Core Gems

So when a ghost becomes injured, they have a last ditch defense where they retreat into their core. And I mean, injured badly where their body is rip apart to the point they can’t hold a solid form anymore. And they basically go into a hibernation state until they are strong enough to form again.

Ellie, Danny, and Dan are all injured in a final battle against the GIW. The organization was destroyed and the ghosts were safe but the halfas ended up being so injured that they reverted to core form and then went to sleep for a bit. When they woke up, they were still weak but at least recovered enough to gain consciousness. And realize…they are in some kind of auction…in the middle of a heist. It appeared that two furries (one in a bat costume and one in a cat costume) were ducking it out. And they…they were a necklace. All three of them had been turned into a necklace with their cores as gems accompanied by sapphires, pearls, and opals. And frankly gorgeous craftsmanship as the metal was crafted around their cores as if to cradle them and the other gems.

Unfortunately, they were too weak to take a form properly, they could still feel the strain on their bodies. But at least they could still communicate through their auras. Then the cat lady punched a hole in the glass container surrounding them and grabbed their necklace.

However, the bat grabbed the other end and it resulted in a sort of tug-a-war. Meanwhile, Danny, Ellie, and Dan were having a back and form commentary on the situation and what they should do. Completely unheard by the other party.

In the corner of their eye, the three halfas finally noticed a third contender. Some kind of clown who was…hold on…holding a gun?! And it was pointed straight at the two fighting furies who had yet to notice him. The ghosts’ protective instincts went into overdrive and they frantically tried to shout, yell, move. Just do something to warn the two but their cries fell on deaf ears. All they succeeded in doing was faintly glow which immediatly caught the attention of the fighting duo. The two turned to look at the strange necklace but right at that moment, the clown fired and a gunshot rang throughout the auction room. Having no other options, Danny and the others poured every ounce of ectoplasm they had to try and phaseshift, making the two furries intangible as the bullets passed right through them, but in their shock, the two jumped away in opposite directions and accidentally ripped the necklace apart. Gems and pearls went flying and the three cores bounced along the ground.

Luckily, the two finally noticed the clown and went to deal with him and his minions who had appeared. Seemingly putting their fight on hold and forming a temporary truce. The three halfas could only watch as the battle finally wound down, ending with the cops barging into the place and arresting the clown and his grunts, the cat managing to escape with half the scattered gems and pearls from the broken necklace along with a few other jewelry pieces (none of their cores though) and the bat leaving through a skylight.

The auction continued and in the end, despite being broken, their necklace seemed to have caught someone’s interest. A man named Bruce Wayne bought up every piece of the shattered jewelry wear. The auctioneers appeared relived that the item managed to sell in the end and gratefully gave it to him.

Bruce had no idea what happened at the auction, but he could have sworn that some of the gems faintly glowed right before he and Selina were shot. If the necklace was some sort of magical item, then he needed to understand exactly what has been brought to Gotham. It was unfortunate that Selena had taken some parts of the necklace but he utilized his vast wealth to make sure all the other parts ended in his possession. Now he would take them back to the mansion for examination.

I started this last year so I'm really happy its finally finished ( T꒳T) 💕

This was originally supposed to have an accompanying Branch piece, but too much time passed between working on the two, and I ended up finishing Poppy first. To make their styles cohesive, I’d have to redo both but since this is already Poppy’s third version... you’re getting just Poppy.

I’ll probably create another piece featuring a pouncing Poppy, since I still love the startled Branch pose it was originally meant to pair with. Here are the sketches of it:

So I debated responding to this at all, but I thought it would be educational to explain how & why I knew this was bait.

I will not post the ask uncensored because I don't want to contribute to a smear campaign.

Ask is anon; it must be answered publicly, meaning my followers will all see it. Whoever is sending it is unwilling to stand behind the warning.

It's about a follower- not someone I've collabed with, or am friends with, just some random follower. I wasn't sent this bc of personal culpability or concern for my safety; I was sent this bc I am a large enough blog to guarantee attention.

The goal is that most people will not do that, they'll get this ask and go 'Well I don't want to dm... but better block them, better safe than sorry." This also conveniently means that if the callout is fabricated or has insubstantial proof (an almost sure bet or else they would've just.. linked it here), it won't be subject to much/any scrutiny.

"Surely these aren't the sort of people you want to share spaces with" Note how there's time for several sentences emphasizing how much proof they have of how evil this person is... but I have to dm someone to find out ANY specifics. No brief summary of previous crimes, no indication that I would need to be concerned for anyone's safety (including my own), just the implication that I wouldn't want to be near someone so gross.

Anyways, in conclusion: this ask isn't meant to keep anyone safe, it's meant to scare & drive out the person targeted by spreading vague distrust to as many people as possible. Hi Ziku, I'm the person who asked you the question about the mazercise in the VIP novel. First, thank you for responding to my random comment and second, don't worry, I like to see your opinion on these topics.

To give you context, the interactive VIP novel is released for the anniversary of the franchise and it is a canon novel since it happens long before the glamrocks were corrupted and it is the novel where as a glamrock chica fan I wanted to jump off a fifth floor since chica is given a little bit of prominence where the protagonist's little brother is a big fan of chica and I said at last chica will have a role in the boy by the way is called ikki because then I remembered that this is fnaf and that she will never have that honor that is why it was all chica she interacted very little with her fan besides that on top of that the mazercise did not even exist at that time and was never hers because originally that place belonged to monty (secondary character having the attraction of chica and mimi golf) and my heart ended up exploding to see that chica is genuinely the filler of the band overshadowed by roxy and freddy who in that novel does have a role in it again overshadowed by a murdered rabbit with too many fanboys and overshadowed by an alligator who hasn't earned things and everything is handed to him on a silver platter.

I apologize if you sense frustration in my comment. I don't want to do it on your blog or put you in a bad mood, but as a big fan of the chica, I share your frustration :(

It's like Bendy and the Ink Machine Chapter 5 all over again, where people KNEW Joey Drew was the Ink Demon from the get go, but by the time the reveal was FINALLY going to pay off with Chapter 5; they changed it at the last second for fucking "shock value", then pretending the whole thing was a red herring and "everything was planned from the beginning" ooooooooo!!!!! God I hate when everything is undone for shock value

NOT TO MENTION: SHE DIDN'T EVEN SPEAK UNTIL SHE BEGAN CHASING GREGORY, AND THE WAY SHE SPEAKS IS SO SIMILAR TO VANNY, AND THE UNUSED POSSESSED FREDDY VOICELINES FOR THE BURNTRAP BATTLE.

I'M FUCKING SHAKING and CRYING I'm getting frustrated all over again this is why I don't like talking about what they did to Chica post-Security Breach. Like, I'm certainly not the best theorist, but I can most definitely smell bullshit and know if things aren't exactly adding up.

I watched and listened to at least 4+ hours of Crimson Ruze's (of Holostars En) videos on Homestuck and popped out this piece.
