Next Gen Hcs

This is gonna be very messy but im gonna do one post for each character

We're starting off with my absolute angel my baby: HUGO GRANGER-WEASLEY

Hugo is genderfluid they realized in 2nd year (13yrs old because i hc them to be like hermione and have their birthday in September so they turns 13 a couple days into 2nd year)

when they came out it was in christmas break of 2nd year and they thought about changing their name to something more genderneutral but decided against it because they felt like hugo suits them perfectly even if it wasn't neutral

pronouns change based on how they feel everyday and lily made them little accessories with pronouns to wear so they doesn't have to tell people everyday

The first person they came out to was hermione and then rose then ron

Hugos the kind of person thats very in touch with their feelings but they're very sensitive and people tend to think they can just push them around but they'll always stand up for themselves its one of the only times you'll ever see them be genuinely cruel

The family jokes that hugos the angel out of the cousins because they're always so kind and gentle

But i don't mean that they're just a basic hufflepuff that's a ray of sunshine all the time, they're nice because they hate negativity they're always the first to defuse arguments between people and they're nice to a fault but they knows when there's a limit to kindness and will absolutely wreck havoc in that case

Hugo is dating lorcan scamander (*squels because they're adorable*), lorcan was the first person that Hugo came out to outside of the family and they both cried sobbing during it (lorcan was scared hugo was abt to tell him that they're dying) i have alot about them but im gonna leave that for a separate post

Hugo sometimes gets overwhelmed with other people's emotion because they worry sm abt their family and friends (lorcan always notices and calms them down)

Best advice ever will give it to straight without being an asshole - unless u deserve it

Doesn't really have a fav cousin but lily and lucy are the ones they spend the most time with, but when they were younger they went thru a phase where they absolutely worshipped teddy (realized a few years later it was gender envy)

Absolute mummy's baby they love ron but clung to hermione like crazy as a baby and shes definitely one of rhe first people hugo goes to for advice (it works cuz rose is the same with ron)

Had hermiones hair but facial expressions were all ron (he was calmer then both of them tho) their face is a perfect mix of both of them.

Loves reading is absolutely addicted and will read anything whether it's fiction or nonfiction, their room is just a library that they sleep in.

Hugo and rose are rlly close for siblings like they have their quarrels but not as much as others and they'll hug and kiss each other's cheeks goodnight.

Kind of relating to the previous one but hugo is super touchy, loves hugging everyone they see and holds people's hands while walking (when they cuddle with lorcan hugo looks like a koala clinging to lorcan likr hes gonna disappear)

Hates picking favourites whether its food or colors or people it will send them on a spiral for hours

Loves with all their heart trust is super big for hugo and if u lose it there's basically no chance of regaining it

Surprisingly holds grudges rlly well esp if u said smth abt the people they care about

Slapped someone once cuz they called lorcan crazy and loony (argued with minnie when she tried to give them detention until she gave in and let them go)

Stronger then they look, they don't work out much but they're always carrying huge bags of books, sweets, plants etc. and always randomly reorganising their room and lifting the furniture

Will never judge u and will take a secret to the grave

Cries at every movie or book ending

Loves doing their nails and having spa days

Grew their hair to be a little past their shoulders and takes very good care of it but keeps it low maintenance
