oohhhkeyyy so the way I interpreted is that teen Utahime and Gojo were on good terms back then and then something happened along the way (we’re talking abt over ten years here) that made Utahime hate him which I actually find interesting bc I’ve always wondered why she actually hates him. Is it only because he annoys her?? I mean he annoys EVERYONE, but gg specifically stated “she truly hates him” (check this) so I always felt like something DID happen between them that made utahime really dislike him. maybe he crossed the line at some point and said something that deeply hurt her, which is quite possible I mean cmon we’re talking about Gojo here, this guy can be mean af.

and btw I actually do ship gjhm but I’m just huge sucker for nuance like yes two things can coexist at the same time, emotions are layered and ppl are FULL of contradictions so like let fictional characters have a bit of that nuance too, let them be complex, not everything is as black and white as it seems.
