사랑과 침묵 Amar y Callar

넬리 오마르(Nelly Omar)는 루시오 데마레(Lucio Demare)가 작곡하고 오메로 만씨(Homero Manzi)가 작사한 '말레나(Malena)'의 실제 인물로 알려진 명가수다.

2008년 기타리스트 호세 까넷(José Canet)과 함께 '치마 입은 가르델(=La Gardel con Polleras)'이란 음반을 발표했다. 까를로스 가르델이 스���로 기타를 연주하며 노래한 것에서 착안에 이런 제목을 붙인 듯.

알고 보니 1988년 발매한 '영혼으로부터(=Desde El Alma)'를 제목만 바꿔 재발매한 거. 근데 이것도 오리지널이 아니었고 1976년도에 나온 거를 재탕한 거.

피아졸라 음반 중에도 과거에 발매한 걸 포장만 바꿔 신보인 양 속이는 사례가 있다. 바꿔 말하면 명반이니까 이런 짓도 하는 거겠지.

암튼 이 음반에 '사랑과 침묵(=Amar y Callar)'이란 곡이 있는데, 넬리 오마르가 직접 작사했다. 그동안 음악만 듣다 최근 가사를 번역기에 넣었더니 아무래도 내용이 불륜의 사랑에 관한 거 같다.

"네가 날 사랑하는지 누군가 궁금해 네게 전화를 한다면, 입으로는 사랑하지 않는다고 말해. 하지만 영혼은 날 사랑한다고 계속 반복해 줘 …중략…둘 만의 비밀로 간직한 채 내가 괴로워하는지 그렇지 않은지를 아무도 모르게."

Se Entrevistó a Hugo Manente  del Club Juventud y Armonía. Dentro del marco de investigación histórica de las Bochas en el Club Atlético Boca Juniors, se llego al Club Social y Deportivo Juventud y  Armonía de Pompeya. Allí nos entrevistamos con el Hugo Manente un socio de 85 años de este club. El cual es un libro de historia de los deportes de esta institución. El Club Juventud y Armonía fue fundado en 1930, y esta tan solo a metros de la casa donde vivía Homero Manzi. Fue un Club donde iban varias glorias y leyendas de la sociedad argentina porteña.

"Otros Aires - Milonga sentimental"

오뜨로스아이레스(Otros Aires)는 스페인 바르셀로나에서 결성한 재즈 일렉트로니카 밴드다. 아마도 그래서 '또 다른 부에노스 아이레스'란 의미로 밴드명을 그렇게 지은 듯.

'감성적 밀롱가(=Milonga sentimental)'는 1931년에 오메로 만씨(Homero Manzi) 작사, 세바스티안 삐아��(Sebastián Piana)가 작곡했다. 당시에 꽤 인기가 있었는데, 아다 빨꼰, 메르세데스 시몬 같은 여가수 외 다수 녹음이 있다.

까를로스 가르델은 1933년에 이 곡을 녹음했고, 오뜨로스아이레스는 2004년 발매한 데뷔 음반에 이곡을 수록하며 가르델 목소리를 샘플링해 넣음.

뮤직 비디오가 있던데, 미국 퓨전재즈 밴드 메데스키 마틴 & 우드(MMW)의 ' 파르티도 알토(Partido Alto)' 뮤비가 연상됐다. 만화 영화도 삽입돼 있던데 베티붑, 뽀빠이로 유명한 맥스 플라이셔(Max Fleischer) 느낌이긴 하나 정확히 어느 만화를 인용했는지는 못 찾음.
