Here’s some Afuro Terumi and his Zeus folks headcanons ‘cause these characters deserve more attetion and Terumi is my little baby and I love him

He have an older sister (I name her Sun-Hee) who love and takes care of her baby brother as if her life depended on it (for her it does)

His mom is Korean and his dad Japanese

That said, he never met his dad nor know who he is

The jerk left his mom the moment he knew she was pregnant beacuse “if it was not enough for me to have to put up with your daughter, now I have to deal with a baby too?! I don’t want that! Is not my fault if you got pregnant.”

Not that Terumi mind, he rather never have a dad than know who that jerk is

Before you ask, his dad is not his sister’s dad, she is from his mom’s previous marriage, which wasn’t going well so she got a divorce and left Korea with her five years old daugther for good

Two years later, Terumi was born

When Terumi was a kid, his sister would wake up really early, make him breakfast and walk him to school because their mom had woke up earlier to work

Due to all the work to be able to sustain and raise properly her two kids, plus the sadness and frustation for both her romantic relationships gone wrong she is a pretty distant and not good with emotions person and bad mother,  but she tries her best everyday and she love her kids

Terumi met Hera, Aporo, Hepai, Arute, Atena, Demete, Ika, Medo (these two are from the games) Hadeno, Heruse and the Posei brothers between the kindergarten and the first two years of primary school

He met the others somewhere between the last year of primary school and the first year of middle school

Hera and Aporo are his best friends btw

They would always hang out and go to adventures together (and Sun-Hee always had to babysit them)

(prepare yourselves, major angst ahead) When Terumi was around 12 years old, things in his house were pretty bad: his mom had just lost her job, his sister was in her first year in college (for what? Idk yet but she didn’t need to pay for it ‘cause she received a scholarship) and had to work hard which kept her away from home most of the day

However, at first Terumi thounght it was good ‘cause he could spend more time with his mom and his sister didn’t need to worry about him so much but he was wrong

Miss Afuro (idk how to name her) already had depression at this point of her life and losing her job only made it worse, she started smoking a lot, like really a lot, a pack of cigarettes per day to be precise.

In one of her really bad days, after she picked Terumi from school, she tells him that dinner is on the fridge and to leave her alone for a while

Usually, Terumi would obey but that day he really wanted to do something with his mom to maybe cheer her up, so before she goes to her room he tugs her clothes to draw her attetion

“Mom, don’t you wanna have dinner with me?”

“Not now Terumi.”

“Why?”

“Mom really need some time alone”

“You always say that! Why don’t eat with me? We can talk about my day in school and maybe watch a movie. Oh! We could call Sun-Hee later and ask her to bring that cake you like-

“OH MY GOD SHUT UP!!!

“Wha-”

“I SAID SHUT UP, YOU STUPID SHITTY BRAT! OH MY FUCKING GOD OF ALL DAYS YOU DECIDED TO BE EXTRA ANNOYING TODAY?! REALLY??!! YOU ALWAYS OBEY WHEN I SAY TO LEAVE ME ALONE! THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU??! The moment she realizes what she just said, that she just threw all her anger and frustation in her 12 yeas old son, is too late. Terumi is in tears, when she tries to get closer and apologize, he run away and lock himself in his room.

He only comes out about one hour later, when Sun-Hee is already home

She explains that mom didn’t mean to hurt him, she just needs help (which they can’t aford)

The next day, Terumi is playing soccer on his own, when a man approaches him. He immediatly recognizes the man as Kageyama Reiji, the couch of Teikoku Gakuen

Long story short he says Terumi is a great player and ask him to go to Zeus Gakuen next year (which he knows is a really good and rather expansive school because some of his friends study there).Terumi says his family can’t afford, Kageyama say that he don’t need to worry about money and that he can even help him with any financial problems.

Terumi accept. The rest is story

So in the GO games the characters have their years by their names and other info and I find that pretty interesting?? I don’t think the games prior to the GO ones had the years on the character mini profile. I tend to forget who is in what year sometimes and the ina11 wiki doesn’t have their years listed (I think). Anyway, if you’re curious about who is in what year/grade here’s a (long) list of inazuma characters. It mostly contains GO characters but since you can recruit some characters from the original series I added them on here to.

Not every character has a year, some are labeled ??? or ADULT (Akizora Challengers/Golden Oldies team). Most of the aliea characters are under ??? and Toramaru is to (but we all know he’s younger so-). Also, these are only from Light/Shadow.
