If you artists/writers are needing some very specific music to help inspire you and your story writing process, lemme give you some BANGER soundtracks to check out.

1) Tron: Legacy, starting off strong! if you’re looking for futuristic vibes there’s no better soundtrack than this one. It’s majority written by Daft Punk so you KNOW it’s good, and it’s got all the different songs you need to spark some creativity. Definitely one of my top favorites of all time.

2) King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. Fantasy heads, this one is for you. I’m telling y’all this one slaps so hard, you’re gonna come up with DND characters for each song even if you don’t play DND. Underrated movie, underrated soundtrack. PHENOMENAL. Genuinely one of the most fun albums to listen to y’all.

3) Pacific Rim, this one is VERY versatile. The specific vibe would obviously be “this is a movie about fighting giant monster demon aliens in a giant robot suit” but the all around soundtrack has a rock central motif that works for anything that needs to be totally. Kick. Ass. Definitely dystopian vibes if that’s what ya need. Listen to the main theme, you will NOT be disappointed.

4) Spider-Man Into the Spiderverse, superhero fans HELLO? Honestly if youve watched this movie and haven’t already been using this album to inspire you then who ARE you??? Got exactly what you need for those modern superhero vibes.

5) Halloween (2018). This one might be a little too specific- obviously it’s got that horror movie tension with a newer more electronic twist. Very strong rhythms, unique sound design, etc. If you don’t mind working around the very iconic Halloween theme, it might be just the thing for you!

6) The Amazing Spider-Man 2, you might not remember liking this movie (even if I think Andrew Garfield is the superior Spider-Man cough cough) but the soundtrack was fuckin DOPE. SUPER intense dubstep shit with an impressive mix of orchestral vibes, I felt no shame in adding another Spider-Man movie to this list. Absolutely genius, good songs for “villain origin” type vibes.

7) Many Beautiful Things, FINALLY a TONE CHANGE am I right? If you want coming of age, romance, emotions and/or heartbreak you have the right movie. These songs can straight up make you cry just from how beautiful they are. Perfect for you 1800s sapphic love stories or fairycore daydreamery.

8) Kingsman: The Golden Circle, that’s right folks I am indeed recommending to you the most confusing album to explain to someone ever. This movie said we’re going mix superspy bullshittery with all the classic American cowboy glory you want and make bucks off it. You wanna do action? Got it. You want old west? Yeah it shocked me too but they got that also so yeehaw motherfuckers.

(357) Look this is kinda gonna be all over the place so bear with me. The characters in this seem super cool and I wish they were more fleshed out I feel like part of my problem is they decided to name the characters and vaguely give them roles so it just feels awkward that they don't really have any personality. I even looked into if it was a translation problem and it kind of is but even with a script that has been better written (the PSP version) it doesn't fix the lack of dialogue to make these characters feel more than just cool designs.

Also duh I get that this a basically just a basic remake/reskin of the NES version so it plays NES adjacent and there were hardware and space limitations, but fuck man from what I've seen other than an extra dungeon and some story stuff that really doesn't change anything you didn't even try to make this more fleshed out for the PSP version. Great music, great sprite work absolutely great sprite work. Honestly, the plot of this game could be written in a two-page max essay and it feels super jumbled up and all over the place, cool shit executed poorly is just this whole game. 

You can definitely see this is still heavily DnD inspired but it's like a poor man's DnD. The dungeons in this game have pretty tile sets and not much else and 90% of this game is just running dungeon to dungeon with nothing interesting to break up the same same. If this game didn't have the Final Fantasy name I'd never have played it. The coolest part of this game was the leviathan which you don't even get to see, the intestines having acid that damages you was a cool touch and seeing the teeth in its mouth was awesome but then your just back on the world map and it's like "WHAT!?". 

The last boss was an absolute joke, really cool moves, awesome background and dope music but such a fuckin joke. Dissidia's designs of the Emperor and Firion made me wanna play this game and even though I feel it'll never happen I'd love a proper fleshed out remake someday to do these interesting set pieces some justice.

What is your favourite kind of weather? - i do dig those winter days in the midwest where theres snow on the ground and the sky is bright blue and everything is just Very Bright. i also dig like 70 degrees with a little breeze

What do you do to cheer yourself up when you’re down? - depends on how down i am. if i got a little energy, putting on some bangin music and drawing for fun or whatever tends to unslump me. if im down enough that getting out of bed feels like a struggle, i go find some good sheith fic that usually does it for me

What is something you’ve done this year that you’re proud of? - like ari said, we moved halfway across the country with a trailer and everything like a couple of real live adults and to be quite honest im still not sure how we managed it but we fuckin did
