Is Dipper strong because he keeps wrestling with Bill?

I wouldn't say that wrestling Bill is his main form of exercise. However, it does give him motivation to pick up Stan's old barbells. Can't let that demonic loser completely overwhelm him all the time. (He remains overwhelmed. Bill cheats.)

#still in love with Stan traching Dipper self defense btw and him picking up a very Stan form #He's got a stance for someone much gruffer and bigger than he is but fuck if he can't lay you out flat 😌#This is more self indulgent than anything but I always imagined him having a *killer* left hook #'Fists like a tiny truck' as one guy put it. Because you really *don't* expect that much power before his punches #Not that he's toppling buildings by any means but he's breaking a nose of he gets the angle right #and if you wake up on your back while he's shaking his wrist because your face was hard- don't act surprised #Wendy thinks it's cool he finally got into shape! It's a lot more fun play-wrestling that way #Bill. Doesn't find it quite as fun #Speaking of Bill! We all know he's a fan of the body improvement that Dipper does to keep up with his own strength #He says it's 'unfair' but Bill reminds him that if this thing reflected his TRUE strength Bill wouldn't even be able to flick his forehead #That might be true. Dipper's still annoyed he can't win in physical fights against him though #Not without playing dirty of course #Tickling *can* be a means of counter but that's also opening the door for retaliation and again: Bill is much stronger #They both choose peace in that case. Most of the time.#Once in a while it's the only took left in their utility belt. Can't let this guy beat him like that!#Now it's a nuclear fallout and everyone is dead aka tickling ruins everything #Good on Dipper for getting in shape though! I'm sure Stan has been trying to get him on the weights for a while now #And while Dipper's tried he's never really had the motivation to. Those bullies aren't any easier just because he can pick up a few pounds #Now he's got a real opponent. Bill's not so dirty that he'll use magic against him (supposedly). It's good ol fashioned wrestling #He can at least hold out a bit longer than before now that his atms have a bit of definition 😩#Before being subjected to pinning and smooches
