Remembering Harriet Peters, Dance Program Pioneer

The Hofstra community is saddened to learn of the recent passing of Professor Harriett Peters, who served on the Hofstra faculty from 1963-1997 and co-launched Hofstra’s Dance Program with Drama Professor Carl Morris. Dance at Hofstra started with just four students in 1984 and has now grown to 80 majors and 27 minors.
