Hilma's Ghost (Dannielle Tegeder and Sharmistha Ray) — "Shake off your chains! You are attracted to the dark side, but channel The Devil to push you to greater heights. If you seek clarity, cut the etheric cords with anything that is not serving you in this moment. A golden passage lies on the other side of your self-doubt. Raise your sword up and retreat from the palace of illusion." (acrylic, flashe, and ink on canvas, 2023)

Calum grunted when he felt Hilma dig her nails into his back, although the sharp sensation did send a jolt of excitement up his spine. As he adjusted to her tight cunt, his tip only initially in her, Calum still growled and moaned nevertheless. He grinned as he met her gaze, pushing forward simultaneously to start filling her up properly, inch by inch. He’d already declared how much he loved her pussy, but with how gorgeously delightful it felt sinking into Hilma, Calum couldn’t resist adding, “God, your cunt’s like heaven…” before moans overtook his words, the grin remaining on his features. Hilma began dragging her nails along his back, the renewed sharpness making Calum cry out loudly and in delight. With Hilma also pressed her foot just under his ass, pushing him closer, Calum met her in kind, not stopping until he’d buried himself to the hilt inside her. He ghosted his lips against hers, eyes sparkling with mischief and lust. Kissing her in an embrace that swiftly turned heated, Calum began rolling his hips backwards, nearly pulling his cock all the way out of her but instead pushing right back inside for the first thrust of many.
@sarawritesx
His words brought an amused chuckle from her, teeth biting into the bottom lip all excitedly. "Glad you know who the boss here is..."the brunette couldn't help but tease him about it. A gasping moan broke free when he ripped her panties without much effort, the movements so sexy that she couldn't help herself but dig the tips of her nails into his back. Her back arched into him upon feeling the pressure of his tip against her tight cunt, making her moan in expectation. Big smile stretched across her lips upon hearing him declare just how much he loved her pussy, followed by a loud cry as he pushed inside of her. Nails dragged across his back, Hilma not being afraid to mark him. "Fuck, baby!"she groaned in pleasure, one of her legs folded in the knee so her foot was pressing just under his butt cheek, pushing him closer to her.

Introduction to Esoteric Astrology | Monkvyasa
What is esoteric astrology?
Esoteric Astrology is astrology that specialises in the soul. Esoteric astrology is concerned with defining our soul’s contribution to the evolution of humanity in the area of our unique outward character or what will happen to us in this lifetime. It is taught as a means of reconciling the soul and character. To acquire our most self and live with soul consciousness, esoteric astrologers say we want to move past our fabric nature, using our character as a device of soul expression in the area of the alternative way around. If this sounds a bit woo-woo, it genuinely is because it is. Theosophy, or the “New Age” movement of the past, late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, gave birth to esoteric astrology.
History of esoteric astrology
The Theosophical Society was founded in 1875 as a home for upper-elegance intellectuals who had superior mediumship capabilities and were eager to find out about esotericism. Consider séances and Hilma Af Klint’s artwork. Along with Alice Bailey, the founder of esoteric astrology, Rudolf Steiner and Helena Blavatsky have been major members of the movement.
Alice Bailey’s five-quantity A Treatise on the Seven Rays, which she claimed to have channelled through her disembodied religious teacher, DK, codified esoteric astrology (read: a ghost). “Certain subjects I may additionally say will in all likelihood be seemed as revolutionary, or as erroneous, as unbelievable or unprovable with the useful resource of the usage of the educational and uninspired astrologer,” she writes withinside the introduction.
She is aware that her teachings are contentious and her delivery is untrustworthy—expect Instagram-well-known-crystal-healer vibes. Her teachings have been carried forward into the modern era with the useful resource of the artwork of Alan Leo (the particular sun sign horoscope writer) and modern intellectual astrologer Dane Rudhyar.
How is esoteric astrology different from the astrology I know?
The biggest significant distinction between esoteric astrology and modern intellectual astrology of sun sign horoscopes (and all of the one memes) is the usage of planetary rulers. The rulers of the signs and signs shake down like this in modern astrology:
Aries – Mars | Taurus – Venus | Gemini – Mercury | Cancer – Moon | Leo – Sun | Virgo – Mercury | Libra – Venus | Scorpio – Mars, Pluto | Sagittarius – Jupiter | Capricorn – Saturn | Aquarius – Saturn, Uranus | Pisces – Jupiter, Neptune
However, because of reality, esoteric astrology is all about transcending our nature and discovering our higher purpose within the collective (aka, manifesting our great existence similar to the great effects on the rest of the world). The planetary rulers reflect each sign’s higher octave or more calling. In esoteric astrology, each sign has an exoteric planetary ruler who knows the sign’s herbal outer expression, similarly to an esoteric planetary ruler who is The sign’s religious side. The exoteric rulers are much like in modern intellectual astrology, but the esoteric planetary rulers are very inside the subsequent ways:
Aries – Mercury | Taurus – Vulcan* | Gemini – Venus | Cancer – Neptune | Leo – Sun** | Virgo – Moon | Libra – Uranus | Scorpio – Mars** | Sagittarius – Earth | Capricorn – Saturn** | Aquarius – Jupiter | Pisces – Pluto
What can I research from an esoteric analysis of my chart?
We now understand that esoteric astrology differs drastically from modern intellectual astrology. It’s a complex device with murky origins, and now no longer like traditional sorts of astrology, working towards it necessitates studying the jargon language of “esoteric” and “exoteric” rulers, the seven rays, and soul consciousness. This sort of astrology, which specialises in the collective in the area of the individual, does not count on lifestyle activities or provide heat takes on the character. An esoteric chart analysis specialises in transformation and the way to better understand our soul. That’s a lifelong process.
Bottom line
Esoteric astrology is concerned with who we are coming to be in the area of who we are.

Art history mythology: the invention of abstraction in the presence of ghosts (part 1)
"Why Have There Been No Great Women Artists?" Linda Nochlin asked this question in 1971 and somehow we are stealing with it. Fashion label Dior found the question pressing enough to print in on a t-shirt for its 2018 spring collection. We might wonder why we care about this question. We already know the answer: historically women were excluded from education, spaces and platforms that were vital to achieving the idea of greatness that history connects to artists like Carravagio, Michelangelo or Picasso. Men can be seen as responsible for this exclusion, but more importantly, they are also responsible for creating the idea of a great artist. Essentially, being a great artist means being considered one on male term. And that is a hurdle that few woman can really pass. Why should we try?
Instead, art historians are slowly considering a rewriting of historical narratives. This rewriting is no longer oriented at celebrating the creations of a few exclusive induviduals operating a strict sphere of what western society deems artistic. Instead, this rewriting decentralisez. It takes into account craft art such as lace or embroidery that are historically granted a lower status than painting or sculpture (usually out of sexist, classist or racist ideology). Importantly, art history should stop being a history of a few great (white) men and start becoming a history of art production, in all senses of the word. This rewriting means rejecting the mythology erected by men, in order to see that art production is a diverse, deeply personal craft that can derrive from all kinds of places.
In a series of essays I’d like to look at this strange mythology, and try to debunk its myths. We will start with one of the most pointless but lingering myths in early 20th century art: the invention of abstractionism.
Sometime in 1911, Russian painter Vasilly Kandinsky painted his first abstract painting. Nothing about this date can be said with any certainty. Similar to other early abstract artists like Robert Delauney or Kazimir Malevich, he had a tendency to predate his artworks. Still, Kandinsky often commemorated this moment as the invention of abstract art: a defining moment for modernism. Kandinsky’s legacy was defended aggressively by his wife after his death in 1946. She collected a team of art historians to prove her husband’s legacy. They never had to prove her right: Kandinsky’s invention of abstractionism is included in many art history classes and books. Most overview works will name him as the affectionately named ‘father’ of non-representative art, although he is no longer necessarily called the inventor of abstractionism.
The invention of abstractionism is a race that started far after the finishing line. The reality is that neither Kandinsky, Delauney nor Malevich invented abstractionism. The oldest known artistic expressions of mankind are little geometric patterns in stones and seashells. In fact, the first drawings you yourself once made as a young child were probably representative of nothing. The difference between your drawings and Kandinsky’s paintings is really only the fact that we would call the former random scribbles, while we call the latter an abstract painting.
But even when we look at Western contemporary art, at works by people who were themselves concerned with making paintings and even exhibiting them in the traditional sense, there is still a group of painters that manage to predate Kandinsky quite a bit. All of these painters were female, and they were never completely accepted by the artistic mainstream. The earliest artist discussed, Georgiana Houghton, lost a large chunk of her money in trying to exhibit her works, only to be ridiculed by contemporary art critics. The younger, and nowadays more widely known Hilma af Klimt, was completely rejected by the anthroposophist Rudolf Steiner. Deciding that the world was not ready for paintings, she stopped exhibiting.
Both women would never have called their own works ‘abstract’ in the sense of Kandinsky or Malevich. And both women never met. But they were both deeply spiritual, and they both connected their artworks directly with a higher power: they created art that came not entirely from their own minds, but from an inspiration given by ghosts and ancient entities.
Georgiana Houghton Georgiana Houghton was born in Gran Canaria in 1815, but lived in England for most of her life. We know next to nothing about her childhood. She never married and lived in her parents’ house until their deaths in the 1860s. Houghton became strongly involved with spiritualism in 1859, after a seance were a medium contacted her death sister, but she always remained a devoted Christian, claiming spiritualism to be a ‘gift of god’. She started training to become a medium herself and started using a planchette, a kind of heart-shaped wooden tablet used in automated writing, that can be seen as a predecessor to the Ouija board.
Houghton and her ghosts in 1882. Houghton became quite controversial when late in life she collaborated with Fredrick Hudson, a notorious ghost photographer.
Via a cousin, Houghton came into contact with medium Elisabeth Wilsons ‘spirit drawings’, drawings that were executed in the hand of Wilsons death son’s ghost. This interested Houghton, because her deceased sister had been a prolific artists. She attempted to draw in her sisters hand, which failed, but she succeeded in channeling the ghost of a deaf and blind man called Lenny. Using her automatic planchette, she started creating art automatically, guided by the spirit she channeled. Her technique developed throughout her career. After she stopped using a planchette, she also started introducing colors. Houghton never claimed authorship of her artworks, calling the process of their creation. Intentionally or not, for a woman in a position like Houghton, these claims enabled her to create some incredibly radical artworks without being condemned for stepping out of line.
On the back of ‘”The Eye of God” Houghton made a typical planchette-drawing and did an automatic writing on the paintings meaning. The back claims that this work was inspired by the ghost of renaissance painter Correggio.
Houghtons paintings were never entirely without representation. The spirits would usually guide her in automatic writing, enabling her to write down the explanations of works. Colors were strongly imbued with symbolic meaning and sometimes a representation was sought within the drawings. In 1871, Houghton decided to exhibit 25 of her paintings in a gallery in London. Although some viewers expressed great admiration of the work, the serious art critics were not the biggest fan of this strange occult women. Needless to say, Houghton did not end up in the art historical canon. She died in 1984, penniless and largely forgotten.
When we look at Houghtons work today, it looks strikingly modern and quite beautiful. These works were not painted by an untrained artists, but by someone with experience, who knew what she was doing. It is difficult to say how much Houghton believed in her own sayings, but creating art definitely had a spiritual meaning for her. It was something she let happen to her, a depiction of an experience, rather than a representation. The early works of Kandinsky, in their pure brightness, remind me of Houghton. There is also some William Blake, and a lot of 70s psychedelia. At first glance, it is hard to believe that these works were painted in the 1860s, when nothing like this had ever been done before.

Looking back on 2019 I decided to list a handful of political / alternative news websites rather than films, albums or books. In the UK the corporate media stooped to shocking new lows during our recent General Election campaign. Such dirty tactics are to be expected of conglomerates owned by the likes of Rupert Murdoch and his fellow right wing billionaires but this time around, previously ‘liberal’ outlets such as the BBC and Guardian also fully participated in the outrageous lies, smears and character assassination against the leader of the opposition Labour Party. The British population were now being forced fed the Establishment’s propaganda du jour from every possible direction. Personally I try to gather my information from as many alternative outlets as possible to contrast with the 24 hour corporate brainwashing we’re subjected to these days. I’ve listed just five sites from the dozens I regularly visit and although I certainly don’t agree with everything expressed on these sites I do feel that it essential that in supposed free and democratic societies we are at least exposed to a variety of viewpoints and opinions - rather than being trapped inside social media echo chambers in an Internet that is increasingly controlled and censored by sophisticated algorithms and where politically correct digital lynch mobs accuse anyone with an opinion that contradicts the official narrative of being a Russian agent! Anyway, a Happy New Year to you all and here’s hoping 2020 sets the new decade off in roaring style!

2019 was far from my favorite year. Regardless, I managed to release not one, but two new double albums by The Flying Luttenbachers (as well as two European tours with the unit) in addition to the usual slew of improvised music gigs and releases, and co-ordinating and producing an archival release of vintage NYC weirdness (Ozone). I also rocked Mexico City with Lydia Lunch Retrovirus, played a ridiculous gig with Encenathrakh, and disbanded Cellular Chaos (for now, at least).
When I become obsessed (or re-obsessed with something), it usually leads to a ton of proselytizing Facebook status posts. Combing my 2019 posts, it seems that my musical obsessions this year weren't very highbrow. Ha ha ha. Yes, I'm super into Xenakis, Cecil Taylor and whatever else, but dumber music can supply great creature comfort, and I guess I needed that in large amounts, so that's what it was. Sometimes badass modernists have to take time out to stay in bed all day and read comics because it's a hard cold world out there.
Weasel Walter top 10 musical obsessions of 2019 1. Kid Creole and the Coconuts (1980-1985 era) 2. Redd Kross 3. The Saints "I'm Stranded" 4. Jane Aire and the Belvederes 5. Miles Davis 1972-1975 6. Khanate "Things Viral 7. Mandy Zone & Ozone "Live at Max's Kansas City 1981" 8. Mayhem "Grand Declaration of War" 9. Comedy Bang Bang Episode #554 w/ Middleditch, Sanz 10. Weezer "Pinkerton"
