I’m sorry I’m sending a lot of hate towards jimmy page. I just really hate him, I’m glad I’m not the only one that hates him. He just hurts so many people in his life he doesn’t deserve happiness.
I understand. if I may be serious for a moment I think deprecating jokes are fine in small doses but sometimes I think its good to not forget why you're making jokes about hating a person – there's the commonly cited reason that you'll be numbed to the bad things they did and not care as much, but I think the reverse is true too, you can forget why it is you care so much that you feel like you can say whatever you want about a person and not feel bad about it. that being said I've seen some shit in my time and I definitely don't feel bad hating page on main (I just dont post every single ask I get cuz it can get repetitive after a while)
#you ask i answer#two minutes page hate#I actually had a recent wakeup call looking at song lyrics#it reminded me just how sickening the accusations really are once you cut through the bs#but I won't elaborate further because I'm not in the mood to discuss heavy shit rn

70 with mikey?
,Sorry this took so long!
Word Count: 1051
70. “I can’t do this on my own.”
It had been nine months since you broke up with your ex, and with the lack of communicationbetween you two, it had seemed to you that he was more than happy it was over. You, however, would remember it as the hardest thing you ever did, and maybethe biggest mistake of your life. You never wanted to break up with Michael, but after he spent night after night choosing alcohol, fame, or money beforeyou, you thought leaving him would be a wakeup call after all your chances ofdiscussion only led to fights that caused him to slam the door as he went out.You left early one morning, leaving only a note on your pillow, telling him tocall you once he understood how you felt. Now here you are, almost a year later, in a bar with your best friends, throwing back shot after shot. Yourfriends were sad to see your relationship end, and after giving you what theybelieved was enough time to grieve, they encouraged you to come out with youone night.
“Isn’t this amazing?!” Your best friend shouted over themusic, “The DJ is playing the best jams and we got amazing deals on alcohol!”
You nodded with a grin as you sipped your water beforetaking another shot, watching your other friends enjoy themselves on the dancefloor. You were just getting up to join them as the song ended but the familiarlyrics made you collapse back into your seat. It was one of your ex’s recent songs, a breakup one too of course,as if the universe would actually let you move on.
You frowned and tried to cover your ears, not carrying howsilly you looked as you ran to the bathroom, grateful that only the bass madeit into the tiny room.
Your best friend soon entered the room too, watching youlean against the sink.
“Honey?” She took a step towards you.
“I don’t want to talk about it..” You mumbled as you focusedon trying to calm down.
“It’s just…” She bit her lip, “Michael, he’s here with hisfriends. The DJ was instructed to play their new single once they entered..”
You groaned, this had to be some cruel joke the universe wasplaying on you.
You took a deep breath then sighed, “Let’s go face the music.” You gave your friend a weak smile before joining her out on the dancefloor again.
If there was any luck on your side, the club was packed, probably because of your ex and his bandmates, but it would decrease your chance of seeing him. If you were being honest though, you hoped Michael caught your eye, saw what he let get away, and he would come over to apologize and you would let him know how much he hurt you before your friends dragged you away. But you couldn’t deny that you would also take him back that night if he askedtoo.
You shook your head to chase the thoughts away, there was no point of creating fantasies you weren’t convinced were going to happen anyway. After a few songs you excused yourself to buy a drink, taking a seat to restyour feet as you asked for a water. You glanced around, widening your eyes whenI saw your ex across the bar. Your feet ached too much to move so you only hoped he didn’t notice you either. You kept your head down as you consumed yourdrink, biting your lip as you heard the stool next to you scrape against the floor as the familiar stranger sat next to you.
“[Y/N]? Hey it’s been awhile..”
“Yeah and who’s fault is that?!” You looked up at him, watching as he bit his lip.
“Yeah, I should have called, bu-“
“But nothing,” you interrupted, “I waited for you for months! I came to the conclusion that you were glad we were over and that broke me Michael!”
“Can.. Can we talk somewhere more private..? I promise to explaineverything and give you the apology you deserve.”
You frowned but nodded, excusing yourself to let your friends know where you were going, ignoring the surprised looks they gave you as you went back to Michael. He led to you a quieter section of the establishment and watched as you sat down.
“First, I want to apologize. I was putting everything andanything before you when we were together, and it wasn’t fair to you. I don’t blame you for leaving,” he watched for your reaction before continuing, “But I won’t apologize for not calling you.”
You frowned and opened your mouth to say something before he began again.
“I won’t apologize, because it wouldn’t have been fair to either of us, especially you, if I called right away. I read your note that morning, then looked into getting myself some professional help to cope with my problems. My therapist..” he stopped, almost embarrassed, but continued after he received a soft smile from you, “My therapist recommended that I wait on calling you until I was sure I wouldn’t pull you back into the same pattern, but I got scared because all those months had passed, and I told myself you had moved on, but part of me wishes you haven’t yet. It’s selfish but, I understand it’s a long shot and I’m sure they know lucky they are so-“
He widened his eyes as you interrupted his buzzed rant witha kiss, surprising yourself too, but smiling as he pulled you closer.
“Thank you,” he sighed happily, “I hope this means we can be together again, if not, I hope we can be friends at least. I just..” he sighed, “I can’t do this on my own. And I’m asking you to be there for me again as I get better, but this time I promise to be there for you as well.”
You smiled and nodded as you stroke his cheeks, “That’s allI wanted Mikey, for us to work things out together. We’ll hold each other hands every step of the way.”
He kissed your head as he held you close, making a silent promise to you, himself, and the universe, that he was never going to let you go again.
