And will refuse to cooperate with an American company According to the MyDrivers resource, Huawei has launched the process of clearing inventory in preparation for the release of a large number of new products. Their release is expected at the end of this year or the beginning of next year. There will be so many devices that it is called a “ flood in all directions,” meaning both the number and variety of new products. [caption id="attachment_72844" align="aligncenter" width="600"] Huawei[/caption] At the same time, there is one very important point: from the beginning of 2024, new Huawei smartphones will use their own Kirin single-chip systems. Huawei will refuse to cooperate with the American Qualcomm. Huawei will switch to its single-chip systems from 2024 Huawei has already shown that to introduce a successful top-end product to the home market, it is not at all necessary to use the latest Qualcomm SoC. The latest flagships Huawei Mate 60, Mate X5 Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 are built on the Kirin 9000S, and at least the Mate 60 line is being sold out very vigorously in China. It is not yet clear what new Kirin SoCs Huawei is preparing. But if the company has launched production of the Kirin 9000S on a large scale, nothing prevents it from releasing new products based on it - while other single-chip systems are being developed and created. For Qualcomm, this is bad news: according to analysts, in 2022, Qualcomm SoC deliveries to Huawei amounted to 23-25 million, this year the volume of SoCs is estimated at 40-42 million. But next year there will be a decline. And Huawei aims to completely abandon the Qualcomm SoC.

The department may soon have such tools US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo expressed concern about Huawei's latest advances. In particular, the release of SoC Kirin 9000s. [caption id="attachment_64088" align="aligncenter" width="600"] Huawei's[/caption] Raimondo said the report that a Chinese firm has developed advanced chips is "incredibly alarming." She also notes that her department needs additional funds to ensure compliance with the export control regime. We need different tools. We need additional resources for enforcement. We're as tough as we need to be, but we need more resources. The US Commerce Secretary is incredibly alarmed by Huawei's achievements and wants more pressure tools However, Raimondo previously stated in the House of Representatives that she does not see any evidence that China can produce advanced 7-nanometer chips on a large scale. Let us recall that recently data appeared that the Kirin 9000s is allegedly produced according to 14 nm standards, but with a number of improvements. Interestingly, against the backdrop of these statements, the US Secretary of Commerce refused to comment on the progress of the Department’s investigation into the very SoC Kirin 9000s. Separately, Raimondo said she was proud of her department's recent fine against Seagate for trading with Huawei without the necessary permits. Let us remind you that the American Seagate was fined $300 million, and this is the largest fine in history for an American company imposed by the US Department of Commerce.

Probably on some old one LeTV presented the LeTV S projector, which would hardly be of any particular interest outside of China if not for one feature. The projector is based on a Huawei chip. [caption id="attachment_59981" align="aligncenter" width="658"] Huawei[/caption] Huawei is growing. The LeTV S projector is based on the HiSilicon platform The new product is based on a single-chip HiSilicon system. The specific model is not named - perhaps it is an old SoC, but still, the precedent itself is very interesting. Huawei may be going to more actively offer its platforms to Chinese companies to occupy new market niches. As for the projector, it is a Full HD model with a price tag of $410. The device is equipped with 2 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of flash memory, runs LeTV OS, and offers Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. The luminous flux is stated to be 550 ANSI lumens, but there is a modification with 600 ANSI lumens for $480.
