My daughter is struggling with fitting in at her high school. It's been an awful year for her. It's gotten so bad that she was recently diagnosed with major depression and anxiety on top of her ADHD. She said she's known as the loner. It truly breaks my heart and I myself am struggling to understand because I have always been that tough love mom.

Well she's been home sick the last couple of days and was going thru my high school notes binder saying she wished high school was still like this. Maybe I wouldn't be struggling this bad but kids aren't into this kind of stuff anymore. They would just make fun of me or think I'm even more weird...

Hearing her talk about how awful high school is and how everyone just judges you, laughs at you, only talk to people they like simply breaks my heart and makes me wonder what the world is coming to. Why are kids like this nowadays? Do parents even realize who their kids really are and how they really act?
