The Abilities of a Pyro-Guitarist

Aspect: Helena is a vessel of the heart, and thus, her abilities are influenced by her emotions. The more emotional she is, the more powerful she will become but at the cost of losing control of her own abilities.

Resonance: This allows Helena summons a guitar made out of pure soul energy. When she plays the guitar, the sound waves are infused with her emotions and makes the listener feel whatever she's feeling at the moment. The guitar can also be used as a weapon to bash things open and inflict damage via blunt force trauma to those that oppose her. However, she does not seem to use it for that purpose often, as we have observed.

Warm Passion: When comfortable or happy, Helena's body starts to heat up to a level higher than a human's natural body temperature. This temperature while high is not painful to be around as is in fact comparable to that of a heating pad. She uses this heat to provide warmth in cold situations and express her gratitude to the people around her. This one of her many, as we call it, phases of heat she has and is the safest one to encounter.

Boiling Rage: The second phase of heat, Boiling Rage, is when the pyro-guitarist becomes dangerous. Helena's blood begins to boil inside her, heating up her vessel to a degree that is painful to the touch. The wounds on her body reopen and spill out thick crimson steam that, when inhaled, causes the inflicted to lose their minds slowly. If her blood spills, the droplets themselves are hot and will leave burn marks on anything they hit. This phase is a warning to those who see. Run, do not engage further, and risk escalation with her.

Hellfire of Scorn: What are you doing? Who is we? I see no one else here but you. Why are you writing about me like I'm some sort of demon that needs to be avoided and right in front of me no less. I mean, did you really think I wasn't aware of what you were scribbling down in that little sheet of yours? Don't worry, though, I'm not mad. It would be hypocritical of me to be so considering the fact I have my own notebook filled with observations about people I barely know, so I'll help you. This "phase," as you call it, is extremely deadly to be around. My body becomes unbearably hot to the touch and practically threatens to light those foolish enough to touch me on fire. Crimson flames burst out of my wounds and burns everything that comes too close to cinders. Everywhere I walk, a trail of hellfire and destruction follows. No one is safe from these flames, not friends, not family and especially not strangers. But don't worry, dear researcher, I rarely get like this, and when I do, it doesn't last long. If survival is what you seek here, then just don't cross my path while I'm like this, okay :).

Extra: I might as well help you with this section too while I'm here. To start off, my body's rising heat doesn't really affect me. I get no fever, and I don't melt into a pile of skin and muscle. However, I do go through something called essence burnout when I exit one of my angered states. My body gets weak, and sometimes I pass out; it is quite dreadful. I also don't feel any pain from my own fire and can control the blood red flames quite easily. Though if I'm mad, don't expect the best control. Despite these immunities, actual fire still hurts me, though not as much as it would hurt other people. Also, my fire is not true fire. It is made of essence and cannot be dealt with through normal means. Water is useless unless it's infused with essence and smothering it will just cause it to spread even more. It really only stops when I want it to. Isn't that amazing :)? Anyways, I hope you got the information you wanted, researcher, and please don't be afraid of me. I know my abilities are quite deadly, but I wouldn't hurt a fly, honest. Goodbye now and be careful with who you observe; not all are as understanding of this practice as me.

Some possible Helena redesigns. I've been thinking about giving my autistic girl some longer strands because it might fit her moody rockstar aesthetic a bit better. Also, been doing some reworking on her backstory and personality because I want to make her a little bit more unhinged. The little internet drama she was in during her high school years gave her some pretty bad scars, both mentally and physically. Unrestricted internet access also fucked her up but in a different, much more suggestive way. Anyways, I'll be working more on her universe and stuff in the coming posts (I still haven't come up with a name for this series. Can you believe it?), so stay tuned, I guess.

(Tried to some digital painting with this one; I hope it came out decent. I'm not the best at painting but I wanted to try something different and painting pretty fun to do in general).

Helena Evagon the Young Guitarist

Additional information: She is a neet; she hasn't gone to college yet due to mental health reasons. When she was 17, she got into some pretty bad internet drama which led to her band disbanding and one of her friends ghosting her. She has been playing the guitar since she was in elementary school and her band was formed in the 9th grade. She has a nice, soft voice that's good for emotional songs, but not good for screamo or death metal. She's not the best artist but she likes drawing regardless.

Abilities: Her essence is that of the heart, she uses a cool ass soul guitar that she pulls out of her chest to manipulate the emotions of other or physically affect their bodies. She can also use it to bash people's heads in.

(One of the many characters I've been working on for the past couple of weeks. I like her a whole lot and I hope you guys like her too. I cannot wait to share more of her universe because there are like so many other characters that I want to show off and stuff, so stay tuned for more character references.
