THE HAT RULE, t. owens
word count | 1.7k words
pairings | tyler owens x meteorologist!fem!reader
summary | where tyler owens decides to show the reader what the hat rule is.
warnings | MINORS DNI!! 18+ ONLY!! HEAVY smut! reader doesn’t know the hat rule. not proofread. lowercase intended.
a/n | first of all, sorry for disappearing, i've had NO motivation to write on here, but i saw twisters yesterday and seeing glen powell in a cowboy hat changed me as a person, and also gave me motivation to write. i’ve never written a full smut so i apologize if this sucks, i've stepped out of my comfort zone for this one.
the first time you had ever encountered a tornado was a memory you were sure to never forget. growing up in new york meant rain and snow but no tornadoes. so when traveling to nebraska on a field trip in high school, you were unprepared when the sirens sounded, sending everyone into a frenzy. you had watched as the rain pelted from the sky, a funnel forming up above. you were mesmerized as your teacher pulled you to safety, a sort of thrill tearing through your body. from that moment on, you knew what you wanted to do. you went to college for meteorology, graduating near top of your class before going onto to work at a local news station. but it never quite settled the feeling that something was missing, until you stumbled across tyler owens’ youtube channel.
tyler owens had become a sensation, a daredevil who did more than just chase the storms, he rode into them. and that seemed to heighten that need of a thrill. so, you hit him up and to your surprise, he replied. and what had started out as a week off of work to storm chase with the daredevil, turned to going part time at your job and joining him on the road.
that was a season ago, and now you were sat at a dingy bar, sipping a beer with tyler and the team. the man himself was sat on the stool next to you, nursing his own beer and listening to lily speak. you ignored the slight butterflies that entered your stomach as he laughed. you had learned to never mix work and love, but something about tyler had you questioning that lesson. he looked mighty fine in his blue jeans and button up, supporting a cowboy’s hat on his head. you noticed your beer was gone, standing up you turned to your crew.
“i'm gonna get another beer, can i get anyone anything?” no’s were murmured around the group except for one.
“i could use another, how ‘bout i come with ya?” you shrugged, tyler getting up to walk with you. lily let out a low whistle, stopping at your glare.
“be my guest.” you two walked over to the bar top, signaling the busy bartender. “can we get two more, when you get a sec?” the bartender nodded, going to make a few drinks before he could grab their bottles.
“so, miss city girl, how you likin’ riding with us? ready to go back to the big apple yet?” tyler questioned, turning to look down at you slightly. damn the height difference.
“don’t think you’re getting rid of me that quick, i have a lot more storm chasing left in me, cowboy.” you winked, tyler laughing. you debated for just a moment before reaching up and taking the cowboy hat from his head.
“the hell you think you’re doing?” tyler questioned as you placed the hat on your own head, admiring your reflection on your phone.
“you wear this hat all the damn time, i just wanted to see if there was something special about it? maybe it has some magical powers or something.” the bartender came back around, beer bottles in hand. you thanked him, handing him some cash before turning back to tyler, who had an odd look in his eye. you quickly took off the hat, worried you had pissed him. you went to hand it back to him, when tyler shook his head:
“keep it on, it suits you.” tyler picked up his beer, beginning back to the table. the comment caused a light blush to dust your cheeks. shaking your head, you hoped it didn't show too much as you followed him back. you sat in your seat, confused by the odd looks you received from the crew. nobody said anything about the hat as the night went on, but that didn’t stop the odd looks.
by last call, it was you and tyler left of the crew. thankfully the bar was across the street from the motel, tyler paying the tab much to your protest, before setting off back to the motel. you had forgotten you still wore tyler’s hat upon your head, only remembering when you went to brush your hair from your eyes, your hand bumping the rim. “hey, do you know why everyone kept giving me weird looks after i put your hat on? and why boone and dani wouldn’t stop snickering?” tyler looked over to you as you climbed the stairs of the motel.
“you don't know?” you shook your head in response, tyler holding a bewildered look. “you don't know the hat rule?”
“there’s a hat rule?” tyler stopped at his door, which neighbors your’s and lily’s. “what?”
“you wear the hat, you ride the cowboy.” he deadpanned, your eyes widening and a heavy blush coating your cheeks.
“oh my god! i promise i wasn’t trying to imply that or anything. not there’s anything wrong with you, because you’re– well you’re you, and–” you fumbled over your words, stopping mid sentence when tyler laughed.
“hey, it's fine. if you weren’t trying to insinuate that, that’s fine. but if you were, well, now's your chance. and i’d be more than happy to show you how that rule works.” tyler walked closer, a minimal amount of space between you, just enough to allow you to choose whether you close that gap or leave.
you stood there for a moment, stunned at his offer. and without much thought, you closed the gap, hands going to grip his face and pull him closer to you. his hands moved to your hips, fingers digging into the fabric of your shorts. the kiss was feverish, all unspoken feelings surfacing. tyler began to pull away much to your dismay, one hand leaving your hip to fish out his keys from his pocket as he moved his other arm to hold your waist. he unlocked the door with ease, pulling you inside and shutting the door before pushing you up against it, the hat falling as he did so. he went to town on your neck, enticing soft moans and whimpers from your lips. the way he sucked at your neck and how he had previously handled you had conjured up a pool of wetness in your panties.
your arm wrapped around his neck, holding him to your throat, as your fingers tugged at his hair. he groaned against your skin, biting down ever so softly when you tugged on his hair. he gripped at your leg, pulling it up to give him better access to your cunt. he rubbed his clothed cock along you covered cunt, pleased with the moans that escaped your mouth.
“god, keep moaning like that and i might have to take you right here.” you blushed once more, pulling tyler to meet your lips once more. you pushed off the door, lips still connected to tyler’s as you blindly pushed him back to the bed. his legs hit the edge of the bed, tyler breaking the kiss as he pulled off your shirt, both of you kicking off your shoes and socks before lips were reattached once more.
you pulled back, tyler unbutton his shirt as you began to work on his belt buckle. “woah, easy, pretty girl. you’ll get a taste, don’t worry. the night’s still young. but for now, i gotta show ya what happens when ya wear the hat.” tyler pulled off his shirt, walking to pick up the forgotten hat, placing it on your head. “this stays on.” you nodded, eyes hooded as tyler pulled your shorts and panties down. “you’re even more perfect than i had imagined.” before you could question him, tyler pulled his jeans off, his boxers next as his cock sprung up. tossing them to the side tyler pulled you onto his lap as he sat on the edge of the bed, “you sure ‘bout this? i don’t have any condoms.” tyler asked, different from how he just was. you nodded, kissing him softly.
“i’m on the pill, and i trust you.” tyler nodded, holding over his cock as he slowly guided it along your pussy. you held yourself up as tyler’s thumb rubbing your clit, enjoying your whimpers. “please, tyler.” you begged, tyler aligning his cock with your entrance before guiding you down. you hand went your hat as your head rested on tyler’s shoulder, almost pornographic moans escaping from your lips. “oh my god.” he slowly eased himself into you, whispering praises as he did so.
“god, feels like you were made for me.” your cunt hugged his cock beautifully. when his cock was fully in, he allowed you to get used to the stretch, “tell me when you're ready.” you stilled for a moment, adjusting to his size. you kissed and sucked on his neck, slowly beginning to rock your hips. “fuck, let’s get this off of ya.” tyler’s hands skillfully unclipped your bra, tossing it to the side, fingers ghosting over your perky nipples. you pulled off his shoulder, giving him better access to your tits. “you’re fuckin’ beautiful, darlin’.” tyler attached his mouth to one of your nipples, enticing a soft moan. you continued to ride him, hips moving faster as you chased your incoming orgasm. your left hand gripped tyler’s shoulder, fingernails digging into his bare skin as your right hand held onto the hat that adorned your head.
as your orgasm inched closer and closer, your movements became more erratic, chasing your high. tyler moaned, whispering praises as your walls clenched around his cock. he knew you were close, mouth moving to your pulse point as he pounded into you, taking over. tyler clapped a hand over your mouth as your orgasm hit, muffling your screams so you didn't wake up your neighbors. his movements however did not slow as he worked you through your orgasm, chasing his own high. your legs trembled as he continued to pound into you, your second orgasm of the night approaching quickly. “fuck! fuck, ty-” you cut yourself off, body shaking as you hit your climax once more. tyler began to huff and moan, pulling you impossibly closer as he reached his own high. you blubbered, unable to form actual words as tyler’s hands roamed your body. you pulled back, kissing him roughly.
“goddamn,” he helped you off his cock, helping guide you onto the bed, “think you’ll be able to handle a round two?”
“don’t go thinking you can get rid of me that easily.”

haiii >_< could i request a myunggi (player 333) x fem reader. reader meets him at the games and falls for her because of the way she takes care of junhee and her baby (player 222)! i hope this isn’t too vague 🙈 do whatever ur heart desires with this!
ft. lee myung-gi x f! reader — squid game
╰₊✧ falling for your kindness towards jun-hee & his faults┊0.5k words
contains: fluff! newly established relationship, past myung-gi/jun-hee but not anymore obviously, reader is very kind
➤ author's note: love girls supporting girls, but the reader is kinder than i am, i would have beat his ass (another short one, i’m so busy omfg i hope to have a proper fic coming soon)
it seemed a little strange to him at first when he realized how much attention he was paying to your interactions with his jun-hee, but truthfully, he was nervous about it all. you had only been dating for two weeks, and he had no idea how you would react to being told that his pregnant ex-fiancee was in these death games with the two of you. he’s surprised you didn’t tear his head off when it was revealed he had a little over a billion won in debt compared to the hundred thousand won he lied to you about, and you were only in this shit because you wanted to help him out too.
it’s only now that he’s noticing that your kindness seemed to have no bounds and that your sincerity was like that of an angel. when you first approached her, he half expected you to start a fight like most of his previous partners did when meeting each other: establishing their position as his girlfriend, telling the other to back up, and maybe even getting physical if they both were in a bad mood.
yet you did none of that, coming to her with all genuine smiles and concern for her well-being.
at first, she was a bit stand-offish for obvious reasons as she’s seen you plenty of times with the ex-youtuber, but once she saw your persistence to make friends with her, she eventually gave in and even smiled that myung-gi is a lucky man for having you in his life. after all, she couldn’t stay indifferent towards someone who went out of her way to help make makeshift accommodations for her pregnancy whether she needed extra food when eating for two, another pillow to sleep comfortably, or a buddy to go to the bathroom with. there was nothing you wouldn’t do for her and sometimes you even spent more time with her than your boyfriend.
“aren’t you mad?”
“what do you mean?”
“aren’t you mad at me for having a pregnant ex-fiancee? aren’t you jealous?”
“well, you didn’t know about it until we got here. besides, she said she doesn’t want you back anyway even if you are the father.”
“right, but… what about me keeping the severity of my debts a secret?”
“you didn’t want to worry me, i forgive you! listen, we’re all human and make mistakes, i’m not mad at you about anything. i just want to get out of here alive and use the money we earned surviving to pay everything you owe back then we can start being a real couple without all that on our shoulders.
he stared at you with his mouth slightly agape and shook his head lightly. there was nothing negative in your tone, nothing indicating that you didn’t care or that you just wanted to get the matter over with, you really were accepting the apologies made for his shitty past decisions out of the pure kindness of your heart. it made his own soar like a bird gliding along with the wind, feeling like he had the chance to improve and finally be the man you deserve.

The Script
Pairing: Peter Parker x reader
Synopsis: you and Peter break up once you find out his secret and he falls apart
Masterlist
“We broke up.”
The words fell out of Peter’s mouth as he pulled his mask from his tear stained face. Ned turned around in his desk chair and pulled his earbuds out of his ears.
“What? No way.” He laughed dismissively at the assumed joke until he noticed the red rim around Peter’s eyes.
“It’s true. She broke up with me. She doesn’t want to be with me anymore.” Peter repeated through a childlike cry.
“But I thought you had a date tonight? Did something happen?”
10 minutes earlier
“Peter?”
Peter froze in the alleyway and stopped looking for his backpack. He turned around slowly and saw you standing there under a harsh street light with his backpack in your arms. The webs he had shot on it to keep it secured against the wall were still hanging off.
“It’s you? You’re the Spiderman?” You asked in a voice barely above a whisper. You were looking at him with a mixture of betrayal and confusion as you clutched his backpack like you were a child with a teddy bear. Peter still had his mask on so he stayed dead silent.
“Say something.” You seethed, a newfound anger in your voice and eyes. Peter gulped and nodded his head, knowing there was no point in lying.
“I am.” He said, making your face crumble when you heard his voice. You held the backpack tighter and stared at him as your face crumbled.
“What are you doing out here? Did you follow me?” Peter asked you.
“No. You never showed up to our date. I called you when I was walking home. Alone. I heard your phone ringing in this alley way. It was in your backpack. Here’s your stupid fucking backpack.” You said through clenched teeth and threw the backpack at him. He caught it with ease and dropped it to the floor.
“There have been Spiderman sightings on Youtube for years. Years. You never told me?” You asked and surveyed every inch of his suit as you saw it up close for the first time.
“Nobody knows.” He said quickly. “I mean, May knows. And Ned. And a handful of people I work with. But that’s it, I swear. I don’t expect you to understand this all right now but please believe that I have to keep my identity a secret for my safety. And your safety too.”
“You don’t expect me to understand?” You laughed and tilted your head to the side as if to ask if he was serious.
“I just mean that I know this is a lot to process right now.”
“It’s not a lot. You’re the Spiderman and you never thought that was something I should know. I had to find out on accident after getting stood up for the hundredth time. But, sure, I’m glad Ned knows.” You nodded and looked up so your tears wouldn’t fall.
“I would’ve have told you eventually. I just needed more time. If people knew who I was, everything would change. I wouldn’t be able to help people there way I do now. I couldn’t tell anyone.”
“Since when am I just “people”and “anyone” to you?” You shook your head. “How could you keep this from me for this long? We’ve been dating for over a year. And I’ve known you since middle school. How much time did you need?“
“I don’t know. It just never felt like the right moment to say it. I wanted to tell you so many times.”
“You just never did.” You shrugged. Peter recognized that the situation was quickly escalating and you were not reacting the way he always imagined you would.
“I don’t understand why you’re getting upset right now.” Peter said calmly. “I thought you’d be happy to understand why I have to miss so many dates and flake all the time.”
“You thought I’d be happy to learn that you’ve been lying to me for our entire relationship?” You laughed again as tears fell down your face.
“I wasn’t lying.” He defended. “I just couldn’t tell you the truth yet.”
“Yet. Right.” You smiled tightly. “We’re over a year in but haven’t gotten to the point where you can be honest with me. I see.”
“I am honest with you. This is the only thing I’ve ever lied to you about. I promise.” He said and tried to step closer to you. You immediately stepped back and hugged yourself.
“I thought you loved me.” You said as you stared at the ground.
“I do love you. How can you even question that?” He laughed in shock. You looked up at him and he saw that your anger had turned to sadness.
“Peter, you stood me up countless times. Tonight included. You let me cry myself to sleep for so many nights. All those times I walked home alone after already getting to the restaurant or watched movie by myself through tears because you couldn’t bother to show up. You knew I was feeling insecure lately about the distance between us but you still decided to say nothing to cue me in as to why it was happening. Do you know how painful it is to feel someone you love pulling away and have them tell you your suspicions are all unfounded? How long would you have let me feel that way if I hadn’t caught you tonight?”
“I…I don’t know. I’m sorry. I didn’t think about how this was affecting you.” Peter said quietly.
“Of course you didn’t.”
“Look, I know this is really upsetting now, but I’ll make it up to you. I promise.” Peter said and put his hands on his shoulders. You pushed him off of you and took a step back. Peter gulped and wondered how he was going to make it out of this conversation alive because he had never seen you reject him like this.
“You always say that. And you never do. I have a long list of things I’m still waiting for you to make up for. Why should I believe this time is different?” You asked him and folded your arms.
“It will be different. I promise. I’ll fix this. Stop walking away from me.” Peter pleaded and reached out to touch your face.
“It’ll be different. You promise. You say the same thing every time. And yet, I always end up crying over you. I shouldn’t have to cry over a relationship I’m still in.” You said as you pushed his hand away from you. An anxiety built in Peter’s stomach as he was used to you telling him it was fine every time he had disappointed you in the past. This time was clearly different and he didn’t know what to do. You turned and started to walk away from him so he quickly followed after.
“Where are you going?”
“Home, Peter.” You said without stopping.
“No. You can’t leave now. We have to talk about this. I’ll listen to whatever you have to say. You can take it all out on me. Just don’t go, please.” Peter begged as he stepped in front of you to stop you.
“I don’t want to cry anymore, Peter. I’m done. This is done.” You cried and pushed past him to keep walking. Peter froze when he heard you use that word and felt his blood run cold.
“What? Done? Done with what?”
“With you. With us. With all of it. I’m not doing this anymore. I’m breaking up with you.” You said as you turned around to look at him. Peter felt his stomach drop and could barely hear you over the sound of his heart pounding in his ears.
“What? We can’t just break up. I love you.” He protested as he got that feeling in his nose that told him he was about to cry.
“That’s not good enough for me.” You shook your head.
“What?”
“You can say you love me as much as you want but until you prove that, I can’t be with you. I won’t be with you. I’m done.” You repeated and turned to walk away again. Peter quickly ran after you and dropped down to his knees in front of you.
“No, no. No. Please. Don’t leave me. Please. I’m so sorry. I’m sorry, baby. Just give me one more chance.” He begged as he took both your hands. You looked down at him for a long time as you thought things he wished he could hear.
“Please.” He whispered, barely audible. You looked up again but it was no use to stop your tears from falling.
“Say something.” He pleaded and squeezed your hands.
“I’m saying goodbye.” You said after a beat of silence. Peter made the mistake of letting his hopes build up during that silence. He stayed on his knees as you pulled your hands out of his and walked away. His tears fell rapidly down his face and it wasn’t long before his heartache turned into misplaced anger. He got off his knees and turned in your direction.
“You’re not being fair.” He called down the street. You stopped in your tracks and turned around.
“Excuse me?”
“This isn’t fair. I didn’t ask to be bitten. I didn’t ask for this life and all this responsibility. But it happened to me and I’ll never know why but I do know that I have to do something about it. I wish I could be a normal guy my age and take my girlfriend on dates, but I can’t. I have a duty to this city to protect it. I hate that it’s true but sometimes, I have to chose helping someone in need over spending time with you. You’re acting like I went out of my way to neglect you on purpose.”
“I understand that you didn’t choose this, but you could have told me all of that from the start. Then maybe I would’ve been more sympathetic. But right now, all I can think about is every little lie you told me to keep me in the dark. Oh, I’m sick. Oh, I have homework. Oh, I have to help my boss with something. Tonight, you told me you weren’t gonna make it to our date because your aunt needed help with something. You didn’t even care enough to lie about what she needed help with. But, yet, at least I got a lie tonight. Sometimes you just don’t show up.”
“I had to lie, okay? Do you have any idea how much danger I’d be in if you let it slip who I really was?”
“So is it that you couldn’t tell anyone or you couldn’t trust me not to tell?” You asked as you walked back up to him.
“You know how you are. You tell your friends everything.” He said coldly.
“Are you seriously saying this is my fault?” You raised your eyebrows.
“I’m not saying it’s your fault.” He sighed. “I’m just saying that you’re being kind of selfish right now.“
“I’m being selfish?”
“Yes, you are. It’s selfish to expect me to prioritize you over the safety of-“
“Of who?” You cut him off. “Of literally all of New York? Of the world? Where does your domain of responsibility end? Who do you prioritize me over? Where do I rank? When do I matter to you?”
“That’s not fair.” Was all he could say because he didn’t know the answer to your questions.
“You know what else isn’t fair? Making me have to be the only bad guy here. Because the funny thing is that I would have been proud of you. I would have been honored to be the girlfriend of someone who risked their life and gave their time to protect people they didn’t even know. But you never gave me the opportunity to feel that way. You chose to lie to me. You chose this over me every single time. You never chose me. That’s why we’re breaking up. I would have understood if you needed to prioritize saving lives over dates with me but I cannot understand you lying to my face every single day for years. I spent birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, and countless nights staring at the empty seat I saved for you that you never showed up to. So no, I don’t think I’m being selfish right now. I don’t think it was selfish of me to share my boyfriend with all of New York.”
Peter was quiet again as he processed what you had said. There was no way to undo what he had done and it was clear apologizing wasn’t cutting it this time.
“I don’t know how to be without you. You’re my best friend. None of this matters without you.” Peter said in a small voice. You sighed and felt sympathetic towards him for just a moment.
“Peter, you were and always will be my first love. That’s always going to mean something to me. But now I have to look back at our relationship and never know what was real and what was a lie. If you’re not going to choose me, then I will. I’m done waiting around for you. I’m done.”
“Please, don’t give up on me. I didn’t mean to hurt you.” He croaked out.
“But you did.”
“I know. I know I did. I’m sorry. I’m so sorry, baby. I’ll never stop trying to make things right.” He pleaded and tried to reach for you again.
“Don’t bother, Peter. You need to stay away from me for a while.” You told him in a calm voice.
“What? How long?” He blinked in disbelief.
“I don’t know. A long time.”
“But can we at least be friends? Like we were before?” He asked desperately.
“We can’t be friends.” You shook your head and turned to leave again.
“What? Not even friends?” His voice cracked as he called after you.
“I can’t be your friend. I can’t be in any kind of relationship with you. That’s what I’m trying to say here. I don’t trust you.”
“Ever?” He squeaked out. “We can’t ever find our back to each other?”
You didn’t answer him as you walked home alone. Peter stood on the sidewalk for a long time, unsure of what to do with himself now. He wanted to run after you and get you to see his side, but he knew that would just make things worse. You had said what you needed to say and he had to respect that as much as it pained him to see you walk away. Instead of going after you, he swung to Ned’s house and climbed through his window.
“We broke up.” The words fell out of Peter’s mouth as he pulled his mask from his tear stained face.
Peter let a month pass before he tried to speak to you again. Minus a few texts and voicemails left on particularly miserable nights, he had left you alone for the most part. But after counting down the 31 painfully long and quiet days without you, he went up to you in the hallway on campus one day.
“Hey.” He greeted you with an anxious smile. You stopped walking and looked behind you to make sure you were the one he was talking to.
“Hi.” You said with knit eyebrows of confusion.
“How are you? How have you been?”
“I’m fine.” You said flatly.
“Did you just come from class? Was it okay?”
“Um, I really don’t want to be mean here but why are you talking to me?” You asked him. Peter blinked in surprise at your response and lost all the confidence he had built up.
“Oh, um. I don’t know. We haven’t talked into a month. I was giving you space.”
“Why’d you stop?”
“Stop what?”
“Giving me space.” You replied. “I still don’t want to talk to you.”
“But it’s been a month.” He pointed out and realized how silly he sounded as it came out of his mouth.
“Okay? We ended a year long relationship and years of friendship. We can’t just go back to normal after that.”
“But…but we’re different.” He stammered. “We were different. I thought, I don’t know, maybe…”
“Maybe what? I’ll just forget about the shit you put me through?” You asked when he trailed off. He shut his mouth and went quiet and you couldn’t help but feel bad at the deer in headlights look he had in his eyes.
“Peter, I told you.” You sighed. “We can’t be friends.”
“I know we can’t go right back to how we were but we don’t have to pretend the other doesn’t even exist.” He insisted.
“No, Peter, you’re not understanding. I won’t be your friend. I won’t even fake niceties with you. I’m not trying to be mean but I don’t want you in my life in any capacity. I’m not changing my mind on this.”
“We can’t just never speak again. Our story can’t end like this.” He said quietly and you could tell he was on the verge of tearing up.
“It wasn’t supposed to. But it is. So please, just leave me alone.” You asked calmly so that he wouldn’t break down.
“I can’t. This is killing me. You and I not being together doesn’t make sense to me. Please. I’ll do anything to make this right. I still love you and-“
“Peter. Please. We’re at school.” You cut him off and uncomfortably looked around for who was listening.
“You’re telling me you don’t feel anything for me anymore? Because I don’t believe that. I know you. I know you can’t shake things that easily.”
“I didn’t think so either. But I’ve never been hurt like this.”
“Then can we please go somewhere and talk? I’ll listen this time. I swear.” Peter pleaded and stepped forward to touch your arm. You stared at him for a minute and looked sympathetic so he thought you might say yes.
“I can’t.” You said finally. “I have class. I have to go.”
“Oh, okay.” He nodded in disappointment. “Maybe some other time then. Just please know how sorry I am for hurting you.”
“You don’t need to keep apologizing, Peter.” You sighed. “I’ve moved on. I think you should too.”
“You’ve moved on? Like, with another guy?” Peter blinked a few times to stop the tears he felt threatening to spill out at this new bit of information.
“Not that it would be any of your business if I did, but no.” You amswered. “I just mean that I’d been mourning our relationship before it even ended so I accepted our breakup a long time ago. I’ve moved on now.”
“Were you really that unhappy?” Peter asked in a small voice.
“Well, yeah, Peter.” You admitted. “I loved you when you were around but it felt awful the nights you were gone. I felt completely alone a lot of the time. And even when you were with me, I was never sure you wanted to be there.”
“I always wanted to be with you.” He promised. “If you ever believe something I say again, just know how badly I wished I could have been there with you.”
You chewed your bottom lip and stared into his eyes as you tried to decide if you should believe him or not. You swore never to believe another word out of his mouth but his tired eyes seemed so genuine that you knew there must be truth to his words. But even if he was telling the truth, that didn’t matter to you anymore.
“I can’t talk about this right now. I have class.”You repeated. “Get some sleep tonight, okay? You don’t look so good.”
Another month went by and Peter was starting to feel used to not speaking to you. The thought of it beginning to feel normal to not have you in his life scared him so he called you up one night and listened to your voicemail with tears in his eyes. By month three, he pretty much just felt numb. He was falling to pieces very quickly and you were the only one who could save him. He’d seen you around on campus and sometimes get a pity wave if he stared too long. Every so often, he’d follow you home but keep his distance on rooftops. He swore you knew he was there as sometimes you’d stop and look up. He made no effort to hide but you made no effort to seek him out.
Peter was on his nightly patrol one night when his police radio started going crazy. He heard the words “bus crash” and “pile up” being reported over and over so he picked up his radio to listen for where it was. Once he had a location, he swung to the bridge and landed in the middle of the scene. Peter saw one of the large city buses on its side and twenty some cars piled up behind it. Police officers were already on the scene and helping people but Peters senses were telling him danger was still present.
“How can I help?” Peter asked an officer.
“Usually I don’t like seeing you at crime scenes but you might be able to help us. A bus is about to over the side of the bridge and our extraction guys are having a hard time getting onto the bridge with all the traffic.”
“Which bus?” Peter asked and looked around.
“It’s over there. Bus Q8.” The officer pointed out. There was a bus hanging over the side of the bridge with its nose pointed towards the water. Peter could see people inside trying to stay calm so they didn’t shake the bus.
“Q8? My girlfriend takes that bus.” Peter’s mouth went dry as his head shot back to the bus teetering over the edge of the bridge.
“Then you better hurry.” The officer called after Peter. The bus was on its side so Peter opened up the emergency hatch on the top and climbed inside. He calmed down the people on the bus one by one and assured them that he was there to get them to safety. As he spoke to the passengers, he kept an eye out for you but didn’t see you in any of the seats. You normally took the bus home at this time and Peter found it hard to believe this was the one day you didn’t.
“Was there a girl on this bus with a purple backpack? She was wearing brown converse and a jean jacket today. Did any see her?” He asked the passengers.
“Yeah. She was sitting over there.” Someone answered and pointed to the back of the bus. Peter went to your seat but only found your backpack.
“This is her backpack. Where is she?” He asked and felt his fear rise quickly. He looked around and saw that the back door of the bus was opened. He pushed the door open a little more and the bus wobbled at his movement.
“Did she leave?” Peter asked with his panic evident in his voice.
“She was helping a few people get out of the back until this little boy ran out. She told the mom she’d go find him. I haven’t seen her since.” Someone else informed him.
“Okay. Thank you. I’m gonna get you guys to safety.” Peter promised. He helped people out of the back of the bus one by one after securing the bus to the bridge with his webs. Once he was sure everyone was out safely, he began to search for you. He had an anxiety like nothing he had ever felt as he searched through the crowds for your face. As he looked around the scene, he heard a woman talking to a police officer about a girl falling over into the water. Peter felt his hair stand up and approached them.
“Excuse me? Was the girl who fell into the water wearing brown converse?” He asked and hoped the answer was no.
“I think so.” The woman replied but couldn’t be sure.
“Can you tell me what happened?” He asked.
“This girl helped me get my son after he ran off the bus. He had climbed into an empty car nearby to hide so she climbed in to get him. But the car fell into the water before she could get out herself.” The woman replied as she clutched her son to her chest.
“Did…did the car go under?” Peter asked with a dry mouth. The woman looked pained at his question and he already knew her answer.
“When I looked over the side, I saw it sink under the water. I’m so sorry. There was nothing I could do. Did you know her?” The woman asked and placed a hand on Peter’s shoulder. The police officer started asking Peter questions but he couldn’t hear anything. He felt like he was about to pass out and stumbled backwards. He took off running towards the side of the bridge and looked over into the water. The rocky river water looked especially treacherous that night, sending a sick feeling to Peter’s stomach. He wasted no time and dove into the water in search of you. He swam down and eventually found a car in the water but when he pulled the doors open, there was no sign of you. Peter quickly swam up to gasp for air before going back down to look again. He did this five times before he exhausted himself. He dragged himself onto the little patch of grass at the base of the bridge and laid on the ground. He pulled his mask off and let out a guttural sob as he covered his face with his hands. He knew he had to pull himself up and help the people on the bridge but his entire body felt like lead. He rubbed the saltwater out of his eyes and took another minute to recover. As he rolled over to get himself up, he made eye contact with you.
“Peter?” You asked in a shaky voice. You were wet from the river and holding yourself as you slowly walked toward him.
“You’re okay?” Peter asked as he got up off the ground. You were shivering from the cold and he wished desperately that he had something he could cover you with.
“Yeah. I managed to get out through the trunk of the car. I was on the other side of the platform when I heard you crying. Did you go looking for me?” You asked when you realized he was wet too. Peter was still in stunned silence at the sight of you okay after accepting that you had likely drowned.
“You’re okay.” He said and started to get all chocked up again. Peter took a step forward and opened his arms to hug you hit stopped himself. He stepped back and hugged himself instead.
“What are you doing?” You wondered.
“Giving you space.” He said seriously. It made you laugh for some reason which he didn’t understand but he didn’t question it.
“Shut up.” You said when your laughter stopped.
“I didn’t say anything.” Peter said as you threw your arms around him. He stumbled back in surprise but then hugged you back tightly. He buried his face in the crook of your neck and slipped his hands into your hair to hold you closer. It felt like muscle memory to hold you again and the chill in his bones was gone in seconds.
“That was really scary. When the car fell into the water. I couldn’t breathe.” You choked out and he held you tighter.
“I know. Shhh. I know.” He whispered in your ear as you struggled to catch your breath. You pulled away just a little so that you could look at him.
“I thought of you.” You admitted. “When I was trying to find my way back to the surface. I was so tired and my lungs felt like they were going to explode but I just kept thinking that I needed to see you again. That’s what kept me going.”
“I’m sorry I didn’t get to you sooner. I should’ve been here.”
“It’s okay. You’re here now.” You smiled sadly and touched his face. Peter returned the sad smile, the kind the made his eyes crinkle. But as he stared into your eyes, he couldn’t help but think of the things you had said the night you broke up.
“I should’ve been there for you a lot more than I ever had been.” He began. “You didn’t deserve to spend all those nights alone wondering where I was. I should’ve been a better boyfriend to you. I should have just told you the truth. I don’t even know who I was protecting in the end. I told myself it was you but that’s not true because you still got hurt and I was the one who hurt you. And I’m so sorry for that. I’m so fucking sorry. I’m sorry for all of it.”
“Peter, you don’t have to do this right now.” You assured him.
“I do. Because I don’t know when you’re gonna talk to me again and I have so much I have to tell you. So I need you to know that I’m sorry for all the times you got dressed up for me and just never showed. I’m sorry I let you think the distance between us was all in your head even though I felt it too. I’m sorry for all the calls and texts after we broke up because I could never stay away from you. And for following you home everyday because you looking up when you thought to was around was the closest to an encounter that we had most days. And I’m sorry that I clearly didn’t love you hard enough if you were able to move on so quickly. I guess the absence of my love wasn’t much worse than the presence of it. Or maybe the presence of it already felt like an absence. I know I was barely there in the end. I know you deserve better. And I hope you get better. You were always the best part of me and now I’m just the loser who got really lucky that a cool girl liked him and found a way to fuck it all up.”
“You didn’t fuck it all up.” You smiled sadly. “We had a lot of good times too. We were happy.”
“Not enough for you to stay. Which I don’t blame you for. I wish it didn’t take losing you to realize how much I needed to change but it did. So I don’t blame you for being fine without me. You’ll always be fine. You’re better off now without me in your life and I’m just falling to pieces. I guess when a heart breaks, it doesn’t break even.”
You started at him for a moment as your eyebrows came together. You let out a short laugh and expected him to do the same but he just looked confused.
“That’s that song.” You said finally.
“What?”Peter frowned. “What song? I’m pouring my heart out here.”
“I’m falling to pieces, yeah. I’m falling to piece, yeah. Cause when a heartbreak no it don’t break even.” You sang quietly and Peters eyes went up in surprise.
“Oh shit. It is that song.” Peter realized. “Damn it. I thought I made that up. I’ve been listening to The Script a lot lately. Especially the one that’s like “cause if one day you wake up and find that you’re missing me and your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I could be.” I’ve been blasting that one so much that May had to take my speakers away. So then I started scream-singing it and she threatened to kick me out.”
“It’s so like you to accidentally quote a popular song and think you made it up yourself.” You laughed softly. “You said I so confidently that I genuinely believe for a second that those were your own words. But no. It was just the musical stylings of the popular early 2000s band The Script.”
“The Script are the only people that understand me right now.” Peter mumbled, making you laugh again.
“You laugh but they make the best music for yearning.” Peter continued just to make you laugh again. He smiled at the sight of you laughing at something he had said after so many months of silence between you. When your laughter died down, you looked at him for a moment the way that you used to.
“I don’t want you to yearn anymore.” You told him and gave his hand a squeeze. Peter understood what you were getting at and nodded his head.
“Do you think we could try again?” He asked in a soft voice. You smiled a little and took a step closer to him to rest your hands on his chest.
“I think so.” You answered.
“I swear, everything will be different this time.” He insisted. “I won’t leave you lonely anymore. And we can take it at any pace you need. Just tell me what I can do to earn back your trust.”
“I don’t know. I think maybe I can trust a guy who dives into the Hudson River for me.” You said with a coy smile as you nodded towards the water.
“I really hate to do this right now but that’s actually the East River of-“
“I don’t care.” You laughed and pulled him into a kiss to shut him up.

talk too much - arthurtv
summary: arthur talks too much, and you know just how to shut him up - 1k words
this is roughly inspired by the song talk too much by coin! please be nice, this is my first time writing for a person who is not fictional lol
hope y'all don't hate it!
(happy birthday mr. television!)
~
The cafe was warm compared to the bleak, rainy day that was terrorizing London. The soft lights illuminated the small space with a golden hue, and the scent of espresso and baked goods contributed to the cozy atmosphere. You found yourself tucked into a corner booth while you waited for your date to return with your usual order. You risked a glance up at the counter and found him ordering with his hands in his pockets. His brown curls laid perfectly against his forehead, and his face held a soft smile as he spoke to the barista. He was looking as kind as ever.
You had met Arthur a few weeks ago through a mutual friend, and were immediately drawn in by his handsome features. Nothing could have prepared you for his intelligent mind and cheerful personality. You were smitten. The two of you hit it off, and by the end of the day you had exchanged numbers.
Now, you sat in the cafe on your third date with Arthur, eager to spend time with him. There was only one slight problem nagging in the back of your mind. The two of you had been on two dates already, both of which went great in your opinion, and Arthur had made no move to kiss you. He would hold your hand as he walked you to your door, and end the night with a friendly hug before turning away to make his way home. You were under the impression that things were going great, and the fact that he continued to ask you on dates made you believe that he must be thinking the same, so why had he not tried to kiss you?
Your pondering was cut short by Arthur returning to the table with two mugs.
"I told them exactly what you told me to say, I hope it's alright," he smiled, setting your mug down in front of you before easing into the seat across the table.
You picked up the steaming mug and took a tentative sip.
"Perfect. Nice job Arthur," you blushed.
"Great, I was kinda nervous that I would get it wrong," he laughed out.
Before you could respond he was already changing the topic of conversation.
"Have you been watching the new season of Inside? I can't believe the Sidemen managed to make a deal with Netflix. It's incredible really."
You smiled and shook your head at him as he continued to ramble. If there was one thing Arthur could do, it was small talk. He constantly kept conversation flowing, pausing to hear your input before continuing along with his train of thought. He listened intently when you spoke, never making you feel drowned out, but there was never room for awkward silence with Arthur. The two of you spoke about the weather, a new study on conservation that he read, and a recipe that he saw online and managed to successfully master on his own. He talked about current events, new ideas for his YouTube channel, and a recent night out that involved one of his friends being attacked by an angry minion? You had plenty of questions about that last one. After a few hours of chatting inside, the rain had subsided and your mugs were empty.
You stood up and shrugged your coat on before turning to him and batting your lashes.
"Walk me home?"
"Of course," he said with a lopsided grin.
His eyes sparkled as he grabbed your hand, leading you out of the cafe.
The conversation continued on your walk home. Arthur's mind was truly one of the most attractive parts of him. He spoke so intelligently, and with such passion about the topics he chose. You were happy to listen at this point, admiring him more than you contributed to the discussion. His hand never left yours from the booth in the cafe to the front door of your home. As the two of you stood outside your apartment, you turned to face him.
"I enjoyed this Arthur, thank you for another great date."
His eyes held a familiar softness as he looked down at you, "I always have a great time with you."
You returned his gaze intently, wondering if this was the moment you would finally get your kiss.
He tore his eyes away from yours before launching into another ramble.
"Alright so I really do like you a lot. You make me a bit nervous and I am never really sure if I should kiss you or not. I don't know if I should ask you or if I should just give it a go. I hope I am not making this weird. Oh my days I'm making it weird aren't I? I am so sorr-"
You placed your hands on either side of his face, cutting him off and forcing him to retain eye contact with you.
"Arthur, you talk way too much."
Pulling his head down you pressed your lips against his. You had never been a lover of cliches, but literal fireworks went off in your head. Arthurs breath hitched in his throat before he returned your kiss tenderly, hands finding their place along your hips. The kiss was gentle and soft, perfectly mirroring the man you were falling for. The two of you parted, and you pulled his head down to rest his forehead on yours.
You looked into his eyes and giggled, "that may have been the first time you've been silent all day."
He pulled away from you, eyes twinkling, and let out a chuckle, "you can shut me up like that anytime."

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤSAFARI GIRL * CHRIS STURNIOLO
SUMMARY :: where Y/N is the tour guide for the Sturniolo Triplets on their safari trip.
FEATURING Chris Sturniolo x guide!reader REQUESTED? no.
WARNINGS :: none.
AUTHOR'S NOTE :: that is my work, I DON'T authorize any form of plagiarism; copy, "inspiration" or translation! | english isn't my first language, so I'm sorry if there's any grammar error.
Y/N was the type of girl passionate about wild animals, having spent her entire childhood and adolescence reading different books and watching millions of documentaries about each species. She felt comfortable around them, like she was finally home.
So it was no surprise to her family and friends when she got her first job at age 17 on a safari, and not just any safari, but the one in San Diego. She started as a simple intern and progressed through the ranks until she officially became, at the age of 20, the head tourist guide of the place.
So it wasn't news to her when she was chosen by the safari owner to be the tour guide for three famous YouTubers who paid to have 24 hours of the space just for them.
Despite finding it a bit exaggerated to have an entire safari to themselves, the girl was excited to meet them and be able to spend more time than usual explaining everything she knew about each animal that interested them.
Y/N spent the entire early morning walking around the different animal places, checking if everything was in its right place and organized as it should be, wanting the safari to be in perfect condition to be enjoyed and recorded.
The girl arrived at the zipline point 5 minutes late. It was no surprise, considering her stop in the tiger area, which she loved with all her being.
"Hi!" Y/N greeted as she approached the three figures already being prepared by the equipment. "You must be the Sturniolo, right?" She began, offering her hand to the one in the white jacket, who was already ready and closest to her. He shook it happily, giving her a wide smile.
"Are you our tour guide?" He asked hopefully, receiving a nod from the girl, who returned the smile. "Awesome, I'm Nick, and this is Matt and Chris." The boy pointed to the other two, making Y/N look at them quickly.
She felt a chill run up her spine and her heart skip a beat as she met Chris's eyes, he was obviously very similar to his brothers, but very different at the same time, and his unique features were what captivated Y/N instantly.
The girl forced herself to smile quickly, afraid of leaving an awkward atmosphere by staring at him, raising her hand to properly greet the other two.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Y/N, and I will accompany you during the first hours of your 24 hours of safari." Y/N spoke, traveling her eyes across the three of them. "Now you will go through the zipline, and then we will enter the safari! Don't worry, the trip is super safe, and the instructors are very qualified." The girl explained as she gestured with her hands, briefly pointing to the staff who would help them down.
The boys quickly thanked her, Chris giving her a big smile as he nodded at her words, appearing to be excited.
She walked away momentarily, letting them talk to each other and to the camera - which she only then noticed a fourth person holding and filming them.
༻﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡༺
"Oh, Y/N! I see her, that's our guide." Chris exclaimed to the camera, quickly turning towards the girl and skidding down the slope, walking at a fast pace. "Hi, Y/N!" He spoke loudly as he approached, smiling big and waving his right hand, followed by his brothers.
The girl - who had her back to them - quickly turned around when she heard her name being called, a smile instantly appearing on her face when she saw Chris approaching her, her heart beating faster. Yes, she had a crush on the boy she was going to guide on the safari where she worked.
"Hi Chris, boys!" She greeted, waving and waiting for them to come closer.
"Before we start, is it okay for you to be filmed and appear on our channel? We're doing these 24 hours, especially for our subscribers, so we want to film as much as possible." Nick asked, pointing at the camera briefly.
"Oh, sure! No problem." Her response came gently, her eyes traveling to the camera. "Well, we have a lot of animals that we can visit today, but given the schedule, some will stay for tomorrow. Like the tiger-"
"Do you have a tiger?" Chris turned to her, eyes wide and mouth open in disbelief.
The girl smiled at his cuteness, nodding her head.
"Yes, we have." A feeling of pride filled her chest. She loved talking about her tigers. "But today we'll see more animals released, and tomorrow we'll see the ones that need to be locked up, okay?"
She stopped, waiting for the three of them to agree.
"Did you guys hear that?" Chris asked in a whisper-like shout, shaking Nick slightly with his enthusiasm.
"Yes, kid, we heard." The older man responded with a smile, rolling his eyes and patting Chris's hand on his arm.
"Any questions before we continue on?" Y/N asked, looking at them quickly.
"No questions!" The three responded almost simultaneously.
"Did you enjoy the zipline trip?" The girl asked as the five started walking towards the first stop.
"Yes, I was quite scared at first, but it was an incredible experience." Matt said, fiddling with the strings of his hoodie.
"Yes, I felt huge shivers in my stomach, but it gives you a feeling of euphoria afterward." Chris nodded, tucking his hands into the front pocket of his hoodie and increasing his stride so that he was practically next to Y/N.
"It's a really unique experience, I love that it's the biggest zipline in the USA and that you have such a paradisiacal view." She pointed to the horizon as they stopped near some telescopes, moving to the side so they could get a full view of the landscape.
She allowed them to enjoy it for a few minutes, watching them from a little distance.
"You can take it and look through the telescope if you want." Y/N indicated as she saw Chris staring at the telescope on the right, approaching him slowly.
He raised his blue eyes, exchanging glances with her for a few seconds before looking to the telescope again, his cheeks taking on a reddish hue.
"I thought I needed to pay to use them."
"No, go ahead, Chris." Y/N smiled gently, lifting the bottom of the object and pointing at it with her chin, watching as the boy walked closer and placed his hand next to hers, bending down slightly to fit his eye into the right space.
"Thanks."
༻﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡༺
"You can sit in the front with me if you want." Y/N said as they approached the safari "car" she would drive through the route, turning momentarily to Chris. "So your brothers can sit in the back seats and hear my voice better." She quickly added, fidgeting with her fingers nervously. She didn't want to sound unprofessional.
"Sure, that's fine with me." The brunette nodded, ignoring the smiles and looks that his brothers furtively sent him.
"Let's go then."
The five of them arranged their seats quickly, Chris getting comfortable on the passenger seat. He glanced at Y/N from the corner of his eye, pressing his lips into a thin line to keep from smiling.
Her perfume hit his nostrils hard as the car started moving, the wind doing a great job of making Chris dizzy from the delicious scent, holding himself back from getting closer and taking in a breath of air.
"This is Eminem. She has two younger brothers-"
"Oh, she's a rapper." Chris muttered, suddenly turning around and imitating rap gestures for his brothers, getting a laugh from them and Y/N, who shook her head in denial as she slowly stopped the car.
"Almost that." The girl joined in the fun.
"Can we get close to the animals?" Nick asked from the backseat, leaning against the back of the driver's seat and looking at them.
"No, I would lose my job." Y/N scoffed, letting out a laugh before speeding up again.
༻﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡༺
"And here we have the giraffes, my second favorite safari attraction." Y/N pointed out, slowing the car down again, pointing to the group of animals near them. "Hi babies." She turned to them, greeting the ones she spent hours of her day petting and keeping company.
"Hi!" Nick followed Y/N's action, Chris and Matt saying the same afterward, smiles on their faces.
"You really love them." Chris commented briefly, leaning closer to Y/N so that only she heard him, the sound of Nick and Matt's voices muffled out from behind.
"I practically grew up in zoos and safaris. These animals are my life. That's basically what I love about this job." She began, her tone full of directness. "I know everyone sees them as simple animals, but they are more than that." Y/N explained, looking away from the giraffes and turning to Chris, momentarily getting lost in his eyes. "They're not just animals. They're intelligent... I mean, you can see there's some higher order thinking going on... Right?"
She expected to get a judgmental look or a "how crazy are you" say, but instead, Chris just smiled big and nodded slightly.
"I understand you. It's no wonder that our brand's new merch is with animal prints." The boy said, quickly lifting his hoodie and showing the t-shirt underneath, where it had a perfect drawing of a giraffe in the bottom corner. "And full of giraffes."
"Wow, that's beautiful!" Y/N spoke, her eyes wide as she looked at the t-shirt. It was so cool that they made something of their own signature inspired by animals.
It suddenly made sense to her why they paid for 24 hours there alone.
"If you're nice enough, I might consider giving you one of these later in the day." Chris teased, pulling down his hoodie and smirking at the girl.
Y/N rolled her eyes, shaking her head as she let out a low laugh.
"I'll earn it."
༻﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡༺
"Oh no, birds." Nick muttered as he noticed Y/N slowing down near the bird area, receiving laughter in response.
"These birds are incredible, I promise they don't come close to street doves or conventional ones." Y/N turned around, looking at Nick with a smile on her face. "Every day, they will sing to their partner to show that they're still in love." She commented, looking at Chris for a few seconds, before focusing on the birds behind him, feeling her cheeks heat up.
"Wow, we need that nowadays." Matt commented briefly. His eyes focused on the animals as he had a small smile of admiration on his face.
"Yeah, we really do." Chris nodded, his eyes fixed on Y/N. She swallowed hard at the intense staring, tearing her eyes away from the birds and returning her attention to the front.
An embarrassed smile appeared on her face, and she started the engine again while shaking her head, he really had a lot of boldness.
༻﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡༺
After some small explanations on some specific animals, Y/N decided to make a bathroom stop near one of the cliffs that gave a view to one of the green landscapes.
Nick and Matt went to the bathroom while the man who was filming decided to take photos of some specific spots nearby, leaving Chris and Y/N alone - perhaps on purpose.
"I know we just met, and I don't know you, but is there any way I could take you out sometime soon?" The brunette approached Y/N in slow steps, releasing his question softly as he positioned himself next to her, facing forward. His hands were resting comfortably in the front pocket of his hoodie, and his eyes remained fixed on the greenery in front of him.
Despite being confident, he was afraid of receiving a big "no" for an answer.
"Are you always this straightforward with strangers?" The girl responded, turning to face him and resting her hips on the wooden fence, crossing her arms and watching him with her eyebrows raised.
She swore she saw his adam's apple move as he swallowed hard, not expecting that comeback. Chris opened his mouth to apologize but was cut off by the girl, who laughed.
"I'm just kidding. Saturday, I have the night off." Y/N answered his first question, watching Chris relax his stiff posture and a smile of relief fill his face.
He turned to her as he took his phone out of his pants pocket, unlocking the screen and opening the contacts app.
"Can I get your number?" The boy asked, offering the device to the girl. "S-so we can schedule dinner." He added quickly, smiling awkwardly.
It had been so many years since he last had the courage to make a move on a girl, and he felt like a complete idiot. But that girl moved him in a different way, and Chris would do anything to get to know her better.

HELLO! This is my first time requesting so my apologies if I didn't do it right
(。>﹏<)
(Katsuki x insomniac!reader)
I love your writing style smm, so I was hoping you could write one where the reader is like an insomniac, staying up late to be chronically online and stuff and Katsuki tries to help her ₍⑅ᐢ..ᐢ₎
I struggle with insomnia quite a bit, and I just stay up, scrolling through my phone or computer even if I don't have anything to do on there. And it's not like a one time thing either, it's like every night, and the only way I actually go to sleep is holding my plushies or listening to ASMR/or calming music, but it still takes quite a long time for it to kick in.
So I would love it if you could convey that in one of your oneshots!!
If you don't wish to go through with my request for any reason, no worries and I hope you have a good rest of your evening! (ㆁωㆁ)
I wish you tons of love and good times all around, thank you for listening (∩˃o˂∩)♡

katsuki was writing down what was on the board, listening to what mister aizawa was teaching when he turned his head to see you nodding off. he glared, and checked to see when the teacher wasn’t looking, then reached over to push your shoulder.
you slowly turned toward him and pouted, quietly grumbling, “what?”
“pay attention. you’re not failing this test, idiot.” he scoffed, changing his attention to his paper and trying to solve the equation in front of him.
after a few minutes, he heard a loud thump to his left, and he sighed once he saw what happened, your hair was splayed out everywhere, your head lay on the desk, and your arms wrapped around your head, protecting it in some sort of way. he reached his arm out, not caring about the equation anymore, and wrapped his hand around your bicep, squeezing it, and small explosions landed on your arm, causing there to be a black mark on your uniform.
you swatted his hand away, seemingly wide awake when he whispered, “we’re talking after class.”
you retorted and laughed, “no shit, katsuki, we always talk after class.”
he rolled his eyes and scoffed, done with your antics. but when the time came, and the class was done, school was officially over for the day, he dragged you by your hand into your dorm.
once you set your bags down and yawned, he asked, crossing his arms after he took his clothes off and changed, “why the hell are you always so tired during the day? do you not sleep or some stupid shit like that?”
you shook your head and then nodded, a little confused about how to explain it with just signals. you spoke, “i have insomnia.”
his eyes widened. well, now he felt like an asshole.
he mumbled, “first off, you need to sleep quicker and easier. what do you think makes you calmer and more sleepy?”
“i think being around people i like makes me sleepy because i feel relaxed around them, like a comfort person. then i like listening to asmr, i love listening to soft taps and crunchy sounds! it’s so cool!” you exclaimed.
he rolled his eyes. he didn’t know what the fuck asmr was, but he assumed it helped, so he spoke, “sleep with me tonight, and we’ll put that asmr thing on.”
“really?” you asked, eyes shining with admiration. all he was worrying about was your phone, as you managed to check it around a hundred times a day, even when you weren’t supposed to. who knew what you would be like at night?
so when it came to be around eight at night, you found yourself in katsuki’s dim room, with his large television screen opened up to the youtube app. you complained, “why are we here so early, kats?”
he answered, “because i’m guessing you take a long time to sleep. put on your favorite channel and get in bed.”
he stripped off his shirt as you took control of the remote, typing in the letters of your favorite asmr channel before clicking on a video. you climbed into bed with katsuki and crawled closer to him, wanting to feel his warmth.
after a couple of minutes, you reached over to the nightstand to grab your phone when katsuki forced your hand down. he argued, “no phones past eight.”
you immediately tried to argue as well, “but—“
“go the hell to bed. no phones.” he kept his word, and eventually your eyes started to feel heavy.
you mumbled, digging your face deeper into his side, and around two hours later, after conversations, and switching through multiple videos, he finally felt your breathing evening, and he sighed.
although you had to wake up early in the morning, two hours preparing to sleep was better than many more hours. he smirked to himself, katsuki had to make this part of your nightly routine.
hi i hope this was realistic enough! i’m so glad you love my writing, you have no idea how much this affects me

hey i would love a story where the triplets younger sister (15-16) always was cuddling her brothers and kissing their cheeks because it was how she was raised and when her friends came over she was cuddling matt on the couch and her friends started to make fun of her the next day at school so she distanced herself from the boys, refusing to even go near them so they talk to her about it
PLSSSSS
okayyyy

“Too Old for Hugs?”
Sturniolos x sister
Y/N had always been affectionate with her brothers. It wasn’t weird—it was just how they were raised. She hugged them when they got home, kissed their cheeks before they left, and cuddled up next to them on the couch whenever they were watching a movie. It was just normal.
Or at least, she thought it was.
The night before, her friends had come over, and she had been curled up against Matt on the couch like always, his arm lazily draped around her as they watched some random YouTube video.
She didn’t think anything of it—until the next day at school.
Her so-called friends had spent all day teasing her.
“Dude, you’re way too old to be cuddling your brothers like that.”
“Do you seriously still kiss them on the cheek? That’s so embarrassing.”
“You act like a little kid, Y/N. It’s kinda weird.”
She had laughed it off at first, pretending it didn’t bother her. But as the comments kept coming, something in her started to shift.
Maybe… they were right?
Maybe she was too old for that stuff.
So, she stopped.
At first, the boys didn’t notice.
Y/N had never been super obvious about her affection—it was just there in the little moments. But when she suddenly stopped hugging them when they got home, stopped curling up next to them during movie nights, stopped even sitting close to them—it didn’t take long for them to realize something was wrong.
Chris was the first to say something.
“Why are you sitting over there?” he asked one night, frowning when he saw Y/N sitting on the opposite side of the couch instead of next to Matt like she usually did.
Y/N shrugged. “Just wanted to sit here.”
Matt and Nick exchanged a look.
“Okay… but, like, you never sit over there,” Nick pointed out.
Y/N kept her eyes on the TV, pretending not to care. “Maybe I wanna start.”
Chris narrowed his eyes. “You mad at us or something?”
“No,” she said quickly. Too quickly.
Matt tilted his head. “Then what’s up?”
“Nothing.”
It wasn’t nothing.
And the boys knew it wasn’t nothing.
But Y/N was stubborn, and no matter how much they asked, she kept brushing it off.
It wasn’t until later that night that they finally got the truth out of her.
She had been in her room, scrolling through her phone, when there was a knock at her door.
“Y/N/N, open up,” Chris called.
She sighed. “Go away.”
“Not happening,” Matt’s voice added.
“Seriously,” Nick chimed in. “We’re coming in either way.”
Before she could protest, the door opened, and the three of them stepped inside, all looking way too serious for her liking.
Chris sat on the edge of her bed. “Alright, talk.”
“There’s nothing to talk about,” she muttered.
Matt scoffed. “Bullshit.”
Nick crossed his arms. “Y/N, come on. You’ve been acting weird all week. You won’t even look at us.”
Chris nudged her foot. “Did we do something?”
That made her look up. “No! It’s not you guys, I swear.”
Matt narrowed his eyes. “Then what is it?”
She hesitated.
Chris softened his voice. “Y/N/N, whatever it is, you can tell us.”
She chewed her lip, debating for a second, before finally sighing.
“My friends…” she started, picking at a loose thread on her blanket. “They—um—they said it was weird that I always hug you guys. And that I still kiss your cheeks and stuff. They said I act like a little kid.”
Silence.
Then—
“Are you fucking kidding me?” Chris blurted.
Matt sat up straighter. “That’s why you’ve been acting weird?”
Y/N felt heat rush to her face. “I just—maybe they’re right? Like, I am kinda old for that stuff—”
“No, you’re not,” Nick interrupted firmly.
Chris shook his head, clearly pissed. “Who cares what they think? They’re your friends, not your damn family.”
Matt nudged her knee. “Y/N, you’ve always been affectionate with us. That’s just how you are. That’s how we are. It’s not weird—it’s just us.”
Nick nodded. “Yeah. And if they don’t get that, then they don’t really know you.”
Y/N swallowed, feeling her eyes sting a little. “I just didn’t want you guys to think I was weird too.”
Chris groaned, grabbing her wrist and dragging her into his chest. “Dude, shut up and hug me right now.”
Y/N let out a wet laugh, melting into his arms.
Matt sighed dramatically and wrapped his arms around both of them. “Yeah, you’re never getting rid of us.”
Nick rolled his eyes but joined in, squishing her between them. “Seriously. You’re stuck with us, sorry.”
Y/N sniffled. “I love you guys.”
Chris kissed the top of her head. “We love you too, dummy. And don’t listen to those assholes.”
Matt nodded. “Yeah, screw them.”
Nick smirked. “But, uh, if you did wanna give us their names…”
Y/N snorted. “No fighting my friends, Nick.”
Chris grinned. “No promises.”
And just like that, everything felt right again.

the after party
matt sturniolo x influencer!reader
summary: after an event that you attended, sat next to three other youtubers/influencers, you hapen to bump into one of them at an after party another youtuber threw.
warnings: mentions of alcohol and drinking, kissing
wc: 1.3k (sorry LMFAO)
english is not my first language!
today was your first, big event. you've done content creation for a while now, roughly four years. so after having a schedule, uploading youtube videos and creating content on many other social media platfroms like tiktok & instagram, you gained quite the audience. nothing as big as other influencers and youtubers you met at that event, but it was still a huge number. everyone was assigned a table of four, leaving you to be placed with three other people. you barely talked to them, given the fact you didn't know each other and wanting to avoid any awkwardness, but you did some mild interaction.
after the event, another youtuber that you became good friends with over the past year threw a party. the rented out bar had a vinatge design. discoballs and neon signs, even a jukebox. obviously it wasn't used. loud speakers put up in the corners of the room, good music playing trough them. you weren't always one to drink. usually at those sort of after parties or events, you would, but considering you had to drive yourself back home, not wanting to leave your car behind and uber home if you did change your mind and have a drink, you just decided you'd enjoy the night without the consumption of alcohol, interacting with friends and just vibing.
you saw a lot familiar faces, some of which you actually knew, and some who you've only heard of or attended the same events with. in the crowd of people talking next to the bunch of people dancing and singing the song that was currently playing at the top of their lungs, you spotted two of the people who sat at the same table as you at the event, talking to one of your friends that you were looking for. you didn't want to break off their conversation, so you decided to go stand somewhere, waiting until she was free to talk to. you weren't the biggest party person. feeling awkward in big settings full of people, especially if you only knew a handful of them.
you walked into a corner of the bar that had a window pointing to the empty streets, streetlights and the moon shining right into the spot you leaned up against, the glittering lights of the discoballs bouncing off of the window. you sighed, watching the cars that drove by on the street near the bar, crossing your arms and bobbing your head to the song. you didn't even realize someone standing pretty much right in front of you, leaning against the window until your eyes landed on the guy, offering him a smile when your eyes met and recieving one in return. he pushed himself off of the window to walk closer to you for you to be able to hear him better over the loud music echoing trough the crowded room.
"not a party person?" he chuckled, leaning against the wall next to you. "oh no i am, sometimes." you shrugged "so why're you over here then?" you turned your head to look at him, shrugging again, "my friend was busy talking to.. i think those are your brothers, right?" you pointed over at them, asking him in a jokey way since it was pretty obvious that the three of them were triplets, or at least brothers.
his eyes went the direction that you pointed to, feinging surprise, "damn, what gave it away?" he grinned, averting his eyes back to your face. "hmmm, i don't know. maybe the hair" you joked, making him chuckle. "you don't drink?" you asked him, gesturing to his empty hands. he shook his head "nah i gotta drive, what's your excuse?"
"driving aswell" you answered. your friend was still busy talking, but you didn't mind it as much now that you were having conversation with this 'stranger'. "what's your name by the way?" you asked, turning your head back to look at him again. "matt" he answered "i'm-"
"i know." he cut you off, chuckling at your surprised reaction. "we sat together at the event, they have name tags on the chairs?" he tried to remind you. you nodded, remembering.
your guys's conversation kept on going for a while, talking about the typical things that people who just met usually talk about. you found out he didn't live that far from you. you loved the way the conversation was going so smoothly, not awkward at all. you were interested in learning more about him and he matched the energy. your eyes couldn't help but wander over his features. his chain, reflecting the flashing lights, his slight stubble, his blue eyes. you were listeining to something he was telling you about himself when you caught yourself staring down at his lips for a brief moment, regretting the lack of control you had over your eyes. you didn't want to seem weird, weirding him out of the conversation.
matt seemed to have noticed the way your eyes quickly snapped back up to meet his, because he paused his talking, his lips curling up into a small grin. you chuckled awkwardly, breaking eye contact, embarrasment flooding trough you. "sorry" you mumbled. you felt like you just made things extremly awkard, but matt seemed amused at the way you were getting so embarrased over a small thing. he didn't mind you staring. "don't apologzie." he reassured, tilting his head to the side, waiting for you to look at him again, and you did.
his eyes darted down to your lips, almost as if to show you he didn't mind it when you did it. it only made you more nervous for some reason. if you would've had a few drinks, you wouldn't have minded, the alcohol typically making you more bold, more confident. the music and the people singing and talking around you blurred out when he leaned a little closer, the flashing lights pointing at his face every now and then, making his eyes shine whenever it hit them. matt's eyes once again took a small glance down to look at your lips when your tongue darted out to wet them.
he leaned closer, your eyes staying on his, unsure of what his plan was. whatever it was, you didn't mind it at all.
"is this okay?" he asked, his eyes meeting yours as your faces were only a few inches apart. you nodded, and that was all he needed. he closed the gap between you, his lips meeting yours in a gentle kiss, testing the waters, seeing how comfortable you were and how far he could go. your lips moved against his, your hands hesitantly hovering over his shoulders before actually placing them on the back of his neck, pulling him closer and deepening the kiss. matt's hands landed on your hips, kneading the flesh gently, his lips moving against yours more confidentally now.
you were the first to pull back, breaking the kiss. your eyes met and the both of you grinned, holding back a laugh at how your interaction turned into a very impulsive kiss, neither of you minded though. it was clear he enjoyed it and you couldn't deny the fact that you already missed the feeling of his lips on yours.
matt's phone vibrated in his pocket with great timing as you two stepped back, detangling yourselves from one another. he pulled his phone out, staring at the message on his screen before looking back at you, "my brothers are lookin' f'me." he told you, "you guys leaving then i'm guessing?"
"yeah, looks like it" he cleared his throat. you met his eyes again with a smile. "can i get your number?" he asked, returning the smile, your smile widening at his question and you nodded, taking his phone when he held it out for you and typing in your number. you handned matt his phone back and he smiled, putting it back into his pocket. "thank you, pretty"
"text me when you get home?" you asked, earning a nod from him. he leaned in again, placing another quick kiss on your lips before turning around and disappearing in the crowd of people.
to be continued...?

He doesn’t want any other nurse
Charles Leclerc x female!nurse!reader
Summary - Charles has a habit of hurting himself so he visits the medical bay quite a lot which he doesn’t mind because his favourite nurse is there
Warning - Cuts, Crash, tripping over, medical centres, bruising
A/n - This was inspired by a character ai bot lmao
-
This was becoming a regular routine. And it’s not like no noticed, everyone noticed. Every other race, Charles would have to be taken to the medical centre in the paddock, why?
Because of her; one of the nurses who would travel around with the FIA as a nurse.
Like Zandvoort, Charles had crashed his SF-23 into the first corner.
“Charles, are you okay? Are you okay?” Xavier voiced through the radio, the race engineer could see Charles moving in his car.
“Yeah I’m good…I think I’ll go to medical just in case…” Surprisingly he sounded somewhat excited to be visiting medical, it was usually dreaded by the drivers.
So that’s what he did. He took himself all the way back to the paddock and through the paddock to medical. There’s was a small waiting room, Charles sat himself down excitedly.
One of the other nurses had come out to the waiting room. “Charles, I can see you now” she offered but he quickly turned her down.
“No thank you, um is Y/n here today?” The Monégasque asked eagerly. The nurse looked back through to the medical bay, and saw that Y/n was in fact treating someone who had fallen in the paddock.
“Uh she’s a bit busy at the moment…please I can help you” The nurse tried again to which Charles just shook his head again.
“I’ll wait…” His tone was blunt and straight to the point. The nurse just sighed, knowing there was nothing she could do to change his mind, before walking back into the medical bay.
-
I was just finishing up cleaning up a small cut on someone’s knee as they fell in the paddock. “There you go ma’am…take it easy on your feet” Smiling softly I walk the women out through the medical bay carefully.
I walk into the medical bay as one of the other nurse told me that a certain Ferrari driver was waiting on me and only me.
Knowing of his refusal of any other nurse here, I strike up a conversation with him “I heard you’ve been waiting for me”
His response is quick and almost impatient “Too long” I look him over and notice a few cuts but other than that he seems okay.
“Why?” I ask in defeat. The driver just stares me down.
“Because I wanted you…” Charles just picks at the skin around his cuts, going silent again.
“You do realise that there are more qualified nurses than me…right?”
Glancing away from his cuts up at me, Charles continues “Yes and I rejected them” He looks around the medical bay before meeting my eyes again. “Your qualifications don’t matter to me, I still want you”
As I treat his cuts, cleaning them up and putting some plasters on, I continue the conversation “I don’t understand…why me?”
He remains still allowing me to treat him correctly “Why not you?” Charles’ green eyes follow my hands as I work.
“Whatever you say…” Chucklibg softly before move to grab the plasters. After I finish fixing him up, I pat his shoulder “You’re all done…”
“Thank you” He mumbles before making his way to the media tent, feeling that bit more excited.
-
The two Ferrari drivers were in their teams hospitality filming a challenge video for the Ferrari YouTube channel. However, Carlos had accidentally tripped up Charles.
That’s how Charles ended up back in the medical bay waiting room, rejecting away any nurse until his favourite arrived in the waiting room. Y/n.
-
“Back again so soon Charles” I teased as I walked over to him, he was sat clutching his head.
Charles just offered me a tired smile. “Why are you so busy when I come in?” He asks with a grumble.
“Because…this is my job, I have to treat other people as well” I smile softly, laughing slightly. Reaching over, I inspect his head.
“What happened?” Asking him, I notice some bruising on his head just before the forehead.
“Carlos, le moromi, tripped me up” Laughing softly as Charles curses in his mother tongue. I move to the medical fridge, picking up a small ice pack wrapping it in a blue paper towel.
Holding to the bruising, I take one of his hand before putting it in place of mine. “Hold this here…” Once Charles is holding onto the ice pack, I take my clipboard “Do you feel dizzy, nauseous?”
Nodding his head, I start to worry before Charles speaks up “Only because of you…”
Crimson blush covers my cheeks, my face feeling flustered. “Okay Charles that’s not what I mean…I uh meant the bruising”
“Oh no but…can I ask you a question?” He looks up at me from his seat. I nod politely. “Are you single?”
Taken back, I am instantly taken back by his confidence. “Uh um yeah…being a nurse and travelling around the world with f1 is that ideal when it comes to relationships…” Once again chuckling quietly.
Despite his injury, Charles laughs along with me before speaking again “Can I ask you another question?”
Nodding my head again, I let me continue. “Are you busy tonight?”
My laughter continues with his questions. “No not really…I was probably order room service and then fall asleep to a chick flick…the usual” I blush at my obvious loneliness.
“That’s cute” My blush on deepens “Do you…um doyouwanttogoonadatewithme?…tonight” Charles just quickly mumbles, this makes it hard for me to hear his question.
“Pardon?” I ask politely and patiently.
The Monégasque breaths in hesitate before speak again, this time more slowly and clearly “Do you…want to go on a date with me?”
I just smile softly, yeah my blush is still there but I don’t care really. “Of course…”
“Oh perfect…I’ll pick you up around seven tonight” Charles is evidently more confident now that I agree to the date.
“I’ll see you then” Walking off to another patient, I feel his green eyes staring at me.

the button ~ joost klein one shot
My masterlist here ✨💌
Pairing: Joost Klein x female!reader
Description: You are a contestant on the dating show the button by cut and hit it off with one of the other contestants.
Word Count: 1.8k
A/N: watched this video and saw that bbno$ was in it so I got the idea, what if Joost was a contestant on there? some of the dialogue is stolen from that video btw. I've got some amazing requests in my inbox so I'm sorry for putting this out first but i just felt ✨inspired✨
Warnings: not proofread
"(Y/N), you can come with me, you're next," the production assistant informed you and you got up from your spot on the sofa.
"Good luck," Amber, whom you had just met in the green room smiled at you.
"You're gonna kill it!" Leah also cheered you on.
"Thanks, girls!" you smiled and waved.
As the production assistant led you onto set your heart was pounding. This was your first time being in front of a camera and to do something something like flirting with someone which was nervewracking for you even without all the cameras and the pressure was definitely a big deal. You walked up to the small white table and saw a tall guy with brown hair and glasses get up to greet you.
"Hi, I'm Alex, nice to meet you," he said as you shook hands.
"Nice to meet you, I'm (Y/N)," you introduced yourself before you sat down. Before you could even say much the button already spoke up.
"Do you guys goon at all?" it asked and you laughed.
"I don't know what that is," you admitted. "What is that? It sounds sexual," you joked.
"It isn't, I promise you," Alex said laughing and you couldn't tell whether he was being honest.
"Alex, why don't you explain gooning to (Y/N)?" the button asked.
"Okay, so do you know when you wake up in the morning and you're having a really tough day? So gooning is like that emotional state when you don't know what's going to happen, the uncertainty of it all," Alex explained and you were still sceptical.
"Suuure," you said.
"Do you watch Gary Vee at all?" Alex asked and the button turned red indicating that the both of you could now reject the other person.
"Not really," you said as you gently pressed the button with a sorry expression on your face. Alex quickly looked down at your fingers on the button and back up to your face and you immediately felt sorry. "I'm so sorry," you said with an apologetic smile.
"It's fine," Alex said as he got up from his chair.
"It was nice meeting you though," you offered. "This is awful," you said addressing the camera. "But I guess that's the format of the show," you said.
"You got it," the button said.
It wasn't long before the next guy was brought onto set. You got up to greet him.
"Hi, I'm (Y/N)," you said and shook hands with the brunette dressed in a grey suit.
"I'm James, my friends call me Juice," he said as you sat back down. "You can call me yours, that also works as well," he said and you laughed.
"Okay, what do you do?" you opened the conversation.
"Uhm, I'm a YouTuber," he said. "Tell me about yourself, what do you do, do you live here?" he asked. You hated the tell me about yourself phrase so you cringed a bit internally.
"Well, I don't live here, I don't even live in the US actually. I'm just visiting," you said. "And I do Social Media Marketing for work," you concluded.
"Alright, that's dope," James said.
"(Y/N), are you vibing?" the button asked.
"I'm always vibing," you offered.
"But are you vibing with James, is the question," the voice of the button pressed.
"Uhm," you started and were glad as the button turned red again and your hands flung forward in reflex to reject the guy. "I'm so sorry," you said again as your hand hit the button. James shrugged and got up. "Have a nice day," you said, head in your hands as you were embarrassed.
"(Y/N), why did you reject James?" the button asked.
"Uhm, I just think we weren't a match," you said.
"Alright, let's hope this next one is a match then," the button said before the next guy stepped onto set.
You got up from your chair again to greet him. He was a tall handsome blonde, scattered with some tattoos and a pair of glasses on his nose. You could tell from his looks alone that you were attracted to him. Immediately your heart started beating faster after you had just calmed down and gotten used to this situation.
"Hi, I'm (Y/N), nice to meet you," you introduced yourself again shaking the guy's hand.
"I'm Joost, nice to meet you," he said and you both sat down.
"Are you guys nervous?" the button asked before you could start the conversation.
"Yeah, man, I'm shitting my pants," Joost said and you laughed.
"Yeah, I'm shaking," you said and held up your hand for Joost to see.
"Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one," Joost said. "Do you mind if I set the mood real quick?" Joost asked.
"Sure," you replied and Joost pulled something out of his jeans pocket. He placed an electric tealight on top of the table and turned it on.
"There we go," he said.
"Nice, I like it," you laughed. "I like your style," you complimented him.
"Oh, thanks, I like yours as well," he smiled, he was resting his head on his hands and you couldn't believe how cute he looked at that moment.
"So, what do you do?" you asked.
"I'm a musician," he said.
"Oh, nice. Isn't Alex also a musician?" you asked.
"So we're talking about other guys on our date?" Joost asked jokingly.
"I'm sorry," you said putting your hands in the air. "That was rude of me."
"No, it's fine," Joost said. "That's how we know each other actually," he explained.
"Oh, sick," you said. "Is there any of your songs that I might know?"
"Joost, will you sing a song for (Y/N)?" the button asked and laughed in embarrassment.
"Oh no, please no no," Joost begged laughing.
"No, please I wanna hear it," you said, your hands formed to a begging symbol.
"(Y/N), maybe you should hold Joost's hand to support him," the button chimed in.
"If you want," you said and put your hand beside the button.
"Alright," Joost said with a shy laugh and locked his fingers with yours. Your heart fluttered at the contact. The tattoos on his fingers looked divinely between your fingers you thought.
"Here it goes," Joost said and cleared his throat. You could tell that he was nervous, avoiding eye contact as he tried to mask his nervousness with a laugh. You squeezed Joost's hand in support and he smiled. Joost started singing: "Ring ding ding ding ding ding; Ring ding ding ding bem bem bem; Ring ding ding ding ding ding-"
"Oh, I think I know this one," you said as Joost continued singing.
"Ring ding ding ding baa baa; Ring ding ding ding ding ding; Ring ding ding ding bem bem bem," he sang with a big grin on his face.
"Wait, isn't this crazy frog?" you asked with a laugh.
"Yeah, it is," Joost said after he stopped.
"But that's not your-?" you asked confused.
"No, I wish," Joost joked.
Suddenly the button turned red again but you had no intention of pressing it this time so you just sat still. However, you could see Joost flinching as his hand left your grip but he stopped himself before actually hitting the button. Your mouth fell open in shock as you pointed at him.
"Did you just almost button me?" you asked laughing.
"No no no," Joost held up both of his hands. "I swear it wasn't my intention," he said. The button turned white again.
"Alriiiight," you said mistrusting.
"I thought you were gonna reject me so I thought I would have to push the button," Joost tried to explain. "I wouldn't reject you," he said.
"Whatever you say," you said and you narrowed your eyes at him. "Would you describe yourself as a generally mistrusting person?" you asked and Joost touched his chin as he pondered your question.
"Hm, I don't think I'm particularly mistrusting - just sometimes," he explained.
"Well, as you can see, you can trust me," you pointed out. "You, however," you pointed at him again. "have lost my trust, so you will need to gain it back," you said.
"I will try to make it up to you, I promise," Joost said.
"Do you guys find each other attractive at all?" the button chimed in.
"Jesus," you laughed, taken aback by the question. "Do you not have any decorum at all?" you asked.
"No, I don't," the button said. "Would you guys fuck?" the button pressed on in the blunt style it was known for.
You put your hands in front of your face in embarrassment. After you removed your hands again you looked Joost in the eyes and your heart fluttered. Of course, you would.
"Well, I mean I think you're attractive," you said timidly. "So, yeah," you said and shrugged your shoulders. Joost grinned.
"What about you, Joost?" the button asked.
"First off," Joost started with a big gesture and you wondered if this was the start of a thank you, but no. "I have the utmost respect for women," Joost said and put his hand on his chest over his heart "and I don't mean to objectify women," he continued and your heart was beating out of your chest. "but yeah, I would as well," Joost concluded and shrugged with a cheeky smile at you.
"Oooh, it's getting steamy in here," the button said.
"It's your fault," you pointed out.
"Can I get your number?" Joost said as he pulled out his phone and you giggled.
"Hey, this is not how this game works," the button protested.
"Yeah, you can have it," you said and started typing in your number in a new contact in Joost's phone.
"Alright, if you're gonna play by your rules," the button said. "I'm gonna go red for one last time and if you don't push me then you can go on a second date," the button explained and turned red.
You leaned back in your chair, crossed your arms and looked at Joost across from you. You were fully charmed by the man and you really hoped that he wasn't playing anything up for the cameras and that he was actually also into you. A few seconds of silence passed as you looked at each other before the button started lighting up in rainbow colours.
"Congrats, you've made it," the button said and Joost smiled at you.
You both got up from your chairs and you walked towards each other to hug. Joost was taller than you and as you engulfed each other in a deep hug his head could rest on top of yours.
"I can't wait for our date," Joost said.
"Same," you said. "Finally without all the cameras," you said as you pulled away and Joost looked at you with a knowing grin.

word count : 2.3k
pairing : roommate! yunho x roommate! reader
genre : fluff, comedy, smut (warning : 16+)
synopsis : laundry fight. that's it yes. (it's cute dw)
chapter 4
The first time you saw Yunho do laundry, you genuinely questioned your safety.
He stood in the middle of the laundry room, squinting at the washer like it was a complicated alien artifact. His phone was open to a YouTube tutorial titled “How To Wash Clothes Without Ruining Everything,” but somehow he was still… losing.
“I don’t understand why there are this many buttons,” he muttered. “It’s not a spaceship.”
You leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed. “Do you want me to do it for you?”
“No,” he said stubbornly. “I’m a grown man. I can wash a T-shirt.”
You raised an eyebrow. “Says the guy who once tried to microwave socks to dry them faster.”
“That was one time, and it was science.”
“It was a fire hazard.”
Yunho glanced at you, looking betrayed. “Are you ever gonna let that go?”
“Absolutely not.”
He groaned and turned back to the washer, muttering under his breath. You walked over, peeking at the machine.
“Okay,” you said, pointing. “This one is for temperature. This one is spin speed. And this—”
He cut you off with a pout. “Let me struggle in peace.”
“You’re so dramatic.”
He suddenly gasped. “Wait. Should I separate whites and colors?”
Your eyes widened. “Have you not been doing that?”
“…Should I have been?”
You stared at him in horror.
“I’ll buy new shirts,” he offered.
Ten minutes later, the two of you were sitting on the floor of the laundry room, surrounded by sorted piles of clothes, sipping juice boxes from the snack cabinet and waiting for the washer to finish.
Yunho leaned back against the wall, looking unreasonably proud. “I think we made progress.”
“You mean I did your laundry and provided drinks?”
He grinned. “We’re a team. Like Batman and… Bat-you.”
You snorted. “Wow. So creative.”
“Hey, I’m tired. Laundry drains my soul.”
He stretched out his legs and looked over at you.
“You know,” he said, “you’re actually kind of bossy when you’re in laundry mode.”
You rolled your eyes. “Someone has to be. Otherwise, you’d be wearing a pink hoodie right now and wondering why your socks smell like lavender and failure.”
He gasped. “That’s weirdly specific.”
“That’s because I did your laundry last week, too.”
“…Oh.”
You just shook your head, unable to suppress the smile tugging at your lips. Despite everything, it was nice—sitting here, teasing each other over the hum of the washing machine, feeling like the apartment had turned into its own little world.
You didn’t realize you were staring at him until he glanced over.
“What?”
You blinked. “What, what?”
“You were looking at me like I just said something profound.”
You immediately looked away. “No, I wasn’t.”
“You were,” he said, grinning. “Were you admiring my laundry skills? Be honest.”
“You literally had a crisis over sorting socks.”
“And survived. Stronger. Wiser. Sexier.”
You nearly choked on your juice box.
By the time the clothes were dry, Yunho had somehow gotten into a heated debate with you about the “proper” way to fold towels.
“No, no, no,” he said, demonstrating his technique with a dramatic flourish. “You gotta roll it. It’s fancier. Like a spa.”
“You live in an apartment that has socks in the fridge.”
“And yet, I bring luxury.”
You snatched the towel from his hands and folded it the way you preferred—clean, square, perfect edges. “This is how normal people do it.”
He gasped. “That’s so boring.”
“It’s efficient.”
“It’s soulless.”
You tossed the towel at him.
He caught it with a laugh and flopped onto the couch. “You and your Type A personality. Honestly, it’s impressive.”
You rolled your eyes but didn’t deny it. “And you’re… chaos. In a hoodie.”
“Opposites attract,” he said casually.
You looked up.
He was watching you, one eyebrow raised, clearly teasing—but something in his voice made your heart skip a beat anyway.
You shoved that feeling down. Not today, feelings. Not today.
The week passed in your usual shared-routine rhythm.
Yunho left Post-it notes everywhere like a little chaos fairy. You started putting up your own—half teasing, half genuine. He called them “love notes” and refused to stop saying it even after you told him he sounded like a cheesy K-drama second lead. (literally him in imitation)
The tension between you two, though? That was new.
Not obvious, not loud—but it was there.
In the way his gaze lingered a second too long when you were making coffee.
In the way you found yourself adjusting your shirt when he walked into the room.
In the way your knees brushed under the table, and neither of you moved.
One night, while watching a movie, you ended up sharing a blanket. You both pretended it wasn’t a big deal, but your hearts were racing like idiots in a marathon.
It was a slow burn. A stupid, fluffy, confusing slow burn.
And you were melting right into it.
Then came Saturday Night.
Game Night.
Yunho’s friends were coming over for board games, pizza, and general chaos.
You weren’t nervous. Not really. But… maybe a little. You’d heard stories.
“So, just to prepare myself,” you asked as you wiped down the kitchen counter, “what are your friends like?”
Yunho grinned while adjusting snacks on a tray. “Chaotic, competitive, loud. Like me, but multiplied by four.”
You groaned. “This is a mistake.”
“You love mistakes.”
“Yunho.”
He leaned in, smug. “You said it, not me.”
The doorbell rang at seven sharp.
And the chaos began.
Hongjoong, San, Seonghwa, and Wooyoung poured into the apartment like a storm of laughter and energy.
“Yo, she’s real!” Wooyoung said dramatically the second he saw you. “We thought you were just a cover story so Yunho could keep the apartment to himself.”
You blinked. “Excuse me?”
“He’s been talking about his roommate for weeks,” Seonghwa explained with a grin. “We assumed you were a fictional dream girl.”
You turned to Yunho, eyebrows raised.
He coughed. “It’s not— I mean, I didn’t say that much—”
“You said she made oat milk cool,” San added.
“…You did what now?”
Yunho looked ready to melt into the floor. “Anyway! Pizza?”
Three rounds of Uno, one dramatic Jenga collapse, and a loud argument about the rules of Pictionary later, you found yourself on the couch next to Yunho, your legs brushing as the others screamed over a game of charades.
Yunho leaned over to whisper, “This is going better than expected.”
You smiled. “Your friends are nice.”
He looked at you. “They like you.”
“You sound surprised.”
He shook his head. “I’m not. You’re… easy to like.”
The noise faded just for a second.
Your eyes met his.
There it was again. That pull.
You cleared your throat and looked away. “Thanks.”
You didn’t notice Wooyoung watching the two of you from across the room, eyebrows raised.
Later that night, after everyone had left and the apartment had returned to its usual messy silence, you and Yunho stood in the kitchen, sipping leftover soda from paper cups.
He nudged your shoulder. “Thanks for not running away.”
You smiled sleepily. “Your friends are… a lot. But in a good way.”
He nodded, then looked at you for a moment. “They kept asking if we’re together.”
You froze. “Oh.”
“I told them no,” he added quickly. “But they didn’t believe me.”
You didn’t say anything.
He looked away, rubbing the back of his neck. “Anyway. Just thought that was funny.”
“Yeah,” you said softly. “Funny.”
He smiled, but it didn’t quite reach his eyes.
You turned to go to your room.
“Hey,” he said suddenly.
You looked back.
Yunho stood there, messy-haired, barefoot, hoodie sleeves covering his hands.
“You’re really easy to live with,” he said. “I didn’t expect that.”
You stared at him, your heart too loud.
“You too,” you whispered.
And then you slipped away, closing your door with a quiet click.
Leaning against it, you let out a long breath.
That tension?
It wasn’t so subtle anymore.

Making out with Charlie in the kitchen of a friends house at a costume party with music in the background….
Charlie Slimecicle x Reader drabble: Costume Party
OH MY GOODDDD. No because the way I was just thinking about this because I saw the photo of Charlie as beast boy again!!!
I only briefly proofread this before posting so oops
Warning: making out at parties, alcohol, suggestive content
Ted had been asking you to go to this party for weeks
“You need to get out more!” He said dramatically during one of your FaceTimes
You guffawed at him, but eventually gave in once he virtually pinky promised to keep you company all night and drive you to the party
He had the biggest shit eating grin when you finally agreed
“Don’t make me regret this!” You scolded him and he held his hands up in surrender
You honestly didn’t put much thought into your costume, you had a raven costume from a Halloween in previous years that had been a hit hanging in your closet
It was the perfect mix of hot, recognizable and low effort
You paired it with dark makeup and some knee high black books, and damn diva you ate
True to his word, Ted picked you up and drove you both to the party
When you finally made it to the party it was overwhelming
The house was huge
Every inch of it was covered in Halloween decorations that honestly all together probably costed more than your rent
The house just screamed YouTuber money
As soon as you entered the house Ted disappeared, “I’ll find you later!! Byeeee!! Have fun!! Mingle!” He yelled over his shoulder as he disappeared into the crowd of people
You spent about half an hour dodging over enthusiastic partygoers, sipping on some sort of alcoholic seltzer, and attempting to make small talk over the music
You managed to make a bit of small talk with others but it was impossible to hear with the bass of the music that shook the entire house
You were starting to wonder why you let Ted drag you to this
Sure you recognized most of the people here but you weren’t particularly close to any of them
You found refuge in the empty kitchen, the only spot in the house that the bass didn’t seem to reach
You sipped on your drink and leaned against the counter
The idea of just calling an uber was becoming more and more appealing by the minute
As soon as you pulled out your phone, the kitchen door swung open
In walked Charlie, calling over his shoulder to someone in the other room as he entered the kitchen
His eyes immediately landed on you and his expression shifted to pure delight
He was dressed as beast boy, his green face paint was slightly smudged and his hair was extra messy from the green hairspray
He strode across the kitchen and stood right in front of you
“Oh my god hey! What are you doing here?” He said with a large grin, his voice a familiar mix of teasing and surprise
He didnt even notice your costume at first and was just solely zoned in on you
Because damn you looked hot
Then he realized
“OH MY GOD! You’re raven!”
He took a step back to really take in your costume
“You had to know I was gonna be beast boy!” He exclaimed and accusingly pointed a finger your way
“ totally, I hacked into your brain and planned this months ago” you replied dryly
He just laughed, the sound just so warm and effortless
“I mean I don’t blame you, I would wanna match with me too” he teased while leaning against the counter next to you
The two of you easily slip back into your familiar banter
Ted had introduced you two a while back and you had hit it off right away
Charlie was handsome, funny, and charming but at the time you had been introduced he had been in a relationship
Now that he was single, you dynamic changed
And it was especially different tonight
Might have been the costumes, maybe it was the energy of the party, or maybe it was just him
So many accidental subtle touches
Brief moments where your hands touch that makes your stomach flip
“You really pull off the whole raven vibe” he complimented during a lull of silence in the conversation
his tone was playful but his gaze lingered a moment too long causing your face to flush
A couple of people wander into the kitchen and compliment you on how great you guys look together
before you can protest Charlie pulls you closer to him by your waist and thanks them
Someone snaps a cute photo of the two of you in your pose
Once the others in the kitchen leave the atmosphere in the kitchen shifts
Charlie’s hand is still rested on your waist
He leans in a little closer to you, his voice soft
“You know, I wasn’t expecting to see you here tonight. But I’m glad you came.”
Instead of responding, you leaned in
It was a short hesitant kiss, you pulled away quickly
But before you can say anything, Charlie responds quickly
He pulls you closer with both hands on your waist kisses you, this time deepening the kiss
You pressed yourself closer to him
His hand on your waist tightened slightly and the other ghosted up to your cheek, his thumb resting gently on your skin
The kiss is a bit clumsy but overwhelming earnest, like he can’t believe this is happening
And honestly neither of you can believe that this is actually happening
Charlie turns you so your back is to the counter
The counter digs into your back as Charlie moves forward, leaving no space between your bodies
His fingers slide from your cheek to your hair, tangling in it lightly as he tilts his head for a better angle
His breath hitches slightly when your hands find their way to the back of his neck, pulling him even closer
The kiss becomes more feverish
This is the moment you both have been waiting for
His lips move against yours as if he can’t decide whether to speed up or slow down
Eventually you both break apart for air, your foreheads resting against each other as you try to catch your breath
Your hands stay firmly placed on one another
“Wow” his voice dazed and low “that was -uh- wow”
You both laugh softly
Charlie’s eyes never leave yours, he’s staring at you like you’re the only person in the world
Just as Charlie leaned in for another kiss, the sound of the kitchen door creaking open startled both of you.
You pulled back slightly "I knew it!" Ted's voice cut through the moment
"Charlie, you look like you were just attacked at a goth makeup counter”
Ted then turns and looks at you “ and you look like you’re auditioning for shrek 5”
You instinctively reach up to touch your face, realizing your fingers came away faintly green.
Your face burns with embarrassment
Charlie just shrugs and replies “what can I say Ted we just got really into character”
Ted just cringes and says something along the lines of “gross” underneath his breath before retreating from the kitchen
As soon as Ted leaves you both melt into laughter
“Well that was mortifying” you comment as you use a napkin to try and wipe the green face paint off your cheek
“Could have been worse.” Charlie said while chuckling, gently taking the napkin from your hand and wiping your cheek himself
He finishes wiping your face (not that it helped much)
“So where did we leave off?” He says lowly as he leans in closely to your ear
You shiver as you feel his breath against your ear
“How about we go somewhere where we won’t have to worry about getting caught again?” You suggest
Safe to say charlies never bought and uber quicker
I’m actually obsessed with Charlie as beast boy was so fucking cute, I wanna makeout with his stupid green face 😭

downloading... nana vlogs ep 1 : wishes in wells
masterlist | cyana's masterlist
[NANAVLOGS𐙚] - Wishes In Wells (우물 안의 소원) EP. 1
word count: 2.3k TW: shit ton of fluff, some hate italics are in english this vlog series is written from the pov of the yt video lol / format might be wonky on phones
Cyana's seen fiddling with the camera lenses, wiping it gently with her sleeve, blocking the view for a spilt second. She smiles, satisfied and waves to the camera.
"Caratdeul~ Hello~" She smiles, excited. "Welcome to Nana's Vlogs! You're surprised right? I'm surprised too. I didn't think I'd get my own series on Seventeen's Youtube channel so soon."
Flipping the camera, she pans across her room. "Cyana's room reveal for the first time~" She laughs shyly from behind the camera as she moved around, showing Carats her living quarters. "I room with Hao but he's not home right now." Flipping the camera back, she gave viewers a cheeky grin. "Today's our day off so I thought I'd turn on the camera and take you guys with me! We're meeting with Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino for a fun day out."
Humming as she walked towards the full length mirror in her room, she flipped the camera to show Carats her outfit. "Outfit of the day! We're wearing a blue flannel to match our jeans and white sneakers so I'll be comfortable walking all day. Okay- let's go!"
Cyana poses for the camera, joined by Seungkwan as he waves a peace sign towards the camera.
"Hi Caratdeuls~" Seungkwan throws an arm causally around Cyana's shoulders. "Our beautiful Cyana's paying for our meal today!"
Cyana frowned, pushing Seungkwan off her and out of frame. "Since when? I didn't agree to that?" Seungkwan could be heard laughing off camera.
Cyana turned to the camera, addressing the viewers. "Guys, don't be fooled. Seungkwan's been lying a lot recently. Must be all the influence from living with Hannie oppa." She muttered the last part, side-eyeing Seungkwan when he let out an indignant hey! "Sorry, Hannie. Don't watch this please."
Turning the camera, Vernon and Dino are seen watching the pair, amused. Pushing the camera close to Vernon's face, the viewers are greeting by an up-close and personal shot of Vernon's eyes and nose.
"Vernon, say hi to Carats." Cyana prompted him, holding back a snicker when she saw Vernon's eyebrows furrow at the strange angle.
"Hi, Carats." Vernon deadpanned, nudging the camera towards Dino. "Dino, say hi to Carats."
Dino waved. "Hi~ We're going to go eat lunch right now." Taking the camera from Cyana, he began conversing to the viewers, throwing TMIs out into the wild. "Seungkwan said he's been craving food from a restaurant we used to frequent as trainees, so we thought we'd bring Nana to show her around. We haven't been back in this neighbourhood in awhile."
"I wonder if the lady running the place still remembers us." Vernon mused, remembering the amount of times she had fed them years ago.
"The food there is soooo good." Seungkwan practically moaned in recalling the memory. He shook Cyana, as if to get the point across. "Soooo good."
Cyana gave him a small smile. "I'm sure it is, Kwan. There's no need to shake me." There was a hint of amusement hidden in her tone.
Dino pulled her next to him, grabbing her arm to loop it with his. "You can walk with me, Nana. I'm much safer."
She snorted at the statement. "Who was it that was making me skip down the street with him last week?"
"Ai~" Dino tried defending himself. "Wasn't that cute though?"
"Our second maknae doesn't want to be cute, Dino." Vernon had a big grin on his face. "She's into being nonchalant."
"Nonchalawhat?" Dino exclaimed, confused. "You can't just spring an English word on me like that." He frowned at the camera when Vernon and Cyana just laughed. Removing his arm from Cyana's hold, he moved to join Seungkwan instead, pouting. "Never mind. I'm walking with Seungkwan."
The restaurant was bustling with energy when the four of them entered, having put on masks before walking in. Cyana had regained possession of the camera and was busy filming the little water fountain and pond they had at the waiting area.
"Wahh~" She marvelled quietly, Seungkwan getting them a table in the background. "This is so cool."
Vernon moved into frame to join her. "We used to make wishes here, before we left."
She turned to look at him, a teasing smile on her face. "Did any of them come true?"
Vernon thought about it before nodding. "I think we all would always wish for success. And to have fans who loved us." He sent an embarrassed look to the viewers. "So I guess our wishes all came true."
"Ooooo." Cyana pointed a finger at him. "Vernon's flustered~" She turned to the camera, as Seungkwan motioned to them that he had gotten them a table. "Only Carats can make Vernon flush like that, y'know. He's so sentimental."
Sitting down, Cyana set the camera in front of her as she opened her menu. Scanning it, her face grew more confused as she read. Poking Dino, who was sat next to her, she hesitantly slid her menu over to him. "I can't understand anything." She mumbled, a little sad.
Dino pouted. "It's okay, I'll read it for you." He scanned the items before looking at her. "What do you want? Rice? Noodles? There's rice cakes too."
She frowned, hesitating.
"You can choose anything." Seungkwan reminded her from behind the camera, sitting on the opposite side of her. "No diet, remember?"
"Noodles, then? Please."
Dino nodded. "Okay." He began listing out the options for her to choose from.
Feeling indecisive, she motioned for him to pick. "Just pick something you'd think I'd like. You've been here before."
Dino frowned. "That's a lot of pressure."
"Get her the Kalguksu." Vernon suggested, knowing Cyana would like the lightness the dish had.
Once ordering, Cyana waved at the camera. "I'm gonna turn the camera off for a bit- sorry~." She gave them a little wink. "We're gonna update each other and we've got a lot of.." She paused trying to find the right words.
"Tea." Seungkwan butted in, proud to showcase a new vocab word Cyana had taught him.
She laughed. "Yes. Tea. Be back soon!"
"Oh! Ajumma!"
Cyana fumbled to turn on the camera as Seungkwan called out to the lady holding their bill. She turned the camera, just in time to catch Seungkwan hugging the elderly woman gently.
"Oh, Seungkwan-ah." The restaurant owner pinched his cheek endearingly. "Wah, you've grown so big. So handsome."
Seungkwan's ears turned pink. He bowed, thanking her. "We needed to come back to have your food again, ajumma. We missed it so much."
She smiled happily at his words. "Oh! Chan! Hansol!"
Cyana watched the interaction with a big smile on her face, heart warmed to see the boys so comfortable and smiling. She assumed they must've all felt like kids again, meeting someone who had fed them with so much love.
"Oh- who's this?" The grandma turned to her, head tilted in confusion.
Cyana passed the camera wordlessly to Dino, bowing in greeting. "Hello, I'm Cyana. Your cooking is delicious, I had enjoyed it so much."
She smiled, thanking her before turning to Seungkwan and whispering, "Is this your girlfriend? Or is it Chan's?" She frowned at Dino before continuing. "You're too young to be dating, Chan-ah."
"Ajumma!" Dino protested. "I'm 20 now."
She seemed surprised at the age. "Already? Well, still. Is this your girlfriend then, Chan? You should've brought her to me sooner." She chided.
Both Cyana and Dino's eyes widened at the assumption. "No, no." Cyana corrected her quickly. "I'm their new member."
The grandmother's eyebrows furrowed. "Hm. Seventeen has a girl member now?"
"Yes, ajumma. She's very talented." Seungkwan replied.
Cyana was touched at how quick he was to defend her.
The grandmother waved her hands at Seungkwan's comment. "Ah, I'm not saying she isn't. I'm sure she is, if she's working with you boys." She turned to Cyana and smiled. "It must be hard, but congratulation! The boys are such lucky people. You are lucky too- they're so sweet, even as kids." She patted Dino's cheek. "This one used to come to me crying whenever he was scolded."
Dino's face flushed. "Ajumma-" He protested once again, whining. "Don't expose me like that."
As they got up to leave once paying, the grandmother pulled Cyana aside, allowing the others to go first. Vernon had possession of the camera now, busy telling Carats childhood memories they had at this place.
"Listen to me, young lady." The grandmother said quietly. "I basically raised most of them, they used to come to me for everything- not just food. Hurt any one of them and I'll learn how to use SNS just to find you." Her narrowed eyes softened when she paused. "But- I suppose if you were to go anywhere, Seventeen is the best place. The boys are very loyal to anyone they love. You will be safe and very lucky with them." Her eyes seemed to go far away as she continued, as if sucked into the past. "They used to make wishes at the fountain- you know the one in the front."
Cyana nodded. "Yes. Ver- Hansol told me."
"I told them the fountain was magical, that the water was connected to a spring up in the mountains that gods had blessed before. They were young and innocent, they would've believed anything I told them." She laughed at the memory. "They'd come and throw a coin in- making a wish with all their might. I wanted it to give them hope, purpose. I doubt they still believe in it now, but back then- some of them used to save up that coin to make a wish instead of spending it on a comic book or a video game. Seungcheol came back a couple years ago when they debuted and told me the fountain had worked, even if he knew I had made up the story. Said I was the one who made it magical. He always had a way with words, that one." She sniffled a bit.
Cyana patted her back, trying to comfort her. "From the way they were all talking about you on the way over here, you did make it magical. They said you got them through it all."
She smiled, patting her arm before letting her go. "Take good care of them. My lucky boys."
"I will." Cyana promised.
Walking to join the others, she noticed Vernon lingering near the fountain. She moved to join him, fishing out a coin from her jacket pocket and handing it to him. "Make a wish."
He let out a laugh. "The camera's with Seungkwan and Dino outside. What are you doing?"
"Not for show." She reminded him, urging him to take it. "Make a wish. Like when you were kids."
Vernon hesitated, taking it before handing it back. "You should do it. I've done it hundreds of times as a kid."
"Are you sure?" Cyana asked.
He nodded. "You'd use it better, I'm sure."
Closing her eyes, she grasped onto the coin tightly, reaching for all the belief she had in the world. A lot of it had died as a kid. Opening her eyes again, she flicked the coin into the water.
"What'd you wish for?" Vernon asked after a beat.
Cyana shrugged. "I'm not supposed to say it out loud or it won't come true."
"I didn't know you still held childish beliefs."
She laughed. "I don't. Just thought I'd allow myself to act like a kid for once."
He nodded. "Okay. Keep your secrets." Pulling her into him, he led both of them out the restaurant, catching up with the others.
"Hello~" Cyana was back in her room now, arriving home after a long day with the others. "Sorry I didn't film much after the restaurant." She said sheepishly, plopping down on her bed. "Dino insisted we go to a playground to 'relive our youth,' so I didn't film much. We had fun though! I'll post some pictures we took on weverse later."
She paused for a moment, trying to remember what it was she had wanted as her outro. "Anyways," She smiled shyly at the camera. "This has been the first episode of Nana Vlogs, I hope you had fun- I know I did."
The door opened from behind her as Minghao stepped in. "Oh-"
"Hao!" She exclaimed. "Perfect. It's so awkward doing an outro by myself." She got up and dragged him closer to the camera. "Say hi and bye to Carats~"
Minghao waved, amused. "Hi Carats~ Did you have fun with Cyana today?"
"They took me to the restaurant next to Samseong Jungang Station. I made a wish at the fountain." She updated Minghao excitedly.
His eyes widened in recognition. "Ohh, the one with ajumma." He smiled fondly down at Cyana, who was grinning happily. "Well, that means you're officially one of us now, if you made a wish."
Cyana nodded. "I have so much to tell you-" She rambled, happy he was finally home. "And I want to know about where you and Jun disappeared off to."
Minghao could only laugh at her enthusiasm. It was rare to see, but he assumed the outing had brought out her childlike self again. "Okay- but first, say bye to Carats."
Cyana flushed. "Whoops." Grabbing the camera and lifting it to eye level, she waved goodbye. "Bye bye Carats~ See you next time!"
....end! cyana will be back in ep 2

A Long Day | Sam Golbach
A/N: atp my whole blog is becoming a Sam golbach dedication page [gif is made by me]
It was about 11:00 when you got home. Your head was on the steering wheel, you smelt of your job and most of your sweat. You sat like that for ten minutes, before moving and grabbing your personal belongings and getting out of your car and locking it. You sometimes wished you were an influencer like your boyfriend, Sam.
Once you opened the shared apartment of yours, Sam’s, and Colby’s, you heard Sam’s rushing footsteps from the stairs. “Baby I’ve missed you,” he whined, crushing you while you stood there dead. “I’ve missed you too,” you croaked. “It was hell. All hell today. All I want to do is relax and take this ugly stupid uniform off,” you choke out.
“Crappy day?” You hear Colby ask from the kitchen, as soon as you emerge from the hallway, Colby’s eyes widened. “Crappy day…” he whispered to himself. “Black Friday is hell. I think I might quit.” You wail, “you should,” Sam sung out. “You know me and Colby make the most money out of you, there’s no reason you should be working a retail job.” He finished, “I explained to you why I should work though,” Colby looked up from the sandwich he made. “But why should you work?” He asked.
You take a sip from your water before you spoke, “I feel the need to repay you both for letting me live with you guys. Plus, I buy the groceries, and I need my job to buy groceries for us.” You hum, Sam smirked just so slightly but you saw it, “what was that?” You asked him. “Actually…” he coughed out, “I buy the groceries.”
“No you don’t. I do.” Sam shook his head again, “do you ever check your card to see which one you’re using?” He asked. Your eyebrows furrowed. You looked into your purse pocket, and grabbed out your card. “It has my name on it? I’m paying for the groceries.” Sam tch’d, “it might have your name on it, but it’s under my money. I got another card back a while ago for you, you really don’t need to repay us anything you know. You’re my girlfriend, I’m the one who’s supposed to be buying things.” Your jaw dropped.
Your eyes looked back to the card again, looking at it closely this time. It definitely looked like your card, but the numbers definitely didn’t match up with your actual card. “When did you do this? Sam, this feels- illegal?” You question, handing the card to him but he doesn’t even want to take it. “Baby, you work hard every single day. You deserve your money. Colby and I, we’re YouTubers who gets millions of views just for our content and ourselves honestly. You deserve the money you get to not be wasted on us.” Your eyes start to water, Colby awe’s, and Sam does after him. “Come on, let’s get you all relaxed and we can go to sleep later.”
“I really don’t deserve you,” you whispered, walking up the stairs before Sam as he rubbed your back. “I deserve you as much as you deserve me. You and I are like two peas in a pod. We can’t get rid of each other even if we tried,” Sam spoke. You smiled, walking into the shared room and taking everything off while Sam was getting the bath ready. You let go of your hair, and walked to the bathroom. “The water is extra hot, just how you like it.” He kissed your lips longingly, and then you got into the bath.
You moaned, “mhm, this feels nice.” You heard rustling as your eyes clothed, and you assumed its Sam also taking off his clothes to get into the bath with you. You scoot over, and he sits behind you. You relaxed into him, your body slowly sinking. “Can we just stay like this forever?” You asked, looking up at him as you kissed his jaw line. “We’d be all wrinkly.!!” Sam chuckled out, “oh that’s true..” you nodded.
The two of you stayed in the bath for twenty minutes, before that cleaning yourselves obviously. Sam got up first, grabbing two towels. One for you, and one for him. “It’s freezing in here,” you yawned. “We are in the bathroom, it usually is the coldest place in the apartment.” All you do was nod, to tired to talk.
You both get dressed into pajamas, do your night routine, and then finally hop in bed with one little night light besides your bedside. You cuddle into Sam as his arm wraps around you. “Mmhm, just think about it.” He spoke. You already know what he’s talking about, “Colby and I make more than enough and we’re happy to share with you, or at least I am. Quit your job, your managers AND boss suck. Let me spoil you even more than I do now,” he whined out.
You chuckle just a little bit, “I’ll think about it.” You can feel him grin. “I love you I love you I love you I love you—,” he keeps repeating the words, his lips all over your skin that he could reach. You giggle from this, squirming from his touch. “I said I’ll think about it that answer wasn’t a yes,” you reminded him. “But it wasn’t a no like all the other times,” you nod in agreement. “I guess that’s true.”
“Alright, let’s head to bed.. it’s almost 1 in the morning.” You groan, “I gotta be there at 8:30 tomorrow.” Sam gagged, “seriously baby, just quit. Call in sick, then ghost them, and then just never go into work again and never go to that shop. If you do ever need some type of cute clothing from there I’ll go get it as soon as you tell me too,” he rambles on and on, and you laugh at his response from the time you told him you needed to wake up.
“Sam?” You hum out, “im going to bed. I love you,” you close your eyes. His rambling stops, and he smiles as his eyes closes. “I love you too, goodnight sweetheart.” He kisses your head, and silence fills the room.

Best Friends?
Description: Leighton and Reader have been best friends since forever and both fall in love with each other. Tension rises when Leighton gets back with Alicia and Reader finally reaches the breaking point.
WARNINGS: ANGST like a mf.
leighton didn't know what to do.
her best friend was ignoring her. y/n hadn't talked to her in three days. and leighton was absolutely clueless.
she had tried to reach out to y/n's roommates to figure out why she wasn't talking to her but none of them could tell her either. the blonde was picking her brain for everything she might have forgotten.
birthday? nope.
friendiversary? nope.
she couldn't think of anything. she had even talked to alicia about it and her girlfriend just shook it off to y/n going through something. alicia reassured her that she would be fine and offered to take her girlfriend out for the weekend to cheer her up. as much as leighton didn't wanna leave, maybe this is what she needed. so, her and alicia packed a couple of bags and drove to new york for the weekend.
back at essex, y/n was in the weight room. it was well past midnight but y/n's thoughts were racing. she kept curling the barbell in her hand.
all she could think about was leighton.
how she smiled when y/n made a bad joke.
how she cuddled up to y/n when it was their weekly movie night.
how she always gave y/n the first cookies when they baked together.
y/n usually wouldn't be thinking this hard about the blonde but something made her feelings go all over the place.
or, more like someone.
alicia.
it wasn't that y/n didn't like alicia. it's more like alicia didn't like y/n. the girl didn't like y/n the first time her and leighton dated and she doesn't like her even more now that they are out. she never shows her disdain for y/n around leighton though. she doesn't want the blonde to know.
y/n began to run on the treadmill when a text came through on her airpods.
from bestest friend in the whole world: hey, we haven't talked in a minute. i just wanna check in on you. you're worrying me. alicia took me to new york so if i don't hear from you by the time i come back, i'm hunting you down.
from bestest friend in the whole world: i just saw your location...why are you at the gym this late? you only do this when you're really going through something.
from bestest friend in the whole world: do you wanna facetime and talk? alicia is asleep but we can stay quiet.
y/n got tired of the messages and turned her phone off.
so much for a peaceful workout.
that became y/n's routine for the weekend. sleep most of the day, workout most of the night.
she received multiple texts and calls from leighton but they all went ignored. luckily for y/n, when monday came around, leighton couldn't come kill her due to her being busy. she managed to hold out until thursday, a whole week since she had talked to the blonde last.
leighton was a storm that was just waiting to unleash her power. y/n still hadn't talked to her and of it wasn't for alicia taking her on a date every night this week, y/n would've already faced the wrath.
y/n was in her dorm watching youtube, doing her homework when there was a loud knock on the door. groaning, she got up and out of her room, fully expecting one of her roommates to be on the other side.
boy, was she wrong.
leighton stood on the other side, angrier than y/n had ever seen her. the girl gulped audibly as the blonde pushed her way into the room. "oh, sure, invite yourself in why don't you?" the blonde turned her death glare back to y/n. "yeah, it's the least i can do after my best friend practically ghosted me for no reason for a week!"
y/n rolled her eyes and went to go back to her room when leighton stopped her. "what is wrong with you this week? you haven't talked to me, you've actively avoided me, and whitney told me that you seemed tired in practice all week. care to explain yourself?" y/n sighed. "no, i don't care to explain myself leighton. wasn't aware you had gone low enough to get your roommate to spy on me."
leighton scoffed. "can you blame me? now, i'm calling for a mandatory sleepover so i can pick that brain of yours and figure out what's going on." y/n shook her head. "don't you have a girlfriend to attend to?" leighton looked at y/n confused. "no, she's at the center tonight doing slam poetry. why would i have to attend to her?"
y/n shrugged. "i don't know, just seems like you guys are attached to the hip and she refuses to let you do anything on your own." leighton's jaw dropped at y/n's words. did y/n always feel this way? had leighton been a bad friend?
"what do you mean? are you jealous of our relationship? i told you i could hook you up with someone, y/n. why didn't you tell me?" y/n avoided the question. "leighton, i have a ton of homework to do. go back to your dorm." leighton shook her head. "no, we need to talk this out. are you jealous of me and alicia?" after a few minutes of back and forth, y/n finally snapped.
"you know what leighton? yeah, i am jealous. i'm jealous that alicia is the one who gets to hold your hand in public. i'm jealous that alicia gets to take you on dates. i'm jealous that she gets that smile of yours that you used to only reserve for me." leighton stood shocked but y/n kept going.
"i'm jealous she gets to kiss you and sweep you off your feet and treat you like the princess you are. but most of all, i'm jealous that she had the courage to ask you out before i did." y/n had tears streaming down her face, as did leighton. the blonde's voice cracked as she tried to walk towards y/n. "y/n..i-i had no idea. i-"
y/n held her hand up. "just go leighton. i can't do this right now." and with that, she turned, walking into her bedroom, shutting the door behind her, leaving a crying leighton in the common room.
the blonde grabbed her purse and went back to her dorm.
both girls cried themselves to sleep that night. y/n because she thought she ruined her friendship with leighton.
leighton because she finally realized she was in love with y/n.
