You Are Already Saved
Today's inspiration comes from:
The Weekly Self-Care Project
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." — John 3:16 NKJV
"Tuck God’s truths away in your heart. Holding on to those promises and thinking about them every day is a form of self-care that should not be underestimated. The truth is that God loves you so much He sent His only Son to die for you. Even when you feel overwhelmed, reminding yourself how deeply and unconditionally you are loved will help. This truth allows you to take a few deep breaths, slow down, and let God’s love for you surround you with comfort and peace.
Prioritize quiet time with your Father this week, and explore some of His other promises:
Joshua 1:9 Isaiah 26:3 Philippians 4:7 John 15:7 Mark 13:11 Romans 8:28 2 Corinthians 7:6 Psalm 116:5-6 James 1:2-3 Deuteronomy 33:27 Genesis 15:1 James 4:8 Hebrews13:5
Which of those promises is your favorite? Why?
Which of those promises have you already seen fulfilled in your life?
Tuck God’s truths away in your heart.
Talk to God
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. — Colossians 4:2
Maybe you pray when things are tough, and you pray a little less when life feels easy and it’s going your way. But your relationship with God will flourish when you talk to Him like a friend. God doesn’t just want a laundry list of your accomplishments or failures for the day. He wants to hear how you’re feeling, what is worrying you, what you’re dreaming about, and any other little thing on your mind. The more you open your heart up to Him, the more you will feel His peace and His presence in your life.
How often do you talk to God?
What do you usually pray about?
What’s something that you don’t usually talk to God about that has been burdening you? How can you start sharing that with Him?
Listen to God
The LORD will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. — Isaiah 58:11
Prayer is only half of what it means to have a conversation with God. If you spend all of your time talking, you miss out on the things God is trying to tell you or show you in return. Sometimes caring for your spiritual health is about being still and listening for God. He often works in ways that are mysterious, but His ways are not your ways. When God “speaks” to you, it may be subtle, like guiding you toward specific people or nudging you to read a verse in the Bible. Listening to God might mean paying attention to the things on the path before you.
The more time you can spend listening to and paying attention to God’s presence, the easier it will be to notice those little internal nudges from the Holy Spirit that steer you away from a certain choice or prompt you to go talk to a stranger.
Spend quiet time today just breathing and listening for His voice.
Is being still and listening already part of your prayer life?
If not, how can you start adding in this practice?
Have you ever heard or felt a reply from God when praying? How did it make you feel?"

Praise the Lord! Welcome you all in Jesus name. It's time for today's word ministration
Let us Pray: Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we give you glory, honor and the praise for you are worthy. Thank you for the breath of life and this wonderful time you enabled me to share your word. May you Lord open our spiritual eyes so that we may see you, open up our spiritual hearts to receive your word and our spiritual ears to hear what you want us to hear and do according to your Will. In Jesus name, I pray Amen
Topic - KINGDOM LIVING
The day we accepted Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Savior, there was a great change in authority. We have been delivered from Satan’s dominion/rulership/headship and we are now under a whole new authority – that of the Lord Jesus. As a believer begins growing in his new life in the Lord, he soon discovers that the only way we enjoy living in God’s kingdom is in right RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS.
Ephesians 1:17 - that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,
Philippians 3:10 - that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,
At the very beginning of our new life with God, this relationship takes two distinct forms:
1. Savior
2. Lord
1. Savior: This is the very first relationship we can have with Jesus. We cannot know God as Father or Friend until we first have a revelation of Jesus as Savior – the one who died for us and rescued us from Satan’s kingdom.
a. Jesus saved us from God’s Judgment:
1 Thessalonians 1:10 - and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.
1 Thessalonians 5:9 - For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Romans 5:9 - Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
The above verses tell us that it is Jesus who has saved us from the wrath of God and the impending judgment.
b. Jesus saved us from Satan’s power:
Acts 26:18 – to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’
Colossians 1:13 - He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
(Also read Hebrews 2:14; 1 John 3:8).
c. Jesus saved us from Our Own Selves:
Philippians 3:19 - whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things.
2 Corinthians 5:15 -and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.
1 Peter 1:18 - knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers,
(See also Titus 3:3-6; Hebrews 2:10; 2 Timothy 1:10)
2. Lord: The second distinct form of relationship is “LORD”.Knowing Jesus as Savior brings us into God’s kingdom, but that is not where our relationship with Him ends.
Once we are inside His Kingdom, that relationship takes on dramatic new changes. Now we know Him not merely as Savior but as Lord – OUR LORD! He is King in His Kingdom.
Colossians 2:6 - As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,
1 Corinthians 12:3 – Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.
Also see John 13:13; Romans 1:4; 1 Corinthians 8:6; 1 Corinthians 4:5.
When we enter the Kingdom of Light, we can enjoy what we are created for – a loving relationship with the Lord. Because of this, when Jesus becomes Lord of our life, we find that his dominion in our lives brings us out of the chaos of sin into divine order and peace.
When we enter the Kingdom of Light, we can enjoy what we are created for – a loving relationship with the Lord. Because of this, when Jesus becomes Lord of our life, we find that his dominion in our lives brings us out of the chaos of sin into divine order and peace.
Colossians 2:9 – For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;
1 Corinthians 8:6 - yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.
Jesus, though King of the Kingdom, became a servant. He is the example of what the true citizen of His Kingdom is like.
Philippians 2:5 - Let this mind (attitude) be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,
John 13:13-15 - You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am. 14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. 15 For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.
Read also John 13:5-17; Mathew 20:26-28; Luke 22:27
All these verses tell us how to be the Model Citizen of God’s Kingdom.
As members of Christ’s kingdom, we enter into a Master-servant relationship with Him (Mathew 6:24)
Jesus came to do His Father’s will (Hebrew 10:5-9). In His day to day life, He displayed what the lifestyle of the Kingdom is all about: Living to please God (Ephesians 5:8-10)
We are to have this servant heart, just as Jesus had a servant’s heart. Many Christians do not like the concept of being a servant because it seems to make one person inferior to another.
But in the Bible we find four interesting paradoxes:
1. In slavery, There is Freedom
Romans 6:22 - But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.
See also Romans 12:1;1 Corinthians 7:22; 2 Corinthians 3:17; Ephesians 6:6,7; 1 Peter 2 :16.
2. In being a servant, There is Greatness
Mathew 23:11-12 – But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.
See also Mathew 20:26-27; Mark 9:35: 10:43; John 12:26
3. In Humility, There is Exaltation
Mathew 18:4 - Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
See also Luke 18:14; Proverbs 29:23; James 4:10; 1 Peter 5:5,6; Mathew 19:30.
4. In Submission, There is Authority
The Roman Centurion (a military leader over 100 soldiers) who came to Jesus understood this principle.
Luke 7:7-8 - Therefore I did not even think myself worthy to come to You. But say the word, and my servant will be healed. 8 For I also am a man placed under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
Because the Centurion was under authority, he was able to exercise authority; and he readily submitted to Jesus’ authority. (Read also verses 1-10; James 4:7)
The lifestyle of the kingdom of God is an attitude of SUBMISSION and OBEDIENCE TO GOD.
Mathew 12:50 – For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.”
See also Ephesians 6:6; Hebrews13:21; 1 John 2:17; 1 Thes.4:1)
We submit ourselves to God’s will, and not reluctantly, but out of fear or duty or rather :
a. Because Of All God Has Done For Us (Romans 12:1;Ephesians 4:1; Titus 3:4-7)
b. Because In Doing So We Find Fulfillment (Psalm 40:8)
c. Because Of Love ( John 14:15; 1 John 5:3)
FRUIT OF THE KINGDOM
1Thes. 2:11-12 - as you know how we exhorted, and comforted, and charged every one of you, as a father does his own children, 12 that you would walk worthy of God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.
2 Thes.1:5 - which is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer;
In Mathew 21:43, Jesus said that the Kingdom would belong to those who “produce its fruit”. The fruit of the Kingdom is explained in a number of scriptures.
• Love, joy, peace (Galatians 5:22,23)
• Goodness, righteousness, truth (Ephesians 5:9; James 3:13-17)
• Righteousness, peace, joy (Romans 14:17; Hebrews 12:11)
Since we are created by God, we were also made for His kingdom and its lifestyle. The fruit of that kingdom is simply the natural outworking of the miracle of rebirth that the Holy Spirit has performed in us (see Galatians 5:22)
Our responsibility as citizens of God’s Kingdom is to live like the people we now are.
Colossians 1:10 - that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Dear Friends, let our outward lives, that men see, may bring credit to our Master’s name and that we may bring joy to His heart.
Let us pray: Lord, thank you for teaching us today about Kingdom living. Help us to submit our lives to the service of others, just as Jesus did. We commit ourselves to being a willing, joyful servant of Christ and others. In Jesus name. Amen.
