N apparently an employee sent these people a list of our costs like how much It cost to produce n stuff n that’s rlly fucking bad like crisis type shit bc ofc we sell at a much higher prices and whatever like there’s a lot more to it that I don’t understand. Now my uncles saying u guys are always so negative and ppl are looking at us. Anyways I’m listening and talking to u it’s 3:31 pm rn. So back tl where I was. We went back to the conference room and they gave us giftssss Ik they’re like mini coffee cups. Omg bruh I can tell my moms backing out now😭 ok so I didn’t take pictures of them inside cus I wasn’t trynna open that shit. Oh yes and this typical Arabic cup to make coffee in. Cool souvenir or whatever. Ok I just got up it’s 3:41 rn I’ll finish typing In a bit. It’s the same thing following them around the fair. Then we finished the tour and got the gifts and then they took us to eat and resturaunt was sooooo pretty idk like the nature outside I felt like I was in the backyard of a rich Californian home idk and bro the food was soooooooo good and I drank Turkish tea again I loved the food. And once again no fucking wifi I always take screenshot to show u so we are and talked for like two hours and then we left and we went back to the factory and we left to the city again in the van and I slept the entire way and they woke me up and we were at a fucjing mall and I was mad as fuxk bc bro I was tired and I’m trynna get home to my man. And so we were there and like nothing was even open like it was rlly new. And I was bored as fuck but it was rlly pretty and then I’m so fr I took a picture of every cat I saw. And so we walked home and we stopped to get groceries and omg I forgot I to tell u at the mall we ate at a cafe. In the morning I took a picture of this place called mustafah u can look again n I thought it was silly bc everyone’s name here is mutsafah and we coincidentally ate there and it was sooooo good I ate a carénele tres leches it was so fucking good and I drank a coffee and they were in these cups that I loved they reminded me of u so much so I wanted them so bad so I went to buy them n they didn’t sell them so I got another ones that I think ull think are rlly cool they remind me of underthink logo. So they’re for our house. Then we walked home n we stopped be a grocery store for food and that’s when k got my Piña and then I stopped at this case place bc I’ve still been trynna get ur sparkly thing for ur cameraaaaa so I went and looked and asked for ur phone n they didn’t have any at that place but they had for mine but I just know they’ll have it at another one of those so don’t worry ur still getting one and I also got u this thing for ur charger u can put on it. I love you😄 n then got home n talked to u for like four hours I think even five

Saitama Day 1

ACTUAL DAY IS HERE!!! I was getting so excited since it was my first time being at an overseas live concert. Throughout the live I was really happy being surrounded by love live fans. For day 1, I was in the arena seats at the right corner of the center stage.  For day 2, I was in the B stands

To be honest, it was really a blur for both days. This is the set list for day 1  (courtesy of LL_wikia):

Right before the start of the live they played the on-vocal of Landing Action,Yeah!, which signaled the start of the live. They showed the animated PV of the Happy Party Train arriving in the arena, and an actual life-size train comes out and they hop off.

It was really emotional for me at this time, not only because it was the first live concert for me, but the PV of them speeding into the venue marks them going from 0 > 1, and going forward into 2L tour. When the music for Happy Party Train started right after the fireworks everyone was so hyped for the live. The main theme song of the live was really good as expected.

Moving on was Todokanai Hoshi da to Shitemo, it was a really hyped song. Although it was performed previously at 1L, there were many subtle differences in the performance. One very notable was the dab that Gu~RinPa! did during the start of verse 2 >< they talked about it during their radio show and I paid very close attention to it. ARISHA ACTUALLY DOING SOMETHING DORKLY LIKE THIS WAS REALLY REFRESHING!!!

During the MC and intro + call and response, I was really reallyyy surprise at the amount of people around me screaming and shouting ARISAAAAA. It was really reassuring to know and hear others who support her like you do (unlike how it was at 1L where there were only Aikyan and Shuka supporters ): )

Next was Shoujou Ijou. As expected the song was really like a love song. Most notable parts was the heart drawn by Anchan during the bridge AND ARISHA ENDING IT OFF WITH THAT MATURE HEAD TILT BACKWARDS AHHHHH.

What came next was the Summer songs! Most of us already expected it to happen. But the dances and costume were really amazing. Here are the notable parts: Hurricane Blossom: OMGOSH KINCHAN DOING THE INDIAN KINDA DANCE WAS SO CUTE. That part during chorus where they looked like they were swimming. AINYA’S RAP. THEY ARE HOLDING THE SAME KINGBLADE THAT I HAVE. EVERYONE GETTING WET FROM THE WATER GUNS ><. Overall its such a really nice song to start off with! On a side note, Rikyako almost got hit by the balls in the arena and she gave out a small scream hehe

Inferno Phoenix: YOU CAN’T IMAGINE WHAT I WAS FEELING WHEN THEY CAME UP, HURRICANE BLOSSOM ENDED BEHIND US, AND INFERNO PHOENIX STARTED ON THE CENTRE STAGE. I TURNED AROUND AND WAS LIKE WTF THOSE COSTUME OMG OMG OMG. I EVEN FORGOT TO POP ANY UOs FOR THIS COZ IT WAS SO GOOD. THE RED THE BELLY THE KUROSAWA SHIMAI BUMPING HEADS THE INDIAN COSTUME THE DANCE EVERYTHING WAS SO PERFECTTTTT

Unicorn Blizzard: JIMO AI! JIMO AI! JIMO AI! JIMO AI! JIMO AI!

Twilight Tiger: Oh no the EDM song. Despite my previous thoughts on this, the live performance was really good. The way Anchan started on the main stage and Suwawa started on center stage, really brings out the meaning of the song. They ran towards each other during the bridge but never reunited, until the end of the song. The way they shuffled during the EDM part of the song was really nice. Suwawa actually having an ikemen/serious/angst face was refreshing.

MC: hahaha Rikyako be savage as usual and teasing Kinchan by saying that her costume looks like a Tamago Sushi, and the pout by Kinchan LOL. And then Kinchan getting back at Rikayko by saying that she looked like codfish condiment LOL and saying that Aiai secretly said it when they saw her costume (and that really cute moment when Shuka comforted her) AND THEM TEASING AINYA EVEN THOUGH SHE WASNT INVOLVED!!!

Intermission: Yohane talking about god and Kanan and Mari carrying Ruby off for a sacrifice LOLOLOL

Mijuku Dreamer and Koi Aqua with Koi costumes were really good x.x nothing much to say about this since it came out during 1L.

MC: hehe Arisha got cucked and danced alone coz Rikyako bluffed her into doing that

DAYDREAM WARRIOR and THRILLING ONE WAY: THIS WAS SO GOOD, everyone was so cool during these two songs, the ikemen and cool faces, Arisha’s solo face on the cameraaaaa, That EDM breakdance thingy in Daydream warrior and THRILLING ONE was sooooo hyped that I broke so many UOs for them. I have no other words for these two.

Intermission: SWEET POTATO GHOSTTTTTTT

Subunit songs: No comments for day 1... 

Aozora jumping heart & Kimi Kokoro: I FINALLY HAD THE CHANCE TO LISTEN AND DO CALLS TO THIS IN PERSON OMGOSH. Those songs are the mark of Aqours and it was an honor to be in person.

Sky Journey: This is so good, it was really mature and the dance was so good, not to mention that Arisha’s solo was really strong in this song.

Encore:

PikaPIkka: Dancing along to this song was really fun and niceeee, not to mention Anchan’s taiyo drumming and Ainya’s folk singing and Uchicchi ><

ALLSTARS VIDEO: WHAT THE LIVING HELL?! Everyone was alright with Honoka and Chika talking in the video, and everyone thought that after Riko, the rest of Aqours was going to continue. BUT EVERYONE WENT NUTS WHEN RIKO PASSED IT ON TO ELI. Almost everyone i knew who went to the Live actually was tearing and crying during this video. The most unexpected curve ball they threw at us TT

Ending Speech: TT SOBS. Rikyako was so emotional during her ending, She said that she wanted to work hard, that everyone also has many things in their life like school and work. Knowing that fans who has school and work, that they work their hardest because they know that Aqour’s Live concert is in a few days, and working really hard so they can enjoy the live properly. This was what made her want to work hard and it really made her happy (and made all of us sad)

Taiyo o oikakero: TOKO TOKO, TOKI TOKI. Even though everyone said that they will break tons of UOs for this, I really enjoyed this song regardless without any UOs.

Yume Kata: T~T cry cry cry. Last song of the live for day 1 and i was really sad~ Nonetheless this was a really good song to end it off since everyone was singing along so much.

THAT PART AT THE BRIDGE WHERE THEY HUG ARISHA AND KINCHAN LEADING ARISHA TO THE TROLLEY OMGOSH IT’S SO MEANINGFUL. (on a side note, i expected to break 20 UOs for this, but i was so mesmerised by Arisha so much that I only broke 2 and enjoyed myself to the fullest by staring at her)

Koware yasuki is so crazily good with all the solo long notes and it was, in my opinion, the song that was so much more hyped than day 1. I really liked how the display screen behind them started to shatter bit by bit as the song went on.

Land Action YEAH!: YES YES YES YES. As soon as the music start as it riles up for the start, everyone went crazy over this. This was such an expected and emotional song for everyone, and everyone was singing along to it at the end that it felt like everyone’s feelings were connected as one with the characters and seiyuu and it also marked the end of the live... 

and with that as soon as they left this was shown on the roof of the dome:

which roughly translates to “Thank you very much for taking the ride” T~T SOBS

Happy 2018! I’m a little late this year... but let’s just forge on... >w>

I’ll call 2017 another transition year. Because this year, I finally, finally moved out of the Midwest, which I’ve lived in for the past 20+ years of my life. That happened more toward the end of the year though... so here’s what happened in between:

January | February | March | April As per usual, the first few months of the year were spent mainly in busy season at work (my March photo was a picture of a k-cup ffs). Although in February, there was a brief interlude to the Indy art museum’s garden. Pretty flowers make me happy... =u=

May | June | July Summer = Freedom = Travel Time! 8DD In the span of these three months, I ended up flying across the country, from Albany, NY to Atlanta, GA to Monterey, CA. So many good things to say about each place (especially about Watkins Glen State Park). Maybe one day, I’ll find the time to write about them some more. ^^;; OH. And I splurged on a new cameraaaaa~ ouo I got a Sony Alpha a7ii. It’s a mirrorless camera, so it’s much lighter than my Canon. Aiming to bring this one on future travels, while using the Canon on more local stuff.

August | September | October These months were spent in a kind of limbo. After going through my third busy season this year, I really wanted a change in my life. Mainly, I wanted to move the hell out of the Midwest. My goal? Seattle. Because I really loved it when I visited last year. I wasn’t sure the best way to approach this though. Long story short, I put in a request to transfer with my current company in May, but they told me that I probably wouldn’t hear back until “late fall”--whatever the hell that meant. So then I tried job hunting, which turned out more difficult than I thought. I was reminded how much I appreciated my university's career services... Also. What are interviewing skills? And why don’t I have them? OTL Anyway, after many tears of frustration, I finally heard back from my current company in October, telling me that they had an opening in the Portland, OR office. After some discussion with my parents and mentors, some inner reflection, and some research on Portland, it was decided. I would move to Portland.

November | December The time from actual acceptance of the transfer to the actual move was really short. So the rest of October was pretty hectic, with filling out transfer documents for my job, finding an apartment in Portland, and packing. Ohmygod packing. Then, in the first week of November, I loaded up what I could in my Honda and drove out to Portland. It was about a 33-hour a drive. My parents were kind enough to help with the move, so we made a roadtrip out of it, stopping overnight in several places, including Salt Lake City, UT. 

So now I live in Portland. :’D 

I’m mostly settled, but there are still a few loose ends to tie up. I mean, it’s only been a little over a month. And within that month, I’ve mostly been... working... haahaaaa... But I love the potential that Portland holds, and I’m excited to explore the city and the Pacific Northwest, in general. Camera in hand, of course. C:
