Mary Seaacole
Mary Seacole was a remarkable woman born in Kingston, Jamaica, in 1805. Her mixed heritage—her father Scottish, her mother Jamaican—shaped her upbringing. Her mother, known as "the Doctress," ran a boarding house where Mary learned the art of nursing. At 15, she travelled to England to expand her medical knowledge, a journey that sparked her lifelong love of travel. In 1836, Mary married Edwin Seacole, but their happiness was short-lived as he passed away eight years later. Despite personal tragedy, Mary continued her nursing and entrepreneurial ventures. She travelled extensively throughout the Caribbean and Central America, blending traditional Caribbean medicine with European medical practices. In 1854, when news of the dire conditions in the Crimean War reached her, Mary decided to offer her nursing skills. Despite facing rejection from the War Office, she financed her own trip to the Crimea. There, she established the British Hotel near Balaclava, providing comfort and care to sick and wounded soldiers. Her bravery and compassion earned her the nickname "Mother Seacole." After the war, Mary returned to England, facing financial struggles and ill health. However, her plight captured the public's attention, leading to a fundraising festival to support her. In 1857, she published her memoirs, chronicling her adventures and experiences. Mary Seacole passed away in 1881, leaving behind a legacy of courage, compassion, and resilience. Despite facing racial discrimination and personal hardships, she dedicated her life to helping others, earning her a place as a pioneer in nursing history.

“Belleville Man Says Sailor Was Murdered,” Kingston Whig-Standard. February 16, 1933. Page 14.  ---- W. E. Schuster Gives Attorney-General Information on Russian Incident ---- TORONTO, Feb. 10 — Suggestion that William John Stephenson, British merchantman engineer, who was shot to death by a Leningrad sentry in August 1931 for alleged refusal to halt when challenged, had been watched and "marked” for death by the Russian police for a long while prior to the killing, is embodied in a letter which Attorney-General Price has received from W. E. Schuster of Belleville.
Stephenson's killing, which at the time was aired extensively to the British House of Commons and caused the Soviet sentry who did the shooting to be placed on trial by the Russian authorities— a hearing which lasted but four hours and ended to hi acquittal— has been quietly looked into by Mr. Schuster since then. and his present knowledge of the affair, as contained in his communication reads as follows:
"I am personally acquainted with several friends of the murdered British sailor and their story 1 that Stephenson ' was desperately opposed to everything Russian, regarding the operation of the USSR as dangerous to the world at large. He was an intelligent Englishman and by reason of his opinions, freely expressed, detrimental to Russia, he was marked by the Russia police and when he obtained shore leave from his ship the S. S. Kingswood, he was watched and shot down in the streets of Leningrad. The story of Stephenson approaching the military depot was all fixed up according to his friends’ version. Twenty-five years ago, the British Government would have mobilised army and navy against this murder, but no one blames them for not doing so today humiliating as it may be for British subjects to have to tolerate such treatment of our own countrymen." Disregarded Sentry Claim Stephenson was 59 years of age, lived in South Shields, and had a wife and two children. He was chief engineer of the S. S. Kingswood. The official version cf the shooting as published by the Moscow authorities, upon intervention of the British consular authorities, was to the effect that the Englishman walked straight toward the sentry, disregarding his whistle gestures and spoken warning. The sentry then struck Stephenson twice with his rifle butt, knocking him off the pavement.
Another "red" witness at the trial of the sentry said that Stephenson then moved towards the sentry who retired and fired point-blank after the engineer had grasped the rifle- barrel with one hand.
This is the story that according to friends of Mr. Schuster at Belleville was “all fixed up.” In the light of his communication, it is anticipated that Queen's Park will pass on the information as supplied to the office of the Canadian High Commissioner in London England.
Mr. Schuster is well known to Kingston and he has been prominent In advancing a proposal to barter Canadian farm products for British coal.

Here’s a comprehensive guide to help you navigate the process.
Understanding the Market
The Canberra property market is known for its stability and growth potential. Unlike the more volatile markets of Sydney and Melbourne, Canberra offers a more balanced environment, with steady price appreciation and lower competition. This stability makes it an excellent choice for both residential buyers and investors.
Key Areas to Consider
When buying a property in canberra, location is crucial. The city is divided into several districts, each with its own distinct character and amenities:
Inner North and Inner South: These areas are close to the city center and are popular for their convenience, excellent schools, and vibrant community life. Suburbs like Braddon, Turner, and Kingston are highly sought after.
Belconnen: Located to the north-west, Belconnen is known for its family-friendly environment, extensive parklands, and the University of Canberra.
Gungahlin: One of Canberra's fastest-growing districts, Gungahlin offers modern amenities, new housing developments, and is ideal for young families and professionals.
Woden Valley and Tuggeranong: These southern districts provide a more suburban feel with ample space, making them perfect for larger families and those seeking a quieter lifestyle.
Financial Considerations
Before diving into the property market, it’s essential to get your finances in order. This includes securing pre-approval for a mortgage, understanding your budget, and being aware of additional costs such as stamp duty, legal fees, and inspection costs. Canberra Property Buyer Solutions can assist you in navigating these financial waters, ensuring you get the best deal possible.
Legal and Inspection Processes
Engaging a reliable conveyancer or solicitor is crucial when buying property in Canberra. SICK HEALTH ARTS PROGRAMME SMASH! CALL OUT APPLICATION: PARTICIPATORY WORKSHOP
INTRODUCTION:
I am applying for the role of Participatory Workshop Leader because I am enthusiastic about the importance of engaging communities in the power of the arts. I believe i possess the skills required to carry-out the technical and organisational responsibilities for this role. I am empowered and inspired by assisting others to find their grace and expression through all forms of art.
I have previously manage a community Arts space called Ground; I have also been working in the hospitality industry for ten years, most recently becoming a General Manager in both corporate/independent environments. I have up until recently been living in Sheffield working for an organisation named Artworks who work with artists with autism and or learning disabilities as a full time support Creative Workshop Leader. I have recently left this post to study a Masters in Youth and Community Engagement at Leeds Beckett University.
I am an expressive and open leader and try to manage and lead from the front with flair. I approach tasks creatively, whilst recognising that infrastructure and organisation plays a major role in enabling change.
I am a naturally energetic person; I engage my enthusiasm into challenging projects and circumstances. Prejudice I have personally experienced allows me to work with empathy, and has given me a genuine desire through project administration and outreach work to create positive change for everyone.
I would relish in the opportunity to host a workshop with you folks and be part of the SICK! 2024. I would bring energy to the planning process, having a strong ability to prioritise tasks, manage time constraints and organise workloads. I have an extensive knowledge of working with under-represented communities and artists alike, having worked with low socio-economic communities as a result of establishing myself as a community art worker. I would relish in the opportunity to support our wider creative community in the excitement that comes with participating in festival activity. And do so with the sensitivity and professionalism required to support our wider community.
Although I have not had the opportunity to visit the SICK! Festival, I have been following the work you folks do for a couple of years now, and have been waiting for an opportunity to hopefully work with you folks, as I am inspired by the work you do. I tell lots of folk about you.
CONTENT/CONTEXT: THEMES / TOPICS
The Chaos Office:
The Chaos Office, was born out of finding a use for our weight in surplus legal documentation and associated office paraphernalia.
Ground Gallery Kingston Upon Hull, (my home town) was established by a group of friends, who studied together at Newcastle University and had the chance to return to their home town and establish a community arts space entitled GROUND.
Members of GROUND, got the opportunity to take on and make good a 3 story Victorian building, that had been empty for a number of years, resulting in the space falling into a state of disrepair. We lovingly spent 6 months, stripping, cleaning, plastering and doodling on our new space.
The building was once occupied, by a charity name HIHAC, an Independent Housing Advice Association Charity. The charity went into administration some years ago, as a result, mountains of paperwork file-a-faxes and hole punches, were stored both on the top floor and in the attic. Whilst gutting GROUND, we worked hard where possible, to re-purpose where possible, turning tables into chairs and vice versa.
OBJECTIVES:
I would very much like to collaborate with you folks, on bringing the Chaos Office to Manchester as part of the SICK! Festival.
Office’ workshop. We will begin by checking in and collectively establish an agenda for the next 2 hours. We will use the rest of our time to create and engage in office related activity. We will use the time to discuss our bureaucratic frustrations and how this impacts our mental health. We might discuss, how and where we can access different support services, dependant on the conversations that come out of the session.
My role as facilitator, will be to introduce themes and materials, I will guide participants and work with them in encouraging them to make best use of the time. I will make reference to other works folks have produced during Chaos Office sessions as a point of reference for participants.
At the end we will Check-Out. During this time, participants will be given the time to debrief and divulge to the group on how they feel the session went and what they can take away from it. They may also use this time to just sit silently. It is their time.
MY LIVED EXPERIENCE OF MENTAL HEALTH:
My commitment to the creative arts sector has been a considerably tough journey, but it is a road I continue to travel through having built the emotional intelligence and resilience to endure and overcome barriers to my creative passions. I operate and can pivot resourcefully in finding ways to survive – an aspect of my personal and professional work ethic which has moulded the creative being I am today. Alongside my portfolio of creative projects, during the last decade I have also worked part-time in the hospitality industry to subsidise my ‘hobby’. I value this experience as it means I have had to experience life through necessity to live on the other side – something, more often than not, my peers have not had to do. These experiences position me as an eligible candidate to work with various communities whilst realising the genuine struggles folks are going through during these unpredictable and recently unprecedented times.
As a member of the LGBT+ community, I feel that I can relate to what it is to be a part of marginalised society. Although I have grown up in the predominantly middle-class, White suburb of ‘Hullywood’, I have always innately felt a sense of being ‘different’. People projected their ideas about my identity and who I was/am before I even knew, and I still don’t know. I am learning, it is a constant. I have found personal empowerment at 33 through working with younger community groups, learning about all the facets of my existence, a general level of acceptance amongst the younger generation and a desire to be understood. As part of my practising artistry, my work is centrally based in performance. Performance became a springboard to the acquisition of a confidence and theatrical expression in my art – talents and traits which allow me to excel and flourish within my professional fields.
OUTCOMES / OUTPUTS:
Solidarity.
Bureaucratic Liberation.
Peer Solidarity.
FUN.
Knowledge.
Confidence.
Space.
PRODUCTIVITY!
CHAOS!
I very much look forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards, William Vinegrad.

STILL STANDING in Kingston's Daily Freeman
KINGSTON, N.Y. — The Friends of Historic Kingston’s latest exhibit, “Still Standing,” recognizes 12 buildings and structures in the city as examples of successful historic preservation and shares stories of the efforts to ensure their survival.
Featured landmarks range from well-known preservation stories like City Hall to lesser-known accounts like RUPCO’s Lace Mill and Uptown homes like the early 19th century Amelia Westbrook House on Clinton Avenue.
Some of the preserved buildings were threatened by the urban renewal-era wrecking ball that saw more than 400 homes and businesses torn down in the Rondout Area. More recent preservation fights include efforts in the 2010s to save the Alms House, now incorporated into RUPCO’s Landmark Place affordable housing development, from potential demolition. There are also current efforts to rehabilitate the historic Kingston-Port Ewen Suspension Bridge, officially known as the Rondout Creek Bridge.
Dean Engle, a New Paltz Middle School reading teacher, helped set up the exhibit and produced a short film that accompanies it. He said while conversations around preservation in Kingston often lament the loss of landmarks such as the former Kingston Post Office, the Friends wanted to focus on success stories with this particular exhibit. “We’re celebrating the people in their time who made often lonely arguments for preservation and now we’re reaping the benefits,” he said.
A Poughkeepsie native who now lives in Midtown, Engle recalled how he joined the Friends as a volunteer after touring the Modjeska Sign Studio exhibit on the very day the museum reopened after the pandemic in 2021. He later went on to help with the expanded version of the exhibit that ran last year.
Engle also leads the Friends Uptown Walking Tour, which takes place on the first Saturday of each month, with the first tour of this year set for July 1. He explained how they selected the 12 buildings. “We didn’t want to just show the oldest buildings,” he said. “Friends of Historic Kingston has a diverse perspective and is interested in all historic buildings, not just the colonial-era stone houses.”
That said, the exhibit does feature the ruins of the Louw-Bogardus House on Frog Alley. Engle said the ruins are believed to be the oldest extant building from the European-settlement era in present-day Kingston. It stands just outside of the 1658 Stockade District. The exhibit also features 20th-century photos that show the home before it was gutted by fire in the 1960s, a period when it was abandoned.
“The fire revealed older construction techniques,” Engle said. “That made us realize we had the remains of the oldest extant building in Kingston, if not the larger area.”
While preservation efforts at the stone ruins are ongoing, including stabilization of the walls, there have been instances of vandalism at the site, including the removal of stones and damage to the remains of its period jambless fireplace, Friends of Historic Kingston Executive Director Jane Kellar said. The work is being funded through state Downtown Revitalization Initiative funds received by the city in 2017.
Kellar showed off an exhibit case featuring newspaper articles and other items chronicling the decades-long fight by preservationists to save the circa 1872 City Hall. The exhibits chronicle those efforts, which started after the building was abandoned by the city in 1972 up to 2000, when it reopened after extensive restoration work carried out by Robert Carey Construction. “They did a wonderful job,” she said.
Kellar believes preservationists succeeded in saving City Hall because they argued that the building had value as an anchor of Midtown. Kellar said she hopes to add more elements to the exhibit in the future. “We have oral histories for each, but we’re not sure how to make it work,” she said. Exhibit hours are Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through the end of October. For more information about this exhibit and other Friend’s programming, visit the organization's website.

Understanding the Kingston Housing Market
Tumblr media
When looking to buy a home in Jamaica, particularly in Kingston, it's essential to understand the dynamics of the Kingston housing market. Kingston is known for its vibrant culture, economic opportunities, and desirable living conditions, making it a sought-after location for many. The housing market here can be competitive, with a range of options from luxury apartments to modest family homes. Prices can vary significantly depending on the neighborhood, amenities, and proximity to key areas.
One of the first steps in navigating the Kingston housing market is to determine your budget. This will help narrow down your options and make the search process more manageable. Additionally, working with a local real estate agent who has in-depth knowledge of the market can provide valuable insights and assistance in finding the best residential area that suits your needs. Understanding the market trends, average property prices, and the demand for specific types of housing can also help you make an informed decision.
It's also important to consider the long-term investment potential of the property you are interested in. Kingston's real estate market has shown steady growth over the years, making it a promising area for property investment. Whether you are looking to buy a home in Jamaica for personal use or as an investment, understanding the Kingston housing market is crucial to making a wise decision.
Moving to Kingston: What You Need to Know
Moving to Kingston can be an exciting adventure, but it's important to be well-prepared. Kingston is the capital city of Jamaica and offers a unique blend of urban living with a touch of natural beauty. Before making the move, consider factors such as the cost of living, the availability of essential services, and the overall lifestyle that Kingston offers.
One of the key considerations when moving to Kingston is finding the right neighborhood. Each area has its own distinct character and amenities, so it's crucial to choose one that aligns with your lifestyle and preferences. Whether you're looking for a bustling urban environment or a quieter suburban setting, Kingston has something to offer for everyone.
Additionally, it's important to familiarize yourself with the local culture and customs. Kingston is known for its rich cultural heritage, vibrant music scene, and delicious cuisine. Embracing the local culture can help you feel more at home and make the transition smoother. It's also helpful to connect with local expat communities and social groups to build a support network and get insider tips on living in Kingston.
When moving to Kingston, it's also essential to consider the logistics of the move. This includes arranging for the transportation of your belongings, finding temporary accommodation if needed, and ensuring that all necessary paperwork and documentation are in order. Being well-prepared can help make the move to Kingston a positive and stress-free experience.
Kingston Public Transport: Navigating the City
Transportation is a vital aspect to consider when choosing a residential area in Kingston. The city has a well-developed public transport system that includes buses, taxis, and minibuses, making it relatively easy to get around. The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) operates an extensive bus network that covers most parts of the city, providing an affordable and convenient mode of transportation.
For those who prefer driving, Kingston's road infrastructure is generally well-maintained, though traffic congestion can be an issue during peak hours. It's also worth noting that some neighborhoods are more pedestrian-friendly than others, so if you enjoy walking or cycling, you may want to consider areas with good sidewalks and bike lanes.
Another option for getting around Kingston is using ride-sharing services, which have become increasingly popular in recent years. These services offer a convenient and often cost-effective alternative to traditional taxis. Additionally, some neighborhoods have easy access to major highways and thoroughfares, making commuting to other parts of the city or the island more convenient.
When evaluating public transport options, it's also important to consider the proximity of your potential home to public transport hubs and routes. Living near a bus stop or a major transport route can make daily commuting more convenient and reduce travel time. Overall, understanding the public transport options in Kingston can help you choose a residential area that best suits your needs and lifestyle.
Exploring Kingston Housing Options
Kingston offers a diverse range of housing options to cater to different preferences and budgets. Whether you're looking for a luxury condo, a spacious family home, or a cozy apartment, you'll find plenty of choices in the city. Some of the best condos near Kingston are located in areas like New Kingston, Liguanea, and Barbican, offering modern amenities and convenient access to key locations.
For those who prefer a more suburban lifestyle, neighborhoods such as Stony Hill, Red Hills, and Havendale provide a peaceful environment with larger homes and more green spaces. Additionally, there are gated communities and townhouses available for those seeking added security and a sense of community. These areas often have amenities such as swimming pools, parks, and recreational facilities, making them ideal for families.
Another popular housing option in Kingston is renting. Renting can be a more flexible and affordable option, especially for those who are new to the city or are not yet ready to commit to buying a home. There are many rental properties available, ranging from budget-friendly apartments to high-end luxury rentals. Working with a local real estate agent can help you find the best rental options that meet your needs and budget.
It's also important to consider the long-term maintenance and upkeep of the property. Some housing options, such as condos and townhouses, may have homeowners' association (HOA) fees that cover maintenance and amenities. Understanding these costs and responsibilities can help you make an informed decision and choose a housing option that fits your lifestyle and financial situation.
Understanding Kingston Crime Rates
Safety is a top priority when choosing a residential area, and understanding Kingston's crime rates is essential. While Kingston, like any major city, has areas with higher crime rates, there are also many safe and secure neighborhoods. It's important to research and gather information about the crime statistics in different areas to make an informed decision.
Working with a local real estate agent can provide valuable insights into the safety of various neighborhoods. Additionally, speaking with residents and visiting the areas at different times of the day can help you get a better sense of the security and overall atmosphere of the neighborhood.
It's also helpful to look into the presence of neighborhood watch programs and community policing initiatives. These programs can contribute to a safer environment and foster a sense of community among residents. Some neighborhoods may also have gated entrances and security patrols, providing an added layer of security.
When evaluating crime rates, it's important to consider both property crimes and personal safety. Researching local news sources and crime reports can provide a comprehensive understanding of the safety of different areas. Ultimately, choosing a residential area with low crime rates and a strong sense of community can help ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
Evaluating Amenities and Community Aspects
Apart from the basic factors like housing options and safety, other amenities and community aspects play a crucial role in choosing the best residential area in Kingston. Consider the proximity to schools, hospitals, shopping centers, parks, and recreational facilities. Having essential services and amenities nearby can significantly enhance your quality of life.
Moreover, the sense of community and neighborhood culture are important factors to consider. Some areas may have active community groups, events, and social gatherings that can help you feel more connected and engaged with your neighbors. It's worth exploring these aspects to ensure that the neighborhood aligns with your lifestyle and preferences.
For families with children, the availability of quality schools and childcare facilities is a key consideration. Kingston has a range of educational institutions, including public and private schools, as well as international schools that offer various curricula. Proximity to good schools can make daily routines more convenient and provide children with access to quality education.
Healthcare facilities are another important aspect to consider. Having hospitals, clinics, and medical centers nearby can provide peace of mind and ensure that you have access to essential healthcare services. Kingston has several reputable healthcare facilities, making it a convenient location for medical care.
Shopping and entertainment options are also important factors to consider. Kingston has a variety of shopping centers, markets, restaurants, and entertainment venues, offering a vibrant and dynamic lifestyle. Being close to these amenities can make daily life more enjoyable and convenient.
Conclusion
Choosing the best residential area in Kingston for your needs requires careful consideration of various factors, including the housing market, transportation, safety, amenities, and community aspects. By doing thorough research and seeking assistance from local experts, you can make an informed decision that will lead to a comfortable and fulfilling living experience in Kingston. Whether you are looking to buy a home in Jamaica or find the best condos near Kingston, understanding these key factors can help you find the perfect place to call home.

Superhero History 101
Are you interested in the history of superheroes but don’t know where to begin? Do you have a history test coming up that you didn’t study for? Or are you just trying to understand what the hell your kids are on about? Well, worry not, dear reader! Here at Cape-Watch, we’ve managed to break down the long and complex timeline of events surrounding our beloved crimefighters into digestible bites! All of the most major events of the past century concerning our spandex sentinels are listed for your viewing pleasure below!:
1938: The Immortal, widely considered to be the world’s first superhero, makes his debut by stopping a bank robbery in New York’s Financial District.
1939: Other similar stories begin to emerge, both in the US and abroad. A major gunrunning ring in Chicago is taken down by the Amazonian heroine War Woman, while criminals in the Jamaican capital of Kingston learn to fear the songbird vigilante known as Soprano.
1942: By special decree from General Eisenhower, and with the support of Soviet high command, the Directorate of Superhuman Activities was established. Its principle unit was Task Force Jupiter, more commonly known as the Defenders of The Free World, the world’s first superhero team. While the above crimefighters formed part of the lineup, the Second World War also spawned new heroes, such as the Soviet speedster Red Rush and the American super soldier Frontline, who also joined the team.
1944: The first proper persons to be considered ‘supervillains’ make their appearance, many of them high-ranking officers in the Wehrmacht or Luftwaffe. Many of these ‘villains’ were later found guilty of war crimes in the Nuremburg Trials, and subsequently imprisoned or hanged.
1945: the 15th of May is marked as National Superhero Day, observed one week after the end of WW2, in commemoration of Task Force Jupiter’s capture of the infamous Kriegsburg, and their subsequent capture of the Nazi supervillain Wotan.
1946: The Browne Act is passed by a landslide majority in both the US Senate and The House Of Representatives, effectively making all superheroes government employees. Similar laws are passed in other nations, mainly the USSR, United Kingdom, France, etc.
1947: The first iteration of the Guardians Of The Globe is formed, led by The Immortal. Many of the former Defenders members also sign up, and this team becomes the first response to major catastrophic events.
1959: The Vanderbilt-McKean Act is passed, allowing superhero teams to be primarily funded by corporate entities as opposed to state sources, provided that sufficient government oversight is maintained. Three months later, the flagship company behind these teams, Capes Incorporated, is unveiled at an international business conference in Washington, DC. Today, over 150 countries have at least one corporate team funded by Capes Incorporated.
1968: An intervention by members of Capes Incorporated’s South Vietnam branch in the Battle of Hue City leads to the unfortunate deaths of both US servicemen and civilians alike. In response, the United Nations adds an extension to Article 41 of its charter, prohibiting the use of superpowered beings in military conflicts.
1981: The infamous San Lorenzo mission takes place, a botched raid on the supervillain collective known as The Order. A mix of faulty information and inadequate preparation leads to the deaths of Red Rush and Miniscule Man, and also leads longtime member Frontline to leave the team the next day. The same year, Frontline forms his own team, Breakthrough, alongside the European heroes Monsieur Mouche and Miss Vermillion.
1987: After a six year long stint as the leader of Breakthrough, Frontline announces he is departing the team to lead a group of teenage superheroes, later christened on Halloween Night as the first line-up of the Teen Team, made up of young crimefighters such as the second Red Rush, Green Ghost and Black Samson. Later additions include heroes such as Kid Crustacean, Pangaea and Shrapnel.
1994: A public announcement reveals that Frontline vanished while on a solo mission in an undisclosed part of Central Asia, and is to this day still missing, presumed dead. In his absence, War Woman is elected to lead the Teen Team until the remaining members reach adulthood.
2000: The alien superhero later known as Omni-Man arrives on Earth, quickly cementing himself as one of the strongest superheroes in recent history. Despite many offers, he prefers to work alone rather than as part of a team.
2001: The largest line-up of the Guardians Of The Globe is formed, including both original Guardians, former Teen Team members and newer heroes such as the Midnight City detective Darkwing, the Atlantean king Aquarus and the extra-terrestrial hero Martian Man.
2007: The second iteration of the Teen Team is unveiled, featuring members such as Blackout, the second Kid Crustacean, Demigod and Bug-Eye, and was led by the veteran hero known only as ‘Brit’.
2012: The superhero team known as Fight Force is formed, which quickly builds a reputation for high levels of spectacle and even higher levels of damage to public property, making them quite the controversial group.
2017: The third line-up of the Teen Team is established, this time headed by the mechanical superhero Robot, with the main roster comprised of Atom Eve, Rex Splode and Dupli-Kate.
2021: The entirety of The Guardians Of The Globe are found murdered inside of their headquarters while Omni-Man is discovered to be in critical condition. Initially suspected as an attack by The Order, the killer is later revealed to be Omni-Man, whose injuries resulted from the struggle. After again killing an apparently resurrected Immortal, he then fought the younger hero Invincible, which resulted in a trail of death and destruction that left tens of thousands dead. Omni-Man then fled from Earth for unknown reasons, leaving Invincible in critical condition. Later that year, a mission by the current line-up of the Guardians (with the addition of Immortal) discovers the supervillain team The Lizard League murdered within the confines of a nuclear research facility.
And that’s it! While you may not find this list to be the most informative list, we hope that the broad strokes included here might encourage you to seek out other sources for more information. Until next time!

Hi! Quick question. You seem to be pretty adamant about the whole “house buying” rumor being fake. I just wanted to say that while it could indeed be fake, there’s also a chance that maybe they DID buy a house, and that said house is being renovated too. Idk, I don’t think the entire article from the Mirror is true, but I do think there’s possible parts of it that are. Also, did you see that Latisha, Harry’s rumored girlfriend, liked a post on Insta ab Tom & Z buying a house too? Adds more fuel to the fire, if you ask me.
I haven't changed my stance on the house.
These gossip rags sometimes use a location other than the actual one. For example, they once stated Tom was in Encino, CA when in fact he was in nearby Northridge. I believe that's the case with the "Richmond" house as well, when in actuality, the house is in Kingston, which is just 5 miles from Richmond.
The photo provided of the house TZ allegedly purchased together is 100% Tom's Kingston home that he purchased in November 2018. This house is currently undergoing an extensive remodel. Other evidence suggests it's his Kingston home that the tabloids have mistaken for a house Tom and Z recently bought and are renovating in “Richmond”.
I'm well aware of Latisha's like. I reblogged it earlier. She has since unliked it. As for why she liked and then unliked it, only she knows.
Tumblr media
Idk if Latisha is even aware of Tom's Kingston home that is currently being remodeled. Latisha met Tom and Harry while Tom was filming Uncharted.  Since returning to London after filming back-to-back Uncharted and NWH, Tom and Harry have lived in a rental. Hence, she met them after they moved out of Tom's house for the ongoing renovations. So I suspect she knows what the future holds for Mr & Mrs Holland TZ, and assumed the post she liked was true.
