After convincing another sibling to join the Alliance, Anock sends a holopic back home to remind her family the great sith family legacy is one step closer to collapse.
This would be the first time they see Rederah and Ezrayl in over a decade, both being assumed dead.

Three Floors to Go
First fic I’ve ever really done so enjoy! It’s not been proofed in any way, and I am by no means a writer, but my brain woke up today and craved family drama so here it is.
TW: abuse, death.

Three more floors to go.
Anock paced nervously around the lift, the journey down felt like it was taking an eternity. The other Aeriss siblings exchanged looks. They had only been together for about twenty minutes, and already things were going south. For better or worse, their parents decided not to engage in the drama and were sitting happily in their condo above.
The final ding sounded and before the doors could open all the way Anock forced her way through and out into the cold wet jungles of Dromund Kaas. Even from the lift the whirring of lightsabers could be heard.
Anock raced towards the noise, her heart pounding. She knew coming here was a bad idea, but deep down inside she had always dreamed of reuniting with her siblings. She couldn’t resist the opportunity and now they were all going to pay the price. Anock reached a muddy clearing and stopped. In the middle was her brother Ezrayl and sister Heryn toe to toe in combat.
“Ezrayl!” She shouted toward them.
“Stop, this you’ll get killed!”
She started forward but he shot her a look, freezing her in her tracks. Rederah, Murcir, and Crayle finally caught up, and stood around Anock, watching the commotion. A mixture of feelings washed over them, fear, excitement, and confusion. While they all had problems with Heryn, she was a nightmare to deal with, Ezrayl’s reaction upon seeing her at the condo was more than they expected, especially from him.
“Put the monster down!” Rederah called to him, she seemed to be the least bothered by the situation and was even grinning.
Heryn screamed with rage and shot lighting at Ezrayl, shoving him back several feet. He groaned as he attempted to hold of the blast, but he could feel her pushing through. With one last great shove, he forced the lighting back, causing Heryn to lose balance for just a second. That second was all he needed, and Ezrayl lunged forward, pinning Heryn to the ground. He held her there, panting heavily as she smiled up at him.
“What are you going to do now brave little Jedi? Finish me off?” She sneered.
Ezrayl glared down at her, his hands around her neck tightening.
“I should, for what you’ve done to us” he growled.
“What are you doing? Are you insane?” Crayle interjected, stepping forward.
Anock and Rederah followed, circling Ezrayl and Heryn.
“Do you know what she’s done? How much pain she has caused us?” Ezrayl shot back, his hands tightening even more.
“I was making you strong, without me you all would be nothing!” Heryn wheezed.
“Shut up!” Anock spat, instinctively rubbing the scar on her face, a gift from Heryn’s strength training.
“Let her go, she’s still our sister” Crayle said, folding his arms.
“She killed our sister.” Ezrayl muttered, turning back to Heryn, his voice cracking.
There was a deep silence, Ezrayl of course had to be referring to their dead sister Wynro. Everyone knew he had been there when she died, but he had never spoken about it until now.
“She killed Wynro?” Rederah asked, a coldness had crept into her voice now, this had become a much more serious situation.
“She hired the mercenaries who attacked our ship.” Ezrayl replied, he loosening his grip on Heryn as he became overwhelmed with memories of the event.
“I had to be the best; you know our parents, the pressure they put on me. You were competition I needed to eliminate.” Heryn sputtered as air filled her lungs.
“That doesn’t mean you get to kill us off” Murcir said softly.
“We are family, not random acolytes on Korriban.”
Ezrayl’s eyes blurred, he let go of Heryn’s neck and wiped his eyes.
“You were always the weak one” Heryn snickered.
Ezrayl looked down at his sister, and suddenly his saber was at her neck, his eyes glowing yellow with rage.
“Do it!” She laughed.
“Don’t, this isn’t you!” Anock pleaded.
Heryn smiled up at her younger brother, his pain reflecting in his eyes.
“I don’t think you can.”
A flash of light burst from behind and Heryns body went limp. Ezrayl turned to see Rederah, with a smoking blaster in hand.
“I can.”
 --
The silence on the lift back up to the condo was of a different kind, almost deafening. They had left her there, in the forest. No one could bare to bring her back up with them. Ezrayl couldn’t look at Rederah, who seemed unbothered by the event.
“She had a family, a child” Crayle said, shattering the silence.
“Then we should have gotten to her sooner.” Rederah remarked dryly.
“Who knows the horrors she’s inflicted on them.”
