I'm torn between 4 & 7 for Werebear!Ari and Honeybee.

Winter was over, the clutch of it had dissipated and with it had gone hibernation. It was a slow eradication, a slow crawl for all of nature as spring crept in. The first time you and Ari had gone out together after hibernation was weeks after your first cub had been born.

The leaves were fully grown and shaded the immediate area around your homeX the path overhanging with life. You, Ari and your cub were prepped for a walk through your property with your babe nestled against his chest. The first time you’d truly stepped outside and felt the warmth of spring against your skin, you’d felt elated. Beyond all measures, you felt happy to feel the warmth and get to enjoy your new cub.

“This is all yours,” Ari spoke softly to your cub, your babe nestled safely against him, “one day, you and I are gonna run wild.”

“Two bears,” you squeezed his hand, walking languidly with him, “in this big great forest. What am I going to do with you?”

“Honeybee, you gave me everything.” Ari turned to you, kissing your temple as the breeze rattled the leaves and sunlight shone through the cover of nature. “You two are my everything.”

“I think you give me more credit than what’s due.” You teased Ari, walking down the well trodden path until you made it to the creek and bridge.

Ari’s signature was in the wood, carved with your name and beholden of his craftsmanship. He was busy during hibernation, preparing the land and your home for your cub. There were countless things he wanted to show her, an endless list of places he wanted to take her.

“One day, Ari.” You reminded him, stopping in the middle of the bridge, your hands steadily holding the rail until Ari had reached for you.

“Someday,” he tugged you to his chest, arms snaking around your waist, “we’ll picnic with our cubs on this bridge.”

You leaned into him, mindful of your cub, and sweetly pressed your lips against his. The kiss was full of warmth and adoration, mutual love and respect for the life you’d built together.

“I can’t wait, Ari.”

Exhorta UMPC a no quemar basura en zona de pastizales #EnContrasteVeracruz Córdoba, Ver. -Ante las condiciones climáticas que prevalecen en la zona, y para prevenir incendios forestales, la Unidad Municipal de Protección Civil de Córdoba (UMPC), hizo un llamado a la población para que eviten la quema de basura, de yerba, o arrojen colillas encendidas, sobretodo en pastizales. Al informar lo anterior, el titular de la UMPC Jorge Tress Martínez, detalló que tan solo durante el viernes pasado se atendieron 3 incendios de pastizales que tuvieron su origen por la quema de basura, situación que no pasó a mayores por la oportuna intervención del Cuerpo de Bomberos, sin embargo, por el clima que prevalece de altas temperaturas y fuertes rachas de aire pueden salirse de control. Los incendios se registraron el fin de semana en la zona de Homex, Metalúrgica y Panteones. En Córdoba la zona de la USBI; 20 de Noviembre y San José de Tapia se consideran focos rojos en este tema, ya que cuentan con grandes extensiones de pastizales o yerbas y que podrían salirse de control rápidamente en caso de una quema de desechos. Finalmente; recordó que además de la quema de pastizales otro tema de cuidado, son los golpes de calor; por lo que recomendó, no exponerse a las altas temperaturas de calor por periodos prolongados, especialmente a los adultos mayores y niños; así como hidratarse correctamente y aplicarse bloqueador.
