"Whatchu doing, Cracker Jack?" Bobby walked in Jack's room, his duffle bag open on the bed, clothes spread out on his sheets and wardrobe open.

"Unpacking," Jack answered without looking up, grabbing a handful of folded t-shirts and shoving them inside his wardrobe.

"Pretty thing you've got there," Bobby said, hands in his pockets, tilting his head towards the bottom of the stairs, where Jack's girlfriend was with his mum, talking in the living room.

"Yeah, I'm lucky to have her," Jack looked at his brother, smiling a little.

Bobby watched his brother put his clothes away for a minute, then stepped further in his small room, standing right by the bed, "Is she as nice as she looks?"

Jack stopped in his tracks, two pairs of jeans folded in his arms, "She's nice to me, I don't know about your ugly ass,"

"Ha ha, you're so funny," Bobby mocked him, lifting his hand, about to smack him when something caught his eye. "Look at that," Bobby grinned, snatching something from Jack's bag. "What's this, Jackie boy?" Bobby chuckled, holding out a black pair of lace panties. Jack's eyes widened, throwing his jeans in the wardrobe and trying to grab the panties from Bobby's hand, "They're my girl's, our clothes got mixed up—"

"Does she let you wear them too?" Bobby cackled when Jack jumped on him, snatching the panties from his hand and shoving them in his pocket. "You're such an asshole, Bobby," Jack shook his head as Bobby shrugged, a stupid smirk on his face, "No wonder no girl wants you,"

Bobby's smirk fell, "I'll kick your skinny ass, Jack,"

"Hello?"

Bobby and Jack looked up and Jack's girlfriend was by the door, looking at the two, "Am I interrupting something?"

"Nah," Bobby shook his head, walking out of the room, but without turning around and eyeing Jack's girlfriend up and down. She caught him in the act, and he just glanced at Jack and went down the stairs without another word.

"Is he okay?" She asked Jack, now standing right in front of him, her hand going to grab his. Jack smiled a little, that was her nice way of saying, "What the fuck is his problem?"

"Bobby being Bobby," He said, shaking his head a little, when she kept looking at him expectantly, he grinned, "He's a bit of a dick, don't be scared to dish it out back to him just because he's my brother,"

"Okay," She smiled and Jack lifted her hand, kissing the back of it. She giggled and leaned forward, planting a kiss to his lips, then when she pulled away, Jack grabbed her hips, pulling her in. "I like your childhood room," She said, looking around at the posters, the speakers above his bed and his CD collection. "Hey," Jack whispered, meeting her eyes. She raised a brow when he looked down, then back up, licking his lower lip, "Wanna christen it?"

"Only when the house is empty," She said.

"Oh, come on, babe," Jack laughed, hugging her to his chest.

"I'm serious, keep your dick in your pants, Jack."

"How did you two even meet?" Jerry asked, everyone sitting around the table, having coffee and cake. Everyone stopped talking and looked at Jerry, then at Jack, and finally at the curly-haired girl sitting next to him.

"We met at a small concert venue," Jack answered.

"You're in a band too?" Jerry said smiling and Sofi aw'd. It was cute, imagining the two making a ruckus and calling it music, then falling in love because of it.

"I'm not in a band, some girls I knew needed a drummer because theirs got sick last minute, so I played with them that night," She said and Jerry nodded, a hand under his chin. "She's really good," Jack quickly added and Angel grinned, "That's it? That's all it took?"

"Well, before she played I saw her in the crowd—" Jack said and Camille cooed, "It's like the plot of a romcom!"

Evelyn chuckled and Jack's ears turned pink, "I mean, you are beautiful, sweetheart,"

"Ma, please stop!" Jack whined, gripping his hair in his hands.

"What? I can't compliment your girlfriend?" Evelyn sassed and Curly giggled.

"She is beautiful, but she was also eating a whole jar of blueberries during our performance," Jack said and Curly bit her lower lip at the memory, getting a little shy.

"What do you mean?" Angel tilted his head to the side in confusion.

"You know those Cheese Balls jars?" Jack made a vague shape with his hands and Curly shook her head, "It wasn't even that big!"

"Babe, it was a lot, and you were going ham-" Jack said and laughed when she reached over to try and press her hand to his mouth, to shut him up.

"Who the hell eats blueberries during a rock concert?" Bobby raised a brow.

"I was having a snack!" Curly said, trying to not to whine while everyone laughed under their breath.

"Actually, our band isn't really rock…" Jack corrected, Bobby completely ignoring him.

"So to recap, Jack saw you eating blueberries during their performance, and saw you again play on stage and you guys went from there? Who spoke to who first?" Evelyn asked, resting her chin on the palm of her hand, staring at the two.

"Jack did," Curly answered and his brothers hollered, reaching across the table to pat him on the back. "Jackie Boy got game!" Angel whooped and Sofi fondly rolled her eyes, smiling.

The buzz of excitement had been building for weeks. Aespa’s highly anticipated collaboration with Red Velvet was finally here, and it seemed like the entire company was on edge with excitement. But none more so than Y/n, who was—by all accounts—a certified Reveluv. He had tried to keep his enthusiasm under wraps, of course, but anyone who worked closely with him knew that his particular bias for Seulgi was impossible to hide.

As Aespa prepared for their big day, Y/n could feel the familiar nerves creeping in. Not because of the responsibility of organising such a large-scale collaboration, but because he knew he’d be in close proximity to Red Velvet’s Seulgi—the one and only.

“Y/n, you’re looking unusually peppy today,” Giselle teased, noticing his attempt to hide his excitement as they got ready in the studio.

“What? No, this is just my normal face,” Y/n mumbled, fidgeting with a clipboard.

“Uh-huh,” Ningning drawled, smirking. “Your ‘normal’ face that happens to glow whenever we mention Seulgi-unnie?”

Y/n’s ears turned red, but he didn’t have a comeback ready. He was too busy mentally preparing himself for what was about to happen: hours of rehearsals, and meetings, and potentially humiliating fanboy moments. Great.

Despite trained there at the same time as Winter, he actually never meet Red Velvet. He only became a fan when he left for a while.

So for today, he is both a manager and a Reveluv.

As the door opened and Red Velvet stepped into the studio, Y/n’s heart leaped into his throat. He could feel the energy shift as Aespa greeted their seniors with deep bows and warm smiles. Karina and Winter exchanged polite words with Irene and Joy, while Ningning and Giselle bonded instantly with Wendy and Yeri.

"Oh, Y/n-ah!" Minji, their manager, greeted him excitedly. "Finally, my first junior is working with me."

"Hi, noona. I'm excited as well." Y/n bowed. Suddenly, Minji scooted both of them into the side.

"Have fun gawking over our Seul." Minji smirked. "The girls bailed out on you for comedic relief."

"Of course they do…" Y/n muttered.

"Anyway…have fun!" Minji exclaimed before turning over to the girls. "Seulgi-ya! Can you come here please?"

"Ok!"

And then, there she was—Seulgi.

Y/n had met idols before. He had spent countless hours with Aespa and other artists, coordinating schedules, handling logistics, and ensuring everything ran smoothly. But this was different. Seulgi was, well... Seulgi.

"Seulgi, this is-"

“Y/n, right?” Seulgi smiled as she approached him, her voice as warm and friendly as he’d always imagined. "I heard from Minjeong about her hardworking best friend."

Y/n blinked, his brain short-circuiting. “Y-Yeah! I mean, yes, that’s me. I’m Y/n. Manager of Aespa. Yep, that’s who I am.”

The girls of Aespa exchanged knowing looks, barely suppressing their giggles at Y/n’s obvious awkwardness. He tried to keep his cool, reminding himself that he had a job to do. But internally, he was screaming.

Seulgi just smiled wider, clearly amused by his reaction. “Well, it’s nice to meet you officially. We’re really excited about this collaboration with our junior.”

“I-I’m excited too! Really, really excited,” Y/n blurted out before clearing his throat, hoping to regain some semblance of professionalism. “I mean, on behalf of Aespa, we’re all really looking forward to this.”

Seulgi chuckled softly before heading over to join her members, leaving Y/n standing there, frozen in place.

Trying to focus on logistics when Seulgi was right there was proving to be difficult. Every time Y/n glanced in her direction, his heart would skip a beat, and it didn’t help that Aespa, particularly Ningning and Giselle, seemed to be enjoying his internal struggle way too much.

“Idiot, are you okay?” Winter asked, feigning concern as she watched him fumble with the equipment setup.

“I’m fine, Jeong” Y/n muttered, clearly not fine. “Just, uh, making sure everything’s perfect for... you know... the performance.”

Karina smirked. “For the performance? Or for Seulgi-unnie?”

Y/n shot her a withering look, but the effect was lost when he nearly dropped his clipboard. Giselle and Ningning couldn’t hold back their laughter anymore, while Winter just shook her head, clearly enjoying his suffering.

"Stuff you all."

As the rehearsals went on, things only got worse. At one point, Y/n found himself standing too close to Seulgi during a break, and he nearly knocked over a mic stand trying to back away gracefully. Seulgi just laughed it off, but Y/n could feel his face burning.

At the end of the day, though, everything came together beautifully. The chemistry between Aespa and Red Velvet was electric, and the joint practice was nothing short of magical. Y/n had been so focused on keeping everything running smoothly that he had barely processed how incredible it all looked until he saw it from backstage. Watching both groups in perfect harmony, dancing and singing together, was a dream come true—not just for fans, but for him personally.

As the performance ended, Y/n stood in awe, his heart swelling with pride. Both groups had nailed it, and the crowd’s reaction was proof of that.

The after-dinner was a blur of get together and shared excitement. Both Aespa and Red Velvet were in high spirits, celebrating their bonds with food and laughter. Y/n, still riding the high from the practice, was doing his best to keep his cool, but the occasional glance at Seulgi kept his fanboy tendencies in check.

Ningning, however, wasn’t about to let him off that easily. “So, Y/n,” she started with a sly grin, “I saw Seulgi-unnie looking your way during practice. You should totally ask for a picture.”

Y/n blinked, caught off guard. “What? No, I can’t just... I mean… Ya Ning, it's mean to give me high hopes.”

“She’s right,” Karina chimed in, her eyes twinkling with mischief. “It’s your chance. You’ve been a fan for years, right?”

“Yeah, and we can all tell,” Giselle teased. “You’ve been holding it together pretty well today, but come on—don’t miss this.”

Before Y/n could protest, he found himself being nudged forward by the girls, his feet carrying him toward Seulgi before his brain could catch up. His heart pounded in his chest as he approached her, still unsure of what he was going to say.

“Seulgi-sunbaenim,” he started, his voice a little shaky.

She turned to him with that same warm smile, and Y/n felt his nerves melt away—just a little. “Yes, Y/n?”

“I-I was wondering,” he stammered, “if it’d be okay to take a picture with you. Just... you know, for the memories.”

Seulgi’s smile widened, and without hesitation, she agreed. “Of course! Let’s take one.”

Y/n could hardly believe it as they stood together, smiling for the camera. The girls, watching from the sidelines, couldn’t contain their giggles, knowing how much this moment meant to him.

Afterward, Y/n stared at the picture on his phone, barely able to process what had just happened. It wasn’t just a photo—it was a treasured memory, one that he knew he’d look back on for years.

The night continued with more laughter and celebration. Red Velvet and Aespa were mingling, the two groups bonding over their shared experience and the success of their collaboration.

At some point, Y/n found himself sitting with both groups, listening to the girls talk about their favourite moments from practice. The atmosphere was relaxed, the tension of rehearsals and preparation long gone.

Seulgi, sitting nearby, caught his eye and gave him a knowing smile. “You did great today, Y/n. It’s not easy organising something like this, but everything turned out perfect.”

Y/n, still reeling from his fanboy moment, could only nod. “Thank you, Seulgi-sunbaenim. It was... an honour.”

"Ayy, call me Seulgi-noona, now. We're way past acquaintance at this point."

"Ah ok…Seulgi-noona.."

"…Ya Seulgi, you broke him." Minji joked.

"Unnie, you're so mean." Winter followed suit.

As the evening came to a close, Y/n found himself quietly reflecting on the day (after finally coming into his sense). It had been a whirlwind of excitement and nerves, but in the end, everything had come together in ways he never expected.

He smiled to himself, the photo of him and Seulgi saved on his phone like a cherished trophy. Today had been a dream come true—and he knew that, no matter how many more events he organised in the future, this collaboration would always hold a special place in his heart.

…Of course, it doesn’t top the first picture of him and Winter smiling together when they first joined SM.

🍔What's a headcanon that hasn't made it into a published fic yet?

Kylo knew you were the one when he found he could fight with you and argue without losing his temper. He has a famously hot temper. He's a notoriously violent man. But of course, he could never hurt his girl. That doesn't mean that he wouldn't lose his temper with her, or so he thought. He thought it would be a challenge, that he would feel his blood pressure rise and his teeth grind when you angered him, because naturally you're going to. It can be a little thrilling to push his buttons. But he never has lost his tempter with you, despite your best efforts. He gets hot and bothered in other ways, ways he channels to improve both your moods.

It's true what they say, that Beauty tamed the Beast.

No one can debate that Jacques has a winning personality. He's fun, lively, exudes charm and charisma, and has no hesitation putting on a grand show for his girl. However, like so many highly charismatic people, his charm was hard-earned and developed for survival. A self-made man, he had no name or fortune and had to claw his way up the food chain until he became a man of power. He remembers going dirty and hungry and cold, sleeping on the ground, awaking to a muscles that ached from cold and a growling stomach that couldn't be sated. Charisma was another skill he learned along the way to survive. Just as necessary to gain power and fortune as being able to fight, red in tooth and claw, was the ability to mingle, to befriend, to charm to amuse. He had to make himself useful in all ways to his betters until he outstripped them all.

With you, he finds that he doesn't need to act at all and that it's all natural and second nature. It makes him swell with pride when he puts a smile on your lips. He realized you were the one when he realized that making you happy made him happier, giving you pleasure made his heart soar. He will also ensure his girl, his family, will never know the feeling going hungry or cold, nor of being shunned and kicked aside. His table will always be bountiful and his arms always warm and loving for his woman. When he smiles for you, when he laughs and entertains, its genuine and it makes him love you more.

Flip was raised outdoors and helping on his family's ranch, breaking horses, branding calves, cutting timber, chopping ice, hauling hay. All the things his size and rambunctious temper were good for.

His upbringing made him a die hard western movie fan. Clint Eastwood is his favorite with John Wayne a close runner up and he's watched their entire filmography at least five times over with his dad. He's ensured his girl has seen all of his favorites and plenty of others too. True Grit, The Outlaw Josey Wales, El Dorado, Unforgiven, to name a few.

Westerns are his favorite movie genre. However, he is also quite a bit of an ornery jackass. As such, his favorite genre to watch with you is horror. He loves setting the stage, making sure the house is nice and dim, the temperature a little cool, a fire crackling in the fireplace. The ambience is perfect for a movie night in, and all strategically geared to make you want to get nice and close to him, against his chest and inside his arms. He will tease you mercilessly and goose you during the jumpy parts. Then he will laugh - bray- like the jackass he is. He deals with killers and criminals in real life. Horror movies don't phase him. Some big ungainly bastard with half his vision obscured by a mask, coming at him swinging a chainsaw that's telegraphed a mile away is hardly a challenge. Flip would have fun taking your average slasher out in spectacularly ballsy fashion. Flip loves horror movies and chill. He chills while you get chills.

Mills is tenacious and hard working in all ways. He will go the extra mile and work harder and longer than anyone. Complaints aren't part of his vocabulary and he never shies from any quantity of blood, sweat, and tears it takes to see anything through once he sets his mind to it. He's determined to the point of self destruction and will push himself far past the bounds of comfort and even good sense.

The area in which he's happy to put in the effort and diligence is for his girl. Once he sets his sights on her, nothing will deter him. He will tilt windmills and make every overture, simple and grand, to win her heart. As a lovesick teenager who didn't know a damn thing about girls, this took the shape of embarrassing acts like clumsily strumming a guitar and singing off key below his intended's window at odd hours of the night until angry fathers ran him off. He considered it a badge of honor when one particularly enraged father took a shot at his feet with a .12 gauge.

Thankfully, he has learned a thing or two and now applies his tenacious enthusiasm in better ways. He will cook for you and rub your shoulders until his hands ache. He will bring you flowers and take you out for a picnic that entails a ride in his bush plane out to a mountain lake to spare you the hike. He will carry you to bed when you're tired and hold you all night. He considers it a personal failure when he doesn't make you cum before him, and is dauntless when it comes to making you moan and sigh. He is the ultimate Golden Retriever Boyfriend. He will work every day to make you smile and never let the new wear off.

Ace really means it when he says it. And you know that too, given you really are staring at the spot where a strange but most definitely cute boy appeared… ergh, floating midair? No, you already witnessed Lilia doing that, but that stranger was more like splashing in bright blots of purple, causing your stomach to react the same – tangling and splattering with excitement. 

“Ah,” you say without even blinking. “I guess you’re right.”

“Let’s go, we need to find Trey anyway,” Deuce nods to you and you finally manage to return from whatever state you were in. 

What an interesting person he is, that Chenya guy, you decide after following Ace and Deuce and throwing one more quick glance at the spot where he first appeared, noticing how air trembled a little, and only Chenya’s head popped up in the air. He gave you a wink, sending your pulse right to the stratosphere, and dissolved in the air.

“Oh my god,” you whispered, attracting Deuce’s attention.

“Did you say something?”

“Nothing.”

“What’s with Yuu?”

You don’t even notice Riddle and Trey approaching your table when you’re chewing your sandwich mindlessly, your thoughts somewhere far away from the current conversation. 

“Yuu‘s been spacing out lately.” You hear Deuce answering and turn to Trey, suddenly lighting up.

“Sorry,” you say abruptly. “Good morning, everyone. And Trey, I have one little question.”

“Yes, what is it?..” 

You smile sheepishly, thinking he would probably say you’re being silly, but you don't care as much, head is filled only with thoughts of him. 

“Do you know Artemiy Artemiyevich Pinker?”

A sudden silence lingering between all of you once you say it, blinking at Trey and noticing Riddle’s eyes narrowing. 

“How do you know him?” He asks and before you manage to even part your lips a little, Ace’s breaking into your dialogue.

“Forget how, I have another question. How did you even manage to remember his name?!”

You shrug your shoulders. “It’s not really hard!”

“I guess it isn’t when you’re, uh, you,” Deuce replies. “You’re a strange one.”

“We’ve been childhood friends with him and Riddle,” Trey finally gives you an answer and thinks maybe he shouldn’t have, given he almost physically saw bright heart-shaped sparkles in your eyes.

“Oh! Cool!” Your joyful laugh makes everyone stop talking and freaking out because of your reactions and appreciate how cute it sounds before you continue. “Then do you have his number?”

You wonder why everyone falls silent again and what is the reason behind Riddle’s concerned expression. 

“Yuu,” Trey breaks it first, ignoring your clueless gaze.

“Hm?” You answer.

“Do you… Uh, have a crush on him?”

“Ah!” You exclaim, covering bright pinkish blush on your cheeks with your hands and smile playfully. “Am I being that obvious?”

“I’m in no position to tell you what to do or how to think, but consider it advice…” Trey says, adjusting his glasses. “Please, Yuu, not him. He’s too bad, you’ll get hurt.”

Riddle and Trey expect you to get upset or frown at least, and you really fall silent for a mere moment before giggle and exclaim. 

“It makes him better, isn’t it?”

“I consider giving you up at this point,” Riddle says to you. But it’s not like you care, already saving Chenya’s contact after Trey sighed and gave it to you, not being able to resist your absolutely unobtrusive puppy eyes.

They say he lives trusting only his handsome face, but you could care less when you messaging him when the next time you meet will be and he replies with some sort of a riddle (what a horrible allusion, you think), remaining so enchantingly mysterious. 

You know maybe you shouldn’t fall for the obviously ‘typical bad boy’ type, but…How could you not when Chenya’s making your every late night call entertaining, promising he would appear in your dreams (and how he really does, given your head’s full of him during broad daylight as well as during such chilly lonely evenings in Ramshackle). 

“I heard Yuu‘s scream was heard even in Diasomnia,” Ace says when he and Deuce meet you and Grim in the morning. “What happened?”

“Felt like reaping my ears off,” Grim says instead of you. 

“Oh, nothing much,” you giggle. “Chenya just said he would visit us soon!”

“Do you mean you deciphered all the things he said?!”

“Hm?” You press a finger to your lip, wondering. “He’s pretty okay! Oh, look, he messaged again!”

Lights splash, and Chenya appears before you, his hair clips jingles softly when he bends over closer to your face. “He’s a bad boy” running through your head, Trey and Riddle’s complaints popping up in your mind within a second, but you brush it off when Chenya smiles at you.

“Good evening!!” You exclaim, restraining yourself in order to not to throw yourself at him. “You really came!”

“Every adventure requires a first step, after allnya~” 

Chenya grins, playfully wrapping a strand of his hair around his finger, and winks at you, causing you to squeak cutely and get a little bit closer to him.

“No matter how bad you are, I like you.”

“My, thank nya.”

He suddenly reappears behind your back, taking your hands in his and waltzing you deeper in the maze, but you don’t mind, humming something to yourself and enjoying his company. How mad Riddle and Trey would be! Haha, what a thrilling situation.

“Hey, Chenya,” he stops, his tale gently resting on the small of your back. He’s being extremely close to you, and at this moment you can’t think of anything else, it’s just Chenya shining in this world for you. 

“Nya?~” He asks you, his face close to yours. 

“You’re too good to give someone else. Wanna date me?”

Chenya giggles, pressing a soft kiss on your cheek and reappearing beside you, taking your hand in his. 

“I’m a stranger. You’re a stranger. Together, we are… strangers, nya~”

Oh my god, he’s a really bad boy, you think, intertwining your fingers with his and smiling.

Writer Appreciation Day

ok i've listened to it on its own now (third time) w/o watching the mv and it's pretty ok, there are some parts and verses that are good but my problem is the chorus. i feel like its such a tonal shift from the rest of the song and the vibes they were going for overall. as for the mv i adore it and the vibes but some dance break outfits were not doing it for me, they looked like typical stage outfits and felt out of place, and like you said kinda looked like standard 4th gen outfits? from what i've seen of 4th gen that is.

however i actually don't know enough about 4th gen to compare them 😭 at most i've probably only listened to OMG from newjeans and watched two mvs from 4th gen, namely 5050's cupid and sacrifice from enhypen. i havent even listened or checked out the new loossemble and other new loona stuff.. i'm too attached to 2018 LMAO so i don't have a solid frame of reference for 4th gen 😔 as for the rest of the album (FINALLY an album omfg its been so long, peek-a-boo era was actually when i became a reveluv so it's insane that it's been 6 years) i have yet to listen to it in full, but from my friends it seems really good and promising!

Last TV Show: Interview with the Vampire was the last show I watched that was new to me and I loved it. Such great violence and bitches! I picked it because obviously I'm on a vampire kick, and I binged the hell out of both seasons.

And I watched 1923 for the third time to prepare for the new season coming in February.

Sweet/Savory/Spicy: Savory. Give me all the creams and cheeses and bacon! I like sweet and spicy too though.

Relationship Status: Married 7 years, together for 12 or so.

Looking Forward To: In real life, I'm looking forward to getting a novel published and another completed and ready to send off this year. I have two in the bank and am looking forward to having three this year. I’d love to make more money writing than I do in my real career. That’d be the dream. Online, I'd love for this tumblr dumpster fire to get stoked and burning hot again. It was a fun time when there was all the activity whirling around and lots of interaction.

Current Obsession: Other than the actors I ogle here and movies associated with them, I don’t think I really have any obsessions. My favorite author is Wilbur Smith and I’m currently going through all of his books, rereading some and reading others for the first time. So, that’s kind of an obsession. I enjoy making moodboards and graphics for myself. Otherwise, I love to travel and I’m probably obsessed with my pets.

With the mention of each other during casual interviews and behind the scene footages, Carats and Reveluvs are aware that they are acquainted.

However, dispatch was able to receive an inside report mentioning that the two idols are more than acquaintances with multiple photo evidence to prove it.

More evidence piles up when the two were seen having a late night stroll. The insider states that they have been together for almost a year.

In the afternoon of April 29, 2022, Pledis Entertainment has released a statement confirming the relationship status of their artist.

Hello, this is Pledis Entertainment. After talking with the artists, we can confirm that Hoshi and Heaven have been seeing each other romantically for more than a year after being long-time friends in the industry. Moreover, we will be taking legal action for the invasion of privacy of our artist. Out of consideration for both individuals, we please ask for your respect and continuous support.
