Tsukishima:

the Karasuno boys were getting restless waiting outside for their beloved manager by the bus

and it’s not that Tsukki was super worried… but you’d been missing for a little while now

you weren’t answering his phone calls and Tsukki had a sneaking suspicion that something was wrong

“What’d you do this time, y/n…” he sighs under his breath, making his way back to the gym

he starts his search where he last spotted you, but there’s nobody there

Tsukishima is slightly concerned now, listening out for any voices or noises in case it had anything to do with you

when he reaches the hallway, he recognizes the echo of your voice

“-not interested and I need to find my team, sorry!” your nervous response directed at a bleach-blonde volleyball player… with piercings?

“Come onnn, babe. I just want your number!” Terushima’s hand his now by your head, your back pushed up against the wall

“Oye, back off, asshole.” Tsukki’s voice rings out, still walking his way over to you

Teru only briefly glances at him then immediately turns his attention back to you, stepping closer

you have a panicked look on your face and for the first time in a while, Tsukishima’s chest tightens in empathy which morphs into a muted fury

“I said get off of her.” Tsukki’s hand is on Terushima’s shoulder now, pushing him away from you

“Jeez, okay bro.” Teru responds with a smirk, throwing his hands up, “I was leaving now, anyway.” 

as soon as he’s gone you can finally breathe again

Tsukki turns to ask if you’re okay, but before he gets a word out, your arms are around his back

“Thank you, Tsukki. I’m so sorry you had to see that.”

the shock of your touch fades a little and he slowly wraps his arms around you, a barely noticeable flush on his face

“Stop going off on your own, stupid… and don’t be sorry. You didn’t do anything wrong.”

Oikawa:

it was 30 minutes into practice at the Seijoh school gym and you were a no show

which is incredibly unusual considering you usually arrived before the rest of the team (besides maybe Oikawa, who’s already warmed up)

Oikawa checks with the entire team, asking them if they’d noticed you on their way inside or if you’d said anything about missing practice, but no one has seen or heard from you

luckily, Oikawa keeps tabs on his team, which includes you since you’re their manager (and he kinda-sorta likes you a lot)

so he takes a short break, quickly making his way to your usual hangout spots and checking around corners

it takes him a moment to soak it in, but there are two guys cornering you near your locker

he knows, in most cases, you can handle things by yourself… but this feels so wrong

you’re clearly uncomfortable, uninterested… and once he catches you eye, he can tell you’re scared

before he knows it, Oikawa has already grabbed one of them by the shirt and shoved them away from you

“What the hell is your problem??” he shouts, “Get away from her.”

Oikawa is literally seething at this point, hand gripping even tighter on the boys shirt, threatening to tear the fabric

his friend recognizes Oikawa and knows that the whole school would find out about this if they didn’t leave soon

so they both take off down the halls

he turns around, grasping your hands firmly

“Are you okay, y/n? Are you hurt?”

“I... I’ll be okay.” but he feels you shaking

“Let’s just get out of here then. I’m gonna take you out for a few to get some fresh air if you’re okay with that?” he gently tugs you toward him

“...Yeah. Please.”

this will be the first time he’s missed a practice in years (but he’ll make up for it later in the week)

and right now, his main priority is you. making sure you’re okay and that you can recover peacefully... preferably with an ice cream cone or a cold drink in hand

Iwaizumi:

you and Iwa have shared several classes together over the years and happened to sit next to each other for most of them

so it really isn’t a surprise that y’all have gotten pretty close

he’s actually the reason you became the Seijoh manager in the first place since he’d been complaining to you about how unorganized things were getting on the team without one

unfortunately, being the manager doesn’t just revolve around caring for individual teammates… it also means you have to keep up with their dirty laundry sorry hun

Iwa, since he did drag you into this mess, normally offers to help take the jerseys and clothing  to the laundromat with you

you usually refuse his offer, but for some reason, you let him join you this time around

you and Iwa bring in the first batch of clothing, greeting the laundromat owner, and get everything started

“I’ll head out to the car for the next basket, Iwa!” you tap his shoulder, letting him know where you’re going

“Okay, I’ll be here. Lemme know if you need help.”

he waits a while, but when you don’t return Iwaizumi lets a slight panic set in, hurrying outside to check on you

“Y/n are y-” he stops talking when he notices an absolute sleezebag hitting on you in the parking lot

the stranger is reaching out to grab your arm, but not before a fist collides with the man’s face

Iwaizumi knocks the man to the ground. his fist curl back, fingers digging into his palms, ready to swing at him again

“Get your filthy hands away from her.” he growls out

this sends the creep running, shock setting into your body

and you look over to notice just how tense Iwaizumi’s body is

you gently grasp his wrist with your shaking hands

“You shouldn’t have to come out here by yourself, y/n. I’m coming with you next time.” he says, and you notice a flash of guilt in his eyes as he turns toward you

you just pull him into a hug, releasing your own fear and calming the both of you down

Ushijima:

all of Shiratorizawa’s volleyball team is indebted to you

you’ve traveled with them to every single game, you’ve dealt with so many strange players, and above all, you’ve brought them together, completing their team

so it’s no wonder they hang out with you outside of their volleyball obligations, bc fr they all love you so much and you bring them some much needed normalcy

when you suggest heading to the beach for a day trip, they’re all on board. even Ushijima

you and Ushi usually end up sitting together on the way to any practice games or tournaments so you can plan and prepare together

so you both naturally sit next to each other… but it’s super casual and the conversation is actually fun and chill. relaxed Ushijima is such a nice change of pace

when you all arrive, everyone splits separate ways to get changed

but as you leave the changing room, all cute and beach ready, there’s a guy leaning near the door, outside

“Hey sweetheart, you need some help with that?” he smirks pointing at the sunscreen in your hand

“Uh… no thanks.” you say, starting to squirm under his stare

you attempt to walk away, but he just follows you, so you move faster

Ushijima spots you, noticing that your movements are a bit frantic, so he approaches you

as Ushi finally reaches you, the man runs into him and stumbles backward into the sand, Ushjima’s frame blocking him from you entirely

“Y/n, is he bothering you?” his eyebrows furrowing, looking at you with a tinge of concern

“Because… he really shouldn’t be.” A stone-cold glare overtaking his features

“No, I’m just leaving actually.” The man dusts the sand off his legs and walks away, annoyance (and fear) etched onto his face

you turn to the tall, incredibly attractive ace and thank him profusely, apologizing for the situation

“You’re safe with me, y/n. I won’t let anything happen to you.”

So I feel obligated to tell you another one of my AU ideas. Totally not me trying to sneak in another idea when I already said I would stop for the day

This AU is based off of a fanficion I was recommend by a friend but changed a lot of things to where they were VERY specific. VERY VERY specific so I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense!

I was thinking about making this a fanfic series but ended up not doing it because I can't commit to it lol

This will be a long ask sorry: This also takes place in a little older days but not to old and not proofread

Teru turned to look at Akane as the orange headed man sighed.

"Look- Captain mer-killer, I get it... You hate mermaids because they killed your little brother and mom. But I think- No. I know you fail to realize that we," The prince gestured around with his hand signifying that he was speaking for all the mermaids, "Tried to help them."

Teru shook his head, "No! You drowned them!"

"Ah-ah!" Akane pointed at the childish Yugi twin who seemed to be asking Nene embarrassing things, then to the captain's little brother who was playing tag with Mitsuba and Hanako (It was unfair for the fact that Kou didn't have legs and was just dragging himself around.) "They were destined to die."

"Huh...?" The tall blonde lowered his sword and blinked in confusion.

Akane smiled, "Mhm! They were meant to die. So we tried to turn them to mermaids to protect them, but it happens that your mom," His arms dropped to his side, "Couldn't survive the process of turning..."

"Y-you bastard!"

So Akane is a mermaid. A mermaid prince to be exact. The prince of the sea! THE PRINCE OF ALL... I'll stop now. Because he is of royal blood he has the ability to turn into a human too. Hence how he met Aoi-chan when he was younger. When he was a little boy he swam away from his kingdom because what ever the reason is. He made his way to the surface and lived his life on land, befriending Aoi-chan and growing up with her. Till the sixth grade came around where they were hanging out at the beach. Aoi-chan was telling him stories she heard about mermaids, how beautiful they were, and how.. etc. It was nice. Until Aoi-chan seen some small waves coming in and dragged Akane to go with her in the water. But he can't touch salt water without turning so he and her had a little argument. Then a big wave came in really quick! She ran in the opposite direction and as she turned back to look at Akane she say hands in the water wave, grab onto akane and pull him into it. She's horrified as she sees a mermaid swims away with Akane in tow. Drowning him to death. That mermaid was nothing like it was said to be in her stories. Yes it was beautiful but it had something about it so sinister... That thing killed her best friend!

Teru is part of a family that kills mermaids for their scales and to protect humans (Because mermaids lure in humans to drown in the sea/ocean). His hate for mermaids for the point when they (the mermaids) killed both his mom and little brother. They drown them and ate their flesh (Of course he hadn't seen happen but he knows it). So he was sent out on a mission by his father to go and find the mermaid that murdered them now that he is of age. His crew consist of Yugi Amane (Who hates mermaids because his brother was killed by them), Aoi-chan (Who hates mermaids because they killed her bestfriend), and Mitsuba who was never meant to be on this mission but got carried into it.

Mermaids did not kill Kou or Tsukasa, they actually saved them. They both had a sickness that would kill them at the age of 11 or so. The mermaids did 'catch' them and use magic to turn them into mermaids. But they could only turn them on the day they turn 11. So Amane lost his twin on his birthday and Teru lost his brother on Kou's b-day. By the way Teru and Yugi Amane thought that this would be both of their last birthday. Teru thought that Kou would never turn 12 so he wanted to make this the best birthday ever but instead his little brother ended up being 'killed' (same goes for Amane). His mom was too weak to survive the turning as said above.

That's a little background knowledge.

That's all I thought so far.. I don't know how this was suppose to turn Terukane or what not but hey lol

DISASTEROUS!!! it's AMAZING, and the potential for reference to the actual manga?? top tier!! they could all have the same outlines of their relationship from canon but in the au! with twists but not being too off base????and the AoiKane fight was a fun idea!

Teru seems more vengeance prone and Akane seems more justice and savior type in this au?? which is interesting, and the characters in this au seemed to have a role swap but keeping their main character attributes? which is really fun and hard to pull off!!

and Amane and Teru on the same team with the same motives? hell yeah! that's an awesome input!!

so I AM wondering why Kou couldn't come see his brother, but it'd make sense if only royal blood can turn human and that'd be a hard confrontation, especially knowing Minamoto's don't confront each other....

but I can see why this wasn't fully fleshed out to be a fanfiction because it'd take slow burning and a lot of world building, but it would come out awesome!! definitely a fanfic I'd read, but it would take a long time.

so Kou at the age of 11 had to start and reajust to a completely new life, new people, new city, new hobbies, new house, everything! and it was probably really hard.... so in this au did Tsukasa and Kou stick together and become better friends? despite how much canon Kou hates Tsukasa? because that'd be a crazy swap comparison!

Teru Minamoto. The president of the student council, known for his good looks and a kind personality. Yashiro had woken up from her fantasies and knew that she didn't deserve him, but he'll be the person she'll look up to instead.

The cream haired girl was frustrated about her love life and wanting to get a boyfriend to make her fairytale come true. It's hard being a romantic, that's what you get from reading romance and fantasy novels.

That's where Yashiro dropped her wishes on having a boyfriend due to her having unrequited love and insecurities because of her legs, decided to focus more on studies and friends. Guess what? She failed to do so.

[name] [surname] was a new student, she transferred a month ago and immediately got along with everyone. [name] and Yashiro started to become friends and had a lot in common, making them even closer.

Its not everyday where someone calls you pretty, for Yashiro, its more like a one in a million moment and the compliment was from [name] herself. And Yashiro absolutely adores her for that.

Yashiro glances towards [name] across on where she was sitting. [name] was looking over to the window while her cheek is resting on top of her palm, admiring the falling cherry blossoms during spring. “I'm falling for you everyday...” she whispered under her breath with a pink color tinting her cheeks.

The naivete couldn't stop thinking about her, she just got her first female crush. “[name]... why are you making me flustered...” she murmured against her pillows. Yashiro sighed and slumped her shoulders with a flustered look on her face. She was too in love for [name] its driving her crazy. Who knew a girl who dreamed about a prince giving her a romantic fantasy dream would fall for a pretty and kind girl?

If only she was a guy, she blamed fate for being a girl who had fallen head over heels in love for [name]. Yet she feared a lot of things: What would [name] think about her sexuality and knew that she likes her? What if she starts to avoid her for it? It will be another rejection for Yashiro if that happened.

“Hey Aoi...” Yashiro held the phone near her ear, her hands slightly shaking because of nervousness. “There is something I want to tell you, please don't judge me for it...”

“You know you can tell me anything, Nene-chan.” Aoi assured her friend. Yashiro inhaled deeply, her cheeks warming up just by thinking about [name]. She was straight from the beginning yet she never saw it coming when she starts to fall for [name]. “So what is it you want to tell me?”

“There is someone I like...” Yashiro can feel herself getting hotter and hotter. ‘I never felt this gay towards someone, I swear...’

Aoi suddenly became excited and squealed slightly at her friend, she's a sucker for anything related to romance, she even fangirls in Yashiro's love life. “Was he an upperclassmen? Is he from another class or is he in our class?!”

Then, Yashiro finally told her. “Its from our class...” she paused to lick her lips and looked down on her feet, embarrassed that she's going to come out to Aoi. “And it's a her...”

“Kyaaa~!” Aoi squealed from the other line. Yashiro stopped from talking all of a sudden. “You're in love with [name]-chan? That's wonderful!”

“Y-You're okay with it?” Yashiro asked for confirmation, making sure that Aoi wasn't joking about it.

“Of course Nene-chan.” Aoi gleefully replies. “What do you like about [name]-chan?”

“She's very pretty Aoi...” Yashiro laid down on the bed and covered her eyes using the back of her arm. “Other than being pretty, she's kind, sweet and soft. There are times that I wished that she was my girlfriend but somehow I think it's impossible...”

“I don't even know if she likes girls...” Yashiro laughs bitterly. “Even if she does, she wouldn't like me back...”

Day by day, Yashiro's crush for [name] continued to grow. With her blushing and her heart racing whenever [name] comes around. She also seeks advice from Hanako on how to win [name]'s heart, he was weirded out on how Yashiro came from liking guys to girls but he shrugged it off and helped her.

Their first method was her sneaking flowers and letters inside [name]'s locker. Yashiro filled her letters with her adoration and love for [name], unbeknownst to herself that a certain someone sneaked behind her. “Yashiro-chan~!”

“Gyah!” Yashiro jolted up in surprise, turning around and saw that [name] was grinning sheepishly. The cream haired girl stopped all of a sudden, her heart started to race and her cheeks turning red. “[n-name]-chan?!”

“Ah, I didn't mean to startle you!” [name] stepped back and swatting her hands. Cute. Yashiro thought to herself, staring at her even more.

‘Nene, you're too in love with this cutie—I mean person!’ Yashiro yelled inside her mind. [name] tilted her head and smiled, giving her a slight wave before walking off. ‘What should I do?’

Should she confess to [name]? Would this affect their friendship after that? Yashiro lifted her head and looked at the cherry blossom tree across the window, at that moment she had her decision.

‘I'm going to confess to [name]!’

[name] was hiding behind the wall, clenching her chest as she sneaked glances from Yashiro who was talking to Aoi in a rushed manner. [name] smiled before leaving her hiding spot. “Aoi, what am I going to do?”

“Hmmm~” Aoi thinks for a moment as she pointed at the cherry blossom at the distance. “How about confessing to her under the cherry tree from outside?”

Yashiro blushed. Thinking about confessing to [name] was already nerve-wracking. The problem is the result of the confession, the answer lies whether she's going to be rejected or accepted. “Should I really do it, Aoi?”

“We won't know unless you try, Nene-chan.”

'Are you really going to confess again?' Yashiro's inner voice asks her. The second thoughts of hers kept echoing in her mind and then she blinked. All of the negative thoughts were gone. “I'll try!” Yashiro cheered and Aoi clapped her hands happily.

”You can do it Nene-chan!”

Yashiro finally made her decision, she's going to confess to [name] on the cherry tree outside their classroom. There's no turning back and she would rather do this than hiding her feelings forever.

“I can't tell [name]-chan to meet her by the cherry tree...” Yashiro teared up while shakily holding the love letter, she was too shy to ask her and [name] might take the hint that Yashiro was going to confess. “Oh well, there's no turning back now...” she tucked the letter inside [name]'s locker and ran off to the cherry blossom tree to wait for her.

[name] got out of the classroom minutes after Yashiro puts her letter. [name] went to her shoe locker to change her shoes, but when she opened the locker door, a letter fell out. ‘Hm? A letter?’ she raised the letter to her face and checked the sides. ‘I guess this is addressed to me...’

The [hair color] haired female puts the letter inside her bag. She quickly ran outside to the cherry blossom to see her admirer. [name] tilted her head in confusion to see Yashiro standing there. “Ah, Yashiro-san.” [name] scratched her cheek as she walked over to the cream haired girl. “I assume that you're the person whom I'm going to meet here, right?”

Yashiro saw [name]'s smile again, she can feel her apple cheeks burning again and her heart beating faster. “There's something I wanted to tell you, [name]-chan...” she said, her voice was slightly cracking.

A huge gust of wind blew over them, carrying the petals of the cherry blossom along with the sway of their hair. Yashiro clasps her hands together near her chest and shouted out her feelings. “I like you, [name]-chan!” Yashiro confessed with tears brimming out of her ruby eyes, betraying her straightness right there. “Please go out with me...”

[name] stood there speechless at Yashiro's confession, she assumed that the cream haired girl was attracted to prince-like males like Teru Minamoto. “B-But Yashiro-san, I'm just a normal girl.” [name] stuttered out. “I-I'm not like those prince charming that you always fantasize about!”

“So?” Yashiro asked in verge of tears. “Even if you're not those, I still like you despite of that!”

Yashiro couldn't handle this anymore and by the looks of it the confession wasn't running smoothly. Yashiro tried to runaway to hide her tears until [name] caught her hand. “Wait!” [name] yelled out.

[name] saw that Yashiro was crying after that confession. “Yashiro-san...” [name] gently holds her hand, preventing the cream haired girl from running away. “Don't go...” she croaked out.

“[name]...?” Yashiro stared at her, thinking why did [name] stop her from going. [name] teared up also, still holding Yashiro's hand with hers.

[name] mustered up a tearful smile and confessed also. “I have always liked you Yashiro-san...” she said.

Yashiro couldn't believe what [name] just said. Did she just say that she likes her too? [name] likes her back? Yashiro cried even more and smiled. “R-Really?”

“Mhmm.” [name] and Yashiro felt happy now that they both confessed that they liked each other. “It's true that I like you Yashiro-san, and I want to go out with you too.”

Yashiro immediately hugged [name] which the latter returned the affection. “I'm so glad.” Yashiro softly cried, the person she had a crush on is finally hers, it seemed impossible that [name] would like her back, but the supernaturals lingering around the school looked so real, then maybe anything is possible after all.

Yashiro and [name] pecked each others lips, pulling away with a smile now that they shared their kiss. “Nene-chan, wanna go on a date this Saturday?” [name] suggests.

“Of course.” Yashiro laced their fingers together as they walked back to their houses. This is one of the fantasies that Yashiro had dreamed of, being [name]'s girlfriend. There's nothing more she can ask for other than this realistic serenity she's feeling right now.

Also, assuming this is about a personal experience, just know braces are sooo adorable- i’m sure they’re a pain to have, but idk they’re genuinely just c u t e - anyway, i hope you like this!! I feel like it’s a bit jumbled at the end, and i’m really sorry for that,,

If there’s one thing you could describe Teru as, the word count most likely be “perceptive.” Yes, that wasn’t all there was to him- everyone was well aware, no matter how they looked at Teru, that he had character. One thing most also would use to describe him, be it because they knew him personally or only saw him at school, was kind. And the kind, perceptive Teru was quick to notice something off about the way you were treating him. He saw you in the halls, a nervous closed-mouth smile on your face as you talked to a friend. He watched as your eyes met his, watched as you saw him wave, and watched as you dismissively waved back, looking away from him quickly.

It continued on throughout the day, gaining much of his concern.

“(Y/N). Are you feeling alright?” He had asked at one point, spotting you as you were carrying your lunch to wherever you planned to eat it. The same nervous look crossed your face as you nodded. You tried to bring a hand to cover your mouth, trying to play off the action as you told Teru you were feeling fine.

Then, like that, you nodded your head and sped off.

Those interactions were enough to leave Teru absolutely perplexed. Had he done something? Said something? Did someone else say something about him? He racked his brain, trying to remember anything that could have upset you. Nothing immediately came to mind, and the school’s prince finally heaved a long sigh.

To that, the only other person in the room, the student council’s Vice President Akane, gave Teru a sideways glance. Teru glanced at Akane, raising his eyebrows. “What?”

“What do you mean what?” Akane questioned, narrowing his eyebrows at Teru.

“What are you looking at? The paperwork is right there. Could you be slacking off?”

“I’m looking at some boy who just uncharacteristically sighed. If anything, you’re the one slacking off-”

“Actually, I’m ahead.”

Akane rolled his eyes, stopping himself from mocking Teru as he continued his work.

Teru looked back at his work as well, tapping his pencil a bit as he found his spot back on the paper.

“Alright. What’s wrong?” Akane asked, sitting back and sending a slight glare to the pencil Teru had just been tapping. Normally, the student council room was entirely silent, and Akane was beginning to take Teru’s sighs and taps as him basically shouting “I’ve found something that upsets me! Care to know why?” Though it may not exactly be intentional, it was still somewhat of a disruption compared to the normal.

Teru sat still for a moment, before shrugging a bit. “Aren’t you friends with (Y/N), Aoi?”

“Yes. Why? If it’s anything weird, you know I-”

“Only have eyes for Ao-chan, yes, yes-”

“You don’t have permission to call her-” “So, as (Y/N)’s friend, do you…” Teru paused a bit, questioning whether or not he was really about to ask him something that he felt was so important, “know why she’s been acting so strange lately?”

“Oh. She got braces recently, and I think is feeling self-conscious about them.”

At that, Teru let out a soft, nearly silent, ‘oh.’ Nodding, Teru began to work on his paperwork once more, though his mind was anything but settled.

Why would she feel the need to be self-conscious around me…? It’s not as if she can help it. I’m sure she looks as cute as ever- I’d hope she thinks so as well… Teru nodded again, only to himself this time, as he silently agreed that he was going to try and make (Y/N) feel better.

The next day came soon enough, and Teru found himself already beginning to try and spot you in the halls.

“Good morning, (Y/N),” He said, waving to you as you passed each other in the hall. You glanced over, opening your mouth to respond, but shutting it quickly. You settled for waving, as you gave him a tight-lipped smile. After you were out of sight, Teru frowned a bit, truly accepting that you were bound to be stubborn about it. Luckily for him, Teru knew a thing or two about being stubborn.

The day passed quickly enough, and full of Teru trying and failing to make conversation with you. Attempts to walk with you in the halls failed thanks to both his fans and the excuse of “class is about to start.” Conversations were quickly dismissed with a nod and a wave. Even his offer to sit with you at lunch was rejected, as you muttered that you already promised to sit with someone. However, Teru wasn’t giving in, the final offer finally able to be set in motion.

As you stood by your locked, placing things in your bookbag, Teru made his way over. Once you stood up, slinging your bag over your shoulder, you were met by the tall boy’s presence.

“Teru,” You muttered, glancing to the side as you attempted to hide your mouth as best you could. “Hey, (Y/N). I don’t have anything to stay for today- want to walk home together?”

Teru knew that was a rather normal thing to ask, and you did too. Often on days like those, he’d walk you home- in fact, he barely had to ask any more, simply requesting it for the sake of you know that he’d be walking home with you.

“Oh, uh… well-”

“Well?” Teru repeating, already reaching for your bag so you could carry it. You felt your face warm up as you searched your mind for an excuse, but- it was already too late, your bookbag taken from you and now settled on Teru’s shoulder. To that, you simply looked at the ground, beginning to walk alongside Teru.

As you exited the school, Teru glanced down at you, pondering what he should do.

“How was your day? I didn’t really get to talk to you much today,” He asked, glancing at the path, then back at you as you responded.

With your head still tucked down so he couldn’t see your mouth, you responded with, “it was fine, not much happened… what about yours?”

“It was alright. I wish you’d look at me though… I’d like to see your smile.”

“Ah, it’s- it’s not much to look at, I don’t think-”

“No matter what, your smile is beautiful, (Y/N). It’s enough to brighten anyone’s day, including mine. An actual smile though- not one of those forced, no-teeth smiles you’ve been giving me.”

You glanced up at him, meeting his half-expectant, yet still kind, eyes. However, you glanced back down, shrugging. Teru stopped himself from sighing, not wanting to seem irritated (since he genuinely wasn’t, he simply wasn’t sure how else to bring up the topic) and looked back at the path ahead. Silence ensued for a few more moments, before Teru interrupted it once again.

“I really mean it, (Y/N). You have a beautiful smile… really. Braces or no braces, all they’re gonna do is help you out a bit- it’s nothing you can help. Plus, to be honest, braces are pretty cute- as if you weren’t already. I haven’t been able to see them properly, so… I’d really enjoy a proper smile, if that’s okay?”

You paused completely, your footsteps stopping as you looked up at Teru. The compliments had made your face go slightly red, but you were more focused on how the boy managed to see right through you. “How did you…?”

“Aoi told me- don’t be upset with him though, it was all for my sake.”

This time it was your turn to sigh, as you continued to walk. You spoke up, not bowing your head as low as you had before as you did so, “I’m just… feeling a little… bad about them, I guess.”

“You don’t need to. (Y/N), I promise you, you’re cute both with and without braces. You mean too much to me for me to see you any less, you know? Both… inside and out, you’re a gorgeous person.”

You looked back up at Teru and noticed the slight blush on his face as he continued to look at you. Your face continued to warm up, as the compliments clicked, making a smile threaten to show. However, you covered your face before you could grin, letting out a half-hearted “stop” as you did so.

“I could go on forever, (Y/N). And I don’t plan to stop until you show me a smile,” He teased, placing his hands on his hips as he spoke.

“It’s not that important anyway, Teru-”

“It’s important to me… (Y/N), as your friend, and as someone who… cares about you deeply, I want you to feel confident in yourself. And I especially don’t want you to feel self-conscious when I’m around.”

“It’s not your fault or anything… though I don’t understand why you care so much. Really, I-”

“You say it like I haven’t been telling you all day,” Teru spoke, this time being the one to stop walking.

“What do you mean?”

“I mean… I like you, (Y/N). So, I want you to love your smile as much as I do.”

A blush spread rapidly across your face as you opened your mouth, your brain practically short-circuiting at the sudden confession. You shut your mouth, before opening it once more.

“Oh…” You muttered, before realizing how that could sound too similar to a rejection- “I- I like you too, Teru. If… if that’s what you meant.”

Teru nodded, a sweet smile on his face that practically made your heart melt. The warm feeling in your heart made you feel a bit more nervous, yet you found yourself smiling without even realizing it. Teru’s smile only broadened as he placed a hand on the side of your face.

“There we go! And I was right, your smile is as beautiful as ever. I told you so.”

The Freedom of Expression, radio version - Live special #3, August 9th 2016.

✯📆Kaoru starts by trying to remember when the last live special was, getting it wrong by saying it was at the start of year (It was actually in Dec).  Kaoru comments on how the amount of staff in the studio is different from usual when they go live. They also have half-price off food from the supermarket to keep them going for 2 hours.

✵🐎They then welcome Hiranabe and Tasai to join them for the show. Hiranabe worries whether he'll still have a job in the morning after doing this show. He doesnt want to lose his job, as he just also lost a ton of money on the horse racing.

Kaoru then suggest they might get a visit from Kami at some point, and they will try to have a phone call with Dobashi, who is currenly in Brazil 🇧🇷.

He then gets started with the top 5 stories of the first half of 2016. Counting down from...

●5. North Korean satellite lauch/ America and Japan suspect an intercontinental ballistic missile launch - Hiranabe thinks American satellites are so advanced that America will know exactly what N.Korea is doing. Joe thinks the wording/phrasing in such news articles makes a big difference as to how the story is percieved.

Kami tells them he is ok to appear on the show tonight, as he managed to catch the last train home after work. He's now enjoying taking part with a beer.

●4. A boom in adultery - Celebrity Becky's affair (plus apology to her sponsers at a press conference) at the start of the year has set off a string of public revelations about the adulterous affairs of other celebrities, all of whom have also immediately held press conferences to apologize. Before this year, celebrities tended to use their personal blogs etc to address the accusations. Joe brings up something he heard from Nuclear Safety Chief Madarame Haruki when interviewing him about the 3.11 disaster. Madarame said that it has long been Japan's culture to never badmouth a samurai who has commited seppuku. Badmouthing such a person makes you worse than whatever they did. In this way, if celebs appear at a press conference with tears in their eyes and full of apology, they can avoid any future dragging about their past mistakes.

✵🏘️At this point Kaoru takes a break from the countdown to read out an email from a listener. The email is from someone who currently lives in their hometown, but is thinking of moving to Tokyo, so they want to know Kaoru's advice for moving to Tokyo for the first time as a single person. Kaoru says he moved to Tokyo 19 years ago, and lived in Nerima ward at first, specifically the neighborhood Fujimidai. This was to be near to where Dir's manager lived. The rent was ¥120,000 a month for a 2LDK apartment, which he shared with Kyo. Kami gives out advice to not be picky about specific locations when searching for a cheap place. Hiranabe brings up the website 'Oshima teru', where you can check to see which apartments have previously been the sites of murders/deaths. The rent for such apartments is often abnormally cheap.  

✵🤭🤭🤭 Next Kaoru moves onto some news which interested Hiranabe a lot, the story being very typical of him....'Admission of squirting'. (Lots of laughs from the others, and Joe wants to know more 😆). The story relates to the model Darenogare Akemi. She appeared on a radio show and was denying the rumour that she was the type to lie still during sex, she claimed that she moves around and vocalises a lot during sex. The host of the show asked her, 'Yeh, but I bet you don't squirt?'. She replied on air, 'I do, I did for the first time a year and a half ago'. Hiranabe decided to dedicate a whole page in Tokyo Sports to this story.

Hiranabe was also fond of the Beat Takeshi 'Comǎneci pose' story, invovling actresses Ayase Haruka, Nagasawa Masami, and Hirose Suzu. This story was talked about previously on Ep 25.

✵☎️Next, they try having a direct phone convo with a listener. The caller brings up the news of the 2016 World Happiness Report, in which Japan ranked at #53. Joe explains these results are obtained by surveying local populations, but each nation has different standards of what happiness is. Kaoru thinks happiness is not something that should be ranked in this way. The caller then asks Hiranabe why he never learns to not spend so much money on women. He answers 'Because Im an idiot'. Joe asks the caller what she thinks Hiranabe looks like. She says 'a face which can't be broadcast'. (Laughs all round).

✵🎶Next they listen to a few of the new jingle entries. They like the second entry, which apparently contains phrases influened by a couple of Dir songs. They also like the fifth entry and ask Kami to do the voice-over on it, which they all find hilarious. Kaoru says he might use some of these entries on the show in future.

📞✵🇧🇷Next they connect via the phone to Dobashi, who is in Brazil covering the 2016 Olympics for Tokyo Sports. He is calling from the table tennis venue, as he is covering a match there. He says he has seen a few Japanese athletes win gold medals in other events, and encourages listeners to buy Tokyo Sports to read his reports.

They ask Dobashi various questions about security, and the local food etc, then Hiranabe asks him if he has any of the commemorative Olympic condoms, and whether or not he has used them. Dobashi says he has some, but hasn't used them. He opened one to check it out, and it was so thick, obviously not made in Japan (his words). Hiranabe asks him to bring some back as souvenirs 🤭😆

✵Before moving onto # 3 in the countdown, Kaoru reads out an email. This is from a listener who is a fan of Dobashi and wants to know what kind of woman he likes. Hiranabe knows his type..he likes kinda crazy women. Another email from 'radio name: 0.3mm' asks for some Olympic condoms. The last email asks them whether they like watching movies on regular screens, or on 3D/4D screenings. Kaoru prefers regular screens, otherwise he finds it difficult to concentrate. He recently watched the movie 'Shin Godzilla' (in 2D), and was anxious seeing familiar Tokyo landmarks getting trashed.

●3. Muhammed Ali's death. This was discussed in ep 39, about how Ali was very outspoken in regards to segregation. Despite Obama becoming the first black president, Joe questions how much discrimination against black people by white people in the US has actually improved. Hiranabe agrees with Joe, in that based on the news, race relations are not improving at all. Joe says we must be careful not to focus too much on the big headline of Obama as President. That doesn't suddenly mean everything is ok now.

Hiranabe then talks for a bit about his memories of prowrestler Antonio Inoki, who fought with Ali once.

●2. The eventual resignation of (former) Tokyo Governor Masuzoe Yōichi. Masuzoe had held onto his position as long as possible, claiming he was innocent. He's used specific techniques during press conferences to avoid getting cornered. Hiranabe was impressed with the words of new candidate Torigoe Shuntaro, who used the phrase, 'Everyone please get distracted', instead of the usual 'Don't get distracted', which candidates usually finish their speeches with. Joe draws comparisons with the 3.11 response. A third party investigation committee was set up in both the 3.11 case and Masuzoe's case, but if the guilty parties are choosing which lawyers make up the committee, its not very impartial in the end. Use of the word 'third-party' is another trick politicians use to try to look innocent.

✵☎️Next they take another phone call from a listener. This caller's first fave news of the year is the announcement of new Dir en grey tours. His second is about Pokemon Go. He asks if Kaoru plays. Kaoru says he's already given up, after getting to level 12. Joe interrupts to say Kami looks as if he's about to fall asleep.

Reaching the end of the countdown..

●1. Mystery Phoenix appears in sun. This is a story from Tokyo Sports back in May. Shapes resembling a phoenix have been spotted in various photos of the sun which were released by NASA. Tokyo Sports offered the suggestion of whether this might actually be real. Tasai hands a copy of Tokyo Sports out to everyone to show them the image, but Kaoru is more interested in another story on the same page: 'Discovery in Arizona of trunk from 20cm tall elephant with fish gills'. Joe then reads out some similarly crazy headlines from the newspaper in his hands. The question arises of whether this story merits being at #1.

✵To finish a quick suggestion of another live special at the end of the year, as long as everyone still has their job, and are not in Atami...., and Kaoru plugs his upcoming tours. In the last min, they all agree that Kami voicing the jingle was the funniest bit of the show. Kaoru wishes the listeners good luck at work tomorrow after staying up late to listen to the show.

If there’s not a certain Mob Psycho 100-ness present in the art then what’d be the point, so, the characters are being very serious but they’re also pretty laughable. I tried to create a piece of art from which you could hear their voices!!! What’s with it being Shouwa-esque?? Being lame is incredibly cool!!! Huh? Does that describe Mob Psycho 100?? Kameda describes how he wasn’t sure how best to adapt the manga into an anime format at first, since from the art he was shown he immediately knew it to be very unique - the idea of using Flash to animate the show was raised but quickly shot down

Originally, upon being asked about the show, he based his thoughts on what a web image search for Mob Psycho 100 gave him rather than having the actual manga in hand. “For the most part, the results that came back would be fanart (laughs). It’s a bit strange -  at that time, it was difficult to find art uploaded from the manga. If you could find anything, it’d just be art from the covers. So for the most part, an image search of Mob Psycho 100 would just bring you back fanart. A lot of that fanart would be… a shounen in a cool pose wearing a school uniform with smooth bobbed hair & sharp cat-like eyes, sort of like Hiei’s eyes (from Yu Yu Hakusho). Fanart is, fundamentally, ‘fans drawing what they like’, so I thought, ‘the anime having this kind of art would make the fans happy.’ Well, it didn’t work out that way, obviously. I was told the anime’s art should resemble that of the manga. (Laughs)”

He hadn’t read the manga so all he had for reference was art from volume 1 and the fanart he found online. “But I like things like spirits and urban legends, so seeing Dimple - a floating supernatural fiery ball - and being told the manga touches on the occult caused my interest to soar.”

Says that Teru is the easiest character for him to draw. “He’s overflowing with confidence, so it’s easy to put him into some cool poses. Mob and Ritsu in comparison, not so much. [...] With Reigen, he has a lot of poses that are like, he’s trying to look good. He takes a solid stance. I suppose Spirits & Such has such a shady air to it, and you have to hide that somehow, right? So, Reigen injects confidence into how he presents himself. A model-like stance.”

“The anime is faithful to the manga… ah, actually, Tsubomi-chan was changed with a ‘let’s make her more like a heroine’ conversation. So, I did so, but reading recent events in the manga I can’t picture her in her anime form (laughs). The manga’s Tsubomi isn’t much like a heroine, so I’ve found myself wondering, if we animate up until this part… just how will we approach it? The anime’s Tsubomi is so bright and sparkly, so she wouldn’t have snot hanging from her nose (vol.13 of manga), would she…? (Laughs). Perhaps we went a little too far with making her a heroine. Maybe, if we do season 2, we’ll turn her back into a normal girl (laughs). Well, Tachikawa-san is clever; I think he’ll find a way to make do with her current design.”

Asked about his favourite characters; “I love Mezato Ichi from the Newspaper Club. When I drew her in her character sheet in that pose where she’s holding her camera, I came to see her as being quite cute. So now I focus on her a lot; in fact, when I draw genga I sneakily choose the cuts that have her in them (laughs).”

“I also love Mob. Reigen stands out the most so your eyes naturally jump to him, but I love the balance that Mob has. His heads tall ratio... or rather, his face, and the way his body is proportioned? It makes him lovely. Ritsu is around the same height as Mob, but, how can I put this - the cuteness that Mob has, is lacking in Ritsu… due to the latter being quite standoffish, I suppose (laughs).”

Ritsu’s hair changing through the first season is discussed, and how it is purposefully shortened during the latter half. “I paid attention to making sure his hair was long especially while he was being possessed by Dimple. So it’d resemble thorns.”

“I feel Teru-kun is the most ‘yang’ of all the characters. The rest are more ‘yin’ in nature. Because of this, it’s easy to play around with his expressions - he’s fun to draw. Speaking in terms of Dragonball, he’s kind of like Mob Psycho 100’s Vegeta (laughs).”

“In episode 9, Dimple possesses one of Claw’s security guards, right? I don’t really understand why that security guard is so popular.” Q: What do you mean? “Because he’s just some middle-aged dude (laughs). He doesn’t even appear for long…”

After discussing the huge amount of SG!Dimple commissions received: “Unlike SG!Dimple, I don’t really get asked to draw Shou-kun. With this commission I thought to myself, I /have/ to include him here, and so I added him in. The initial brief excluded him.”

Asked about moments that stuck with him; “When Teru chokes Mob in episode 5. [...] Mob’s pained expression as he’s being choked is good, but Teru-kun’s face shows us… envy, jealousy, distress, anxiety.”

“Also, the ‘super real Reigen’ sequence from episode 12. The tension between Reigen and Sakurai is funny, but the art itself has had me laughing since production. It’s funny no matter how many times I look at it!”

Kameda’s idea to have the characters make number shapes for the volume art came from him watching ‘Tonneruzu no Minasan no Okage deshita’, specifically the ‘Mojimoji-kun’ segment of the show (where they try to make numbers from their bodies)

Volume 6’s cover art was first planned to have a whole ensemble of characters, but Kameda changed his mind on this - “if we do a second season, we can leave that for volume 12 (laughs).”

Volume 4's cover was originally planned to feature only Onigawara and Gouda, but Kameda found himself wanting to include the rest of the body improvement club

Regarding the pose we see on vol 6’s package art, “My original thoughts for that cover were to have Reigen and Mob in a ‘hell wheel’ pose, like, Mob pulling Reigen’s legs and arms… but that wouldn’t be very fitting for the final volume.”

His message to the readers; “Thank you for your support! With sales, the ‘this is popular!’ message gets conveyed, and the more support you give us, then there’s no doubt we’ll be able to produce season 2 and season 3!! Season 2 relies on your support. It’s in your hands - thank you!!”

- And they always look so alive despite their calm exterior. They never look stressed or agitated. Tired. They do so much and they always wear such a peaceful look.

- "Minamoto-san, I can take care of the rest of this. Why don’t you go take a nap?"

- the first time he heard them say this he thought he was going to kneel over and die any second

- was he dying

- Teru has had a lot of cooking. And logically... he knows Kou’s good is better than (Y/n)’s

- their homemade lunches become his new favorite pick me up

Oooh!! This gives me inspiration to write more to be honest and I hope I’m not bothering by giving so many requests but I did think of an AU... it’s mostly canon but I wanted your headcanons or a one shot for it if that’s okay! Basically, Yoko and satou use a ouija board to summon something as a joke, they end up summoning Tsukasa but yoko doesn’t say goodbye when he’s suppose to and now it’s just kou and Tsukasa in a house now haunted by spirits and uh apparently the all powerful Tsukasa is terrified of every single one of them. As in, screaming and sobbing and clinging to Kou out of pure terror (also! This would be after hell of mirrors :3 and you can use Japanese urban legends as well such as the eight feet tall woman!)

Ahhh I'm so glad it gives you inspiration to write more, you totally should! <3 I don't know much about urban legends so I'll just use the one you told me (I tried looking up the other ones and I didn't want to make this too terrifying XD)

I included a bit of Teru in this toward the end, I hope that's okay! I decided to go with headcanons since I need to get better (and faster) at writing them. I hope this is to your liking!

Kou and Tsukasa; Haunted House AU

WARNING: Slight fear elements, references eight feet tall women urban legend.

✧ Kou initially isn't afraid of the haunted house, since he has Tsukasa with him...but then he realizes that Tsukasa is afraid, which causes them to both end up panicking together.

"Tsukasa, use your ghost powers or something to get rid of them!"

"I can't! They're too powerful!"

✧ They both end up a shaking, shivering mess and running (or in Tsukasa's case, floating) as fast as they can away from the spirits.

✧ When they see the eight feet tall woman, Tsukasa is completely frozen and hiding behind Kou.

"Tsukasa, why are YOU the one who's scared?"

"You know she kidnaps and kills children, right? That includes you! And me!"

"But you're already dead! And you literally defeated a school wonder!"

"She's IMMORTAL, Kou. I can't kill something immortal!"

✧ After Kou hears that, he's shaking just as much as Tsukasa as they cling to each other.

✧ Tsukasa ends up crying and screaming the entire way through the house.

"Stop being so loud, they're going to hear you!"

"We'll never make it out of here alive if we can't fight them! Kokujoudai can't call for help either! So you're going to die, and we won't even get an afterlife!"

✧ Tsukasa becomes deeply pessimistic and just wants to get out of the house ASAP. And as much as Kou wants to as well, Tsukasa's pessimism is getting on his nerves.

"Well, we don't know if we don't try! R-Right? RIGHT?!"

✧ They try to run away and end up tripping on almost everything because tears are blinding their vision.

✧ Kou and Tsukasa have absolutely chaotic energy, so when they try to work together it never goes very well.

"Maybe we can like...trap them or something?"

✧ As soon as they try to set up a poorly-made net trap, Tsukasa ends up walking on it and getting himself trapped.

"TSUKASA! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

"I WAS TESTING IT! TO MAKE SURE IT WORKS! AND STUFF!"

"ADMIT IT, YOU ONLY SET IT OFF BECAUSE YOU WERE CURIOUS."

"...this is actually kind of painful, Kou why did you make the net so small."

"I-"

✧ Kou quickly realizes that Tsukasa is going to end up setting off any traps that they make (intentionally or accidentally), and quickly abandons that idea.

✧ Kou tries to ask Tsukasa for ideas but he keeps getting distracted by the spirits and floating off in different directions.

"TSUKASA WAIT-"

"KOU THEY'RE GOING TO EXORCISE ME."

✧ Kou ends up tying a rope *cough* more like a leash around Tsukasa's wrist so he can make sure he doesn't float too far.

✧ Tsukasa ends up chewing through the rope, of course.

"Why did you chew the rope."

"I wanted to know what it tasted like!" (even though we all know he also chewed it out of nervousness)

✧ Teru (eventually) figures out what's going on and tells Yoko and Satou to say goodbye, not telling them about the spirits being real.

"How did you know what happened?"

"Because you didn't show up at home, Kou."

"Oh. Right."

✧ Teru ends up taking away the ouija board from Yoko and Satou with a threatening smile, saying it's his duty as a student council member to "keep the school safe."

✧ Teru almost exorcises Tsukasa on the spot, but reluctantly decides not to because of Kou's insistence.

"Tsukasa's my friend, you can't just exorcise him! And he's not harmful or anything, promise!"

✧ Tsukasa becomes very happy and excited at hearing the word "friend" and wraps Kou in a tight hug. You bet Tsukasa's telling Sakura about his new friend for weeks to come.

"Yeah, you can't exorcise me! Then I wouldn't be able to hang out with my friend!"

"Tsukasa I can't breathe-help—"

✧ (Tsukasa is very much a hugger).

✧ When Halloween rolls around and someone offers to take them to a "haunted house," they quickly decline.

"Nope! We've uh, had enough of haunted houses for a while."

✧ And from that point onward, Kou and Tsukasa make a silent agreement to stay away from anything "haunted".

Hananene cute scenario ideas 💗

Hi! To be honest I'm not much of a writer (even if I do try to write fanfics sometimes.) But here I'm gonna lay down some cute ideas I got for Hananene, so if some of those may or may not inspire you to write a fanfiction on your own then please feel free to borrow my ideas! But when you do please link me to the fanfic because I'll definitely want to read it! 💕💕

1) Yashiro teaching Hanako how to play video games/using smartphones!

Because Hanako is a space nerd he's probably also really interested in the development of science in general through the years. And since he's a ghost he sneaks into different classrooms to listen to the science teachers giving lessons to the students of the school. Yashiro had noticed that so she shows him videos of new technologies on her phone. Hanako finds it amazing how a tiny device like a smartphone can do so many things! It can take photos, record voices and videos, be used as an alarm clock, be used to write stuff on it, look up anything at any time in the whole world, etc. Hanako secretly wishes he could have a phone since it seems so useful but he's honestly not sure how to get one since he can't leave the school. Yashiro also lets him play some games on her phone even if he sucks a lot at first, after a little while he gets the hang of it! He prefers silly little games that involve playing with animals, cutting random people's hair and make it into a mess, adventure style games, etc. He's not a big fan of Yashiro's "raising idols" games though... he says that it's because he sucks at rhythm games and doesn't really like the songs but it's probably because he's pissed that the idols in the game are way too handsome 😂 Though he did ask which character in the game was Yashiro's favorite and of course, it was a tall blond hottie who looks like Teru which made Hanako even more irritated.

Also, Yashiro keeps a couple of Hanako's favorite games on her phone so he can play them when he wants. One time she encouraged him to try an idol raising game but this time with female idols (love live/bandori style.) Unsurprisingly he loved it because the game was full of cute girls. (Btw, his favorites in love live would be Honoka, Kotori, Chika and Riko because they all remind him of Yashiro since they have some similar personality traits, same for Kasumi, Tsugumi, Himari and Aya from bandori.)

2) Yashiro dressing up as Hanako for Halloween! It's a common idea in the fandom that Hanako would find Yashiro super cute in his hat, so imagine if she wore the whole outfit! Even better if it's a matching one rather than exactly the same as his, like, she'd wear all white to contrast with the fact that he wears all black.

3) So we already know that Yashiro has an embarrassing journal where she rewrites her everyday life in a really... shoujo-esque style. (The part where she wrote that her and Teru are secretly dating and he would always stare at her 😂) So one day she mistakenly brings it to school without noticing (maybe she was too distracted and grabbed her journal instead of a textbook or something?) So she tries her best to hide it but somehow Hanako finds it.

He knows that it's really bad to look through other people's stuff but he can't help but feel really curious. He knows it's gonna be torture since it's probably gonna be filled with lots of Teru and other handsome guys Yashiro fantasizes about but he's really interested to know in what is Yashiro into.

Well, of course she likes all the most cliche stuff there is... kisses in secret, getting trapped in a small space like a closet to be as close as possible with a guy, hugging in a dark place, being called a "silly girl"/anything that sounds slightly embarrassing, and of course: kabe-dons (that's the thing where you're pushed against a wall 😂).

So turns out that Yashiro does actually like physical contact, huh? And being called weird names... but the thing that surprises Hanako the most is that there are a couple of pages about him too!!! Especially the day of the confession tree when he destroyed kodama, it was written that Yashiro's heart skipped a beat when he took his hat off. It made Hanako incredibly happy to know that he did have some charm even if Yashiro still prefers tall prince-charming guys it wasn't like his chances with her were zero! After that he felt really giddy... and really cocky. He would grin all the time with Yashiro and try some of the things he read in her journal. He would also take his hat off more often.

4) The school festival is soon! Yashiro's class wasn't really finding any good ideas, it was all cliche stuff like takoyaki stands, haunted houses, etc. Stuff that other classes will also choose and maybe do better than them. After some thinking Yashiro suggests a cafe from the 1960s, since Hanako was alive in those years. Maybe it would make him happy to see students walking in old clothes and all instead of always wearing the school uniform?

The day of the school festival Hanako was really surprised. Did we go back in time or something? Everything was really well done, it really looked like back then. Hanako wasn't really sure what to think of it since it made him remember some happy times... and some not so happy times... but when he saw Yashiro all of his worries were blown away! She was wearing a super cute and colorful dress from the 1960s, it made Hanako stare at her all the time. Tsuchigomori noticed of course and teased him about it.

"You're really staring a lot, huh kid? It would've been pretty nice if she was one of your classmates back in the day, wouldn't it?"

Hanako is a blushing mess 😂 They also put popular songs from the 1960s in the cafe and Hanako manages to recognize quite a lot of them! Though his heart really races when Yashiro sings along to one of the songs. In the end they both dance and sing it together! It was super fun for Hanako and he loved the school festival because of that. Yashiro admits that she was the one to come up with the idea to make him happy and Hanako is even more touched.

5) it's kind of spoiler-ish, but what if after number 6's arc Aoi is able to see apparitions too? It would be really cute if she can sense that Yashiro and Hanako have a crush on eachother so she constantly teases them to make them get closer. Aoi really becomes the wingman(/wingwoman?) of Hananene, she does everything she can to make them embarrassed and self-conscious. She even gives advice to Hanako on how to flirt with Yashiro since she's her best friend she knows a whole lot about it. As for Yashiro, she gives her tips on how to "seduce guys" and encourages her to "try them out on Hanako to see if it works" *wink wink nudge nudge* but of course it always works on Hanako no matter what Yashiro does...

6) This is more of a AU idea since it's a bit OOC but, imagine if Yashiro becomes super flirty with Hanako when she falls for him? Like Hanako is just teasing/borderline trying to seduce her as usual but then Yashiro answers back with something even more daring and Hanako just becomes a blushing mess. It's literally the

"Why did you run away?!?"

"I didn't expect her to flirt back!!!"

meme 😂

Of course Hanako always clinges to Yashiro so there's nothing new there, but when Yashiro clinges to Hanako? Oh boy.

The poor guy can't align 2 words anymore. He's stuttering and wondering what's going on.

It would be funny if Yashiro is the agressive kind of flirt, the type that always roasts/shames her crush when she tries flirting. Most of the time she's trying to be nice about it but unconsciously most of her flirting is almost a roast session.

The worst (or best) part is when they're alone because Yashiro can say all the shameless stuff she can't in public 😂

Stuff like:

"Hey, you really are a perv for haunting the girls' bathroom out of all the places there is in the school. I bet that if I couldn't see you, you would probably look at my underwear, wouldn't you? 😤"

Or

"It's not fair that you're always making me clean the bathrooms without any rewards... won't you at least give me a kiss on the lips? That's like, the minimum you can do. 🙄"

A kiss on the lips is the minimum?? Then what's the maximum?!?

Hanako is literally dying inside, anytime they're alone he panics, he's like "oh god it's coming, what is she going to say this time??"

Class felt so slow these days; it was difficult to stay sane in the middle period where she had been in class for too long but still had so much to go. Lately, unnecessary trips to the bathroom had become the best strategy to clear her mind and come back refreshed. It would have been nice if she could visit Hanako in these trips, too, but his bathroom wasn’t that close to her class, and he tended to be a distraction, anyway. Even this was nice enough. Nene stretched her limbs as she wandered down the hall, lamenting the textbook exercises that would be awaiting her return.

As she got closer to the bathroom, Nene became aware of a rather alarming sound coming from inside. Someone was coughing quite a lot. Nene slowed down and softened her footsteps, nervously creeping towards the incident, afraid to interrupt whatever was happening. When she stepped inside, it became clear that someone was being sick, but... their retching sounded quite low for a girl. Nene cautiously walked along all the stalls, and stopped dead when she got to the last one. Surely she was hallucinating right now.

Stall door wide open, hunched over the toilet, was Minamoto Teru. It was unmistakably him. The student council armband, the tall, slender body, the neat gold hair. But this was the women’s bathroom. “M-Minamoto-senpai??” Nene blurted. There was no reaction. He only continued to convulse and retch. Nene looked around uncertainly. She dashed back to the door and poked her head outside, but the sign above the door definitely said she was in the right bathroom and Teru was not. No matter what the reason, something was clearly very wrong with him. Nene knew what she had to do.

She crept back to the stall and reached out. Her heart was racing. Was this overdoing it? Would he be uncomfortable? Before she could doubt herself any more, her fingertips touched Teru’s back. Again, there was no reaction. She planted her hand on it and began rubbing it lightly. His skin was hot beneath the fabric of his shirt. Up close, Nene could also see that his hair was damp. “Senpai... you’re really sick...” Nene fretted. He still said nothing.

After an agonising minute of awful sounds from Teru, he finally gave a weak belch and then sat panting over the toilet. Nene prayed she wasn’t bothering him by trying to soothe him.

“Ugh....” Teru moaned. “That was disgusting....”

“It’s okay, it happens!” Nene offered.

“Yashiro-san. This is nice, but.... should you be.... am I in the wrong bathroom?” Teru asked weakly.

“Um, yes...” Nene answered nervously.

“Ah, I’m sorry....” Teru murmured. “I really didn’t realise.... I thought....” He began to move, but Nene quickly placed a hand on his shoulder.

“I-it’s okay, you can catch your breath for a bit! I’m not mad!”

Teru sank back to the floor immediately, sighing faintly. “I was so sure this was the men’s bathroom....”

“Did you realise you were sick when you woke up this morning?” Nene inquired. Teru shook his head.

“It was really sudden....”

“We should go to the infirmary...” Nene advised, staring at him in concern.

Teru shifted and leaned back against the wall. Finally, Yashiro could see his beautiful face, but it was flushed and shining with sweat, and his blue eyes were glazed over. More alarmingly, he had made a mess all down the front of his shirt.

“Minamoto-senpai, your clothes!” Nene cried. The poor thing! She would have felt so guilty letting him go to the infirmary in such an embarrassing state. It was around his mouth, too, so Nene started there. She grabbed a piece of toilet paper and carefully wiped at his face. Teru’s eyes drifted to hers. Nene quickly glanced away, her own face growing hot. Of all the people to find unwell, it just had to be this beautiful guy who would make her heart race the entire time. This would be difficult.

Nene flushed the toilet paper away and then turned her attention to his soiled shirt. She would use the small towel she always kept on her to clean his shirt just this one time.

“Um, would you like me to clean your shirt?” Nene offered shyly.

“Ah... yes, please....” Teru muttered. Then he loosened his tie and began unbuttoning his shirt. Nene froze, flying into a blind panic. Minamoto Teru was taking his shirt off right in front of her.

“Um!” Nene cried, flapping her hands around uselessly, unsure how to verbally convey ‘I think I’ll faint if I see you shirtless’.

She quickly glanced away as Teru began to shrug off the shirt. Don’t panic, don’t panic, don’t panic, she chantes in her head. Her face felt like it was on fire. She was at as much risk of overheating as he was. Then, he was holding out his shirt and tie. Nene took them without looking at Teru and dumped them in the sink. She rinsed only the parts that needed rinsing, so that it would dry faster, and then held the shirt and tie under the dryer for a while. When it was time to return the clean clothes to Teru, Nene promptly lost all the composure she had regained in the last five to ten minutes. She couldn’t believe she had to see him shirtless again. This was too much for her heart to bear.

“They’re as good as new!” Nene announced with a smile. Teru was unconscious on the bathroom floor, curled up beside the toilet. “Minamoto-senpai!” Nene quickly knelt beside him and poked his shoulder until he stirred. He moaned and stared up at Nene blearily.

“Ah.... thank you....” Teru took his clothes back from Nene and pulled them over himself like a blanket. Oh god, he was so cute. But he couldn’t stay here.

“Um! Senpai, we should probably get you to the infirmary now...” Nene pointed out nervously.

“It’s nice in here....” Teru murmured, eyes falling shut again. “The women’s bathroom smells so much nicer than the men’s....”

“If you go to the infirmary, you can sleep in a comfy bed!” Nene tried. Fortunately, it seemed to appeal to Teru. He sluggishly sat up, his shirt and tie falling off him to expose his stomach which was about as toned as Nene had imagined. This would seriously be the death of her. Nene’s heart skipped a beat, and her eyes darted to a spot on the wall beside Teru’s head, which she stared at intensely until he was fully dressed again. He hadn’t bothered tucking his shirt back in. It was strange to see him like this, dazed and dishevelled, sprawled in the girls’ bathroom. It was a side of the flawless student council president she had never seen before. Then again, he seemed really out of it right now, so of course he would be acting like this.

Teru’s second attempt at standing up went about as well as his first. It was as if his legs were made of jelly. Nene took his arm and draped it over her shoulder and pulled him to his feet. He towered over her, and the feeling of his body against hers made her stomach flutter. This was far too close for her. She needed to get him to the infirmary as soon as possible. Nene put an arm behind his slender back for extra support and carefully walked Teru out of the women’s bathroom.

Luckily, there was no one in the corridor right now to witness this strange occurrence. The walk to the infirmary was quite slow, and Teru had stopped speaking altogether. Nene wondered if she would have been able to coax him off the floor if she had left him there any longer. He was running out of energy too quickly.

When they reached the infirmary, Teru was panting slightly and his face was dripping with sweat.

“We made it!” Nene cheered, to which Teru nodded drowsily. Then, he flopped onto a bed and passed out immediately, snoring softly. Just like that, her work was done. She had saved Minamoto Teru from being discovered in the girls’ bathroom and looked after him when he couldn’t look after himself. It gave her an incredible sense of accomplishment to see him safe and fast asleep. After making sure the nurse attended to him, Nene got out of there as fast as she could. She was definitely too flustered. She loved Teru, but she wasn’t ready for that experience just now. His looks and personality were overwhelmingly dazzling in such a large dose. There was no way she could focus in class now. His face would just be flashing through her mind for the entire lesson.

The next day, Kou brought a letter to school from Teru, thanking her for helping him.

🔫: Who is more likely to start a water gun/water balloon fight?

 With Ryoma, As far as water fights go, I’d say I’m definitely more likely to start one. It wouldn’t end well for me though. I’d start it by like, hitting him once. Then everything from then on travels at the speed of light and I’m drenched. I still got a w a y s t o g o in beating Ryoma in a water fight. But it’s the fun that counts, And I’m definitely up for that! Maybe I’d have a small chance at being able to avoid it, considering I was pretty good at dodgeball when I played that. But overall, I'm soaked and he's looking all smug. 

With Teruteru, It could honestly go either way. I can see him starting a water fight because, in one sentance, He go 👁👁. But his plan will only succeed if he hits me. Which I HIGHLY doubt would work because I’m super good at not getting hit, Going off how good I was at dodgeball. I couldn’t throw for shit but when it comes to avoiding them, I’m golden. I’d most likely start it for fun, which would lead him to going along with it, both for fun and my other point on why he’d start it.

🍴: Which one of you cooks for the other?

Teruteru, Hanamura: The ultimate Cook or as he’d prefer, chef. He’d definitely cook a buncha stuff for me and it’s always good quality because WOW HE’S THE ULTIMATE CHEF!! THAT'S SO GOOD!!! I mean, I’d try to do the same and I’ve been told I’m decent but it wouldn’t be up to his standards. I’d still try though!! If he’s willing to put in so much effort to cook for me, I would love to return the favour!! 

Ryoma, Considering he was in prison for a presumably long time, I'd assume he’s either forgotten how to make food or just hasn’t had quality stuff in ages. I don’t see the prison food being that good, So I would take it upon myself to make him anything and everything I can. Introduce him to the wonders that is good food and I’d LIVE for every little time his eyes light up because he tasted something he REALLY liked! Let me tell you, I'd cry SO HARD. 

🌲: What outdoor activity do you like doing with your f/o?

I’m not an outdoorsy person. I spend many a night indoors and hiding away from the outside world. So Ryoma would definitely drag me out to do outdoorsy things with him. I’m not complaining though, I enjoy all the time I get to spend with him! I’d say my personal favourite however isssssss, you guessed it, TENNIS! I don’t enjoy sports all that much. But seeing Ryoma so happy and enjoying himself? LIKE HE DESERVES? Bruh. Of course I’m over the moon having fun because he is. I love seeing people so passionate about their interests and talents. So seeing Ryoma, Eevn if it’s only for a moment, let himself be genuinely happy. That’s the best outdoors activity in the world to me. 

I don’t see Teru being too much of an outdoorsy person either, Aside from most likely going down to a farmers market. I always thought those were super cool! He’d probably get all invested in the nice ingredients then show me how to tell what's the best and watching him ramble on about WHY this one apple is better than the because of the colour or something, just makes me feel all brrrrrr cause he not only trusts me with this but he’s enjoying himself! But if that doesn’t count as an outdoorsy activity. I guess just going on walks, Like we just vibe on walks and talk about whatever. Being able to just talk makes me really happy so if I can’t choose the farmer’s market as an activity, Definitely would go with walking!!!

But overall I’d be happy to do any sorta outdoors activity, As long as it isn’t skiing. I’ve had a bad experience with it so anything but that

 

👕: Who borrows the others hoodies/clothing?

Okay SO I may or may not take his clothes. They’re always baggy, or atleast baggier than what I usually wear since I don’t feel too comfortable in skin tight clothing / showing my body off in general. So yeah, I probably steal his clothes but I imagine he’d do it too. Like we’d just have mutual “ you wanna borrow this in exchange for [ insert article of clothing ] “. That's what happens. Also us both doing that fond smile when the other sleeping walking into the room wearing the others clothes. I would honestly LIVE for that and that alone.

Ryoma? It’s kinda hard to borrow his clothes. Cause y’know, He’s like 3’5'' tall… So I hardly believe anything but his hat would fit me. I don’t see him letting me borrow it too often, But when he does It makes me mega happy! And he probably thinks I look nice. I’d let him borrow pretty much all my clothes but he probably wouldn’t want anything?? At Least not that I can think of beside my hat. We do mutual hat trades if he's up for it, and when he is? Poggers.  

🎉: Do you and your f/o have any holidays in particular you like to celebrate? What do you do together to make it special?

Uh, Ryoma isn't much for celebrating. So most holidays we'd probably just chill inside and do whatever we can together. However, I feel like he'd love Valentine's day!! Like I wanna set up a cute romantic dinner date at home, Unveil it to him and when I see that smile? That one in a million smile? That's all I need. And that alone, Makes the holiday special!!! Then we'd enjoy ourselves and I'd let Ryoma pick what we'd do next and we'd have a blast. I'd get him to enjoy himself like he rightfully deserves and just,,,, yes. 

 Hmmm, I feel like when it comes to holidays, Teru and I would be most interested in either halloween or Valentines. I love spooky shit, anything unexplained or unsolved is always super fun. I also enjoy costumes while Teru would also be interested in costumes for a /different/ reason. You can probably figure out yourself. But it also lets him make a buncha spooky themed treats to hand out to friends and trick or treaters!! Valentine's day is just us… being stupid feral romantic. Like we're doing stupid cliché couple things cause Teru said " We're doing this ". It makes me feel all fuzzy so, I mean, Yeah it's real special to me and I think it would be for him too!!!

 

💬: Are there any specific pet names you or your f/o uses?

I use Babe, Honey and Sweetheart for both of them, those are just my default affectionate nicknames. But I do have individual ones for each of them!!!! 

I can't think of anything they'd call me. I kinda feel weird thinking about affectionate pet names they would give me?? That and also I can't see myself being referred by pet names because I don't know??? I guess I don't feel like I deserve a sorta term of endearment lol. 

Oh! I have a bunch for Teru. I, uh, Sometimes call him Teddy bear / Teddy ( Teru Bear if I'm feeling punny. ) because he’s all cuddly and cute like one, I could hug and snuggle him for hours on end. I also call him Romeo and Casanova due to the romantic connotations and I think they fit him well! Teru is just like, A world renowned nickname for him so I don't feel like I need to list it but uh, Just in case!

For Ryoma, Ace and Love cause I think those are kinda funny, cause they’re tennis terms. NO I’m not creative nor should I be encouraged please stop me. But I also call him kitten from time to time, This is the one I go with if I'm trying to fluster his ass and can't lie, My favourite. Cause he's all small and cute, Plus with that hat he looks like a cat. Therefore kitten. And that's adorable!!!

The Irony of Life (MP100|One-Shot| Fan-Fic Commission)

A short SeriRei one-shot that was commissioned

In which Reigen reflects on his 15 year old mindset and realizes just how wrong he was.

When Reigen was 15 years old he accepted the fact that he was never going to have kids even if he wanted to. With a single glance to his parents, he doubted he would be any better than them and no child deserved a fate like that.  

Yet irony had a way of creeping into his life and taking away his choice, because by the time he was 30 he somehow amassed an army of children who all looked up to him and visited him often, none of which were related to him in any way.  

It had all started with one kid and just ended up snowballing into more and more children before he could even try to stop it. Half of the pictures he has on his clipboard in the office have turned into photos of him and the kids on outings; the time Teru and the Kageyama brothers joined them on their trip to the hot springs, his birthday party with all of them, Ritsu getting thanked by his first client, Rei doing a fortune telling, and so on and so forth.  

He hates to say it, but it’s starting to look like a mother’s scrapbook and he is neither a mother nor in possession of an actual scrapbook (though he has considered investing in one at this rate). And although Mob doesn’t visit the office often anymore, too busy focusing more on his studies and the Body Improvement Club, he accidentally ended up sending more kids his way to replace him.  

More specifically in the form of a bunch of rather loud girls that Tome dragged in hardly with his approval and his office had turned into their hangout spot (much to his dismay when he is trying to work).  

Even now, at the end of the work day, they lay sprawled all over the couch and chairs talking and laughing away as if he hadn't already turned off most of the lights and locked the windows in a subtle way to tell them to get up already.  

Most days Reigen was left alone like this– given that Serizawa typically heads off early for night school– however today was a lucky day and he didn’t have classes which is a godsend since Serizawa is much better with kids than Reigen.  

“Come on, girls. Pack up, we are closing soon.” Serizawa’s voice snapped the girls out of their conversation much faster than his ever would, it was a perfect mix of a stern yet gentle demand that sounded much more like a suggestion making it much more appealing to listen to.

With a ‘tsk’ Reigen looked over to chime in:  

“We are closed,” he sneered before snapping the blinds to the windows shut.  

Imminent whines traveled from the girls.  

“Come on, just a couple more minutes!” one of them pleaded dramatically. It was almost enough to make Reigen roll his eyes.  

“Do you want to be locked in the office?”

“Cool! Like a sleepover!”

“No, no sleepovers in my office.”

Tome leaps up, a tale tell sign she has an idea  

“What if you give me the keys?! I can lock up after we all decide to leave or we stay the night!”

“Absolutely not.” He doesn’t even need to think about that one

“What!? Why?! I'm super reliable?”

A smirk crept on Reigen’s face.  

“Ah yes, like that time you got lost in the cursed woods, or the time Dimple had to possessed you and punch your teacher, or that time you assaulted one of our clients, or when you-”  

“Fine, fine I get it!” the girls were giggling and Tome’s face had turned a bright shade of pink as she slumped in defeat.  

Before he could say much else Serizawa stepped in once again,  

“How about this: Tomorrow we have a case down at Cape Cop Avenue, if we head off now you can tag along for it.”

The girls cheered, accidently having adopted Tome’s curiosity for ghosts and other such creatures. With their minds satisfied somewhat with the idea of a new activity they began to gather their bags and the homework they hadn't even touched the entire time at the office.  

Usually Reigen would scold Serizawa for promising something like that, but the location was an apartment complex that Serizawa had scouted yesterday and as expected there weren’t actually any ghosts there. The scariest thing at the apartment complex was their plumbing system.  

Regardless, Serizawa would be sure to give them a show (thank god none of them were espers).

It wasn’t long until they all began piling out. Somehow it has become a habit for Reigen to walk the girls home and tonight was no exception, the only difference being that Serizawa decided to join them.  

The first destination was for Mika who lived only 3 blocks down from Reigen’s office, she gave an enthusiastic wave goodbye and promised to take a bunch of pictures tomorrow (even though Reigen tried explaining it would be hard to capture a ghost on camera).

Up next was their tall friend whose name Reigen hasn’t caught just yet. She seemed to stare a lot at them when they worked and doodle them but she was the politest of the bunch so Reigen didn’t mind her all that much.  

Then Tome, who groaned loudly as Keiko reminded her of the homework due tomorrow before sulking back into her house with a small wave. Misa lives just two houses down from Tome and jogged ahead since she forgot about the homework too.  

And then last but not least Keiko who without the company of her friends becomes rather bashful and shy only uttering small ‘thank you’s’ and ‘good night’s’ as she scurries into her house.  

With the girls all safely in their houses Reigen without meaning to let out a soft sigh as he stretched, finally allowing himself to relax away from the kids. Usually he’d keep on his facade for Serizawa but lately that illusion has been melting away and luckily, it’s been mutual.  

Serizawa has begun to relax too around him, being more confident and even being so bold as to tease him. They had also begun to work fluidly with each other, understanding what the other needed or wanted with simple quick glances and they practically danced around each other in their morning routines. Reigen even trusted him enough to give him copies of the keys to the office, it was nice to have someone to lean on when you needed it.  

Neither of them said a word but they both began walking in the same direction. Serizawa lived just a bit further from Reigen in a different and better apartment complex than his so it made sense they were sticking together.  

Nights like these were rare but appreciated, his whole life Reigen has always felt like he was supposed to be running just to catch up; but walking like this alongside someone you trust and care about is nice. It makes him feel like he can finally walk instead of run, like there is no rush.

And Serizawa is a good person and perfect company, initially Reigen assumed they didn’t have much in common but as time has moved on it turned out they do and they frequently found themselves talking each other's ear off. Mostly Reigen more than Serizawa but it’s a mutual exchange at least.  

Though right now they seem to appreciate the silence, the girls were a nice change to have in the office but they also tend to drain the two of their energy with how loud and energetic they get, not to mention the trouble and danger they seem to like to get into. The thought alone is already giving Reigen a headache.

“Reigen?” With the sound of his name, he snaps out of it quickly, looking up to Serizawa only letting out a small ‘hm’ of acknowledgement.  

Reigen catches the brief moment Serizawa was looking at him before staring forward instead.

“I know we’ve been busy lately but I was wondering if you would like to join me tomorrow for dinner at my place?”  

Now that was extra new, Reigen has never been over to Serizawa’s apartment. Something about it felt a bit too personal, maybe it's because he hasn’t been over to a friend's place since he was in middle school nor has he had guests over willingly at his own apartment.    

“What’s the occasion?”  

The question makes Serizawa visibly tense, although the man has become more confident in himself, he finds moments like these where he still falters in his choices.  

“Oh! Uh well I just um thought it would be nice to have some company over you know, I wanted to try out this new recipe and I thought it would be nice to have another taste tester and well I’m also trying to get used to having more people over at my place and I-”  

Before he could go on another list of excuses Reigen interrupts,  

“Sure, sounds nice. It’s been a while since I had a home cooked meal anyways.”

The response seemed to calm him down, his shoulders untensing and letting out a not so subtle sigh of relief.  

As casual as Reigen is trying to act though he could feel his heart hammering in his chest in excitement. Every time he’s tried to have a moment alone with Serizawa one of them has always been either busy or with other plans so it would be great to finally have time.  

But Reigen isn't an idiot, he knows exactly why he’s excited for this. He’s noticed how things between them have changed recently and perhaps it’s wishful thinking but he’s noticed from Serizawa too, when his gaze lingers, when he relaxes into soft touches, and the change of his mood from around his friends as opposed to him.

Along with this came a new tension, and not the kind where you want to murder each other or fuck, no it was something different. It was the kind of tension where both parties are trying to read each other and think they know what the other is thinking but they don’t want to make any unwarranted assumptions.  

Reigen’s always been great at reading people, and usually he wouldn’t doubt himself but this is different in many ways. Serizawa is not only a friend but an employee, and he’s being reintroduced to the world away from all the hardships he faced and the trauma he’s brought along with him. If he is right about this, he needs to be careful.

Serizawa is perfectly capable of making his own choices but he needs to go at his own pace and to push anything onto Serizawa wouldn’t be fair.      

There’s another thing Reigen had accepted when he was 15 years old, and it was that no one could ever love him for who he truly is. And that is a firm belief he’s kept, even now as Serizawa leans to be closer to him and he leans back.  

But then again irony loves his company. So maybe 15-year-old Reigen could be wrong about that too.

part 1: im a confident person, whats visible both in my looks and personality. i love standing out of the crowd, so wearing extravagant clothes and crazy hair colors is something that im well known of. but i dont have a particular aesthetic, so my clothing style is various (grunge, pastel, boho, sexy, vintage, tomboy; basically everything). even though im 170 cm tall, i like wearing high heels a lot and tbh, it doesn't make me feel awkward or insecure when i'm being taller than some boys.

Ok. So uh... I can explain on why this is fairly long then my normal match ups.... Like at first I was gonna matching you with Terushima but as I kept rereading I found myself also matching you with Yachi???? I’m going to stay with Terushima mainly but Imma put some explanation for Yachi as well. So you get two matches basically lol.

Lets start with Terushima. He would LOVE your confidence in yourself, seeing how you express yourself through fashion is also something he can related to. Terushima would definitely be the type to show you off, like full on gestures to you like “THIS IS MY AMAZING (S/O)” and such. When you wear High heels though this man is dead on the floor, he is in heaven. Terushima looks like he is smooth af but we all know he is WEAK when it comes to his (S/O) so have fun short circuiting his brain.

Honestly? I don’t think Teru would mind letting you take the lead. It’s obvious since he was captain of Johzenji that he too is a leader in his own right. But there has to be times where he is just...not having it? and needs to be looked after himself. Teru is smart enough to recognize that, so if anything he would gladly let you take care of things if he can take care of you as well.

This man is a lot smarter then most people will give him credit for, he is in college prep classes for god sakes! Not to mention he is super in tune with the people around him. So when Teru sees that you need help he will definitely step in to help explain anything that needs to be explained. You can probably ask him the same thing 100 times and he will not think anything less of you. I wrote this in another match up about Iwazumi but I think it fits Terushima here as well. If you zone out he will help you tune into the world when its needed. Terushima knows its gonna happen no matter what he does, so he would probably relay the information you missed back to you when you come back or make sure you don’t hurt yourself from not paying attention. If you want a system to help you keep focus he will be more then willing to help find what works for you! I wouldn’t be surprised if he already looked up stuff on the internet before to see what he can do.

Terushima can’t really stay quiet, in fact I can see him fidgeting because of all the energy he has. To distract himself, he would probably be playing video games or watching movies when y’all cuddle or if you want some quiet time. Though there are times after practice where he is just gonna crash from working out and just wants to be held as he relaxes. I think I stressed him being smart enough. HOWEVER, YES Terushima can hold deep conversations! He might crack a joke every once in awhile to make you smile or laugh but he can play devil’s advocate really well.

Honestly its at half way through part 5 where I started to rethink about my choice. Terushima in canon was being extremely pushy towards getting Kiyoko’s phone number and I can only imagine what other questionable things he has done. So understandably that would be an automatic turn off, since you talked about having bad experiences with guys. Terushima would have to probably learn that maybe doing that to people he is attracted to isn’t the best way to get an (S/O). So it would take a lot of growth on his part to gain your trust before you two actually get into a relationship.

So what originally made me thing about matching you with Yachi is that we know she is Interning at a Design Company. I might be jumping here but combining that and the posters she made for Karasuno she actually would probably would like to have you model a lot for her. Of course she will never force you into anything but seeing how confident you are and how your preference of style ranges so much, it would definitely something she would like to try out atleast. Yachi is also super careful though also fairly clumsy herself when startled. I don’t think she will be able to help you when you zone out but she wouldn’t be opposed to tuning you back. She will definitely be the type to suggest a system to help you, we seen her help Hinata and Kageyama with tests and the likes. So it wouldn’t be to much of an issue.

Yachi is pretty shy so she would probably like to hear about what you have to say and only occasionally chiming in with her own take. Cuddles and PDA will be something she will need to get used to though. It also goes with out saying that she would be super impressed that you know so many languages, however I think Yachi would be more interested in the cultures of those countries so she would ask you about that. Alrighty! 1. How long have you known you liked girls?

For two or three years I believe, might be a bit off I’m really bad at time perception.

2. Talk about the girl who made you realize you liked girls

Well my first crush was on a girl but I wasn’t physically attracted to her and loved her because I had known her for so long and cared about her so much. However the person that actually made me experience my first physical attraction to women which kinda blew off the cap and made me get to my current ‘ALL WOMEN ARE QUEENS’ state was actually a voice actress/stage actress, Ikuta Teru, aka the voice of Futaba from Revue Starlight. The first time I saw her in the Revue Starlight live action musical my brain short circuited and I was completely and utterly floored, it did NOT help that Teru’s an actual Casanova and spent most of her time on stage being a charming ladykiller so there was also that.

3. Are you in a relationship at the moment?

Nope.

4. Do you have a crush at the moment?

I... Don’t know actually. I’ve had one crush in my life and it was on a girl I had no chance with who also was just a horrendous match for me and that would’ve been a toxic relationship. I’ve had two maybe-crushes since. It’s really hard to tell if the feelings I have towards a different girl is actually a crush or me being so starved of healthy good relationships.

5. Describe your crush!

Well, uh, problem there. The girl I mentioned above had a tumblr. So I’m not gonna do that even though I’m not sure if it’s a crush or not. Generally speaking, the two girls that I’ve had maybe-crushes on (not my first crush) have one big thing in common-They’re kind. Incredibly kind. They make me feel... Well, they make me feel unquestionably loved. That’s why it’s so hard to sort my feelings out. My first crush emotionally felt the same as before I had said crush, the only change was me realizing just how much I cared about her. I have a lot of love in my heart and I love my friends so much, especially the ones that genuinely make me feel loved like these two. So yeah.

6. Do you tend to like more masculine, feminine, or androgynous girls?

I don’t really care about appearances, I find every single girl adorable, beautiful, or hot. If you mean the type that turns me into a gay disaster, it’d be more masculine leaning if that’s the phrasology you’re looking for. I mean my gay awakening was Ikuta freaking Teru so that should give a pretty good idea about my type. That and tomboys, a few years ago at a Theatre camp there was this girl who showed up every day wearing one of those shirts with massive holes in the sides that almost make it not a shirt anymore and a tanktop and for some reason always had a flannel tied around her waist and I literally couldn’t talk to her the whole week because every time I looked at her my brain malfunctioned.

7. Do you look/dress more masculine, feminine, or androgynous?

I don’t really put much thought into my appearance but I dress pretty androgynous though my first Prom I showed up wearing a Catra-inspired suit and I felt so goddamn cool so leaning towards Masculine a little.

8. What’s your gaydar like?

Accurate usually. It’s REALLY easy to pick fellow lesbians out since some of us have a pretty distinct way of dressing/acting.

9. Tall girls or short girls?

Short, it makes cuddles and hugs easier. Though I reiterate, appearance doesn’t matter too much to me at all.

10. Intimidating girls or kind girls?

KIND. Please please please kind! I’m a really positive person so I’ve attracted a LOT of negative people in my life and I want nothing more than my future girlfriend to be somebody who’s so genuine and kind with me that I don’t have to be scared in the back of my mind that they actually don’t like me.

11. Hugs or kisses?

I’ve never been kissed so hugs probably? I mean I’m touch starved so hugs are always good anyways.

12. Do you have an ideal ‘type’? What would they be like?

Not really, appearances don’t matter to me. My ‘type’ is kind, loving girls who are easy to read and never leave me second guessing myself or wondering if I did something wrong. Basically, the exact opposite of my first crush.

13. What’s your favourite personality trait of yours?

The fact that I am basically a Golden Retriever in a human body. I’m not exaggerating or joking, ask my mutuals and they’ll probably affirm the fact that I am a literal puppy.

14. What’s your favorite personality trait for a girl to have?

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; being kind. I’ve had my own kindness taken advantage of a LOT by people who called me a friend then turned around and emotionally abused me relentlessly. Someone who is genuinely kind, someone who cares about me not because they want something from me but because that’s just who they are... That’s my favorite personality trait.

15. What’s the best thing about liking girls?

where the actual entire fresh frosted fruity pebbles to I begin. How about how every girl is wonderful? How no matter what every girl is cute or beautiful? How they give really good hugs? How they’re so much easier to have a deeper emotional connection with? How all women, no joke, are queens?

Kind of? My fellow Lesbian’s that I know IRL are, uh, not... Not that great. I don’t know if friend is even the right word. My best friend’s a bi girl though so that counts.

17. Have you ever been to pride? If so, what was your first pride like?

Unfortunately no. I’m still very much closeted. I live in a small town in the middle of Kansas, it’s not safe.

Mhm! Especially the newer one with the oranges in it, not only do the colors actually mean something now but it’s also much more pleasing to look at with the contrast.

19. What was your first kiss with a girl like?

I’ve never been kissed, I’m still closeted.

I’ve never actually seen any LGBT+ movies, closeted, remember?

I actually don’t know any, then again I barely know any kind of celebrities in the first place.

My small friend group. The entire squad is LGBT+ so it was just another Tuesday.

25. Has anyone ever come out to you?

Kind of? My small friend group kinda did but it wasn’t a big thing it was just ‘Oh yeah by the way I’m a lesbian she’s a lesbian and she’s pan.’ and I was just all ‘A’ight.’

26. Have you found a community of lgbt+ people?

Online mostly. Like I said it’s not particularly safe for me to be out so unless I know FOR CERTAIN they’re LGBT+ and I also trust them a great deal I won’t ever tell a soul that I’m a Lesbian.

27. Do you have any older lgbt+ people you look up to?

Yeah, I think so. My friends I met on the Revue Starlight Hell discord server, at least I THINK they’re older than me but you never know.

28. Do you identify with butch/femme labels? 

Not quite, I mean, I’m kinda hard to sort into either. I like dressing sharp sometimes in a suit but also my hair is long and naturally incredibly curly and I normally dress real neutral so idk

29. Who’s your favorite fictional wlw?

These two, 100%. Their romance is literally two girls falling in love with their best friend and I can relate to that so much, not to mention they’re just so adorable and sweet they gave me diabetes a long time ago.

30. What experiences are you looking forward to having in the future (kissing a girl, going to pride, etc)?

Having a GF, having someone to cuddle, actually experiencing what a kiss is like, having someone to cuddle, finally going to Pride, did I mention having a cuddle buddy?

ritsu from mp100!!!!

What I think about this character:

For this, I’m just gonna straight-up copy and paste a post I made about Ritsu a couple weeks ago, because it sums up how I feel about him pretty well:

“I really wanna write something about Ritsu, because boy howdy do I remember a thing or two about being 12-13 years old, sitting on my own pile of corrosive and self-sabotaging mental illnesses that I had no idea about, with none of the adults around me suspecting anything was off because I was one of those goddamn gifted-and-talented kids who was a diligent student and nice to people. 15 years later and this is still Quite The Mood for me—”

(Important to note that his issues manifest themselves way differently than mine ever did, with all the anger and spite just bottling up until they exploded outward at everyone and everything. As to my own issues, they manifested a lot more like Serizawa’s did, with a buttload of paralyzing fear and hiding from the world.

All the people I ship romantically with this character:

Really only with Shou, but I gotta note that I am a person more than twice Ritsu’s age who teaches junior high schoolers for a living (I see their birthdays in the school computer and marvel at how these lil goblins were all Just Born Two Seconds Ago), I gotta say the concept of romantic shipping for the majority of the mp100 characters is a little weird for me. It’s more important to me that Ritsu has good friends and people supporting him. And Shou is definitely that for Ritsu. He’s the first person to tell him frankly and objectively how much potential he has to become a strong esper, and continues to tell him that, and comes to him for help because of it, and I know that means the world to Ritsu. But more importantly, of course, I think he immediately sees what kind of person Ritsu is without any of his bullshit pretenses he puts on for everyone else, and he genuinely likes him for it. I am all for Shou sending him terrible memes to make him smile if only at how stupid they are, and inviting himself over for video game tournaments and marathoning awful animes and Perfectly Average And Sweet adolescent pastimes that they both really need to engage in for their own sanity and healing.

People I ship non-romantically with this character:

I’m super charmed/amused by the idea of him being friends with Teru. I do think their personalities would grate on each other a bit (a good 80% of that is Ritsu being annoyed with Teru just for Being Himself), but there’s a lot to be said for them being the heart of the support group of People Who Said/Did Horrible Things To Mob And He Forgave Them Immediately Anyhow And They Still Feel Shitty About It. They’re both actively trying to become better people and I kind of want to see them supporting one another in that, even if it’s mostly unspoken. I also wanna see them sparring with each other, to practice/improve/blow off steam. (Also: “I swear to god I’ll reshave your head if you ever try to take my brother clothes shopping again—”)

My unpopular opinion about this character:

I’ve not interacted enough with the fandom to really know what’s unpopular, so it’s shameless headcanon-listing time! Fun ones first:

I think he likes cats, a lot, and the more hateful and standoffish the cat is the more he loves it. He’s probably too self-conscious to go around petting strays all time, but he’d really want to and would probably do it if he was with Mob or Shou.

I think he’s seen Breaking Bad at least five times. *whispers* He is the Danger.

I think the only meme-speak he will deign to use in regular conversation, much to Shou’s delight, is “Then Perish.”

I think he’s actually pretty terrible at board games, especially shogi or chess or something strategy-based, because he’s canonically prone to making crappy snap decisions, and the more he wants to beat the person the worse his game gets. He’s never played Reigen at anything because his dignity would not be able to handle the guaranteed loss.

More Serious Headcanon is that he’s got sensory issues—which is shameless projection of my own neurological disorder onto a character I love but I do not fucking care. The way Sensory Processing Disorder manifests for me is physical pain/serious discomfort and certain touches and sensations (it can be completely arbitrary what sets it off and what doesn’t), pain or tingling around your spine at certain pitches or volumes of sound. Even stupid things like needing a billion blankets on you to sleep so you feel weighted down properly or clothing tags bothering you way too much. And the big one is not being able to maintain physical contact with someone for very long/avoiding it when you can, which people can easily take personally. This would work really well for Ritsu, I think, who probably the least touchy-feely person in the series, and who spends so much time alone. Being sensory-avoiding is isolating in itself, and it’d give a believable extra layer to the things that already make him feel isolated. (Also, the canon fact that he almost never listens to music—headphones can be a bitch sometimes for SPD because if you’re not careful your own music can hurt you because of the pitches in your ears.)

One thing I wish would happen/had happened to this character in canon:

Here, have three:

A proper, cathartic conversation with Mob after the 7th Division arc—in other words, let this child have a good long cry, not just the 5ish seconds/single page of it we got in canon.

Ritsu figuring out something’s seriously wrong after Mob comes home at the end of the Mogami arc. I’m of the mind that Mob probably didn’t ever tell anyone what happened in his six months of Mogami-hell, because he didn’t want to upset anyone or make it their problem, but damn it I wish he had, and I think if Ritsu were to figure out something was up that it’d be when Mob’s going around thanking everyone like he said he would. It may be wishful thinking that either of them would be good enough at communicating with each other for a conversation like that to get off the ground and actually be healing for Mob, but I want them to have fumbled through it and tried.

And finally, I want him to have some actual meaningful bonding time with Reigen. Ritsu may not like Reigen as a person, but you can’t tell me that somebody who’s chosen to make a living out of deceiving people doesn’t know a thing or two about self-loathing, self-sabotage and hopelessness, and how to identify it in others. It’d be a tall order for him to get Ritsu to sit down and listen to him, but it’d it be so goddamn good for him to feel validated by an adult who genuinely understands and wants the best for him.
