Nicholas Hely Hutchinson 🇬🇧
Artist from Dorset. He was initially influenced by Dufy and Matisse, but also drew on the English tradition of neo-romanticism. He settled near Blandford, Dorset, and the countryside of that county and Wiltshire, and his subjects included horse racing, interiors and still lifes. He attended Harrow School, St Martin's School of Art and Bristol Polytechnic. It is represented in the Government Art Collection. Hutchinson is the third son of the 8th Earl of Donoughmore, an old Irish family.
