1.Environmentally friendly development The annual output of cement, sand, gravel and concrete is huge, accelerating the increase in carbon emissions. "Low-carbon concrete" has become an important engine for the building materials industry. Active mineral admixtures such as fly ash and slag are used to replace part of the cement to reduce carbon emissions. At the same time, more companies are using inactive admixtures such as machine-made sand and gravel powder and tailings powder produced by solid waste processing. But concrete is not a "trash bin". Only industrial solid waste that is harmless to the performance of concrete can be used. The mixing station laboratory has a heavy burden on its shoulders, and the methods and technologies of concrete testing are constantly updated.
2.Current difficulties The laboratory technical department is currently facing three major challenges: 1. Unstable raw materials: river sand resources are exhausted, alternative sand sources such as machine-made sand are diverse, there are many types of gravel, polycarboxylic acid admixtures have become the mainstream, the workload of testing and inspection is large, and the production mix ratio is adjusted frequently. 2. Mix ratio design: It is necessary to prepare two sets of mix ratios to meet both specifications and construction requirements. The application of new materials is difficult to meet the current specifications. The laboratory must ensure the strength and quality of concrete, taking into account durability and economy. 3. Concrete on-site construction performance: The workability specifications are difficult to meet the self-leveling requirements of the construction site. The laboratory must take into account the on-site construction and strength requirements.

3.Conclusion Vigorously promote the application of green high-performance concrete technology to reduce carbon emissions. However, the widespread application of various admixtures and raw materials, the lack of systematic specifications, hinders the development of the industry, and leads to differences in the mix ratios of mixing stations in various places. As the core of controlling concrete quality, the laboratory faces pressure from Party A, supervision, construction units, bosses, administrative agencies, and other parties, and has a heavy responsibility.
