Small Siobhan headcanons:

1. When she was little, most of her friends were ghosts. 2. She found a dead body when she was about five and it kind of traumatized her and she’s deathly afraid of dead bodies. 3. A big sign of trust for her is someone referencing/touching her scars and she doesn’t react with aggression. 4. Because Hades also is the God of Wealth, she attracts money and things of value but usually passes them up or gives them away. It doesn’t happen super often, but enough to be considered “lucky” in that aspect. 5. She doesn’t bother practicing at her powers due to her distaste for her dad. She usually just tries to control it enough not to use it. Of course, in an extreme emotional state, it’s harder to control. 6. In high school, her principal managed to utilize her harp playing ability and join the school orchestra in her Senior Year. 7. She loves rain. She likes being out in the rain, she loves jumping in puddles, and generally act like a little kid. Her favorite place to go when it’s raining is the woods because she thinks it’s pretty. She’ll try to go camping a few days before it’s suppose to rain so she can be out there when it does. 8. She loves little kids. She has a hard time being mean in front of them.  9. She’s incredibly protective. She’ll fight for someone she cares about if she hears a person talking shit about them. 10. She’s more likely to wear her glasses around at home. Outside of her house, she refuses to because she’s convinced she’ll lose them and she can’t see much as a result.

“I have two different memories of my mom… One hand I have a memory of her leaving me. Just one minute we were walking past the police station and the next I was sitting outside on the stairs. I was just… waiting for her. Just waiting and waiting and waiting… But she never showed up. She was just… gone. I never saw her again. No one could even find her. It was like she fell off the Earth” The demigoddess twisted a strand of the fabric of her shirt around her finger, tightly, then unraveling it. It felt a lot easier to make admissions when she didn’t feel like they were hers, when it didn’t feel like she had a personal connection and could still feel those feelings. Maybe that was why she never went back to her real name. She could distance her trauma from herself. 

Andrea was a beaten and broken little girl who was abandoned by her mother, rejected by the entire world and the people that were supposed to love her the most. Siobhan was more like shattered glass, sharp and dangerous. She didn’t care about who got hurt because it was their fault for stepping on her, the softest thing about that girl was her mother. Though, she’d be a liar if she said some days, she wanted to go back to being Andrea. Maybe get her life back on the correct path. Be bold and fearless like her grandparents expected her to be. Be a decent person and not having to worry about if anyone was out to get her, but she didn’t know how to be that person. It almost felt like an insult to consider trying to be that person again. 

“The other… I just remember my mom acting weird. She was usually laid back but caring. That day… I don’t know. She was locking windows and murmuring to herself.. She seemed like she was screaming at someone who wasn’t there.  She had been acting weird for a long time before then…But... It was different this time...” She didn’t want to finish. It seemed far too hard. She tilted her head down more, shielding his view to her face. Having eyes on her in that moment felt like a punishment, felt like pity and she couldn’t manage it. She didn’t want to continue. She felt like her heart might stop if she ever tried. “Never mind... It’s stupid” She got up and did her best to leave the room and distract herself with something else. She didn’t want to think about it or try to make any sense out of it. It was far too hard to her. 

Then again, what did she expect when she didn’t bother trying to heal? She just stuffed those sort of things down and ignored it. It seemed easier in the moment to completely avoid it. After that, it just became a habit she just didn’t know how to shake it.

tagged by: no one, i stole it tagging: no one, steal it o3o 1. She has a stutter. When she’s speaking normally, it’s not really evident. It’s once in a blue moon sort of thing and typically ends up yelling something... rather profane before she stutters, and most of the time after. Yeah, she can sense a stutter coming sometimes. The more stressed/frustrated/angry she gets, the more likely she is to start stuttering and butchering word pronunciation (might even shift into screaming in Romani). However, when she’s in a place of genuine terror, her stutter completely disappears.

2. She hides knives all around her apartment. She has one stuffed under her pillow, one under her mattress, one in her underwear drawer, two under the couch cushions, one in the medicine cabinet, another in bathroom drawer, one in a book, one in her roommate’s room and she keeps one on her at all times. It makes her feel at ease to know she has something to defend herself with in every room of her house.

3. She loves nature and the rain. When she needs to thing or just wants to get away she hangs out in the woods. Sometimes she’ll go camping if she really needs to chill. Where rain is concerned, she enjoys being in it. She enjoys splashing in puddles like a toddler and getting soaked by it. Really, she doesn’t care if it gets her sick, she’ll risk it if it means that she can jump around in the rain like a kid.

4. She needs glasses but she loses and breaks them all too often and just has given up. She squints a lot as a result. 

5. She knows how to play the harp, the violin, and the guitar. Her ultimate goal, if she does nothing else with her life, is to learn how to play all the string instruments. Really, music is probably the biggest part of her life and the easiest way to bond with her. It’s also her favorite way to bond with someone so... there’s that, too.

10. ♥ Do they include their partners in most aspects of their life?

Absolutely. Once she feels close enough to someone, she has no problem integrating them into her life and vice versa. If she mentions that she’s hanging out with her friends that day, she’d invite her S.O. merely because she genuinely wants them there. She doesn’t believe in “needing space”. She loves being around people she cares about and she’ll try to spend as much time as possible. If she dates someone, she’s the type to have a “thing”, like ordering a pizza and watching 31 Days of Halloween on SyFy in October up to Halloween. She’d definitely crave for someone that’s unique and will always remind her of the other person even if they break up.

13. ♥ Do they sleep in the same bed/room as much as they can or do they sleep separately?

... This is a girl who doesn’t believe she’s felt any sort of genuine love. When someone makes her feel special or important, same bed as much as humanly possible. If they don’t make her actually feel good about herself (for once) then she won’t mind sleeping separately as much as possible.

Depends on who the partner is and their dynamic, also depends on how invested in the relationship. She’s a very situational character. With Michael, that’s hard to say cause they do a lot and spend shittons of time together

I’m going to just assume Michael and say that she didn’t have much of an opinion of him. Honestly, she wasn’t expecting anything to come out of it considering how they met. She was probably really aloof at first due to not wanting to get attached to anyone. She really doesn’t think too much about other people during first meetings. She managed to talk herself into admitting he was ‘cute’ but wouldn’t let herself think of anything more. Lol.

“Y-Yeah... It’s kind of hard... To describe all that sort of stuff. I mean... Love is just a really complicated sort of thing for me. And describing all that happened just kind of... It’s a lot. I mean, things were great for a while but... Things kind of took a turn on my end. Life got a bit more complicated and I didn’t want anything to happen to him, I didn’t want him to feel like my problems were his burden to bear so I thought it best if we weren’t romantically involved anymore but trying to go back to friends proved difficult so we kind of just started avoiding each other, I guess... It’s just kind of pathetic... How much that I actually still need him... How he’s the first person I go to call when I can’t handle things... I try not to. He’s better off without me anyhow...”
