Gasps! A NEW AU CONCEPT THAT I MISSED

Hey guys! Remember when I mentioned that I made doodles of a Welcome Home Wizard of OZ AU? Well here they are, I wanted to share them with you guys and see what you think! :D

PLEASE NOTE: I don’t know if I’ll properly work on this AU since I’ve already got two AUs I’m currently working on atm, so for now I’m going to put the idea up in a shelf ^^

Silly springtime doodles

Happy easter to everyone who celebrate! This update was so amazing. the site look great and the update itself had a great balance of spooks and fun.

I had really been looking forward to the frank and Julie content and the update really didn't disappoint. Their whole springtime newscaster segment in the radio was so fun. I especially liked the entire Eddie part of it. But honestly the entire radio segment in general was probably my favourite part of the update. I really wanna animate some of it if I get the time.

The siblings were great! they somehow sounded exactly how I thought they would and totally different at the same time. still getting the hang of drawing them but it was a fun challenge.

One that really shone too in this update to me was Howdy. He's always great, but he genuinely cracked me up so many times in sweet briar and doing the interviews. And Barnaby playing the comic riff was just perfect lmaoo.

but honestly all the characters were just so amazing. I was grinning like an idiot the entire time.

I'll probably post some more spooky fanart soon, because holy hell the Julie videos and the Wally voice recording was spine chilling.

Anyways this is the reference I used for the Wally one.

Also can we talk about how in the new WH store announcement vid, we see younger versions of some of Howdy's family? Ramblings below:

Aside from it being neat, it seems like both Gam Gam and Hiya DON'T have their wings at that point in time yet??

I always assumed that the Pillars get theirs' as kids like Howdo and Youdo, and Howdy just... didn't get his, but maybe not? Maybe since their dad is a bee, they got theirs early?

Like a lot are already speculating, I think Howdy getting his wings (or not) is going to be a focus at some point in WH, and it's probably going to be horrifying...I can't wait!

Welcome Home: On The Road

Description: Remember Welcome Home, the popular TV show from the 70s? Well, if so, we revamped the old favorite show of many kids alike! In this new version of Welcome Home, we bring all the joy and nostalgia from the old show and flood it into our great new show, except this time we have a new hip look for the 90s and a few additions added! And this time their on the road in this sweet, sleek, and neat tour van! We have a lot to unload in this new fantastic reboot! Plus, new guest celebrities every episode!

Show run time: 1990-1993

Premise: The colorful characters of Home decide to try something new and explore across many areas. They have help from the new character Lex (OC) to teach them about all the cool things to see and hear! (plus some pop culture stuff) At the end of each episode, they get to do songs with the celebrity guest.

Segments: Instead of segments about learning, they have segments of the different cast of characters interacting with people of all ages and skin colors, learning about the stuff they like to do!

Characters:

Main: Wally, Barnaby, Howdy, Julie, Poppy, Frank, Eddie, Sally, and Lex (teen oc).

Side: Jonesy, Bea, Franny, Home, Mrs. Beagle, etc.

Theme song:
