𐔌 . ⋮ Sukuna was not pleased. Not one bit.

When you came back from visiting your friend, he noticed the new scent immediately. His sharp nose picked up the lingering traces of another cat—a very smug, content housecat, if he had to guess. His four tails swished, his ears flattened slightly, and he let out a low, irritated growl as you walked through the door, blissfully unaware.

“Kitty...!” You greeted him, setting down your things, but as soon as he came closer to sniff you, he froze, his eyes narrowing.

“What’s this?” he grumbled, his voice thick with annoyance as he took a step back, eyeing you with a mix of suspicion and hurt.

You blinked, a little confused. “What do you mean?”

“That scent,” he growled lowly. “It’s another cat. You’ve been spending time with someone else’s… pet?”

You had to stifle a laugh, but his intense glare made you think twice about teasing him. “It was just a friend’s cat, I was taking care of him for a bit.”

He scoffed, folding his arms with an air of indignant pride. “And what about me, hmm? Don’t I need someone to take care of me too?”

Sukuna’s tails flicked in agitation as he watched you carefully, crimson eyes holding onto a strange vulnerability. It was almost endearing to see him like this, all pouty and annoyed.

“Of course you do, Sukuna.” You smiled, stepping closer to him, reaching out to scratch behind his ears. His ears twitched, and despite himself, he leaned into your touch, his fur bristling as he grumbled, “You’d better not smell like that again.”

You chuckled, giving him a little kiss on the nose.

The slightest pink colored his cheeks, and, with a huff, he finally settled, nudging his head into your hands again, this time letting out a small, contented rumble .ᐟ ֹ ₊ ꒱
