Well Crystal Dynamics is releasing a Remaster of the first 3 original Core Design Tomb Raiders, on Lara’s birthday too which is a nice touch.

Looks like it’s just a retexture and character model overhaul, her guns are even accurately modeled to the Browning HiPowers she wielded in the box art. So you don’t have to rely on mods anymore and you can play this on console. Though there are some pretty good mods out there.

Seriously, the mods. My favorite being Winston carrying Lara on her lounge chair, and there’s even one that allows you to play co-op with multiple Lara’s.

Just wish they did a full on remaster like Sony did with Crash and Spyro, but eh. I’m not complaining.

Ah, so the Croat importation company passing itself off as "True Blue Murican Made" has expanded to snagging reject HiPowers off the Ottomans. Still a hunk of shit that chokes consistently on any ammo you feed it and has finish applied with a rattlecan in the cold. Whereas I can throw a stick and find a CZ product in regular use with solid fit and finish. Never mind the platform itself not receiving that much development compared to its big brother the 1911 so if you want a proper Hi-Power that is reliable-ish made by a reputable manufacturer to bring to modern spec you're gonna have to get comfy putting optics cuts into milsurp and antiques.
