Ok but like. Lets talk about the whole c!Tommy thing.

He has attachment to a lot of things. It defines him in a way and is what makes him and Dream such antithesi of each other.

But his main 3 things are.

Lmanberg

The disks

Tubbo

In a weird way where they can kind of be exchanged fir each other in a nonpermanent way?

Like he gave 2 disks to dream for lmanberg. However. He always knew hed get them back. This wasnt a "i give him this to gain that and thats it this will just be gone."

Its "ill give him the disks because lmanberg is more pressing right now, the disks can wait.

That kind of stuff yknow.

And the whole exile thing really messed with his sense if self, with his identity (it literally drove him to the brink of yknow what)

Because it stripped him of everything.

Lmanberg exiled him. He couldnt go back. He wasnt affilliated with it in any way and he COULDNT EVEN DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

Tubbo exiled him. Never visited or wrote a letter. No sign of him even caring about him. And once again Tommy was helpless about that. HE COULDNT CHANGE ANY OF THOSE THINGS BECAUSE IF HE VISITED HE WOULD HAVE BEEN KILLED.

The disks were mostly gone, and with him having no power or allies he didnt see a way for himself to change that.

Which led him to the tower. Yknow. And with him realizing that Dreams a bitch he realized that the last thing. The disks. Werent actually completely stripped from him, he could still get them because unlike lmanberg and tubbo they are just objects who physically cannot cast him out.

So the whole techno thing happens and we see him embrace the whole disk aspect of himself more and more.

The minor terrorism of lmanberg thing? A compromise. And believe me tommyinnit doesnt do thatvery often.

Admitting that Tubbo might be a wronging after the whole hostage thing?

Hell. Even just allying with the blade himself.

He pushed aside the goals that werent disk related in favor of said disks and.

Well. Technoblade encouraged that. Of course he did because the more Tommy focused onthe disks the more he distanced himself from lmanberg and tubbo which is what technoblade wants (in a non manipulative way mind you)

But the endproduct is what we saw today, willing to fight tubbo (to what might have been to the death) because a musicdisk.

And he realized how fucked up that was.

And he realized that he didnt want to think like that. And that continuing like that would make him more miserable than having stayed in logsted.

The fight for the disks was supposed to be a crutch. The single thing that could drag him away from the edge when he wanted to jump. The one thing he could cling to that would give him a purpose to keep living.

It wasnt supposed to be a permanent fix for his mental problems. It cant be. Because its just disks. I mean i could be wrong but i think in one of the earlier "living with the blade" streams he implied that after he got his disksback hed.... Yknow... Just go back up the tower...

The quest for the disks is finite. He needs other pillars to base his life on.

Its sad that he had to choose between tubbo and techno because theres no way a mentally healthy Tommy would have chosen the latter. And its sad because Tommy wants to be loyal to the blade. Wants to cherish the things techno did for him andthe time they spent. But if he did that he would betray who he is.

Techno chose to release withers instead of just tolerating a new government because just turning a blind eye would mean betraying himself. Tommy did the same and man its 2am and i am overanalyzing minecraft roleplay again jfc
