Huawei ‘lách luật’ kiểu mới

Huawei đang thử nghiệm cách mới giúp người dùng có thể cài được các ứng dụng mà không cần đến Play Store.

Sau khi bị cấm sử dụng những dịch vụ Google, Huawei đã phát triển kho ứng dụng của riêng mình là AppGallery, tuy nhiên, kho ứng dụng này chưa thể giải quyết được nhu cầu của người dùng Android và còn thiếu nhiều ứng dụng phổ biến. Để khắc phục, Huawei đang âm thầm phát triển một tính năng cho phép người dùng tìm kiếm và tải về các ứng dụng từ Internet, cho dù ứng dụng đó chưa có trên kho ứng dụng của hãng.

Theo phát hiện của XDA-developers, đặc điểm này có tên AppSearch, hiện được thử nghiệm trên AppGallery ở thị trường Đức. Tính năng hỗ trợ người dùng tìm kiếm trực tiếp file cài đặt (apk), sau đó cài lên máy chỉ với ít thao tác. Các file apk cũng đến từ những nguồn khá phổ biến như website của nhà phát hành, các trang web APKMirror, APKMonk, APKPure, Huawei AppGallery, Amazon App Store.

Tính năng lạ sẽ giúp việc này trở nên dễ dàng hơn ngay cả với những người không biết”, PhoneArena nhận định. Trang này cũng cho rằng động thái của Huawei là một “cách lịch sự để thoát khỏi sự tùy thuộc vào Play Store”, khi hướng người dùng đến những dịch vụ của một bên thứ ba để cài đặt ứng dụng.

Cách “lách luật” mới của Huawei sẽ giúp người dùng giảm những bất tiện khi thiếu các ứng dụng Google, đồng thời mở đường cho sự ra đời của các sản phẩm mới toanh.

Theo dự kiến, Huawei P40 Pro sẽ ra mắt vào ngày 26/3 tới.
