Actually the fact Archie and Riku bear similarities should not be a surprise. Riku was the precursor blorbo to Lyon, and hence, the precursor influence in developing modern Archie~

#I AM SUCH A SUCKER FOR ENVY AAAAAAAH #I love it it’s such a misguided emotion #the wanting the insecurity the sinfulness of it. sheer perfection. especially when it corrupts.#it’s a feeling both riku and lyon have in spades to the best effect and something I wanted Archie to inherit from them~#And you can sure see the influence!
