🌷What got you into witchcraft?🌷

O boy. I hope this makes sense and doesn't sound too jumbled. I've always been really interested in fantasy worlds and magic. Fairies to be more precise. I read all the fairy books I could get my hands on, whether it was Disney or folk tales.

I saw figures and strange outlines of colors all around me wherever I looked. I asked people if this was normal and they'd chalk it up to me being a kiddo. They frightened me greatly, but some weren't as scary as others.

I watched old fantasy films like the Dark Crystal and the Labyrinth whenever I could. I would sit outside and sing and dance for fairies and made offerings to them, and even made actual shields that are commonly used in witchcraft without knowing I was doing anything accurately.

Once I got into the fifth grade, I quit voicing my interest in magic and stories, because I was made fun of for it. I stopped talking about the things I saw everywhere and forced myself to learn to see through them.

Then, a couple years later, I downloaded Tumblr. I saw something witchy pop up on my dash so I followed the topic. At first, I thought it was a joke. Once I did some more diving, I found that I agreed with most things witches were saying and decided to give it a go but v reluctantly. I did sigils first, then energy work, wards etc. Took me a couple months to feel like myself again and push through all my doubt.
