Blake's voice comes after another forced--not really-- mouthful of food, cocking his head back to rest on Yang's chest and look up at her. While they all know this is true, they also know Yang also has his tail held firmly in her other hand. Something that she could do because harming Blake with malice in mind was never on the table, but as a punishment for not eating? Absolutely.

"I don't see it happening, Blake."

Weiss snorts as she raises the fork again, thinking the whole situation is actually incredibly funny. It is. Really, it is. Two of team RWBY ganging up on the third to force him to eat? Hilarious.

Especially when this is only happening because Yang had enough of Blake pulling the same thing on her. So she's got her tail pinning his legs together in a tight wrap and one arm around his midsection to keep his arm pinned and him from trying to escape.

"Just eat, you dork."

If you’re talking about the amazing ask blog by @asksonicverse (which everyone should check out by the way), then yes, partially. However, there’s a ton of amazing sonic (and other characters!!) ask blogs right now. I’ve been inspired by all of them, and even just the concept of crossovers in general, to make this blog. (Spiderman No Way Home you will always be famous)

For me, it’s very hard to draw because I never have ideas on the spot. As a result, and ask blog is perfect for someone like me because it’s me drawing reactions to things that people ask! Plus everyone can interact with the characters and be a part of the plot themselves.

However, my ask blog will be going in a different direction. For one, I’ll be “focusing” the most on the movie versions of Sonic and Shadow. They’re my personal favorites, and character wise they both have a lot of room to grow. Which is great for the 🎉 plot 🎉 of this blog!

My cast is also going to be different because I just watched different Sonic media. There’s obviously the movie verse and SxS gen (which this blog is named after btw), but I do plan to include other favorites of mine like Sir Lancelot and Frontier’s Sonic. Both of which who don’t have a Sonic/Shadow counterpart in their verse. Well.. (frontiers does but it’s a one-off line so we’re ignoring it for now)

I also do plan to include Boom because they’re objectively the funniest, and Prime because of how it ties in with multiverse aus. The current version of this blog would have a similar but different cast, because frankly, I’m not interested in the exact same things as any other ask blog author! I’ve never touched the IDW or Archie comics, and I watched bits and pieces of different media so I wouldn’t be able to write everyone well. Which is how I got this cast!!

In all, I totally get why you asked and I appreciate the question! But, I do plan on making this different from other ask blogs, I got a different cast and a different plot. It’s what makes everything so fun! No one’s blog is the same, and I hope that you’ll stick around for the long haul in mine!

I don't have anything in mind for young Daniel, but I do for Old Maniel and Armand! I'm actually looking up reference photos for it right now as we speak 😊

WHY DO I HATE MY FAVORITE CHARACTER

genuine question but is there any fandom where a character is well written by the majority. im thinking about fandom culture and the spread of frustration when people dont write characters well but. honestly in all the fandoms ive been in there's only like, a Select number of authors who i trust to write Well, let alone write Well AND In Character. character analysis and writing and getting inside characters' heads are all separate skills (all of which are trained by roleplaying fyi can CONFIRM playing pretend with your friends is good for you). there's been more than once where I've disagreed with an interpretation that others agreed with, and then I turned out wrong. or i turned out right. like it doesnt matter WHO is right it just matters that differences in character analysis exist, so even if you DO write well AND write in character, your in character is still going to be someone else's out of character

there's this sort of. vibe. that to play in the sandbox you Need to be able to make a castle, and if you can't make a castle then you shouldn't bother, and it completely dismisses the idea that youre in that sandbox to PLAY in the first place. there's this Weight of disappointing someone if you can't build something that they like, but that forgets that you aren't there to build them a castle. like, be KIND. if you disagree with someone then please make an effort to do so kindly. i dont give a shit about fandom discourse but there is a reason kids get removed from sandboxes if they keep throwing sand in people's eyes. but if they don't like your misshapen sand pile, then youre not obligated to change it. even if you yourself end up hating that same sand pile later- youre not building a legacy. youre playing. and sometimes the result of that play is out of character drivel. theres a reason there are so many authors and so few who i like to consistently read and thats because everyone is Fucking Around in their hobby space. hash tag brag or whatever but i can build castles. ive built several that im v proud of. ive also dug holes in the sand for fun and then tripped on them when trying to get up. I often dug a hole and then got up and fucking- whoops, its a castle now, and i didn't realize i'd made something to be proud of until after the fact. the whole time while creating shit i was Convinced it was bullshit that didn't make sense. and then other times i was Convinced it was bullshit and then i was Right and i can look back and go. huh. ew. but it doesn't matter what the end result was, because i had fun playing in the sandbox

this wasn't meant to turn into a ramble but i have Feelings about bad art and art that's badly perceived and how public perception can screw with your head and how making art youre proud of is fucking. it's so difficult!!! it's hard!! it's really fun, which is why i try to make it, but i promise you it is Okay to not tryhard creativity. even if you CAN, it's okay not to do it all the time. or ever, even. fuck around find out have fun etc
