#I HATE THE UNFAIR TREATMENT OF LAURENCE

My little autistic brain is pissed about how aphmau can attack a whole ass lord is Skystead and it be fine because she Irene. It’s fine because she got possessed by Irene and since it was divine intervention(if you could even call it that) it’s all good. Everything that aphmau does is fine because she’s Irene and is a god.

But Laurence is seen as an absolute villain for losing control and commuting mass genocide because he was about to get executed along with Katelyn. Plus aphmau was being forced into an unwanted marriage, and he needs to protect her/he loves her. Either way you see it, it doesn’t matter to me we all see it. He lost control himself and didn’t stop until an outside force(aphmau) stopped him.

Aphmau may not have had a choice as to when she got possessed by Irene but Laurence at the very least didn’t decide to continue to stay in shadow knight form, he may have gone into it initially because it was the only solution he could think of in that moment. They both had very similar scenarios, because Jesson had to write another arranged marriage arc because i guess that’s cool. But two very different reactions to said scenarios by other people. My autistic ass is upset about it not being fair.

Nobody gonna wanna read this but I need to rant about Laurence Fox. The man is vile. There was a woman of coulor in the audience at question time who said that the unfair treatment of Megan Markle in the press is due to racism, first of all whether it is down to racism or not, there’s no denying she has recieved unfair treatment, she gets vilified for the same things princess kate gets praised for. When the woman from question time said this Laurence Fox got so angry and defensive,like he was being personally attacked and said it had nothing to do with race, now I personally think it has got something to do with race but it is perhaps not totally unreasonable to say that it doesn’t because after all as it is not direct racism it is not completely clear and there are other reasons she has been vilified. Firstly she is an American (adding to the image of the outsider/intruder) there also may be classist reasons (I don’t know what economic background Megan Markle’s family come from but compared to the literal top of the Bristsh aristocracy she’d basically be a peasent in there eyes, I mean Kate Middleton was seen as a commoner and she’s posh af) and there is also also clearly a sexist element to all the hate she’s been getting, like when they say she has been manipulating Prince Harry. So if he had calmly said that he believed that her treatment was not racist, it may of been a little ignorant of him but nothing to awful but the way he denied it was so weirdly aggressive and defensive, like it was a personal attack, he acted as if this woman had accused him of racism and not the press. Then he went on to say that Britain is lovely and the most unracist country, which is obviously bullshit, Britain is pretty damn racist, it may be better then some countries but that’s hardly an achievement, so the woman in the audience quite reasonably said that it was easy for him to say that as a privileged (and the man is real privileged he went to fucking Harrow) white man and that’s when he really went off saying she was the racist for bringing up his skin colour and that he was born like it and it’s not his fault that he’s white like back the fuck up. She was not saying there was inherently wrong with being white just that white people may not be the experts when it comes to how racist Britain is, now of course there are a lot of white people who realise that just because they haven’t experienced racism themselves doesn’t mean that it doesn’t fucking exist, but as he was clearly to stupid to realise that I don’t see anything wrong with the woman from the audience pointing it out to him.

He also said that it was forced diversity and wait for it institutional racism to have a turbaned Sikh solider in the historical war film 1917. Like this man had one of the most expensive private school educations available and yet he is still too stupid to realise that thousands of Sikhs and other poc for that matter fought for the British in the Second World War. I mean I thought posh guys were all big on imperialism and the British empire, we still had one back then so obviously the commonwealth countries would been fighting with us, also it was called the WORLD war for a reason, it was fought by and affected many countries in the entire WORLD not just white Europeans. Then he went on good morning Britain to moan more about “woke culture” and how he could never date a “woke” women, millions of hearts shattered across the country I’m sure when some women found out they could never date a stuck up C list celebrity, who isn’t very good at acting and even worse at singing and look like a BTEC Benedict Cumberbatch. Peirs Morgan of all people criticised his comment about 1917 saying it was insulting. Then Fox replied some bullshit about everyone should be allowed to express there opinion, if you want express an opinion about diversity in the film industry then fine but claiming that only white men fought in the British army in WW1 isn’t an opinion it is factually wrong! How come Sikhs aren’t allowed to get offended over his comments when there ancestors fought and or died in WW1 but it’s ok for him to get offended when a poc woman dares to say he has white privilege. Any way I don’t know what he’s complaining about because he is allowed to express his opinions, they may have disapproved of his comment but the presenters of good morning Britain didn’t even confront him with these basic arguments. He is basically talentless and only has success because of his privileged background, which then gives him the opportunity to spout is uneducated opinions with relatively no oppersition on the television and to top it all off it gets to sing his anti “woke” song at the end, and I swear I am not being biased when I say it is one of the worst singing voices I have ever heard.
