Still watching. He is now saying the Eleventh Hour is bad because the doctor defeats the bad guy by...telling him how great he is. Instead of actually, you know, actually doing the great stuff. Yeah that's a memorable scene I understand why it stuck inside your head so much random youtuber essayist the problem with this criticism you see is that you forgot to actually REWATCH this episode before making your oh-so-insightful remarks didn't you ? because the villain of the eleventh hour and actual plot of the episode is that weird fish Prisonner Zero. Which the doctor actually defeated by doing cool clever shit (something to do with phones and pictures and Prisoner Zero hiding. Whatever). The Cool ass speech which everyone remembers is AFTER the plot was resolved to make sure the big eye thing does not come back but is in no way the resolution of the episode. You could cut it out entirely and still have a perfectly fine coherent episode.

What's funny about is that there IS a story where the doctor defeats the actual ennemies of the episode and resolves the plot ONLY with his reputation and implying he used to do cool shit.
