“Tell the spymaster I’ll get her those contacts in a few days,” Hildegard told the messenger, arms crossed as she looked up at the man. Her dark blue gaze could make anyone falter in their step and it was a surprise the man was holding up so well. He looked nervous enough as it is. “Now, I lose my patience.” With that, he was gone.

Hildegard shook her head, watching him rush off before motioning over the Inquisitor.

“The key point is to make them think you’ll actually do something,” she told her with a smirk. “Then they’ll be sure to do whatever you need of them.” She sat down on the bench outside the tavern, motioning for Talathiel to join her.

“What can I do for you, then? Need some black market goods Varric thinks he can get but I can get at a better rate?” It was a friendly jest, nothing more.
