rain is a really good song and it’s so underrated :(
agree! a lot of bts’ older songs with that vibe are underrated. that’s why i love ly her’s outro so much. that vibe gives me a lot of old school bts nostalgia
Anonymous said: Kale and mushroom and onions pizza? Some ppl don’t like just veggies on pizza but I think it’s delicious…😅
disagree ;;;; i’m a plain cheese pizza type of person lol
Anonymous said: 🗣📣BEING A FAN DOES NOT MEAN YOU HAVE TO OBSESS OVER, ALWAYS AND ONLY VOTE FOR, AND HAVE TO LIKE EVERY SINGLE THING RELATED TO A GROUP/PERSON. IF YOU LIKE THEM, THAT MEANS YOURE A FAN. NO MORE OR LESS THAN ANYONE ELSE IN THE FANDOM. Thank you for comeing to my Ted talk
AGREEEEE. honestly the only time i ever really go on twitter is during comebacks just bc i like to keep up with stuff, but that’s also the worst time for manager fans. like i have 17 aneurysms scrolling through those tweets with warped ass views on what a fan is
Anonymous said: People need to stop being disrespectful to other idols. Like asking for another idol during something they’re obviously not around for. Like hobi’s vlives and stuff. If you’re going to stan a group, you need to be respectful and stan each member even if they aren’t your bias.
agreeee. that annoys tf out of me. if someone’s doing a vlive, stop asking for other members. let them talk about what they wanna talk about. also just in general stop asking about bts on other group’s vlives. it’s embarrassing, and definitely annoying for the group you’re spamming
Anonymous said: Hobi shouldn’t feel the need to be 110% excited all the time and be screaming... not everyone can be that high tension all the time and I feel really sorry for him bc i always think about when he said he feels he has to be like excited bc of his stage name..
agree! i wish he didn't feel the need to be upbeat all time just for the sake of others. you’re allowed to seem down or even just sit there neutrally. being the life of the party is definitely exhausting, and i hope he understands that it’s okay to just relax and take time to himself
Anonymous said: Idk if anybody here cares but you know when a band member (not Kpop necessarily) leaves the group and goes to make solo music? Like Camila Cabello left fifth harmony? I feel like the solo music is always better than the group music and idk if it’s because that person gets more creative opportunities or what.
i agree, though i think it depends on the type of music you’re into. often times when people go solo from groups, they all do wildly different genres. so it just depends on your taste i think ;;;; plus once you go solo you’ve been in the industry in a while and grown as a person, so that could also be a reason
Anonymous said: Unpopular opinion: Just because I like to read BTS smut every now and then, doesn’t mean I’m thirsty for them. I just like if the story has a good plot and great writing. Like yours!!!! 😊
i agree. usually i’m not reading a story for the smut specifically. i just want a story. though there are admittedly times when i am just in the mood for a raunchy smut lol
Anonymous said: a lot of people disagree but skinny-shaming is a thing? i always get shit for being flat and having really thin arms.
i agree that it definitely can be a thing. i mean i’ve heard people say insulting comments about people being too skinny. some people legitimately can’t help it. putting on weight is just difficult for them. it’s unfortunate that people’s bodies are always under scrutiny
Anonymous said: bangtan’s fashion is really fuckin nice but sometimes they wear clothes that are soooo eccentric(?) i mean, they pull it off but any non-celebrity person would look so weird njsjkncs like hobi’s oversized balenciaga shirt lmao
lolol i agree. like i personally would never wear some of the stuff that they do, but hey it’s what they like so that’s all that matters
Anonymous said: Jungkooks undercut 🤤
i agree with and support all undercuts lol
Anonymous said: Jungkook with tattoos ❣ (on that note all of them should be allowed to do whatever they want to their body its not up to anyone to approve or disapprove 💪)
agree that they should be able to wear / do whatever they want to their bodies without other’s opinions dictating them. just let them be
Anonymous said: Yoongi looks better with a lil bit of chub in his face
agree. they all look better with chub. though i’m the type of person that literally never notices a difference in their weights. people are like oh [insert member] looks like they lost too much weight, and i’m like they look the exact same to me but alright lol. though i don’t like speculating on things like their weight in the first place. they’re adults and they can handle their health
Anonymous said: I think shipping is okay but I doubt any of bts would ever really be in romantic relationships with each other simply bc it’s unprofessional and could cause problems for the group
i agree, but i think most people involved in shipping think this. that it’s not serious. it’s just for fun. but it’s like with anything. the delusional fans get the most attention compared to the normal fans that keep to themselves and don’t harass people
Anonymous said: bts’ military exemption shouldn’t even be considered. they special, but they ain’t that special. ☕️
i agree, but i did read the article that this is in reference to, and it wasn’t just about bts. it was about kpop artists not getting exemptions like classically trained musicians, and kdrama actors not getting exemptions like theater actors, ect. they just used bts as an example to get people to click on the article. military service is an important topic over there, so whatever they decide is their business. i’m not korean, so i don’t have an opinion really
these were the opinions i didn’t get to last night! thanks to everyone that participated!

170604 Taehyung Handshake Event Fan Account
YALL I TOUCHED KIM TAEHYUNG’S HAND OH MY GODDDDDDDD.
I’m a few days late sitting down and actually typing it out, but i basically live-tweeted the whole thing haha. Also this is super long bc I just wanted to write it all down, including the process of getting into this event since I didn’t even really get to talk to him.
This first section is about the process I went through to get into this event and me FREAKING OUT WITH NERVES, if you just want to read about Tae just skip to his name in all caps lol.
The way the process worked is that I entered a lottery a few weeks ago with codes for either a hi-touch with all members or a handshake with just one. My odds were better for just an individual member so that’s what I registered for. I ended up winning and the member I was assigned was Taehyung. Let me just say, he did not disappoint lol.
I showed up at Tokyo Big Sight a few hours early with my friend because we were super nervous/excited. I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to say, mostly because I didn’t know what language to use lol. Tae’s Japanese is reallyyyyy good and my Korean is nonexistent so I figured if I could figure out what I even wanted to say I would just use Japanese. (I ended up not saying anything bc I’m a NUB).
ANYWAY, my friend and I got in the first line, which was the line to GET into line in the first place and waited for like 15 minutes. We were in the last group of the day who got to meet the boys and they had a break in between each session of handshakes. When we finally entered the lines that separated each member we were ID’d and our tickets were scanned. They were really strict about not letting people exchange members (which has pros and cons tbh).
Then when we were standing in line we realized all the members were in individual booths so we wouldn’t even be able to catch a glimpse of them just saying hello to fans, which was honestly really upsetting. I feel like it makes the fans more rabid when they can’t even LOOK at the idols.
SO TAEHYUNG
BOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY I was like 10th in line and it was over SO QUICKLY. I could hear him talking right before I entered the room and his voice was BEAUTIFUL like, to hear it without any obstructions really highlighted his natural musical cadence tbh.
I entered the room and he was just BOUNCING from one end to the other. He grabbed my hand and said "HELLO! THANK YOU!” in Japanese hahaha, which is reallyyyy funny because I am very much not Japanese. After he got done saying it he did a double-take and realized I wasn’t Japanese and looked slightly confused for a moment, but by then I was already out the door.
He was wearing the royal blue velvet jacket and he looked like ROYALTY. Everyone says he’s super attractive up close and I have to agree. He was soooo pretty I don’t think I’ll ever get over it. His hands were really cool and soft and I felt like my hand was dwarfed by his (I have really small hands in the first place lol). His hair was all ruffled because he was really quickly walking from one end of the booth to the other with the fan while holding their hand. The staff just seemed to be really enamoured with him because of how lively he was. They were standing to the side laughing when the fans entered and saw him.
After leaving the booth my friend and I fangirled and died on the inside because we couldn’t believe it was already over. I saw a girl wearing a sign with Jimin’s face and I just HAD TO KNOW how his handshake was.
She said that his handshake was really strong and “manly” very カッコイイ (Japanese word for like, cool/attractive). She imitated the like, “strength” of his handshake for me and I DIED. In comparison Tae kind of... gently held my hand? Where Jimin actually gripped and shook her hand, if that makes any sense??
WELL sorry for my ramblings! I hope that if anyone reads this they enjoy it hahaha.

hello!! same anon that asked for the recs, dw at all! I trust in your taste even if you say that you’re picky (I’m actually quite picky as well!)
I’ve watched the guest and I totally agree with every single thing you said about it and the main cast as well. it’s SO good in such a unique way in terms of the plot as well as the chemistry of the main characters. I’ve been seeing beyond evil tweets around twitter but haven’t really watched it yet, but I think I will now since apparently it’s going to be on netflix soon? it really looks like it has Those Vibes, if you get what I mean 😏 there’s a surprisingly amount of twitter accounts centered around beyond evil and *cough* the most popular ship, so I’m definitely gonna be watching that soon. a bit unrelated, but do you happen to have a twitter account for fandom related stuff? as for the merciless, it sounds super interesting (and has im si-wan in it) so I might give this one a chance later on!! thank you so much for the very detailed reccomendations! >:3c
I’ve watched the guest and I totally agree with every single thing you said about it and the main cast as well.
I'm soooo glad that you've watched The Guest and that you agreed with me about the goodness of the show!!! It will always stay at the top of my fave list, no doubt.
it really looks like it has Those Vibes, if you get what I mean 😏
Yeah, I get what you mean 😂 It's part of the reasons why I'm so picky with kdrama I watch, to be honest. Seeing that Beyond Evil is coming to Netflix, I hope you can watch it. (Shin Hakyun's acting is top notch in this, believe me.) And when you do, please let me know what you think of it. I don't have Twitter so I have no idea how the show's doing there, but yeah, I can definitely see the ship being popular over there. Oh, speaking about Twitter...
a bit unrelated, but do you happen to have a twitter account for fandom related stuff?
I used to have one (actually a number of accounts), a long time ago. But unfortunately, me and Twitter, we didn't vibe well. It was short-lived. Every single account I made there, both personal and fandom related stuff. So, I'm sorry about that. I'm afraid this is the only place where you can find me.
as for the merciless, it sounds super interesting (and has im si-wan in it) so I might give this one a chance later on!!
Yes, yes!! You should give it a chance. Both Im Siwan and Sol Kyunggu (the other main actor) are excellent in this, you definitely should watch it. It's a movie, too, so the commitment will be less daunting as opposed to watching 16-episode show.
And oh, now that I remember... Have you ever heard of Korean web series called “The Boy Next Door”? If you haven't, then please, please, please watch it.
It's about two men living next to each other who always end up getting into ridiculously suggestive scenarios whenever they're together. It's freaking hilarious, I tell you. It's not actually BL (it's a parody) but the fact that they don't really like each other and the use of the background music make the whole thing even funnier. It's on Youtube, has 15 episodes all around 6 mins each, and has Choi Wooshik (the guy from Parasite) and Jang Kiyong in it, so if you haven't watched this yet, I suggest you do right away.
Aah, talking about this web series makes me wanna watch it all over again. (Look at me going into raging rambling mode again. I'm sorry you have to see this 😅)
Thank you for sending me this ask! I'm glad to know you liked my long gushing for the shows I recommended to you in previous ask and trust me enough to ask me for recs (whatever did I do to deserve this??) 😊
#ask#thank you anon for the ask#and for reading through my gushing over shows i love#i don't have that many friends you see#so please excuse me#hope you're having a very nice day!

My Japanese friend is mad with me. What should I do?
My Japanese friend is mad with me. What should I do? Hi everyone, I have an online friend in Twitter who is Japanese and thank to her, I can practice my Japanese everyday. The problem is 1. My Japanese is pretty bad + 2. She is sick since many years. Then each time I saw her in Twitter, I tweeted to her something like "Hi, how are you" in Japanese. It's a simple phrase because my Japanese vocabulary is really poor. Of course I know she sick. For me, "How are you" is just a formula to greeting someone, it's not a direct question. (In indirect way, I just want her to confirm that she is still alive because I don't know... her illness seems very serious, and she don't let me know the detail) However, she is not happy about it. She was capable to bear it in...about 3 times I think. She always replied to my "How are you" by telling clearly about her illness situation. But few days ago, I think I touched her limit. This time, she said that I'm so careless, that I already know she's sick and I still ask this question (Okay maybe I am), that the conversation with me make she very tired (maybe because of my bad Japanese too). She don't say it clearly but I know that I hurt her feeling and from now on she don't want to talk with me anymore. Then she unfollow me in Twitter, she block me then unblock me so she can remove herself from my Following list. All the things happened soooo sudden. All I can say.... Wtf??? I mean if she don't agree with me about something, she should have told me then I can fix my mistake. Are we not... friend?!So my question is should I re-follow her? I don't know what to do now. I understand that she don't want to talk with me anymore. But I still care about her, and it's a bit ridiculous that we can't be friend anymore because a small problem. Seriously, if she is an American/European/Chinese/Korean/.... whatever country in this world, I can re-follow her immediately without any hesitate. Because I know that it's not a big deal for us. But she is Japanese. I always find it's hard to understand a Japanese. I'm afraid if I re-follow her now, it's could be something "disrespectful" to her. Please give me some advice. Is there any way that I can reconcile with her? Thank you very much!
