(Luna's POV)

As your consciousness returns, your eyes flutter open to darkness. You instinctively bolt upright, arms up and ready to defend yourself from an unknown threat. Your heart races as you wait for an attack that never comes. Gradually, you start to make out the details of the room you're in - an empty, windowless chamber with cool, smooth walls that seem to be made of concrete or stone.

Your eyes dart around the room, scanning for any signs of danger. The silence is oppressive, broken only by your own ragged breathing. Your mind races with questions - how did you get here? Who brought you here? And most importantly, why?

As your eyes adjust to the darkness, you start to notice the small details of the room - a faint musty odor, a single rusted pipe protruding from the wall, and a thick layer of dust on the floor. But there's no sign of an exit, no clue as to where you are or how to get out.

Then you eyes caught something on the ground, is a piece of white paper with something written on it.

You quickly grab it and read it's contents.

"An ask paper!" you groaned out, knowing that Author is the one who put you here.

Your mind races with a sudden realization that hits you like a ton of bricks - you're trapped here, and it's no accident. The pieces start to fall into place as you remember the last thing you saw before everything went black - the face of Author, twisted into a sinister grin.

Your heart sinks as you realize that you've fallen right into their trap. The anger and frustration that boil up inside you are almost too much to bear. You grit your teeth and clench your fists, trying to keep your emotions in check.

"So basically they kidnap me so that they can do this ask." you say.

"Very well if that's what they want, then that's the one they will get!"

You take a deep breath and try to remain calm despite the anger and frustration simmering inside you. You know that your best chance of escaping this situation is to play along with Author's twisted game.

Grabbing a nearby pencil, you start to write down the names of the people who may have helped Author kidnap you. Elrick and Serena are the first names that come to mind, and you jot them down on the paper.

As you write, you start to brainstorm ideas for revenge. You know that you don't want to resort to violence, but you're determined to make Elrick and Serena regret ever crossing you. You start to jot down some possible methods of revenge, your mind racing with possibilities.

Public Humiliation: You'll find a way to expose their secrets and weaknesses to the world, leaving them vulnerable and exposed.

Ruining Their Reputation: You'll spread rumors and lies about them, tarnishing their good name and making them social pariahs.

Give Them A Dose Of Their Own Medicine: You could set up a fake scenario that would make them think they're in danger, just like you are now.

With a pencil in hand, you spent the next hour furiously jotting down possible plans for revenge. The sound of lead scratching against paper fills the otherwise silent room, as you pour all your anger and frustration into the page.

Finally, you hear a sound that snaps you back to reality - the creaking of a door opening. Your head snaps up, and you see Author standing in the doorway, their twisted grin sending a chill down your spine.

"Luna, I hope you had a wonderful time in there?" Author says in a gleeful tone.

"Very much," you say calmly, the words slipping out almost effortlessly.

You watch Author's face for any hint of what they're thinking, but their expression remains inscrutable. You feel a cold sweat starting to break out on your forehead as you wonder what they have in store for you next.

"Well then, you may go out now and I think the room is gonna be use for another one!" Author claps their hands.

You stand up and exited the room, hiding the paper and planning the day and time when you will exact your revenge.

A/N: This is a Pt.2 to When it Rains, It Pours :))

You had told yourself you would stay away from the Lieutenant after your heat of moment kiss. But promises like that are meant to be broken when you two are the only two on base.

You found yourself busy in one of the smaller armories on base, getting your gear in order. You began with cleaning the scope on your rifle, trying to focus on the task at hand. But your mind kept drifting to the other night.

You were lost in thought when the door to the armory buzzed loudly and opened, and Simon walked in. You could feel your heart rate increase at the sight of him, but you tried to maintain a cool facade.

"Sergeant." Simon nodded at you, going over to one of the shelves of equipment. The sound of the door buzzing to lock went off.

You looked up, and nodded back. "L.T." You both fell into an awkward silence, each of you avoiding eye contact. You could feel the tension between you growing with each passing moment.

You tried to busy yourself with your gear again, but you were acutely aware of Simon's presence in the room, and the tension between the two of you was palpable. You felt his eyes on you as you worked, and couldn't help stealing glances at him, watching as he moved his firearms to the table.

Finally, Simon broke the silence. "Look, Y/N, about the other night..." he trailed off, trying to find the words. You held your breath, waiting for him to continue, unsure of what he was going to say.

"I just wanted to say that I'm sorry if I crossed a line," he said, his voice low. "I know we have a professional relationship, and I shouldn't have kissed you like that."

You felt a pang of disappointment at his words. Was he really apologizing for the kiss? Did he regret it?

You cleared your throat. "It's okay, Simon," you said, trying to keep your voice steady. "I understand that we both got caught up in the moment."

There was another awkward silence, and you both went back to your respective tasks. But the air between you had only intensified, and it was almost unbearable.

Finally, you couldn't take it anymore. You put down your gear and turned to face Simon. "I'm not sorry it happened." you said, your voice barely above a whisper.

Simon turned to face you, and you could see the wanting in his eyes. "It's not a good idea, Y/N," he said, his voice gentle. "This would only complicate things."

"But we can't just ignore what happened," you replied, your voice growing stronger. "I know we have to be professional, but it's not fair to pretend like there's nothing happening here."

Simon looked at you for a long moment, his expression conflicted. "I know," he admitted, finally. "I can't stop thinking about you." You felt your heart skip a beat at his words, and you took a step closer to him.

Simon's eyes met yours, and you saw clearly the desire burning in them. He leaned in closer to you, and you met him half way, now only inches away from his face. "Can't we just give in, Si." Your hands rested on the sides of his balaclava. He let you push it up to right above his mouth and closed the distance between you, his lips meeting yours in a heated kiss.

The tension that had been building between you finally broke, and you both gave into the passion that had been simmering beneath the surface. As your lips moved against his, Simon's hands found them on your waist pulling you closer into him.

The kiss was intense and electric, and you could feel the heat building between you. It was as if there was no one else in the world but the two of you. You moved your hands up to Simon's biceps, feeling the hard muscles beneath his t-shirt. You broke the kiss, gasping for breath. "I want you." you said, your voice filled with desire.

Simon looked at you, his eyes dark with lust. "Are you sure?" he asked, his voice low.

"Yes, fuck." you replied without hesitation, and Simon's lips crashed back onto yours with even more intensity.

The two of you were lost in each other, the passion between you only growing stronger with each passing moment. You could feel Simon's hands moving over your body, exploring every inch of you as if he couldn't get enough. You responded eagerly, your own hands moving over his chest and back, failing to ever get enough of him.

He began to trail kisses down your neck and onto your exposed collarbone. You let yourself melt under his touch. One of Simon's hands moved lower, slipping under your shirt and tracing the contours of your back. You arched into his touch, craving more. He broke away from your neck, his gaze locking onto yours before pushing the shirt up revealing your bra, Simon's breath hitched. He traced his fingers over the curve of your breast before pushing the barrier aside, eliciting a gasp from your lips.

He leaned in, taking one nipple into his mouth and sucking gently. The sensation was so intense that you couldn't help but arch your back, pressing yourself closer.

Simon's other hand moved to the other breast, his fingers playing with the nipple as he continued to suck on the first. Your mind was overwhelmed with pleasure, every nerve in your body firing at once. You moaned his name, your hands gripping onto his shoulders tightly. Simon pulled away from your breast, a devilish smirk on his lips.

"Your so good to me." he whispered before trailing kisses down your stomach, his hands sliding down to your hips. You moved back against the cool wall behind you.

He hooked his fingers into the waistband of your pants, pulling them down along with your underwear in one swift motion. You were completely exposed to him now, your body trembling with anticipation.

Simon's hands moved up your thighs, pushing them apart as he leaned in closer, his tongue flicking over your clit. You cried out in pleasure, your hands reaching down to grip onto his hair tightly.

Simon continued to pleasure you with his tongue, his fingers slipping inside of you. The sensation was too much, and you felt yourself building towards a release. "Simon, fuck." you gasped out, but he didn't stop. Instead, he kept his ungodly pace, and you felt yourself shatter into a million pieces, your body convulsing with pleasure.

As you came down from your high, Simon crawled back up to you, his lips finding yours once again. You could taste yourself on his lips, but you didn't care. All you wanted was him. You played at his belt frustrated when it wouldn't come off quick enough. He chuckled doing it for you in one swift motion and dropping his jeans down.

Simon pressed his body against yours, his hard length rubbing against your thigh. You could feel how much he wanted you, and it only fueled your own desire. You wrapped your legs around his waist, pulling him closer to you as he positioned himself at your entrance. Simon looked into your eyes, asking for permission one more time with a nod of his head.

You nodded back, and he slowly entered you, filling you up completely. You cried out in pleasure, feeling every inch of him inside of you. Simon began to move, his hips rocking against yours as you both sought release. The sounds of your moans and his grunts filled the air, as he held you up against the wall, his face finding a place in the valley of your neck.

The pleasure was overwhelming, and you felt yourself getting closer and closer to the edge once again. You dug your nails into his back, urging him on. Simon's pace quickened, his thrusts becoming deeper.

You felt yourself falling on the brink of another orgasm, your legs shaking with the intensity of the pleasure. And then, with a final, deep thrust, Simon pushed you over the edge once again. You cried out his name as you came, your body convulsing around him.

Simon followed shortly after, his own release washing over him. The two of you were left breathless, panting and spent against the wall. Simon held you close, his arms wrapped tightly around you as you both came down from the high of your passion.

You stayed like that for a few moments, just holding each other, before Simon leaned back and looked back and met your eyes. You had wished in that moment you could see his face bare, but the barrier still stood and you respected Simon far too much to force anything on him.

His lips met yours again, gently this time and tender against yours, not yet pulling out. He pulled back and rested his forehead against yours, his breath warm against your skin. "We should probably get dressed," he said, a hint of reluctance in his voice.

You nodded, smiling softly. You knew the moment had to end at some point, but didn't want it to be so soon.

Who knew something so wrong could feel so right.

you know how we say "he would not fucking say that" about fanfiction sometimes? your sokka is soo different than his canon counterpart but i always think you got his core personality so well. i'm like ohhh he would do that yeah.

could i ask you about other characters? we know katara's at home (god i recently reread the first chapters and her anger is so heart wrenching. she just loves her brother so much i hope they get to reunite in the flesh). aang is still in the ice i suppose. i hope katara's anger at the fire nation for taking one of her loved ones again breaks him free so he can give our girl a bison ride to caldera to see her brother. hope this doesn't come across as rude or telling u what to do but i think it would be hilarious to read toph in this setting. though i don't think they'd have time to be friends in this story. still i'd like her to give zuko a hard earthbending style slap (oh i know i'm gonna regret lashing at zuko i know... but for now he's a lil bitch). yue is alive, hopefully? so... not gonna lie i hope we get to see one or two people falling for our sokka so zuko can be more jealous lmao i need zuko to realize that sokka's a cute magnet for cute people (now i'm not suggesting cheating. that's awful haha... unless 👀👀)

But LMAO yeah, Zuko is very audacious in this fic. He has a very inflated idea of what’s “right” and “wrong” and for good reason! But it seriously does not mesh with Sokka’s.

Lol I’m glad you like my Sokka interpretation! <3 Part of why it works in Hearts on the Mend is due to it being a non-canon universe. Sokka is older, he’s wiser, he can keep his mouth shut a little easier, but he’s prolly at least 20% more petty than his canon counterpart. He’s mastered passive-aggressive sibling slights and he’s turning that knowledge on Zuko, all guns blazing. - That’s basically why I write him like I do. I find it easier than sassy child Sokka. I’m personally not as good as he is with snappy comebacks, but I can write petty well enough.

Regarding other characters… (spoilers hidden for those who want to not see them)

Katara will indeed see Sokka again in this fic! You can bet Zuko doesn’t get away from her wrath forever. ;)

Aang will also appear in this fic at some point! :3c any more spoilers with him would be telling, tho…

Toph… I haven’t considered in *this* fic, I’ll be honest. She may appear in the sequel fic I plan to write (yes, I already have plans to write more for these characters in this particular setting) but she’s tabled for now.

And does Sokka get more love interests??? Will cheating be involved?!?!? Who can say… no, lol, actually this fic won’t have Sokka cheat on Zuko. He’s not going to put his tribe into jeopardy for his own libido or comfort. But he might have some longing later…!

What if middle class anton rayne parents decided to leave him because of the constant fighting and young anton rayne become homeless for two years but he hide that on his best friend Pet'r and his mentor and somewhat father figure Deivid Wisci and when he turn into a legal adult he decided to spill his secret to his best friend and somewhat father figure because of the guilt he felt for telling lies for two years. First Pet'r felt betrayed and hurt on how could he keep a secret on but later understand it. But Wisci, oh the poor man. The moment he tells him. There are sadness and anger in his eyes. And Anton found himself to be hugged by his mentor and begun to tell him he felt sadness for not knowing sooner so he can help Anton and anger for Anton's former family to leave him. And there he spilled like a dam bursting with water. He return the embrace and begun to cry on his mentor's shoulders, asking him why his family decided to leave him? Did his former mother and father ever gaze at him with disappointment because he was another mouth to feed? He's just a teenager who was force to grow up so fast. Did they both ever regretted giving him life on this world? But Wisci just answer him. From this moment he will never be alone on his trials of life. A few months later Deivid Wisci officially adopted Anton rayne as his son. The lore still follows. Anton meet monica, surviving the civil war. Have Franc and Deana as his son and daughter except the two of them got an grandfather and grandmother and have run for president of Sordland. The only thing that become different aside Anton being Wisci son is he retired earlier than excepted timeline. Because if people find out Anton Rayne is a son to Deivid Wisci who is the foreign diplomat for Sordland they can accuse Rayne of nepotism and abuse of power. So basically this is an crack what if scenario where Deivid Wisci adopt Anton Rayne. Yeah i need to stop reading angst, comfort and found family trope on the fanfictions i read. ANON YOU'RE GONNA MAKE ME CRYYYYY what a fun idea, but god, oh so devastating. i mean, deivid's already such a mentor figure for anton, and we know how proud he feels of him and of how far he's come, so i can totally see this alternate universe scenario happening.

and deivid would be suchhhh a great dad (and how sweet, since i'm pretty sure he mentions he never had children in the game), and another sweet coincidence would be that both deivid AND his father have adopted a child, since edith is technically deivid's adoptive sister! (so anton and edith would be like, aunt-nephew? wild lmao). also AOUHGHG DEIVID WITH FRANC AND DEANA CUTEEEEEEE.

it would be sad not having deivid as a member of the cabinet, but still, very very sweet AU, i love it.

Daddy doesn't know much about it- said Gray, trying to keep himself from laughing. He couldn't laugh, he knew it would offend his little angel. Their son hated when someone made fun of him . After all, he was already a big boy, and everyone knows that such must be taken seriously. - So maybe Mommy knows? I will go and ask her,- said the little boy, putting down Christmas decorations . Speaking of mom, he had recently noticed his mother's strange behavior. She had been getting tired very easily lately, she often took naps. He also noticed that she spent an enormous amount of time sewing ,mostly clothing. Well.. he was aware of his mom's hobby, but usually it was limited to sewing plushies, sometimes socks or fixing their clothes. - You know, I don't think mommy knows more than me - said Gray after hanging the last Christmas-ball. - Besides, you know that mommy is sleeping now, right? She hasn't been feeling well lately, so she mustn't be disturbed. Something was off, even Daddy acts differently- thought little Fullbuster Now, that got the boy worried. - Is something wrong with Mommy? - asked slowly Greige He loved Mommy and Daddy most in the world and the very thought of them suffering hurt him deeply. "No, I won't start crying…Boys my age don't do that..." He had often been told that he should stop being such a crybaby (mostly by Yajeh or Nasha . Shutora would never. She was always trying her best to cheer him up,while reminding her twin and little Dragneel that if they won't stop with this stupid teasing, she would make sure both of them would regret it later). Unfortunately Greige could not help it. Whenever someone was hurt or something went wrong, he would usually cry. Turns out he inherited his mom's sensitivity... "Mommy…..something was definitely wrong with her.." The thought of something happening to his dear Mom filled him with great terror once again. He started shaking What if she's ill, or even worse..she's gonna….. "No , no , that's not possible..." - he shook his little head full of dark , curly hair. - I'm overreacting, just like Yajeh told me - No, no.. don't worry, Greige, Mommy's fine, it's nothing serious,"-Gray said quickly, trying his best to calm his son down, giving him a hug and then kissing him on forehead He knew exactly what was going on with his beloved, in fact, when an excited Juvia came back home one evening and informed him of the pregnancy, he was overjoyed. Soon he will be holding his son or daughter in his arms. Then it hit him. The baby might turn out to be a girl, and Gray had no idea how to take care of girls...Dear God….Ok ,ok.. he still has plenty of time to learn. He can always ask Gajeel about it..yes Gajeel or Alzack...even Elfman ( he would never ask Natsu, even if he's life depended on it, that would be too humiliating for him). Wait...it wasn't his top priority right now. After all, he needs to inform his son about the news first. Neither of them was quite sure how to do it. They remembered very well the situation from a few months ago when the Redfox twins got into an argument. Horrified, Greige stated that being an only child is not that bad, since having siblings meant constant war. Although being honest , Greige never

directly told them that he hates the idea of having a sibling . Considering how much time he spent with Nasha and Elfman and Ever's daughter Ember, or year-old Reiki Fernandes, it would seem that he's perfect for the big brother role. Besides, they can't hide it forever, sooner or later he would notice Juvia's belly. However, the biggest concern for Fullbuster was the fact that such news could lead to a longer conversation, which again could lead to uncomfortable questions that Gray was not ready to answer. He is not going to tell his son about the birds and the bees. No, no, hell no… None of them are ready for this! "Come on Gray, what's wrong with you, you just have to tell him. You've been in worse situations….after all, you've fought with all sorts of criminals, weirdos and monsters ,compared to what you've been through, it's nothing''- thought the ice mage But how to start such a conversation? How about …. -Hey Greige, have you written a letter to Santa yet? "Yes, just ask him what he wants for Christmas and make a few innocent suggestions." -Oh no i didn't, thank you for reminding me Dad. - And tell Daddy, what would you like to ask Santa for? The boy was silent for a moment, most likely to think about the answer, but after a while he called out in a loud voice. -I'D LIKE TO ASK HIM FOR PEACE IN THE WORLD AND FOR EVERY POOR PERSON TO GET A BETTER LIFE AND FOR EVERYONE TO BE HAPPY!..... It would also be nice to get a new plushie……but it's not as important. Do you think Santa can do that?-he asked hopefully Gray stood there for a moment, stunned. His baby was truly an angel...wishing happiness upon the entire world, it nearly made him tear up…. but no... he needed to explain to his son that he should wish for something more....... attainable. -Ooh... really..that's....very nice of you, but...I think that such a wish...yym...takes a bit of time and Santa w-won't be able to do it…., why don't you ask him for….. for example a toy like a teddy bear, figurines....or new books or something else...I don't know.......sibling?... Greige looked at him, like he had just proposed to him to take a walk on the rooftop. Where did that come from? What is dad talking about? S-sibling...?? -Sibling? You mean like a little brother or sister? A baby?- asked the little boy loudly. -Yes, that's exactly what I meant, but well you'll need to wait for a while, because it takes time for a baby to….be ready.- mumbled out Gray - So that's not really a Christmas present- stated boy still visibly shocked -...Well y-yes , but... -But didn't you say mommy has been feeling unwell lately?...If we had a baby, wouldn't it be tiring for her?....Besides, do you think we need a new baby? - asked seriously Greige Why would they need a baby? They were living happily in this house , just three of them. It's not like he dislikes babies , they're cute and all…..but it's just simply weird.. -Well... I wouldn't say it's necessary , but it would be nice to have one at home.. don't you think?....- asked his dad Maybe? -And don't worry about mommy, I am sure that she will be so happy with the new baby , it will make her feel better.- stated Gray , this time with a smile -Hello my darlings- Juvia's voice said suddenly They both turned their heads toward the bedroom's door, finding Juvia's tired but smiling face there. Greige quickly got up and ran toward his mother. -Mommy, are you feeling better? Do you need anything?- said the little boy, hugging her legs. Juvia kissed her son's cheek. -Hi sweetheart, Mommy is fine- she answered while taking a seat next to her precious Gray, giving him a quick kiss on the lips. -Did I hear you talking about babies?- Juvia asked, pretending to be surprised, while giving Gray a tiny smirk. - Daddy said it would be nice to have a baby and that it would make you feel better... - he began. - I don't think a baby is necessary, because it would be a little strange that there will be more of us in the house, but if you really wish for one ,then that's fine with me. -Really? Mommy's glad to hear that.-

Gray gave her the same smile, but just when he thought everything had been taken care of, there came the soft voice of his baby boy. - Mommy....Daddy...but you won't love the baby more than me, will you? - asked Greige, with his head lowered and tears in his dark eyes. Both Gray and Juvia stood there very surprised, neither of them had even thought of such a scenario. -Greige, what makes you think that?- asked older Fullbuster. -Sunshine, no...- Juvia hugged her son quickly- You mustn't think like that, we would never stop loving you. Remember darling, parents love all their children equally. - You know, its true that we'll have to spend a lot of time taking care of your brother or sister, but you have to remember that they won't be able to do anything on their own. You were like that when you were born too.- said Gray - I'm sorry. I won't do that again- said Greige seriously. -Do you think I offended the baby? TVXQ Concert Circle - #with In Jakarta

“Definitely an unforgettable concert experience. The dazzling stage is just too much, the concert literally climb up into THE BEST concert i have ever been to. Everyone alive should at least attend one of their concert, and you’ll have no regrets left.” - me

“The energy, the performances, the stage, the visual, the lightnings, are just beyond words. Despite the small venue, TVXQ brings out their very best act like it was in stadium/dome. Their professionalism is what everyone should look up to.” - me

HOLY SHIT AFTER SO MANY YEARS THEY FINALLY CAME AND HELL YEAH THEY CLIMBED UP INTO THE BEST CONCERT I'VE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE.

THE STAGE, THE ENERGY, THE PERFORMANCE, THE SOUND, THE LIGHTNINGS, THE VISUAL, HOLY SHIT THAT WAS THE VERY BEST.

They are all very true. Sounds a little bit exaggerating, but THAT IS THE TEA yeorobeun. ok sorry, pardon me.

So am gonna tell you guys about this amazing experience. i can actually say that my literacy is not that good especially in english but since i want to improve my english skill, here i am trying. So....

At first i kinda worried if TVXQ gonna cancelled the concert again like in the Philippine because the venue was small and only 1 section was sold out but the day is finally came!!!! ALHAMDULILLAH.

When i entered the venue, i was kinda sad because there were section that was not packed enough and had some space but what's on my mind that day was "i'm going to have fun, i'm going to see them in real life, i'm going to sing my heart out!" and turned out all the crowd think the same as mine? lmao because the energy we poured during every song was so loud maybe because there's a lot of people who has been waiting for 16 years also!! If i compared it to my Eyes On You experience, it's like, when i'm doing fanchant because of the sound and my own voice, i can't hear clearly if the fanchant was loud or not but in this concert, holy shit, i heard the fanchant so loudly!!!!!

I'm glad that everyone who attended the concert have memorable experience to bring back home and as encouragement to face the real life that's gonna happen in the next day (lmao it's for me).

As for the concert, i never expect that the setlist has that flow so the songs feel connected to each other somehow. It was also thanks to the VCR that contained of hotness, handsomeness, and funny videos.

Bounce, Something, and Top of The World became the opening act and seems like to hold a magician concept! And it was so much fun lmao i can honestly say that i don't really like Bounce before but when it was sung at the concert heeeeeeol it's so good!!

After that, Yunho and Changmin introduced themselves and i love the way they speak Bahasa lmao. Yunho was like "Sudah lama tidak bertemu. Apa kabar semuanya!!!" and Changmin was like "Saya kangen kalian semua" and did a yes pose (lmao he is so cute) as we answered yes though it's not a question, it's a statement lol.

After that was Truth and then Love Line, my favorites of their own separate albums ❤ and then Tonight. In my honest opinion, Tonight is a hard song to sing because it is full of high notes and truthfully the 5 were singing it with so much effort and then now it's only 2 who is singing it, my heart is weeping. I really appreciate the hard work that Yunho and Changmin put on singing this song, and it was not disappointing at all, it was beautiful. VERY BEAUTIFUL. I CAN'T. I love you guys, truly. Thank you for singing this song.

Now was the time for Yunho solo. He sang his newest single Follow, although i prefer City Lights he he The Chance of Love came after, holy shit, it was the remix version that they sing in MBC Gayo. Changmin's high note in "i will take you higher~~ i will take you HIGHEEEEEEER" is just too good, i am in awe. Sooner than Later came next. It was not expected that Sooner than Later would also became a performance full of hotness, though still can't beat Before U Go which was came after, but still.

AND THEN THE PEAK OF HOTNESS CAME (yes, it’s Before U Go!). MY HEART. OK THIS IS MADNESS MY HEART WAS LIKE "OMG OMG OMG ALLAHU AKBAR" because it was that deadly ass performance. You know what i mean if you know what kind of performance Before U Go is. Thank you again Yunho and Changmin that was brilliant. My life is now complete.

So, here am gonna spill my Before U Go fancam that was intended to be my private belongings but, if i don’t do this you guys will not get what i mean TT

The next was the ballad stage, TVXQ sang Lazybones and Mideoyo. When they started singing Lazybones, all the white lights turned on them and at that exact moment, me and everyone around me be like "MALAIKAT" which means "ANGEL" HAHAHA.

And finally, Changmin's solo Beautiful Stranger. Have been waiting for this because the song is just beautiful itself. My most favorite of Changmin's solo and the 2nd is In a Different Life. Changmin's kind of solo is really put me to lay back for awhile.

After that is Vertigo and Mirotic. MIROTIC IS THAT PERFORMANCE WHEN I LITERALLY PUT MY LUNGS OUT TO DO THE FANCHANT. IT WAS CRAZY. MIROTIC WAS CRAZY.

Hug and Balloons came next! Hug was kinda beat up not like the original one. Looking at Changmin and Yunho singing this song really reminisce the old one and they both look very different (lmao ofcourse!). Balloons was so fun!! We jumped a lot and literally shout so loudly "JIIINAGABORIIII" lol anyway they showed up with a boyfriend look and huhu they're so handsome TT after that is Dream, still with the boyfriend look.

In the bridge of Balloons, Changmin was like pointed to our side and Yunho was like saying something in korean and told us to sing "La~ La La La La~" and then after our turn, Changmin was like "Kiri~" means it's the left side turn to sing and then he said "Semuaa" which means "All" and then Yunho followed along saying "Semua semua semua!!" And then he said "Sekali lagi!! (Once more!)" Lol why are they so cute 😭

After the kind of cute, fun and lay back jumping stage, it’s suddenly turned into MAXIMUM-KYHD-RISING SUN stage. IF MIROTIC WAS CRAZY THAN THIS PART OF THE CONCERT WAS CRAZIER!!!! IT IS THAT CLIMAX HOLY SHITTTT and what made me upset was, in the middle of Keep Your Head Down,  my phone's storage was suddenly full FAAAAAAAAAKKKKK fortunately my external storage was still empty, thankfully i have still got the full footage of Maximum and Rising Sun and half of footage of Keep Your Head Down. Thank God! but still TT

After that was Morning Sun, Yunho and Changmin threw balls to the audience. And waw Changmin's throw was really far i'm impressed.

The last but not least, Circle. The song that really fits for an ending of a concert when i first listened to it. The melody, the rhythm, the tunes, all of them, i love it. HUHU and finally i can hear it live TT

At the ending ment, it felt sentimental as in Yunho and Changmin actually keep repeating the “16 years” and keep saying thank you as if they were kind of regret to hold their first concert here just now, while they should’ve hold concert here sooner, like YES YOU SHOULD HAVE COME SOONER! nonetheless, the important thing is they held their solo concert here finally, it’s always better to be late than never. So, THANK YOU VERY MUCH for including Indonesia in your tour!!!! and i won’t forget your promise to come back here again and will definitely come to watch you guys again!

I felt very satisfied after the concert, despite the waiting-outside-the-venue thing that got your ass burned and skin got tanned (lol), the concert was that magical i came home weeping lol. I know that TVXQ consists of main vocal of their separate trainee groups but i really think that the recording tape of CD or DVD did them injustice! Their vocals are SO much better than the CD! While other groups sound the same as the CD, TVXQ are much greater. I think the CDs can't contain the greatness of TVXQ's voices.

It's been more than a month and i still can't get over the concert, instead, i love them more than ever! To think that i'd jump to this blackhole again lol....

"i feel like being bitter and listing off all the things that the 90s show changed about the original stories" as a relative newcomer to moomin-related stuff, i'm curious... what *did* the 90s show change??

*rubs hands because I love being insufferable*  

(Minor disclaimer that this is mostly done in good nature. I understand almost every show that is adapted from existing content is gonna change stuff to suit their story-telling needs. But I am annoyed that some who praise the 90s anime think the new series is bad simply for doing things differently when that show, and nearly every one prior to it, has also put their own spin on things.)

There are 24 episodes of Tanoshii Moomin Ikka (plus a movie) based on the books by Tove Jansson, and I think 11 based on the comic strips she wrote. It would take a long time to cover every single detail in every single episode, so I am mainly going to discuss those that have changes I find more significant, disappointing, personally distressing, or just plain baffling.

(A second disclaimer: I have not read any entire comic stories past the point where Tove stopped working on them. There are some episodes based on strips created exclusively by her brother Lars, The Vampire and Artists in Moominvalley being two examples. I will be skipping those, as well as Bouken Nikki episodes, as I have yet to thoroughly watch each one on account of so few being based on Tove’s work and the headaches they induce lmao. Nitpicks from fans who have read Lars’ strips in full are welcome.)

Now without further ado, let the fussing begin~

01 Spring in Moominvalley: This follows the basic storyline from the first two chapters of Finn Family, but with some notable changes. Snufkin at this point woke up from hibernation along with the rest of the family, Little My had yet to be introduced, and Snork - a child like the rest of the main cast - lived with his sister and the rest of the kids in the Moominhouse. The entire subplot of him being an inventor is merely an invention of the anime.

Moomintroll, in the book, spends a lot more time in transformed body. As he believes his friends are playing a new game when they fail to recognize him, he makes up a story about being “The King of California”. He repeatedly pretends to insult Moomin (himself), and in a touching display of devotion his own friends beat him up to defend his honour.

02 The Magic Hat: Continuing on with a scene based on the later half of chapter 2, we see Moomin rescue Snorkmaiden from the Ant Lion, and along with Snufkin, decide to trap him in the magical hat. In the original story however, Moomin and Snork trap the him. This was rather unprovoked, though Moomin cites a moment from a previous book (read all about it in The Moomins and the Great Flood!) where the Ant Lion allegedly kicked sand in Mamma’s eyes. The gang then takes the hat back inside for more “experiments”, and after making a mess, the adults decide it best to dispose of the hat in the river.

Much like in the story, the hat is soon recovered by Moomin and Snufkin, though a chapter where they hide it in a cave and and end up frightening the Muskrat (who uses it as a shelf for his dentures) is absent. It then continues to the scene where Moominhouse is briefly overgrown with plants. Aside from this happening sooner than it did in the book, and the premature appearance of the Hobgoblin, and the missing Mameluke hunt, and the part where all the children play in the jungle, I think it’s pretty true to that chapter!

03 Discovery of a Wrecked Ship:  First off, I wanna say I’m mostly including this episode on my list just to make it clear that Snufkin’s random sexist comments towards Snorkmaiden and Little My are missing from the book. There is a chapter where him and Moomin go ambling up some rocks, but “the girls” are thankfully absent from this scene.

So then they discover an abandoned boat and the rest of the episode is padded with scenes where they repair it. A charming spectacle, I’m sure, but also absent from the book as the boat they find is already in pristine condition. Shame that Snufkin never got to share his idea for the ship’s name, (it was Lurking Wolf aha ha ha) but that might be for the best.

07 The Suitcase: As seen in episode 06, Thingumy and Bob arrived in Moominvalley. They bring with them stolen goods and and the mother of Grimace, who seeks to recover said goods. Snufkin, once again letting everyone down, decides that a gentle female should speak to them about the contents of their suitcase and soon Snorkmaiden is assigned to the task. Instead the book features a trial sequence, which really helps hammer in the metaphor. Everyone takes part and Sniff acts as prosecutor of behalf of the Groke, who appears and is willing to trade the treasure in exchange for the magical top hat (NOT a pretty scallop).

08 The Hobgoblin’s Magic: Moomin hears that his wondrous wooden woman has washed up on the shores of Moominvalley. But when he rushes to the beach, he finds nothing but sand and disappointment waiting for him. This sends him spiraling into a brief yet no less deep depression which is cured only when Thingumy and Bob share their contents of their secret suitcase. The novel was much more reasonable however. He was saddened by the loss of Snufkin who had skipped the valley for the first time, promising (as we all know) to return on the first day of Spring.

And then there is a fabulous summer party thrown by the family after the recovery of Moominmamma’s handbag. This part is true to the story, at the very least. But the party in the book is much more fantastical, with dancing, music (from America of all places), punch served in darling sea shells, and everyone - right down to the tiniest forest critter - is invited, and gets to make a wish when the magic man arrives. 

09 An Invisible Friend / 10 The Invisible Child: I wouldn’t say that these episodes, featuring the famous character from Tales of Moominvalley, have any life-ruining changes from the original story. But since no episode is complete without a bit of drama, or a pointless cameo from Snufkin, a scene where Stinky traps Ninny with the intention of having her assist in his robberies has been written in. And Little My’s comment regarding the aunt in the English dub, where she states “I hope you told her she hurt Ninny’s feelings!” seems uncharacteristically gentle in comparison to her asking if Too-Ticky “bashed her head in”.

13 The Last Dragon on Earth: As mentioned in the entry above, some episodes will include new subplots or elements for the sake of drama and action. This episode is another example of that, but otherwise it has only minor tweaks. Snufkin states that “the cards” have told him he should leave Moominvalley early if he catches x number of such-and-such a fish, but that storyline is exclusive to this show.

14 Our Neighbor is a Touch Teacher: This episode is based on snippets of the comic strip “Moominmamma’s Maid”, but scraps the storyline containing the titular character from the strip, which is nearly all of it. Instead, it is entirely focused on the Moomin’s new neighbor, Mrs Fillyjonk, a strict and uptight mother of three.

After the Moomin’s welcome party leaves Mrs Fillyjonk fearing for her life, she forbids her children from playing with the Moomin brood. They sneak away anyway. A bunch of death defying stunts happen, courtesy of Stinky. Mrs Fillyjonk plans to leave the valley, but the kids have none of that. This is almost an original story, save for the existence of a party.

16 A Close Encounter with Aliens: Once again we have an episode based on the comics. It follows the basic plotline of the Moomins caring for a stranded Martian child.  But a lot of wackiness was cut for time, including invisible Moomins pranking valley residents, a flying fire brigade, and Moomin shrinking down with Mamma, who later bites a Fillyjonk child. Time used for an inserted chase scene with Stinky (one of many across the tv series) feels could’ve been better spent on some of the fun stuff mentioned in my previous sentence.

17 A Change of Air: And yet another comic-based episode, this one taken from “Moomin and Family Life”, which happens to be my personal favourite comic so this analysis may sound bitterer than others. The episode cuts the beginning of the strip, where we see a lonely parent-less Moomin contemplate suicide before being reunited with his long lost Moominmamma and Moominpappa. The comic is a completely different entity from the books and adjustments must be made, so this decision is understandable. But the following choice? Less so.

The episode instead starts with Pappa complaining that nothing exciting ever happens, and I won’t remind him of the events from episode 16 because everyone brings that up. Stinky overhears plans of doing something to entertain him, and during the night makes a set of giant footprints leading to the sea. Whereas in the comic strip, the “giant” prints are innocently left by Snufkin who was wearing boot too big for he gotdamn feet. He nearly perishes for this grave mistake.

Strips where Moominmamma and Moominpappa hang out in a cave, Moomin sheds a few tears tears, and Snufkin offers some half hearted words of comfort provide a basis for following scenes in the episode. But antics with Moomin and friends trying to foil Aunt Jane, who angrily travelled to the Moominhouse after being pranked by Pappa, are sadly missing. 

24 Hurry Up Snufkin: The part where Snufkin meets and later names the forest creature Teetywoo, is based on the short story “The Spring Tune”. There are many potential gripes one can have about such a brief scene.

A lot of the dialogue between the two characters reflects what is said in the short story, but what the episode sorely lacks are Snufkin’s feelings. Gone are his shouts and snaps, his grumpiness about being disturbed, his regret when he lashes out, his desperation to find Teetywoo again. His famous line “I’ll come when it suits me” is “cried violently”, making me wonder how it ever became an inspirational quote (oh wait I know). In favour of portraying Snufkin as cool and chill, the anime sometimes ends up making him look more like an emotionless bump on a log.

The plotline of Snufkin being late to return because he is trying to compose a new song has been cut, on account of either his lack of talent or lack of music budgeting.

25 The Lighthouse / 26 The Day the Lighthouse Lit Up: These episodes actually combine elements of two different stories: the comic strip “Moomin and the Sea”, and the similarly titled novel “Moominpappa at Sea”. Lacking most of the typical shenanigans from the strips, or bleak themes from the book, these episodes feel more like a slightly above-average family outing.

The episodes seems to lean more towards the comic, where Moominpappa takes on the job of lighthouse keeper as inspiration for his writing, and Moomin is terrorised by an equally frightened ghost. Too-Ticky unfortunately is missing from the episodes, alone with the scenes where she shares some spooky suggestions with the spectre, and where Snorkmaiden fakes her own drowning to help Moomin feel brave. 

Borrowing from the books, we meet both the former lighthouse keeper and a little boy named Toft, who apparently got very lost on his way to auditions for a “Moominvalley in November” episode. The episode scraps the element from the book of Moominpappa making the entire family miserable because he has some deluded fantasy about protecting and providing for them on his own, as well as a heart wrenching subplot involving the Groke, which I will not spoil for those considering reading it. But know this: there will be tears. 

28 The Floating Theatre / 29 The Lost Children / 30 Midsummer: This three-parter is based on “Moominsummer Madness”, which is kind of an interesting book. Taking place smack dab in the middle of the series, we see it move away from the more lighthearted tones of the early stories, and begin the shift towards the less fantastical and more serious themes of the later books. But it isn’t quite there yet. And being written around the time Tove still worked on the comic series, some parts of the book would not seem out of place if drawn in her strips.

The most noticeably difference between the original story and anime episodes is the change of the cast. With the number of characters and subplots happening at once in the book, it was inevitable that some unlucky sod would get scrapped from the story - three sods in fact, by the names of Mymble, Misabel, and Whomper. Sniff is inserted into the story, and references to Mr Fillyjonk, the stage manager and Emma’s late husband, are removed. 

Snufkin and My’s subplot is changed and cut quite short, beginning with the element of the two not knowing each other. His assault on the park keeper seems to be done for the sake of rescuing the children more or less imprisoned in the park, but book Snufkin simply took joy in breaking the law. The episode lacks great scenes of him trying to take care of the 24 little children; doing things like making silly noises, threatening to drown himself, and exposing them to second hand smoke. 

With a small handful of characters missing, the plot of the play Moominpappa writes greatly differs from the book. And say goodbye to the ending chapter, where the reunited Moomin family flees the police and gets chased all the way back to Moominvalley. 

45 Moomin Builds a House: This episode is based on the comic of the same title. Although it cuts the story quite short, what is left in is relatively close to the original. Except for the insertion of Snufkin, but I am not offended because that adorable laugh made his appearance worthwhile.

59, 63, 68 Adventures of Moominpappa: And here we get to the episodes based on “The Exploits of Moominpappa”. The first few changes I’d like to point out are a little less notable. As Mrs Fillyjonk was already more established in the show, the Hemulen aunt becomes a Fillyjonk. Edward is a silent character, the Nibling child that Pappa and co look after is absent, and everyone gets real ugly colour palettes. 

Next, as you may know, the original books don’t really follow a solid timeline and canon changes in between stories. So in an attempt to make more sense, the young Mymble that Moomin meets is Little My’s mother, rather than her sister. But strangely, Moominpappa’s other friends are no longer the parents of Sniff and Snufkin. Why those two were still so enraptured by listening to his story is unclear.

Comet in Moominland: Finishing off the list is a movie based on the story of the same name. Being the first in what is considered the “main” book series, there are bound to be differences in how characters are written. But there is no difference here more worth talking about than Snufkin.

As I’ve already mentioned before, he is portrayed in the anime as more relaxed. He is the older and most mature member of Moomin’s group of friends, and tends to be reserved in expressing his emotions. For the sake of presenting Snufkin as a responsible figure, he never teaches the gang his favourite game: rolling boulders down cliffs, an activity which almost results in multiple casualties. We never hear his story about disrespecting a police officer, and his subsequent prison break.

But Snufkin in the earlier books is very much a child like the rest of the main cast. He is playful and talkative, being described as bringing “gaiety” to their adventure, and is always thrilling his friends with epic tales from his travels. He is not shy about expressing himself, he is shown to have some sadness about having no parents and cries his wee heart out upon sees the dried up ocean.

Other changes may seem more innocuous by comparison, snipping a party scene and river raft ride, and including Little My. But with the lack of a noticeable personality for a key character, and some of the action scenes, much of the movie just feels like a boring hike home.

In short, yeah. As you can see I’m pretty passionate on this subject, especially when it comes to Snufkin’s characterisation. Anyone who wishes to discourse Moomins with me is welcome.

Don’t come for me like that. I’m too irritable and you don’t want to test me, trust that. You can live however you want, nobody has to live with your regrets but you lol. Even though I’m slightly pissed with this message, I’m going to be nice and give you some advice that obviously no one has ever given you. Let me just let you in on a little something, okay. Maturity is a state of mind. It’s not an age. It’s not how many things you’ve been through. Maturity is learning lessons from situations and applying the knowledge to the present. Maturity is being able to handle situations easily due to clear thought processes and being in tune with your inner self and heart. People know right from wrong; that’s not the issue. The issue is people don’t think about the repercussions of their actions, if it will hurt anyone, including them. They just act irrationally and never think anything through, as if they don’t have a conscience. Maturity is the opposite of that. It’s always doing what’s right, it’s knowing what’s right. That has absolutely nothing to do with adulthood. Sure, being mature helps you balance adulthood well. Becoming a mature person, challenging your self and your own thinking will do nothing but benefit you and your life. Your relationships will ultimately become better with others. People will look up to you and trust you more. You will be more happier and not feel like you’re carrying emotional baggage. Things in life become more clear. The path between your teenage years and adulthood becomes easier for you to transition through. Being reckless and not caring about how you act at all, that just leaves you with more baggage and holds you back more than you realize. You might feel like you don’t care now, but when you’re older and you have clearer realizations, you will. So, would you rather be better or possibly have to deal with that later in life? Also, teenage years and early adulthood years go really fast. A lot of people think the time goes slow and that you have forever to figure shit out. That’s the biggest lie I’ve ever saw people tell just to give teenagers an ease of mind. I’m not going to lie to you. It flies so damn fast. You won’t have a huge period of time to be better, to do things that will benefit for your future. The sooner, the better. Another thing it seems you don’t understand is that happiness in life and our futures is not something we spend our time thinking about when we’re young. We dream of getting married and having kids, sure. We think about what we’re going to spend the rest of our lives doing and get our careers going, but we do not think about what it takes to attain what we want in the future. It doesn’t happen overnight, it takes change and building ourselves up over time as people before we’re able to offer our best selves to someone. If you plan on having that before you’re 30, you might want to think about what kind of person you are now and what you have to offer someone. As you get older, standards get higher and people will expect more from you as a partner, so putting off maturing won’t really help you in your love life. The important things in life are family, having someone to come home to. That is what makes the stressful parts of life unwind. A lot of youth grow up not understanding that and I know it’s because of the situations their parents have put them in. They have parents that do not teach them this, because they make irrational choices too. They aren’t good role models; sometimes you outgrow you own parents, I know I sure as hell did. Just because they didn’t show me how life was meant to be lived and how love was supposed to impact it, doesn’t mean I wasn’t smart or curious enough to figure it out on my own. That’s why I’m glad I am the way I am, so that I can pass that knowledge on to my child. I will not settle until I find someone that is the absolute best for me. I want my child to learn what love should look like. You never know what could happen in your life that may need your maturity to rise. Please change your mindset, because that will ruin you. You can still like things young people like. Take me for example: before I got pregnant, I drank so much. I partied downtown at the bar every weekend and I’ve always been a outgoing, social butterfly. I was still mature. However, I will say that even though that life was fun, it won’t make me feel complete and satisfied every night. It won’t bring me love or genuine happiness. I can have fun so many other ways in life other than numbing myself temporarily. Numbing yourself is not living. I was practically an alcoholic and even though I had fun temporarily when I drank, that’s not what is most important in life. It’s okay to have a little fun sometimes, but don’t let it take over you. That is not how the happiest people spend their lives.
