Angst Lupin HC

Here’s one of my favourite trope of Lupin’s gang: one sided pining (warning: Jigen is an ass)

One night, Jigen is having a drink with Lupin and it seems like it’s going quite well, where Lupin is getting all touchy and flirty with Jigen. When Jigen thinks they are gonna kiss, Lupin gets a phone call from Fujiko, asking him if they wanna meet up now (she perfectly knows that Lupin is drinking with Jigen and Jigen has a feeling for Lupin). Lupin says yes without a second thought and dashes out from their hideout, leaving Jigen alone. Completely pissed off at the treatment of Lupin and how he’s always the one feeling miserable, he drinks himself to blindness. After an hour or so, Goemon comes back from wherever he was, noticing how messy the hideout is, littered with many empty bottles. He sees Jigen quaffing down anither bottle of whisky and scowls at him. Jigen sees Goemon just standing at the doorway so he beckons him over and tells him to sit down next to him. Goemon slowly approaches the couch and sit down, while frowning at the stench of alcohol.

Goemon: you are drinking a lot tonight

Jigen: so what, I need it tonight

Goemon: what happened

Jigen: Lupin ran off to Fujiko like a fucking dog

Goemon: that’s nothing unsual of Lupin

Jigen: yeah yeah

Goemon: Jigen, you need to stop drinking. You must had a lot by now, you-

Jigen: oh shut it, I know I’m going to have a frigging headache tomorrow, but what is it compared to what I’m feeling right now. I rather forget everything, you know

Goemon: that’s not a very healthy way to deal with your problem

Jigen: I ain’t a fucking monk like you Goemon.

Jigen: Wait, you can tell me, how do you deal with it

Goemon: what do you mean

Jigen: I know you’ve been having some feelings for me

Goemon: .... no I don’t

Jigen: oh please, like I don’t notice your glances. You think you are being subtle? It couldn’t have been more obvious! You can’t lie and hide your emotions!

Jigen: Now fucking tell me, how do you deal with it? The fucking pain in your heart

Goemon: I don’t know what you are talking about!

Jigen: yeah you do!

Goemon: you are clearly drunk, you don’t know what you are talking about!

Jigen: oh for fuck’s sake!

Jigen then throws himself on Goemon, pinning him and kissing him hard. Goemon tries to wrestle him off but he can’t help but gets carried away. When he starts to completely emerse himself into the sensation, he hears Jigen whispering Lupin’s name. Dream shattered, Goemon throws Jigen off himself and knocks him to the ground. Feeling absolutely wrecked, Goemon runs out from the room and disappears into the night.

Next morning, Lupin comes back home humming to himself. He sees the mess of the hideout and Jigen passed out on the couch. Shaking his head, he wakes Jigen by shaking his body. Groaning, Jigen wakes up. At the same time, Lupin receives a text from Goemon, saying that he won’t be returning and to not go looking for him.

Lupin: omg Goemon said he’s not coming home. What the hell, we got a heist tomorrow and it’s all planned out!

Jigen: what?

Lupin: he’s gone! What are we gonna do now! The plan won’t work unless we have Goemon

Jigen: forget it Lupin

Lupin: what do you mean forget it? He can’t just disappear on us like that! We gotta bring him back! Now where the fuck did he go

Jigen: I’m telling you, forget the plan!

Lupin: why, what’s going on

Jigen: I fucked it up

Lupin: what did you do

Jigen:....

Lupin: what did you do!

(And then, there’ll be reverse “pining” where Jigen feels absolutely shit about what he did and goes on search for Goemon, while remembering all their interactions and slowly starting to develop some feelings for Goemon. Lupin also feels bad about the way he treated Jigen, knowing how he’s always been there for him despite anything that happened between them. Fujiko also feels bad because even though her intention was to hurt Jigen, cos she was jealous of their relationship, she didn’t want to ruin the gang, least of all hurt Goemon. So everyone starts to work reversely, mending their issues with each other)
