Even though there isn't much about Pedro's character, I think it could help writers with History and research.

“The cat will mew, and the dog will have his day” is a famous line from Shakespeare’s Hamlet. Along with mewing for the Danish Prince, there are over 30 references to cats in Shakespeare’s plays, attesting to the popularity of our favourite feline in the life of Elizabethan England.
Far from just being good mouse catchers, cats during the life of William Shakespeare were also profitable members of several economic industries including the work of medical apothecaries and the perfume industry.

This is a really entertaining video about how medieval people viewed women.
If you ever encounter a guy who tries to tell you that beauty standards have remained the same throughout history, watch a minute or so of this starting at about the 8 minute mark, and rock your pot belly.

Well, this is easily one of the most entertaining undirected discussion of history I've heard in a long time. I highly recommend it if you have an hour and need something to listen to.

History Hit (blegh) and Wired (also blegh) are both doing videos where experts* answer history questions from the dumbest high people on Twitter.
Surprisingly, Wired seems to find more knowledgeable people. The History Hit ones are all promos for the goons who do their Internet-polluting podcasts, and based on my amateur nerd opinion, every single one of them has said something wrong or failed to answer a basic question properly.
I get that this is History 101 stuff for people who "love history," but don't have time for books about it because they need to do sex or football or whatever. I shouldn't even be here. But these should at least give sound basic information.
Of course this Wired Greek one just featured a guy who said the Greek Alphabet is superior to all others because the invention of vowel letters makes literacy easier. No adult man who isn't wearing a red baseball cap should ever say something that embarrassing.
There are full college history lectures from reputable institutions on YouTube. Watch those. Then you'll learn whether Gladiator is an historically-accurate portrayal of Ancient Rome the serious way, by just knowing about the actual Ancient Rome (It isn't, by the way. It doesn't matter because it's fun and cool, but it is not in fact a documentary).
I could host one of these and do about as well. While I'd love to say that's because my giant brain is hot as shit*, I realize it is more because these aren't very good.

The stewards of the old world are always keen to give you a glimpse of their might... According to legend, the ancients built specialized chambers to seal away false prophets.
The Arcane is waking up.
