Hey guys, did you know that if you're queer you are, in fact, still capable of sexual harassment? I know, seems silly when you say it out loud, but a lot of people in practice seem to think it's not true!

#da #and thankfully I haven't gotten a lot of this myself but definitely irl friends and people online have in droves #idk I know we're all traumatized and repressed and poorly socialized but omfg some people are actually on a path to becoming whole pests #and they don't even realize it! being trans or gay will never preclude you from being a jerkwad #and your reminder that being queer doesn't inherently make anybody a safe person #I also know it sucks that wider society sees queerness itself as predatory harassment just by existing #which I think is a huge factor in why we don't address this behavior #but tbh I think casually people are way too comfortable trampling over other people's boundaries thinking we're just more open and evolved #untrue! we are all living in the same toxic pool that produces cishet predators and that can just as easily sink into us and our spaces #and I almost fear it could be more prevalent pronounced and glossed over for all the above reasons #(whispering so no one sees but sorry allosexuals you are still the number 1 manufacturer of harassment)#not everybody is sex favorable and open to any conversations like that and puh lease remember consent is important- nay. mandatory. to have #hough I am tired
