When Jay Mack first heard, "Captain," it was 2022, and the song was still incomplete. I initially sent him a rough draft of what Erich and I had recorded up to that point. Once he had the rough cut in his possession, he pressed me for a third verse as often as he could. I assured him I was working on one. He said, "Let me know when it's all done, I got an idea for it!"
Fast forward to 2024 and you get to witness that very concept from Jay, brought to life, in the manner in which he envisioned it. When him and Timmy Sramowitz sent me the image they were going to paint, I was speechless.
I had to reach out to Jimmy Giambrone, so he could capture this creative process at the Mural Maker studio in Toms River, NJ. Having Slimbo on set to shoot and edit this video was a must for all of us. His style of cinematography sets the scene like no other.
The mix-mastering Champ, Matty Horant, popped in to rhyme a few of his favorite scriptures. He plays a vital part of the masterpiece. He has mastered every song of ours for the past decade, not just this one. Here's a brother/audio engineer who's not in the spotlight or even out for the shine, yet keeps the vocals and instruments radio ready every time.
The day Erich 'Off The' Wald tailored the instrumental bed as I recorded the third verse was an unforgettable session. The additional chords he implemented. The organ. The dropouts. Everything fell into place/play perfectly, and we just knew we had something special. Those were the final adjustments made before the Field Day album was bounced/sent off for digital release/physical manufacturing.
This video is such a tremendous blessing to be able to present. To collaborate with Jay Mack and Timmy is a dream come true. To glorify the one Who gave us all of our talents and got us through ... that's just giving the credit where all the credit is due.

Stephon “Swerve” Strickland
A man who takes on the world and handles it at face value. He is so many things and juggles them pretty damn well.
I’m portraying Swerve as close to his “character” as one can. Of course he’s not breaking into anyone’s home but his mind and his values mirror his hard work. There’s no stopping this man when he sets his mind. He puts in that work. He also prefers it if people just called him Swerve. Only mama & papa strickland reserve the right to call him Stephon. Swerve likes anime, comic books, old school & current hip hop, binging Netflix, basically anything and everything music ( this man’s playlist is second to none, you’ll be surprised what’s on it ) art of any and all areas whether a painting in a gallery, mural on a wall, graffiti on the side of the train, writing, sketching… you get the idea. His favorite television shows range from crap reality shows to the Big Bang Theory, to the first 48 all the way to old school cartoons. He’s goofy, sarcastic, and a HUGE softie when it comes to animals. Hand this man something with 4 legs and you have him.
This portrayal is divorce, heterosexual, and a father of 3 beautiful angels ( one boy, two girls) . In respect for irl Swerve, if it’s posted on his IG or he’s actively talking about his children, I’ll go with the flow. Swerve has been single since March of 2024. If a ship happens, it will be organically. It won’t be rushed. It also won’t be a ship where they don’t argue, curse each other out, bicker, etc. drama with ships keep it fresh. it can be done. trust that.
I only have 1! connection established and it’s a flirtationship. All other connects are open for discussion and plotting. It’s best to reach me in messages if you don’t have my discord. I’ll give you my discord upon request but.. don’t be weird on there.

In this blog post, we will explore the evolution of street art in New York City, from its origins in graffiti to the modern-day murals that adorn the city's walls. Origins of Street Art in NYC: The roots of street art in New York City can be traced back to the 1960s and 70s when graffiti began to emerge as a form of expression. Graffiti artists used the city's walls and trains as their canvas, creating works of art that ranged from simple tags to elaborate murals. Graffiti was initially seen as a form of vandalism, and the city's authorities responded by cracking down on graffiti writers. However, this only served to fuel the graffiti movement, and it continued to grow in popularity. The Rise of Hip Hop Culture: The rise of hip hop culture in the 1980s had a significant impact on street art in New York City. Graffiti became an integral part of hip hop culture, with many artists using their tags to gain recognition and fame. Graffiti artists would often gather in subway yards to create their artwork, and the trains became a mobile gallery for their work. The Emergence of Street Art: In the 1990s, street art began to emerge as a new form of artistic expression in New York City. Street artists began to use a variety of mediums, including spray paint, stickers, and wheatpaste, to create their artwork. Street art was seen as a more accessible form of art than traditional art forms, and it quickly gained popularity among young people. Modern-Day Street Art in NYC: Today, street art has become a part of the cultural fabric of New York City. The city's walls are adorned with colorful murals and tags that showcase the diversity and creativity of its people. Street artists from around the world flock to New York City to showcase their work, and the city has become a global hub for street art. Many street artists have gained international recognition, and their work has been featured in galleries and museums. "New York City's cultural fabric: street art." The evolution of street art in New York City is a testament to the power of artistic expression. From its origins in graffiti to the modern-day murals that adorn the city's walls, street art has become a part of the city's cultural identity.
