Tamar Braxton’s Ex-Boyfriend David Adefeso Claims Tamar Punched Him While He Drove – ‘We’re Pretty Much Over, But The Love Never Goes Away’

David Adefeso – Tamar Braxton’s now-ex boyfriend – is clearing his name amid domestic violence accusations…or rather “murder-suicide” accusations made by the singer/reality star after he filed a restraining order against her. Yeah, it’s A LOT. More inside…

The season premiere of Tamar Braxton’s “Get Ya Life” is set to go down tonight. And the drama that’s going on currently in her life would likely give the show good ratings because ish has gone from 0 to 100….real quick.

Earlier this week, Tamar Braxton and her boyfriend of two-years David Adefeso were all in the headlines with reports that said David filed a restraining order against the singer. It was reported he filed the paperwork to “prevent domestic violence,” but he didn’t go into detail about what actually went down between them. Soon after news broke about the restraining order, Tamar sources alleged the Nigerian businessman threatened to kill her in a “murder-suicide.”

Now, David is clearing up his name.

On social media, David invited his followers to join him for a live broadcast on YouTube about how to avoid devesting financial impacts of divorce or separating from a longtime partner. He turned the comments off on the post:

During the broadcast, he addressed the drama with his now ex-girlfriend Tamar. He said HE is a victim of domestic violence. He said Tamar punched him in his neck while he was driving her to a mental health facility, causing him to wreck his Rolls Royce.

“Here’s the truth. I’ve been a victim of domestic violence, domestic assault. I was attacked. I was driving on high speed and I was attacked. A blow to my neck… to my jugular.”

After Tamar hit him, he said he was discombobulated. The 50-year-old said in that moment he called his mother and she started praying. After Taamar allegedly hit him, he said he found out he was being secretly recorded.

”And the tapes [have] been sent to my family. Tapes of me in distress, in pain, calling my mom, are being sent to my family and other people.”

David then talked about how his Rolls Royce was destroyed and there’s $30,000 worth of damage. Now that the cops are involved, he said he can’t share too many details about the alleged incident.

”I can’t really continue to speak about this because the cops were involved. It’s a criminal case now, for the damage to the car, the taping, the assault.”

                  In the latest development of the Tamar & David domestic violence accusation saga, David tells his side of the story about what happened in the car on the way to taking Tamar to check into a mental health facility.

  Despite everything that has transpired between them, David said he still loves Tamar and will always be there for her. He confirmed they are over, but he’ll always be there for support if she wants it.

“We’re pretty much over, but the love never goes away. I love Tamar from the bottom of my heart. I always have and I will continue to. No matter what she needs, I’ll be there as a support to her."

He also noted how domestic violence against men doesn’t get taken seriously.

”I’ll continue to stand by Tamar no matter what. But we can’t forget the victims, the victims of domestic assault, domestic violence. Domestic violence happens to men. 40% of domestic abuse and domestic violence occurs against men.”

In the video, he said he never physically assaulted Tay Tay and that he would never hit a female.

You'll notice he turned the comments off of his IG, but left the comments up on his YouTube account where he also spoke about divorce and prenups. Seems like he's trying to profit from this mess.

The breakup comes weeks after the “Braxton Family Values” star reportedly threatened to kill herself. A suicide note was found.

You’ll recall, David was the one who called 9-1-1 once he found Tamar unresponsive. During the call, David was heard saying, “She’s been drinking and she’s on medication for depression.” He also vented about how frustrated he and Tamar were with WEtv. The Braxton Family has been giving David the side-eye for what he revealed during the 9-1-1- call and they also said Tamar drastically changed after she got into a relationship with David.

Following the suicide attempt, Tamar posted a message on IG to thank everyone for their prayers and she thanked David for being her rock. 

Now that she's single, we hope Tamar Braxton gets back on track and learns from any past mistakes.

HOW TAMAR BRAXTON’S NIGERIAN BOYFRIEND FOUND HER UNRESPONSIVE IN HER HOTEL ROOM . Tamar Braxton was reportedly rushed to a hospital in Los Angeles after she was found unresponsive in her hotel room on Thursday, July 16. According to The Blast, the 43-year-old reality star was staying with her Nigerian boyfriend David Adefeso at the Ritz Carlton in downtown LA when he found her ‘unresponsive’. The publication said her boyfriend called 911 to report his girlfriend had been drinking before she took an unknown amount of prescription pills following a possible suicide attempt. The site adds: ‘Ambulances then arrived at the hotel and took her to the hospital. Sources have claimed that David believes that it was possible suicide attempt.’ LAPD confirmed to The Blast that they received a call around 9:45 P.M. in regard to a 43-year-old female who had a medical emergency listed as a “possible overdose.” Officers are following the woman to the hospital for further investigation. Tamar’s condition is unclear at the moment, but The Blast claims that Tamar has been extremely emotional due to an ongoing contract dispute with We TV. A spokesperson for Tamar said: ‘Tamar has had a very tough and emotional day — more information will be coming in the next few days. PLOT TWIST: After David Adefeso Files Restraining Order, Tamar Braxton Alleges He Threatened To Kill Her In A ‘Murder-Suicide’

Something terrible happened between Tamar Braxton and her boyfriend of two-years, David Adefeso.

Earlier today, news broke that Tamar’s boyfriend filed a restraining order against the R&B songbird. The details of what happened to make him file a restraining order have yet to be determined. It was just reported he filed the paperwork to “prevent domestic violence.”

Now, Tay Tay is telling her side of the story.

According to the “Braxton Family Values” star, she claims HE was the aggressor during a recent domestic violence incident where he allegedly threatened to kill her in a “murder-suicide.” Lordt!

Sources tell The Blast, Tamar & David got into a “heated altercation” while driving as they were headed to check Tamar into a mental health facility for treatment. Sources allege the Bluebird of Happiness singer questioned David about a recent IG video he put up that featured her 7-year-old son, Logan Herbert, whom the singer shares with her ex-husband Vincent Herbert.

“A day at the beach,” David captioned. “Sometimes mom needs a day off to herself to do whatever moms do whenever they have a day off to themselves! So me, Beans and Bonus Grandma aka Sonic-Mom hit Zuma Beach to have some fun”

During their argument, it’s alleged the singer told the Nigerian businessman that he was "around for the wrong reasons and could not be trusted." Sounds like her family got into her head since they put out stories how they have been giving him the side-eye. They complained Tamar changed after she got into a relationship with him, saying her mood swings tend to align with how he's feeling. They also say "he's very involved in her business decisions."

Then, ish hit the fan. Sources close to Tay Tay claim David “grabbed her hard” on her arms and caused bruising. The reality star claims she only grabbed him AFTER he grabbed her first. The site says there are pictures of her injuries, but they haven’t been released as of yet.

Whatever happened was enough for David to file a restraining order against the singer. And it’s likely safe to say these two are dunzo…for now at least.

The news comes about six weeks after the “Braxton Family Values” star reportedly threatened to kill herself. You’ll recall, David was the one who called 9-1-1 once he found Tamar unresponsive. During the call, David is heard saying, “She’s been drinking and she’s on medication for depression.” He also vented his frustration with the WEtv network.

It’s alleged she wrote a suicide note before allegedly ingesting pills to end her life. In the note, the reality star described the network’s leaders as “cruel white slave masters” who were “destroying a great Black family” in the name of show ratings in the note.

Following the suicide attempt, Tamar posted a message on IG to thank everyone for their prayers.

Hopefully, Tamar can get the help she needs to get her life back on track for the sake of her son!
