipstick.

They arrived at the prom, and as Robby had expected, the two attracted many looks. They were beautiful together, no one could deny that. Y/N held his hand tightly, as if she was afraid something was going to happen, and once again Robby stopped himself from asking anything. This was not the time to bring up the subject, and he had promised that he would wait for the prom to end before they could talk.
He thought she would feel more comfortable if she was around with her friends, so he suggested they stay close to where Moon was. He had to swallow his pride, since his girlfriend's friend was with Hawk. Samantha and Miguel were also around, which made the atmosphere weird, but Y/N seemed to be fine talking with Moon, and Robby would endure whatever it took to make his girl happy that night.
However, his efforts seemed to be in vain. He offered a drink, she didn't want to. He asked what she wanted to do, she said she just wanted to stay there. That was when, finally, the band started playing a song that he loved, and Robby saw the perfect opportunity there.
“ Babe, let’s dance? ”  He asked, and soon he realized that she was going to deny it, he interrupted her.  “ Before you say no, I want you to know that this is one of my favorite songs. And I’d love if you pay attention to the lyrics. It’ll be even more special if you dance with me. ”  Y/N couldn't resist those bright green eyes, and Robby's sweet, passionate smile. She smiled together and held out her hand to him.
The two walked to where the other couples were dancing. Robby put his hands on his girlfriend's waist, and she rested her arms on his shoulders. They were close enough, and as soon as the music started, Keene whispered the lyrics as he looked her in the eye. The words he said along with the song were full of meaning for him.
“ You know I'd fall apart without you
I don't know how you do what you do
'Cause everything that don't make sense about me
Makes sense when I'm with you ”
Robby hummed, and at the same time, her eyes sparkled. A smile could be noticed on Y/N’s lips, and he smiled together when he noticed his girl was happy. He pulled her a little closer and couldn't resist leaving a kiss on the corner of her mouth. The music continued, and as soon as the chorus started, he whispered the lyrics again looking into her eyes.
“ ‘Cause I wanna wrap you up
Wanna kiss your lips
I wanna make you feel wanted
And I wanna call you mine
Wanna hold your hand forever
And never let you forget it
Yeah, I wanna make you feel wanted ”
Y/N’s eyes were full of tears, and she ended up letting one run down her cheek. Robby quickly dried  it with his thumb, keeping the other fingers on his girlfriend's neck. He continued the next part.
“ Anyone can tell you you're pretty
You get that all the time, I know you do ”
Y/N laughed and shook her head negatively when she heard that part, but Robby nodded and they both giggled. She didn’t see herself as pretty girl, but he saw her as the pretties of all.
“ But your beauty's deeper than the make-up
And I wanna show you what I see tonight ”
Robby tried to imitate the singer and the two laughed when the boy went out of tune. The chorus played again, but this time, instead of singing, Keene sealed his lips on his girlfriend's. They continued dancing and kissing until the chorus ended. When their mouths parted, their faces remained close. Their noses were touching, their eyes were open looking at each other, and Robby continued to whisper against the girl's lips.
“ As good as you make me feel
I wanna make you feel better
Better than your fairy tales
Better than your best dreams
You're more than everything I need
You're all I ever wanted ”
And it was at that moment that Y/N could not resist crying and let all tears escape. She was crying compulsively, and Robby didn't know how to react. He filled his girlfriend with kisses, asking her to calm down. Only when she managed to control her own voice did Y/N speak.
“ Robby, this is so beautiful, but… I don’t know if you still gonna think that way after I tell you what I have to say. ”
That was it, Robby thought. It was the end. She would break up with him, maybe confess that she had cheated on him, and he would have his heart broken again. He would be alone once again. Robby sighed and took the courage to ask.
“ Do you wanna break up with me? ”
“ No. But I think you’ll break up with me. ”
“ Y/N, I know I promised that we would talk about it only after the prom, but look at both of us. There is no chance to enjoy this prom that way. Please tell me what's going on. ”  He practically begged.
The girl was panting and her eyes were full of tears. Y/N sighed deeply, searching for a courage within herself that she knew she didn't have at that moment. But she couldn't do that to him anymore. Robby deserved to know what was going on.
“ I’m pregnant. ”  Y/N said, her voice trembling. She held the tears and analyzed him to see his reaction.
Robby froze. He was paralyzed. His green eyes stared at his girlfriend, mouth opened, unable to say anything. It was certainly not the reaction she expected, but he could not have predicted it and could not contain his shock at the news. A whirlwind of thoughts crossed his mind, and Keene remained paralyzed until he saw her crying again. That woke him up to reality. Robby hugged her again. Y/N had started to cry again when she saw his reaction. At that moment, she was sure that their relationship would be over.
“ Is that why you’ve been acting weird in the past few weeks? ”  Robby asked, hugging her. Y/N just nodded.  “ And do you think I would break up with you in a situation like this? You must think that I’m a piece of crap. ”
“ No, babe, that’s not it. ”  She pulled away from the hug and looked him in the eye, worried that he would think she saw him as someone terrible, because she didn’t.  “ It’s just ‘cause… well, you didn’t have a good family structure, and I thought the fact that you’re going to be a dad could scare you. ”
“ Well, I am scared. I cannot lie about that. But, love, that is not your fault. It needs two to get someone pregnant, you know? ”  He joked about it, and both laughed a little.
“ I was so afraid of your reaction, afraid of losing you. I thought things were going to change for the worse between us. That’s why during this week I acted like that, I stayed apart. ”  So Y/N got up the courage and started to vent everything at once. Robby looked her in the eye, listening to her words and feeling the saddest to know that she was feeling that way all those days.   “ I was trying to get used to not having you in my life. And it hurt me every time you did something nice for me, like the little notes on my locker and the chocolate bar. I thought I wouldn’t have that anymore.  ”  And she started crying again.
“ Y/N… How could you ever think that I was going to do something like that? Don’t you believe that I love you? ”
“ I do believe in your love. I’m sorry. I was just so scared. I didn’t want anything to change between us. ”
“ Hey, babe, stop crying. I’d never leave you in any situation. When I told you I loved you, Y/N, I meant it. I’ll always be here for you. ”  Robby assured, and one last tear came out of her eyes. They both smiled at each other and kissed passionately.  “ I always knew that you'd be the mother of my children. Of course, I hoped it would happen later, maybe after college, but it's not my fault that you’re so hot that I can't stop having sex with you. ”  Robby whispered, and Y/N felt her cheeks blushing.
“ Robby Keene! ”  She spoke as if she was angry, but she was smiling.
“ You feeling better? ”
“ Yes, a lot! And you, how are you with the news that you are going to be a daddy? ”
“ Still in shock. It's hard to believe. But I know that I have you by my side. And as I said in the song: You're more than everything I need. You're all I ever wanted. ”
“ I love you, Robby Keene. ”  Her eyes were shining again, almost crying. But she had the brightest smile on her face, so the boyfriend smile as wide as her.
“ Well, I promised you an unforgettable prom. Pretty sure we are never forgetting this night. ”  Both giggled before kissing again.
Robby was sure at that moment that Y/N was the love of his life, and in the future, she would be his wife. The two returned to dance together, hugging each other and enjoying the rest of the dance. They decided to deal with the pregnancy issue later. Many problems would come, the parents' reaction, thinking about how they would afford to survive and what to do with the college. But, as he said, if he had Y/N by his side, then he had all he ever wanted.
