It's also especially fun because the gang gets to see each other in a more natural environment as they're still learning to navigate their attraction for each other. They're doing lots of those important bonding activities while rolling around in mud and hiking for miles a day, and then when they occasionally hit a colony or a campsite with running water and everyone gets to take a bath and clean themselves, it's all weird again, because they've never seen each other that clean except when they were still enemies XD

Like I'm just saying, that's one way to develop a kink. It all gets tangled up, they have this familiarity with each other's bodies in a more realistically mussed-up way, signs of hard work, relaxation always paired with seeing the rest of the gang also relaxing...
