Khidirpore - a dock area, a river area has been a seafarers region and because of this it faces the burnt of World War 2 attacks. This seafarers church built by the British navy bears testimonial to that. It's housed inside a school & college and is one of the earliest British churches of India. It was an army orphanage school which served as medical center during world war 2. Seamen's tales are etched all over this quaint church which some beautiful epitaph writings. This is how imagined churches back in time - old, comforting and desolate.
