you know what null could have been instead of some vague guy shoehorned into the creation story?
THE GOD OF DEATH. ECHOES ARE MADE FROM LIVING THINGS AFTER YOU KILL THEM. THEY ARE PUPPETS OF THE DEAD.
THE STILL WORLD COULD HAVE BEEN LITERAL HELL.
new proposed null concept: the god of death. jealous of the land of the living, it tries to pull it and its citizens into hyrule hell, called the still world, using rifts. it wants the triforce to unite the land of the living and the dead.
zelda and link already have pieces of the triforce and that's why they can move freely within the still world.
they got them as children when null first tried to wish on the triforce to unite the lands of the living and dead. that's when rifts started to appear.
unable to keep standing by, the goddesses created the tris from sacred power to seal rifts as they appeared.
meanwhile, null tries to pull link and zelda into rifts to take their triforce pieces. that's why the rifts targeted children at first.
he finally succeeds, but underestimates the power link and zelda hold with their pieces of the triforce.
link and zelda manage to escape, but link has become mute and zelda has lost all of her memory.
including anything of her own brother. link.
the two are found by the royal family and are discovered to hold triforce pieces. they're split up luke and leia style between the king and queen, who are barren, and impa’s brother in suthorn village, lueberry.
over the years, zelda gains back the ability to retain memories. she is brought up by the king and queen as their own daughter, the princess.
many years later, null sends echoes to kidnap zelda. link sets off on an adventure to reclaim the princess, knowing she is his sister. once null discovers that this bothersome hero is actually the kid with the other triforce piece, it lures him into a trap to capture the triforce of courage. it succeeds in capturing link and the triforce of courage, but zelda escapes. furious, null creates an echo from link's body and sends it out to spread chaos and rifts everywhere while creating echoes of the king and his advisors to hunt zelda down.
zelda sets out to seal the rifts, and in doing so frees the souls of the king, wright, and lefte. she defeats the echoes, letting the souls return to their bodies.
zelda's name is cleared, but link’s echo is still out there (because after the king is saved in the game the stakes just dissolve). turns out null is the one guarding links soul, and zelda can't kill the link echo until she frees it, or else the soul can't return to it and null can just recreate it. that's what keeps happening when the link echo comes back.
zelda has to collect the sanctions in order to open the way to null's palace in the still world, where link's soul is imprisoned. she frees it and returns to the overworld, where she fights link for the last time to defeat him and return his soul to his body.
with link freed, they can finally face off against death itself. they defeat him, reclaim the triforce, and imprison him inside the still world for good.

What do you think the history between North and Krampus would be? (Because for some reason we have never gotten anything like this)
Hmm yes I’m not sure if Krampus was ever mentioned by Joyce
So here is a little story i made up!
North and Krampus used to work together. They were a pair and Krampus was Norths second in command. North first encountered Krampus trapped in a dingy coal mine in the 12th century The spirit was badly damaged and was originally a goat forced to work the mine for greedy humans. Wheeling coal day and night until the mine collapsed trapping Krampus for hundreds of years. North was journeying around the world and one day came across the abandoned mine. North felt awful at what was done and he freed Krampus and brought him back to the pole.
The two worked together and North helped heal him back to perfect health. When Christmas came around North allowed Krampus to be his right hand man in checking the list and delivering gifts to the good children of the world. Word spread quickly about santa and krampus. Soon krampus had believers and could be seen by children. This is when things went wrong.
At Krampus’s center was greed. As a more lonely spirit he adored the power and attention he got from believers, so much so he began to kidnap children on the naughty list. North originally never visited the naughty children and instead would just visit the good ones. This left the naughty ones vulnerable to Krampus. Kidnappings were occurring on Christmas and Krampus even got a bit violent with the ones trying to escape.
When North caught wind of what was happening he and Krampus had a legendary battle. North won and he banished the corrupt spirit back to the mountains. Now North visits the naughty children leaving behind a piece of coal to ward off Krampus ( The smell of coal makes him sick after being imprisoned for years)
Although Krampus is a banished enemy of North’s past… it is possible given the rise of digital media for his story to spread in the modern age… Perhaps the Guardians will have to face Norths old friend and foe one day. North for one is disturbed by the thought. After all he was the one who let this stranger in and allowed him around the children he swore to protect.
The world of the guardians is vast and full of untapped potential. I would love to here yours and other peoples version of Krampus. Let me know if you have any ideas!
Thank you for your question! This was fun.

Armored x Magic girls ‘title forever work in progress’ stories of the past "the king that sits on the hill of the dead"
maybe some 5-10 thousand years ago in the world of magic. separated from the rest of the continent by mountains the people living there believed on the other side is the spirit realm and dared not venture there. in their own past there used to be more kingdoms but as one smaller was destroyed by their former allies it sparked a war between the 2 biggest kingdoms. another instead of picking sides left out of fear towards the mountains never to be seen again. the trouble making kingdom was defeated and lost a good chunk of territory. nowadays they're trying to provoke war again. to be fair these are not big nations while they claim big territories they don't have cities, towns, villages conquered territory only has a fort. technically there are 3 kingdoms nowadays but there is also underwater realm which they believe is ruled by a god of see but spoiler back then people didn't know what a necromancer is.
now this king had 2 wives. the one he loved with whom he had a lot of children and the one that was forced on him by underwater "god". she had one child and the king did not believe it was his so he asked a wizard to use magic and try to find out. the wizard instead had a weird vision from which the sacred spirit of this kingdom chased him out off. in the field he saw a man sitting on a chair surrounded by dead soldiers a wolf lying next to him as he approached the man it turned out this was no wolf as sacred bear spirit roared at him. funny thing is the boy showed up with bleeding arm and a wolf, guards made a big fuss about it. the boy claimed it wasn't the wolf that hurt him and it's his friend. king allowed the wolf to stay because in the vision it was the sacred spirit but the 2nd wife was pissed at that decision.
skipping some details in their present day the other kingdom got their casus belli and crushed this kingdom mostly because a traitor gave them infos (spoiler mc's mother) and they executed everyone
mc was holding a fort and as they lost something triggered in mc who released unusual magic that killed the 1st army attacking them. the 2nd that arrived latter retreated as they had no way of knowing the situation. 1st was lead by king's son while the 2nd by his daughter and the 2nd thought how the 1st just lost so the woman was advised by her advisor to seek reinforcement as the fort's strength was clearly underestimated. she hated he was right as she wanted to prove herself. later someone shows up out of nowhere in the fort and ask mc what did he do. mc is confused what he means as his soldiers return to life while this person is claiming to be the keeper of the underworld.
he tells him how he will allow this only if he does few things for him. 1st save a trapped giant, 2nd save the sacred spirit of his nation as it is dying, 3rd go to mountains as there is a spirit in the underworld with a regret he would like to fix. turns out the kingdom that vanished has been living in cave systems under mountains but this spirit of their former ruler wants them to return to the surface. at the same time enemies are searching for him, his mother is there and the fort is now occupied by them. they don't consider him to be a threat as his mother is on their side. at the same time in 3rd kingdom queen receives messengers and asks them if they're aware what the content of the letter was, they were not. her own daughter was kidnapped by their king so she tells them she will spare their lives but they have to decide, options are to continue living under evil king or save her daughter. upon returning they find out her daughter was actually dead this whole time and escape to tell her that. turns out it was really the queen's sister that made an agreement with the evil king and this was her doing and now she will kill the queen but her daughter will be shocked at what her mother did.
and now for my favorite scene
at the fort as the daughter of the king is sitting with her back to window at the table, her advisor opposite of her and mc's mother on her left. the advisor is shocked at what he is seeing.. snow, snow is failing in the desert. soldiers are shouting and a huge impressive army can be seen from the walls and mc shows up on a horse, giant on his right and wolf on left and the wolf is about to do something but it's the sacred spirit that roars and the snow storm becomes heavier as archers fill the sky with arrows but the enemies wizard blocks them with a shield but now he is struggling to hold his staff and the shield breaks and he sees the keeper in the sky. and now they're asked to leave the fort. the woman is once again angry that her advisor is right as she listens to him and they leave. but later they will find the fort abandoned as this was just a distraction. mc's army left for 3rd kingdom as the 4th request from the keeper was also from the dead queen and she wanted them to save her niece.
they will save dead queen's niece whom her own mother imprisoned so she would not revel the truth. now that the truth is out nobleman want the niece to be the queen but she rejects as because of what her mother did she doesn't believe herself to deserve the crown. she tells them to rule themselves and to stay out of war with that troublesome kingdom and she will go with someone who deserves the crown more than her "a king with no kingdom" "a king who sits on the hill of the dead" she didn't know about the vision she said those words because he was the only heir of a kingdom where everyone was dead.
the last request from the keeper will have mc go to ruins of old destroyed kingdom where he will find out more about his side of the family.. skipping the details i mean its no secret that he is great grandson of the "god" of see but he will meet his great grandma there for the first time. skipping some other details like evil king lost a lot of children 2 sons in this war and the oldest long before the war as the 2nd oldest wanted to be the heir but now he will realize him from prison believing his ambitions will make him a good threat for the mc but meh died like all the rest on the battlefield.
this kingdom lost as even the 3rd kingdom joined in final battle and castle was besieged not only that but the mc will got some help from family he never meet as ships from the other side of the mountains where his mother's mother was show up. as the evil king will commit suicide the advisor says to that woman they should surrender but she had enough of his advises and is shouting to keep fighting and the advisor just stabs her in the back.

😈 with Sebastian... Basic, i know but well, i do love it👀
no cause i love it too 😩😩 Sebastian is a bit of a worshiper here
Warnings: Kidnapping, manipulation, mentions of death
Word Count: 1.1k
You love being a guardian angel. Watching over people and making sure that they don’t interact with evil was so nice. You got to watch people be born and then grow up. It was sad of course because you had to watch them die but then you get to meet them and introduce yourself.
The only bad part about being a guardian angel is watching devils get attached to the person and make them do such bad things. When that happens all you can hope is that they’ll listen to you, the voice of reason instead of the voice of impulse.
you smiled as you watched the little girl named Sarah run around the playground with friends. She was only in kindergarten but she was the sweetest girl you have ever met. Always kind to people and always helping others.
You sat down on one of the benches as your white dress flowed in the wind. You were able to walk on earth but no one could see you. You froze as you saw a demon walk up to Sarah. He was tall, definitely taller than you, and clad in a very expensive-looking all-black suit with a silk red tie.
His eyes met yours and his steps faltered for a moment. You tried not to show your fear, not for your own life but for Sarah's. She was so sweet and you didn’t want a devil to tarnish that sweetness so soon.
You let out a relieved sigh as the demon walked past all the children and towards the building. You cared about all the children like they were your own and to see a devil ruin them so early hurts your soul.
After seeing Sarah get tucked into bed you retired to your home in the clouds. You couldn’t see Sarah from your home but there was a mirror pool that you could always look into to see how she’s doing.
What angels do with their time after the day ends is up to them. Some sleep even though you don’t need it, and others talk amongst each other, telling them about the person they’re currently watching over.
You however would read. Your goal was to get through all of the books in God's library (open to all of course). You interacted with other angels of course but you preferred to read, to get lost in the many stories of other lives and their adventures.
Picking up your most recent read, you easily got lost in the story of a maiden who got trapped in a tower by an evil witch and then a prince came to save her. Hearing a knock at the door, you put down the book and rushed over to the door. Standing there was your good friend Eveline. He had a worried look on his face, as he pointed to the gate.
Assuming he meant someone was there for you, you put a hand on their shoulder to ease them and walked over to heaven's gate. You almost started to cry seeing a devil there, the same devil from Sarah’s school. Devils aren’t allowed in heaven like angels aren’t allowed in hell, they can only walk up to each other's gates.
Sebastian saw you at the school and he was automatically captured by your beauty and pureness. Even angels have a bit of evil in them but you, you were completely pure. He was going to latch onto the one that you were watching over but seeing your scared face made him stop in his tracks. Sebastian saw how much Sarah meant to you, so he went into the school instead.
Normally if he saw an angel with a scared look on their face he would be more inclined to latch onto the person they were watching over but with you, he just couldn’t do it.
“What are you doing here?” You asked shakily.
“To give you flowers of course, Sebastian said, holding out a bouquet of your favorite flowers.
“I’m sorry but you know I can't accept those.” You said with regret in your voice.
Sebastian chucked. He, a demon, shows up at the gates of heaven trying to give you a gift and you sound sorry that you cannot accept it. Can you get any cuter?
Sebastian sighed and put on his best sad face.
“You can’t even accept one flower?” He asked, looking at you.
“No…I’m very sorry sir.” You said looking at your feet.
Sebastian was smirking under his sad facade. You were such a pushover, he could tell. All Sebastian had to do was get a gift you couldn’t resist.
Going back to hell, Sebastian made his way over to the mirror pool. He asked to see you and there you were. Sitting there reading.
“ A book person hm?” he asked himself.
“Show me God’s library.” He said.
After spending hours looking through the library, Sebastian finally found one book that his library had that God’s didn’t. Quickly grabbing the book from his shelf, Sebastian made his way back to heaven.
“ Y/n no matter what you cannot accept any gift from that demon!” Eveline said shaking your shoulders
“What? Why?” You asked, taking his hands off on your shoulders.
“Because that means that you belong to him. You officially become his property.”
“ Well, how do I know if I become his….property?”
“ His contract seal will burn on the back of your hand.”
You nodded your head, taking all of the information in before agreeing to never take a gift from a demon.
You looked at the book in Sebastian's hand, so desperately wanting to take it. He said that it was the one book that God's library didn’t have and well, he’s right. You made him wait at heaven's gate as you chef all the books and you couldn’t find the one Sebastian was promising you.
“Well…I would like the book but I don't want to become your property.” You said, fiddling with your fingers.
“Who told you that?” He asked looking surprised
“ Well, my friend Eveline. He said that if I take a gift from a demon I'll become his property.”
“He’s wrong,” Sebastian said with certainty.
“The only time a person becomes a demon's property is if they form a contract with them. “ He said, flipping through the book.
“O-oh..well then if I take the book you promise I won’t become your property?” You asked, finally looking at him.
Sebastian nodded his head while handing the book out to you, hiding his smirk.
You opened the gate and reluctantly took the book. You felt a burning on the back of you hand and started to panic
“You- You lied!” You screamed.
“It’s what demons do darling. Now come along, we should get you to your new home.”

If Rheagar was such a bad guy then why does most of westeros still think about him positively after the Rebellion?
This ended up being a long response, so I'm going to put a lot of it under the cut for length.
First of all, even if most of Westeros thought that Rhaegar was fantastic, that still wouldn’t mean that he actually was fantastic. Perception plays a huge role in politics, which is obvious from Sansa’s observation about Margaery and the Tyrells:
The smallfolk cheered them as well.
The same smallfolk who pulled me from my horse and would have killed me, if not for the Hound. Sansa had done nothing to make the commons hate her, no more than Margaery Tyrell had done to win their love.
Reality does not always equal perception, especially where the rich and powerful are concerned.
Second, there’s absolutely no evidence that most of Westeros thinks about Rhaegar positively. In fact, quite the opposite. The story that has been told across Westeros ever since Robert’s Rebellion is that Rhaegar kidnapped and raped Lyanna; that’s the story that Robert (as the new king) spreads, and it’s what most people believe, including children like Bran:
“Robert was betrothed to marry her, but Prince Rhaegar carried her off and raped her,” Bran explained. “Robert fought a war to win her back. He killed Rhaegar on the Trident with his hammer, but Lyanna died and he never got her back at all.”
That doesn’t sound too positive to me.
Third, it may seem like Rhaegar is viewed as mostly positive because of the POV trap. We only really get a few people’s outright opinions about Rhaegar (instead of vague or implied ones): Daenerys, Jorah, Ned, Bran, Barristan, Cersei, Jaime, Robert, and Jon Connington.
Of those, 2 of them (Bran and Robert) see Rhaegar negatively, 2 of them (Ned and Jaime) see him almost indifferently (I’ll talk about that later), and 5 of them (Daenerys, Jorah, Barristan, Cersei, and Jon Connington) see him positively. That seems like there is more good than bad, but you have to look at the context.
Daenerys certainly isn’t going to view her brother (that she never met but has heard tales about from Viserys) as a villain when she’s been told a very different story, and even if Jorah and Barristan didn't like Rhaegar, they would never tell Daenerys that. It’s also worth noting that Jorah traded slaves and Barristan was part of a Kingsguard which has seriously questionable morals, so I can’t say that I hold either of their opinions in high regards.
Jon Connington thinks of Rhaegar in a positive light because he was in love with him, but ironically enough, he barely knew him. That's obvious from the fact that he was more jealous of Elia’s relationship with Rhaegar than Lyanna’s, which would make no sense if he truly knew what transpired and what Rhaegar was thinking.
Cersei thinks of Rhaegar positively because Rhaegar is to her what Lyanna is to Robert – a fantasy of what could have been that serves as an escape from the awful reality. Robert has abused Cersei countless times, and she’s understandably unhappy with him. She didn’t even know Rhaegar, but she deludes herself into thinking that her life would have been better if she had married him:
If she had only married Rhaegar as the gods intended, he would never have looked twice at the wolf girl. Rhaegar would be our king today and I would be his queen, the mother of his sons.
This is just like the way Robert deludes himself into thinking that he would be happy if he married Lyanna. Neither of these ideas are based in reality.
There’s also an unrealistic perception of royalty that comes into play. Look at what happens to Cersei:
Cersei was soiled goods now, her power at an end. Every baker's boy and beggar in the city had seen her in her shame and every tart and tanner from Flea Bottom to Pisswater Bend had gazed upon her nakedness, their eager eyes crawling over her breasts and belly and woman's parts. No queen could expect to rule again after that. In gold and silk and emeralds Cersei had been a queen, the next thing to a goddess; naked, she was only human, an aging woman with stretch marks on her belly and teats that had begun to sag … as the shrews in the crowds had been glad to point out to their husbands and lovers.
The perception (as opposed to the reality) is what really sets the royal family apart, and Rhaegar certainly had an advantage in that regard: he was a handsome and intelligent prince and a talented jouster and swordsman. On paper, that sounds great, so for people who didn’t really know him (like Cersei and Jon), what’s not to love?
Also, compare that to Aerys (who was growing increasingly paranoid and delusional and even looked like he was going mad by refusing to cut his hair or nails) & Robert (who was an abusive, angry drunk). To people like Barristan, Rhaegar seemed like the lesser of all evils (though the bar is certainly set very low).
Now think about the two people who view Rhaegar almost indifferently: Jaime and Ned. With Jaime, I say it’s indifferent because his memories and thoughts about Rhaegar aren’t really based on his opinion about him; they are more about his guilt at failing to protect Rhaegar’s children, which I think he realistically would have felt regardless of how he felt about the prince. It’s no secret that Jaime hates Robert, but he doesn’t seem to particularly love Rhaegar either. He mostly just gives facts about him that are tainted by his youth and his guilt.
Ned’s opinion is what people usually point to as an excuse for Rhaegar “not being so bad” because if Ned doesn’t hate him, then surely he must not have been so awful 🙄 The irony of that is that Ned had a much greater opinion of Robert than he deserved (at first), but that certainly doesn’t mean that Robert was a saint. And he mostly just remembers facts about Rhaegar; the only “positive” thing he thinks is this:
There was no answer Ned Stark could give to that but a frown. For the first time in years, he found himself remembering Rhaegar Targaryen. He wondered if Rhaegar had frequented brothels; somehow he thought not.
If not frequenting brothels is the standard for being a great person, then his expectations are far too low.
I also think this is rooted in Ned’s misogyny. Even though Ned doesn’t think poorly of Lyanna (which he shouldn’t), he knows that she went with Rhaegar willingly, and because of that, he doesn’t seem to fault Rhaegar for the power imbalance as much as he should.
Since he doesn't think of Rhaegar as a rapist, that implies that he seems to just accept that this was a bad decision that Rhaegar and Lyanna made together that had domino effects. It's not as bad as some characters thinking that Lyanna “seduced” Rhaegar, but it still doesn't put the blame fully where it belongs (by acknowledging that Lyanna was still a child who Rhaegar took advantage of).
Ned clearly still loved Lyanna dearly, but I do think he didn’t understand her decision to run away with Rhaegar in the first place, and part of that is because his views about Robert didn't match up with hers (which was obvious when he assured her that Robert was a good man who was true and would love her with all his heart). Even though he told Robert that he didn’t see the iron underneath Lyanna’s beauty, he still somehow thinks that Robert loved her truly:
Lyanna had only been sixteen, a child-woman of surpassing loveliness. Ned had loved her with all his heart. Robert had loved her even more. She was to have been his bride.
That’s one of the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever read, and yet somehow Ned believes that. By the time he starts thinking about Rhaegar again, he’s finally seeing Robert more clearly, and because of that, he’s finally beginning to think about/understand why Lyanna made the decision that she did. So I personally think that Ned's thoughts about Rhaegar (above) have more to do with Lyanna than the prince.
This became way longer than I intended, and I feel like I went off on a few tangents (sorry), but to sum it up: Not everyone views Rhaegar positively, and even if they did, it doesn’t make him a good person. He left his wife and children to kidnap a girl that was still a child, locked said girl in a tower without access to her family while she was pregnant, and set into motion a war that killed so many innocent people. I don’t care how many people “liked” him in the books; Rhaegar was still a jerk.

Newly Added Fics 5/16
Hello everyone, sorry again for the slight hiatus! I’ve replied to all the messages in my inbox (at least the ones that were sent to me before this past friday), so if you asked me something before that, be sure to check out my replies!
As usual, I’ve emboldened the fics I really liked and italicized the ones that are incomplete.
Looks Like Love by luvkurai [words: 5,987] — (AU)
After his sister's wedding, Will kisses his childhood housekeeper (and first love).
Betrothed by slashyrogue [words: 3,932] — (AU)
In one month he would marry a total stranger.
Titan Arum by ProxyOne [words: 64,614] — (AU)
Will is a botanist, working in the greenhouse of the local Botanical Gardens. He is getting his life back on track after his divorce, but he can't help but notice someone who keeps coming back to his greenhouse to draw, day after day. A man who seems to have been paying very close attention to him...
Find Me In The Dark by Rising_Phoenix [words: 40,131] — (AU)
After a fateful accident, the marriage of Will Graham and Hannibal Lecter has reached its end. Grief and the inability to stop them from falling apart has brought an irreconcilable distance between the formerly deeply devoted couple. While Hannibal is apathetic towards his husband, ignores him, and is withdrawn, Will has started an affair with fellow teacher Francis and drowns his desperation in more and more alcohol.
Light of All Lights by whiskeyandspite [words: 20,377] — (AU)
Dracula-like fic without any of the vampires
The Stage Just For You by CarnivalMirai [words: 6,494] — (AU + Age Gap)
Will has landed himself the role of Odette for world-famous choreographer Hannibal Lecter's rendition of The Swan Lake.
There Will Be Bells by Entropyrose [words: 36,639] — (A/B/O)
In Georgian England, male omegas are very rare diamonds. Baron and Baroness Graham have a plan to build their wealth and social status by offering their son Will's hand in marriage to a mysterious older Duke, an Alpha named Lord Hannibal Lecter. Will's personal feelings need not apply.
Alpha Mart by slashyrogue [words: 63,164] — (A/B/O)
Will needs an alpha. After years of fake knots, half-assed suppressants, and his own damn hand during heats he’s reached the end of his rope. He doesn’t do dating so he decides to waste his life savings and hype with the current trend. Alpha Mart.
Enchanted By Your Name by CarnivalMirai [words: 9,207] — (A/B/O + PWP)
“Now, my husband would prefer it if I got the job done quickly.” He says, slashing down the back of each gag as he passes each man, watching as the silk falls gracefully to the floor. “However, I want to have some fun. Considering you’ve troubled my husband so much… it’s only fair, right?” One of the men whimpered fearfully. Or: The name "Will Graham" is a name you'll only ever hear once.
I've Been Building Black Ships by cloudsarefluffy [words: 8,116] — (A/B/O + AU)
Alpha Hannibal moves to the States with his sister Mischa after being overtly done with the fancy life of a count, and his blind omega neighbor gives him an insight into love that he never quite expected.
A Rare Find by hit_the_books [words: 5,379] — (A/B/O + AU)
Life as an omega bookseller can be quite lonely. However, as the owner of Graham’s Books, Will Graham is reasonably content. That is until he meets—long-time customer and crush—Doctor Hannibal Lecter in person for the first time. Attraction blossoming between them both, Will agrees to a dinner date with the good doctor.
We All Have a Hunger by 1ntothew1ld [words: 12,260] — (A/B/O + Age Gap)
Hannibal will ensure a properly slow and painful death for an alpha who allowed a beautiful young omega to go to waste as this one has. Too skinny for his own good, a stuttering and humble mess. The likes of the omega in front of him belonged at Opera houses and in million-dollar mansions, not scrounging for his next meal. Meek and afraid in some disheveled row house. When he finally looked back up the alpha had to conceal the utter punch to the stomach that meager glance was, blue eyes full of innocence but also hunger.
The Doctor Is In by Kummerspeck7 — (A/B/O + PWP)
Will nearly scoffed. "You can't expect me to believe you'd want anything other than a delicate flower to adorn your side, keep your ostentatious home, bare you the exact number of children you want--No more, no less-- all while being available at your whims." "Not at all." Hannibal disagreed. "I would no more put a wilting flower in my home than in a bouquet given as a gift. Tell me, Will, is that how you are treated? Forbidden from work, cloistered inside and used at Mr Brown's discretion?" "My Alpha's discretion." Hannibal looked pointedly at the curve of Will's neck, free from a single scar. "Not yet he isn't."
Teenage Wildlife by writtenbyizzy [words: 10,163] — (Age Gap + Sugar Daddy)
While reluctantly prowling Grindr for a sugar daddy to pay for his dog Bean's vet bills Will comes across Hannibal, and gets far more than he bargained for.
Just As Poised As I Remember by CarnivalMirai [words: 5,721] — (Age Gap + School)
When Will was in high school he had an incredibly handsome psychology teacher-- tall and sharp with a thick European accent. And now, a decade later, said psychology teacher-turned psychiatrist... just swiped right on him.
We Can Chase the Dark Together by K_R_Closson [words: 16,615] — (Fantasy)
Will tips him and Hannibal off the cliff. Instead of hitting the water, he wakes up in his bed, several years in the past. His first, and only, priority is to find Hannibal again.
We Killed a Dragon Last Night by inameitlater [words: 88,150] — (Fantasy)
Will remembers falling. He wakes up months before Jack got him to work for him. Months before he met Hannibal for the first time. Free from his past he decides to change events and meet Hannibal again.

Seduction by BloodunderMoonlight [words: 7,086] — (Season 3+)
“For fuck’s sake, Hannibal.” Will glared at him, brimming with wrath he had only seen behind Will’s gun. He had no doubt Will would draw out a knife from beneath the duvet or pillows, but clearly words were enough to make him gobsmacked—“Are you a fucking virgin or monk? If all these can’t get you to bed then I don’t know what can.” Hannibal stood gaping at Will.
Blood, Cedar and Dog Hair by sourweather [words: 3,351] — (Season 3+)
Something terrible happens while Hannibal is in prison. Something he never prepared for.
Hidden Potential by sourweather [words: 20,789] — (Soulmates)
The first time you make eye contact with your soul mate, you see a vision of their greatest accomplishment. They call it your Peak. Unfortunately for Will Graham, his soul mate's Peak is a vision of blood and horror. Fortunately for Hannibal Lecter, his soul mate's is too.
Karoliai by slashyrogue [words: 4,577] — (Sugar Daddy)
Will works at a jewelry store. He has worked there for three months and sold less than any other person there. His boss tells him to sell something by the end of the day or he may not have a job tomorrow. If there was one thing Will hated more than having to talk people into buying jewelry they didn’t need, it was trying to do it two days before Valentine’s Day.

Little Nightmares 2 Ending Theory
WARNING: Spoilers for the story/ending of Little Nightmares 2 ahead!
So I finally finished watching SuperHorrorBro’s playthrough of Little Nightmares 2 last night, and while the ending gutted me like a fish (I literally cried myself to sleep, I was so emotional) after thinking it over throughout the day, I’m starting to like the ending a lot more, mostly through my own theory/interpretation.
The basis for my theory is this; Six didn’t betray Mono. No, Mono sacrificed himself to save her.
I believe that from the moment Mono watched as the Thin Man stole Six away, he knew his fate was sealed. In that moment, Mono chose to go rescue her, all the while knowing it wouldn’t end well for him.
Throughout this game, we’ve been shown not through words, but through actions how much Mono and Six care about each other. All the times Six has counted on Mono to come back for/save her, all the times Mono has trusted Six to catch/throw him, all the moments they worked in-sync to escape certain death, etc. These two care very deeply for each other, and would do pretty much anything to keep the other safe.
By the time the duo has gotten through the hospital, they trust each other with little hesitation or doubt, so you can imagine Mono’s horror when the Thin Man took his best friend from him, and the amount of dread he felt at the prospect of trying to fight such an unbeatable force of nature.
For context real quick, I also believe that Mono knows a lot more about the universe he’s in than we’re able to see from gameplay alone. In fact, I believe that before the game even began, Mono was being raised similarly to the Pretender in VLN, in that he was being groomed in preparation to someday become the next controller of the signal tower. However, likely just before the game started, Mono ran away, donning his paper bag in order to keep from being recognized by the Pale City’s inhabitants.
I think that at first, Mono just wanted to take down the signal tower by himself or run away from his destiny, but once he met Six and escaped the Hunter with her, he became determined to now only keep her company, but keep her safe from the terrifying world he’s been trapped in all his life.
So back to the last chapter of LN2. Once Mono defeated the Thin Man (who may have been his own father because I can’t let that theory go) and entered the signal tower in search of his friend, I believe he learned the truth; he realized that the tower- and by extension, possibly the entire world- cannot exist without a monster of some kind living within it’s walls. Whether that’s just a random victim of the Thin Man’s occasional kidnappings (the shadow children, Six, etc) or someone with the power to control and manipulate the signal however they see fit (the Thin Man, Mono, etc) doesn’t matter; so long as the tower has a body, it won’t destroy itself, and by extension, the world.
Instead of just turning tail and leaving Six behind to be that body, Mono made a decision; that he would be the sacrifice, if only so Six could survive.
Cut to after the boss fight with Six, and Mono jumps to her as the tower crumbles around him. As we saw, Six manages to catch him just in the nick of time, but as she goes to pull him up, Mono mouths a message to her; “Let go.” At first, Six is confused- why would Mono want to be dropped? He saved her; this is their chance to escape!- but Mono just shakes his head and continues to mouth the words to her. Finally, perhaps while crying at the loss, Six lets him go, forced to watch as Mono plummets to what she believes is his death.
Mono doesn’t scream on the way down. Why would he? It was his idea, after all.
In the end, Six escapes what would’ve been her end, only to be haunted by the part of her left behind by the Thin Man, the phantom a grim reminder of the friend she had to lose in order to make it this far. In the meantime, Mono takes his fated place in the signal tower, slowly but surely growing to become the next Thin Man and take his rightful place as the signal tower’s next ruler. He couldn’t escape his destiny in the end, but it’s not so bad if it means he got to rescue his best friend in the process.
So no, I don’t think LN2 is meant to be a paradox or time-loop (and not only because I fucking hate paradox stories). I think Mono knew his fate earlier than we as the audience did, and instead of running from it in order to save himself, he chose to give up his freedom so that he could save the person he loved. It’s not a happy ending by any means, but it doesn’t have to be. Mono did what he thought was right, and I don’t think Six will ever forget that (or forgive herself, but that’s another story altogether).
((I’m sorry if this theory sucks; I’m very new to Little Nightmares lore, but I really like the universe!))

Karli Morgenthau - the ode she deserved
*Super long post warning* because it's directly proportional to my frustration
She's an orphan who's had to live rough until Mama Donya took her in. The woman gave her a home and taught her love. Taught her that even people like her, willfully forsaken by society, was deserving of love.
They got by, but it was a struggle, and then the Blip happened.
The world was suddenly bigger, the communities smaller. Jobs freed up, as did resources, infrastructure, and people's capacity to care because everyone was in this grief together. Lives became so much more precious because so much was already lost. Everyone came together to rebuild, and these forgotten children finally found a place in society.
Then the Blip ended and the world was flooded with overpopulation. People like her, with no connections, no power and no family, were the first to end up back on the streets, but that wasn't the worst of it.
Suddenly, resources that had been plentiful to share were no longer enough.
Food, water, clothing, shelter, energy, medicine, money, education, jobs...everything was in short supply. Needs that were so basic and essential are suddenly considered a luxury.
People begged the GRC for help, but all they received were empty promises and impatient dismissals, and they go home only to see another loved one dying of hunger, cold or illness.
What would it take to change the world? Mama Donya understands when Karli leaves for Madripoor but doesn't stop her. The world is unfair, she tells the child, but never lose the love you have for people.
In the lawless city, she finds the Power Broker. At first, she thought she met a kindred spirit - a woman similarly betrayed and abandoned by the world she believed in. But Sharon only wants to take advantage of people's greed to advance her own empire. Karli is still thinking about the dying children at home.
She needed strength, and she makes what she thinks is the bravest decision of her life: she steals the super soldier serum.
She starts stealing from the rich to give to the poor, but the supplies are limited and the need is endless. The GRC laments that they don't understand how complicated it is, but to Karli, food and medicine are simple needs made complicated by people in their ivory towers.
They must be doing something right, because everywhere they go, they are met with gratitude and generosity. But the GRC and media call them criminals, and the clashes turn increasingly violent. Karli spends so much time running from refuge to refuge she does not hear about Mama Donya until it's too late.
The woman who taught her love was dying from TB - an illness that could have been prevented and treated if only the world had spared them some love.
Resources were rotting in GRC depots while people died outside its walls. Strength wasn't enough. It was time for a statement.
Karli blows up the GRC building.
She sees the horror in her companions' eyes, the unspoken alarm and doubt. She sees the younger children watching her with adoration and admiration.
She knows she's in way over her head, but she of all people cannot back down, not for all the kids behind her.
When Sam first meets her, she snarls, "Don't condescend to me."
The world is treating her like a child, dismissing their demands as fantasies and refusing to hear their stories. But their suffering is not a dream, and their reality is created by these adults with their hands over their ears.
All she can do is to scream louder.
She threatens Sarah in order to separate Sam and Bucky from John Walker. She wants to use Walker's death to make a statement, but accidentally kills Lemar instead. She takes the GRC members hostage in a bid for them to listen to her demands.
Deep down, she knows she's doing it wrong. She knows this is not what Mama Donya has taught her to be. Her own companions are dying, and the ones who are left are now watching her with open uncertainty. She had an understanding ear in Sam, but she's pushed him away by involving Sarah.
At the end, she reaches out to Bucky.
He's a super soldier known for cold-blooded assassinations. Surely, if anyone could understand her, it would be him.
"I'm fighting for something bigger than myself," she says desperately.
But Bucky doesn't give her the answer she hopes for.
"The nightmares won't go away. Don't go down this path."
But it is too late.
The nightmares are already with her. The screams of the GRC guards from behind the flames. The weeping of the parents who lose their sick child. The crack of the pole as Lemar hits his head. The beeping of the machine as Mama Donya takes her last breath.
The deaths were hounding her, whether she moved forward or back. The nightmares were never going away.
Her plan to kidnap the GRC members is foiled. She's separated from her companions, who she knows are losing their conviction. The man she had called on for help was working with Sharon, who smirks at her when she asks how much power does the Power Broker really have, "More than you."
Sam, the only person who has sympathised with her, is dressed in the stars and stripes, the very symbol she has been trying to tear down.
She's trapped and alone and made a fool of, and never had she felt more like a helpless child.
As she picks up the gun, Sam looks her straight in the eye.
"What's next?"
I don't know.
"You kill ten this time, then what, a hundred?"
No.
"Where does it end?"
I don't know.
She just wanted the world to be better. She just wanted people to stop dying. She just wanted to go back to a time when love was aplenty and lives were precious.
When did she lose sight of that?
"I'm sorry."
(PS: I'm never going to forgive the script for glossing over her motivation because she could have been one of the best female characters + antiheros in MCU)

Unmasked AU
The room was dark as she entered; the twins asleep in their bed. It was well past their bedtime. Padme sighed. That meeting had gone on far too long. Creeping on silent feet, she carefully shut the door between their room and the main room before turning the lights on low. She still had reports to read before she could turn in.
In the back of her mind, she could hear Anakin groan at her. Telling her she worked too hard -- too long -- and that she needed sleep like a normal person. She closed her eyes and let the memory wash over her. She could see him, chest bare and gleaming in the pale lights of Coruscant filtering in from the windows. That mischievous smirk twisting his lips.
She missed him so much.
She missed who he had been.
With a sigh, she flopped down on the chair and immediately rose, muffling a yelp. Looking down at the seat, Padme picked up the offending object. The sense of displacement rose. She looked around the room to remind herself where she was. When she was.
This was one of Anakin's toys.
One of the little things he'd made from spare parts and circuitry aboard his warship, scurried away in the voluminous pockets of his robes to hand out to refugee children. The small joys he handed out to the little ones. Minuscule comforts, he'd said, could mean the world.
Where had it come from?
A shape, tall and dark, rose at the back of her mind. Her suspicions gnawing at her heart. She bit her lip.
"Mama?" A sleepy head poked out of the room.
Padme shook herself and smiled at her daughter. "Leia, sweetheart, what are you doing up?"
"Thirsty." The little girl mumbled.
"Well, let's get you something to drink." The woman gently set the toy down on the side table and scooped up her daughter. She'd worry about it in the morning. There were more important concerns.
So I had an idea...
I came across that Empire Era story idea on Pinterest today -- the one about Padme surviving and thinking Anakin died on Mustafar yet rising the Rebellion, and Vader thinking Padme still died -- them being trapped somewhere and arguing -- Padme masked -- and Padme slinging something she had said as Queen Amidala or senator and Vader being like “Don’t you dare bring her up--” and Padme ripping off the mask and throwing in his face like “I’ll bring myself into this argument if I kriffing want to!”
anyway, I had ideas for that..
That Vader, in that instant that she throws her mask as him and tells him she'll use herself in her own arguments all she kriffing likes, thank you, his heart breaks all over again. The lies he's told himself shatter around him, lying in pieces. And he know that the rebel leader -- Padme -- hates him and that he deserves it all.
That he’s burned with his hate for her, too. Why she got to live when his angel died.
And now all his illusions are shattered and he sees the monster that he is. He falls to his knees. He would cry if he could but he can’t.
But he does not call her anything Anakin would call her; he doesn’t permit himself the privilege of that familiarity.
Instead he swears himself to the service of his queen.
Padme stands baffled over her greatest nightmare, holding a lightsaber that sings mournfully, familiarly, over the feeling of its own pain. And she's never told anyone she came out the other side of Luke and Leia perhaps a little more sensitive than she went into it.
What can she do but bring him home. In chains, of course, because she’s not stupid. They have cuffs to hold Inquisitors and dark force sensitives. They have ways of containing him. She doesn’t yet trust that she doesn’t have to.
But he makes not a single aggressive move, not even a snarky word, to her or the Rebellion personnel that come to rescue her.
When they make it back to the base, him in chains and her with her head held high, the twins rush to greet them despite the clear orders she sent ahead and he just freezes. Something in her freezes, too. She's kept their existence a secret all these years for a reason.
He wants, for a split second to believe that they are children from a second marriage or a later lover but the boy looks just like him and Vader mourns again.
Padme refuses to so much as look at him as he's escorted to the cells but the children peek at him behind their mother's limbs. Curious faces gleaming in the light of the hanger. Interrogation follows. Sometimes Padme, sometimes others, but he tells them everything he knows. He has no reason to hold it back. His angel is alive and he is hers. Has always been hers. He owes loyalty to no other.
Something happens. The base is attacked or the children are kidnapped -- pirates, not the Empire -- and Padme has no choice but to test the loyalty that Vader swears. The sets him loose and he proves it.
He is devastating.
Slowly they build trust -- and Padme's not stupid. The Emperor's right hand man doesn't just come from nowhere and swear their loyalty to her. She digs... and she doesn't like what she finds. Nothing. There’s nothing. There’s nothing more suspicious than nothing.
Little toys, made from loose parts and spare circuitry begin to pop up in Padme and the twins' quarters. The kind Anakin used to make for the children of refugees when they were on the Resolute, to keep his hands occupied, the kind he'd bring home absently, a couple in his pockets every time.
The children aren’t afraid of him. They sense that he won’t hurt them. When he’s sitting somewhere, meditating or just watching, they treat him like a jungle gym.
Suspicion blooms at the back of her mind. One day, as he’s leaving on a mission, Vader slips and calls her Angel. He doesn’t notice but she does and it’s all the terrible confirmation she needs.
When he returns, exhausted and hurt, and still in that broken down kriffing suit he won’t let anyone touch, she plonks the kids down in front of him and tells him to start their training.
Anakin panics.
"I can't teach them, I know only of the dark" And she argues with him. "Surely floating a feather can't be dark, Lord Vader. A little push pull a too light for you?" Padme taunts him into starting the twins off on their control while she goes to talk to medical and engineering about that suit.

Summary: Where Jon and Martin get to grow old together and live out the rest of their lives in a village. Told from the POV of a 7-year-old girl, Trish, who just moved in next door.
Written in preparation for the emotional trainwreck that would be the finale of TMA :”)
Trish peeked out from behind the bushes to look at the cottage. She was new in the neighbourhood, but she had already heard all sorts of stories about it from the other kids she played with. There was a ghost in there, or a wizard, and anyone who stepped foot into its boundaries would be cursed and get kidnapped by a giant clown with claws for hands.
If you asked Trish, she’d tell you she didn’t believe in stupid fairytales and ghost stories like this. While the other kids still believed in Santa Claus, she already knew that it was just her parents sneaking treats into her Christmas socks. There was no way there was some sort of cursed monster living at the bottom of the hill.
Still, as she stood outside it’s fences, wiping her sweaty palms against her skirt, she gulped nervously. The way the other kids acted as they told her to get the ball because “you were the one who kicked it there!” still scared her. What if there was a bad guy in the house? She was only seven! What could she do?
She ran through several possible scenarios. She’d run. If she couldn’t, she’d kick the bad guy as hard as she could; her aunt had always said she had a good kick. If not, she’ll bite as hard as she can. Or she could–
“Excuse me. What are you doing in front of my house?” came a low voice.
Trish leapt backwards in fright with a squeak.
Standing behind her was an old man with a stubble in a long yellow dress (woman?), carrying several bags of groceries on her left arm. With her other hand, she wielded a cane. There were pale scars all over her dark skin and Trish wondered if this old lady might have been a pirate. Her dark eyes seemed to stare into Trish's soul as her lips were set in a downwards curl. Her eyebrows were thick and tightly knitted in a permanent-looking scowl. She reminded Trish of Mdm Taylor from school, except older and grumpier.
"I… Uh, I…" Trish shifted from foot to foot, her palms growing even sweatier. "I… My ball…" She pointed towards the ball in the lawn.
The woman with the beard followed her gaze to the bright pink ball beside the front door. "Ah," she said, sighing loudly. She walked to the front gate.
With her hands full, she had to fumble with the latch for a good minute before pushing the gate open. "There we are," she said. "Get your ball."
Trish blinked. It was that easy?
She ran past the lady with the beard and picked up her ball. She hugged it close to her chest and looked back up at the old lady, half-expecting her to declare that there was a price for taking the ball back, or that she was trapped here forever.
However, instead the old lady just hobbled through the gate. Some of her grocery bags got caught between the gate and she let out a groan. Trish's eyes darted between the old lady and the bags before she placed her ball back down, stepped forward and took some of the groceries from the lady with the beard.
"Oh, um," she said. "Thank you."
"It's okay," Trish replied, lifting the bags and walking towards the front door of the cottage. "I help my Ma take the groceries all the time."
The lady with the beard followed after and reached into the pockets of her dress (which were very deep pockets, Trish enviously noticed). As soon as she unlocked the door, Trish lugged the grocery bags into the house.
It was a clean house, and it smelled a lot like her Gramma's house. Old people smell, she reckoned.
"Where's your kitchen?"
"Over here."
Trish followed after her into the kitchen and she placed the groceries down where she was told.
"What's your name?" the old lady asked.
Trish froze. Her mother told her not to trust strangers and not to tell strangers her name. But perhaps she had already broken some of the rules since she just walked into a stranger's house. But she wasn't kidnapped yet so it was probably safe.
"I'm Trish."
"Ah, thank you so much, Trish. You have been of tremendous help." The lady with the beard began to pack her groceries away. "Usually, my husband would help me with all this."
"What happened to your husband?"
"He's in the hospital."
Trish gasped.
"He's going to be fine. Don't worry. It's just his knee. He'll be back in a week."
"Phew!" Trish dragged her hand across her forehead. "That's good. What's your name by the way?"
"Oh. My name's Jon."
"Jon?!" Trish shouted. "But that's a boy's name!"
The old lady looked confused. "I… yes? It is a masculine name, I suppose?"
"Are you a boy?"
Jon's eyes widened. "I see. Well… I'm neither a boy or a girl. But I am a he. As in, um, for example, 'his name is Jon and he likes eating peaches.'"
"How are you both not a boy or a girl though?"
Jon frowned in thought. "I just am. It just happens sometimes for people. Some people aren't a boy or a girl."
"Then, what are you?"
Jon frowned. "I'm nonbinary."
"Non…"
"Non-bi-na-ry," Jon repeated, slower, and Trish followed after. He smiled. "It can be a difficult word to pronounce."
"It's not that hard. I can do it," Trish said, rolling her eyes. Adults always made it seem like everything was too hard for her to do. "Nonbinary! See!"
Jon smiled. It was a small one, but Trish spotted it anyway.
She puffed up her chest and announced, “I need to go now. Bye bye!"
"Bye," Jon replied, waving his hand.
On the way out, Trish picked up her ball and made sure to close the doors behind her.
***
When Trish next spotted Jon, she was at the market with her father. As soon as she sees him, she tugs her dad's shirt and whispers loudly, "That's Jon at the fruit place. He lives in the cottage at the bottom of the hill."
Her father hummed absently as he picked out the vegetables. "Why don't you go say hi, sweetheart?"
With a nod, Trish headed over to the fruit stand where Jon was. He spotted her before she reached him and gave her a little wave. Today, he is in a button-up shirt and black pants.
"Hello, Trish," he greeted. "Helping your mother out?"
"Nope. My Da's shopping this time." She points to her father, who was still engrossed in examining the vegetables. She peered into Jon's basket and saw that in it, there were apples, mangoes and peaches. "Is your husband back yet?"
"Hm? Yes, he is. But he's resting at home. The surgery did a number on him."
"Surgery?!" Trish screeched. Jon winced at the shout and she muttered an apology.
Forgivingly, Jon shook his head. "Sometimes, when you get old, your joints will get a bit painful so the doctors have to replace it with an implant. He's on the road to recovery now so no worries."
“Implant…?”
Jon took time to explain what that meant. Trish had a million questions swirling around her head and she continued to press him for answers. Unlike a lot of adults, Jon took time to answer her questions to the best of his abilities.
Trish was about to ask how on earth someone can survive being cut open by another person when someone interrupted them. "Retired to teach primary school children, eh, Jon?" the fruit seller said, folding her arms. "Didn't know you were taking in new students."
Jon scowled. "You know full well—"
"Enough of you," the fruit seller brushed him aside in favour of leaning over her counter to look at Trish. "Heya, pipsqueak. Haven't seen you before."
"I’m not his student… My Ma and Da and me moved in last last week. My Da's there," she said, pointing.
It was also then that her father seemed to have settled the payment for vegetables and came over. “Trish, there you are. Where’s your friend? I thought you went to talk to him.”
Trish tugged Jon’s shirt. “Here.”
Da's eyes widened. “Oh! You’re Jon?” He quickly schooled his expression into a friendly smile. “Sorry, I didn’t mean anything by that. The way she talked about you… I just thought she was talking about her classmate so I was…”
“Expecting a seven-year-old and not a seventy-year-old,” Jon replied, raising an eyebrow. “That’s understandable. I’m Jonathan Blackwood-Sims. Nice to meet you.”
“Nathan Fujisaki. I’m Trish’s dad. Nice to meet you too.”
Jon’s phone began to ring and his brow furrowed. “Apologies,” he muttered as he placed his grocery bag on the stand before fumbling out his phone. He frowned as soon as he saw the caller-ID and picked it up immediately. “Martin, what’s wrong?” His eyes darted from side to side before he cupped a hand over the receiver and turned away from the rest of them to whisper into the phone.
“His husband,” the fruit seller said. “The two of them fuss over each other a lot.”
"Is that so?"
The fruit seller's eyes lit up with glee at the opportunity to gossip a little. "Yeah. When they first moved in, I was, like, 15? It's a lot better now but back then, the two of them were hardly ever apart. He taught me for a year, you know? And I don't know what arrangement they had with the school but they were practically glued to the hip anytime outside of class."
"So he is a teacher!" Trish exclaimed. "He reminded me of Mdm Taylor so I thought he might be a teacher."
"Yeah, he does have that vibe about him, doesn't he?" the fruit seller said. "Cross about everything and anything. He had that even when he was my teacher. And he was pretty scary back in the day too. Nothing seemed to get past him."
"If you truly believed that, you would know better than to gossip about me," Jon countered as he returned to pick up his grocery bag.
"How is he?" Trish asked.
Jon winced. "It's… better now. But I should head back as soon as I can." He began to make his move and said, "Take care."
"Would you like a lift?" Da offered. "It's on the way."
"I…" Jon glanced down at his cane before he let out a sigh. "Yes, please. I would appreciate that."
It didn't take very long to fetch Jon to his house. Da gave Jon his contact number in case he and his husband needed any help. Jon stared openly, expression unreadable for a moment, before he gave a brief nod and rushed into the house.
On the way home, Da was frowning. "He seems familiar…" he muttered when Trish asked. "Like I've seen him somewhere before."
***
Stupid Da. Stupid Ma.
They weren't listening to her. In a fit of anger, she ran out of the house and to the first place she could think of. It wasn't fair, she thought. Trish's lower lip wobbled as she curled harder into herself.
Suddenly, the door to the cottage at the bottom of the hill opened. A large old man with a thick beard wearing a pair of boxers and a singlet emerged and his eyes fell upon the small girl who had squished herself into a corner of the porch. "Oh my god!" squeaked the old man. "Wh-What are you doing out here? Where are your parents?"
Trish glared up through the tears in her eyes. "You're not Jon," she said, her voice rough from crying.
"Oh, he's… he's out right now," the man said, smiling apologetically. "Would you like to come in and wait for him? Or, uh, or not. We can wait for him outside."
Trish nodded.
"Feel free to sit in the chair there.”
Trish shook her head.
“Okay. Would you like something to drink then? We have tea, and milk."
"Milk."
With a gentle smile, the man went back into the house and came out, dressed in a knee-length skirt and a loose shirt. He had also brought out a cup of milk, which he placed in Trish's hand. He went back inside for a moment, before returning with a piping hot cup of tea for himself.
The man limped over to a rocking chair and sat down heavily with a sigh. As he placed his own cup down on the table beside himself, Trish noticed the massive scar on his left leg that ran from his mid-calf up to his knee. "Are you Jon's husband?" she asked. "Martin?"
The man's eyes practically lit up. "Oh yes!" He drummed his fingers against his belly delightfully. "I'm guessing that you're Trish then?"
She nodded.
"Jon's told me a bit about you," he said.
"Are you also non… nonbinary," she said the word slowly to make sure she got it right.
From the look of it, she had because Martin smiled again. "Nope. I'm a man. Just one who finds skirts incredibly comfortable."
"I don't like skirts," Trish said frankly. "They're too wooshy and swishy."
"Perfectly understandable." Martin nodded.
"Where's Jon?"
"He's doing groceries."
Trish stuck her lower lip out. "He's always doing groceries."
Something between a laugh and a sigh escaped Martin's chest. "He is, isn't he? My poor husband just can't sit still. He has to go to the market once a day or he'll get cranky. Or crankier than usual."
Trish nodded as she took a sip from her cup.
"So, what are you doing here?"
Trish lowered her cup. "I don't know."
"Did something happen to make you cry?" Martin asked.
Curling in harder into herself, she muttered, "I'm not telling."
"Oh, um… Sure."
"Does it hurt?"
"Hm?" Martin followed her gaze to his knee. "Oh, you mean my knee? It was hurting really badly before I went to the hospital. I mean, it's still hurting a bit now because I'm recovering so I take a bit of painkiller to deal with that. It'll get better soon."
"Does it hurt when they do it on you?"
"Mm… not really? They give you an injection that makes you sleep through the entire surgery. It's kind of when you wake up that you start feeling the pain."
Trish frowned. It sounded a bit unrealistic. How could you sleep through being cut open? She didn’t get the opportunity to ask Martin anything though because, in the distance, a small figure could be seen hobbling towards the house. Martin immediately straightened up. "There he is," he said, before waving.
Trish followed suit with a big wave of her own, putting her entire arm into it.
“You have a little visitor,” Martin said as soon as Jon stepped past the gate.
“I can see that very well,” Jon said, rolling his eyes. He made a small detour to their side of the porch to give Martin’s forehead a kiss. Then, he looked at Trish and probably noticed her red-rimmed eyes. "Did something happen?"
Trish frowned. "Ma and Da won't let me have a birthday party. They said it's a waste of time and I'll forget it anyway."
"Oh…" Jon pursed his lips. "Do they know you're here now?"
"No. And I don't want them to."
"They must be worried sick," Martin remarked with a small frown.
Shrinking into herself, Trish muttered sourly, "Let them."
“I know you’re angry at them and you don’t want to see them right now but it is quite unkind to cause them needless worry,” Jon reasoned gently. “I shall give them a call, okay? Just to let them know you’re here. I promise I’ll let you stay here until you’re ready to talk to them again. But you wouldn't want them to think you're in danger, right?”
Trish pouted hard, but eventually nodded.
“Right,” Jon said with a nod before heading into the house. He came back out after about 5 minutes with some cut fruits. “We have permission for you to stay until dinner,” he said as he sat down in the other chair with a low grunt. “Now, I hope you didn’t have to suffer Martin’s nagging for too long while I was away.”
“Nagging?!” Martin shot back with an offended voice. “And don’t you think I suffer when you insist on leaving a trail of cups all over the house? Do you think you’re Gretel or something?”
“Actually,” Jon said, knowing full well what he was doing, “Hansel was the one who left the trails.”
Martin groaned comically and Trish giggled a little.
***
“You know what?” Trish yelled as she threw the door open. From the kitchen, Martin made a weird squeaky noise.
“It would be polite to knock. Martin’s already got a weak enough heart already,” Jon chided as he stood up from his sofa and went to the entrance.
“Oh… Um...” She gently closed the door again before knocking. Then, she patiently waited as the sound of Jon’s shuffling slippers got closer.
“Trish,” Jon said exasperatedly as he opened the door. “You don’t have to close the door again if you’re already inside. We know you’re here.”
“Oh, okay,” Trish said, walking in.
Martin came into view and he was laughing a little. “God, you sound like such a curmudgeon.”
Frowning, Trish asked, “Cur…?”
“A grumpy old person,” Martin explained. “You know, like Jon.”
Teasingly, Jon poked Martin’s rib. “Oh yeah? Is that resentment in your voice, Mr Blackwood-Sims?”
Martin grabbed the offending hand. “Oh, absolutely not. You’re my curmudgeon. I’m not resenting you anytime soon.”
“Sap,” Jon muttered, covering his mouth with his hand, but that did nothing to hide the smile in his voice.
Trish rolled her eyes. “Aaaaanyway,” she said, putting her hands on her hips, “I’m here to announce something.”
“Yes, yes, announce away,” Jon said.
But he was making goo-goo eyes at Martin so Trish decided she’d leave the very important announcement of her birthday party for another day.
***
Having chicken pox and being forced to stay in her room for an entire week was already bad enough. But then, it just had to be on the week of her birthday. What’s worse was that Trish had gone and scratched at her skin, and even though it was healed, she had some scars on her arms and face. And she really did not appreciate scars as a birthday present.
Ma chided her for not listening and handed her a bottle of cream to apply over the scars. “If you properly apply it, then maybe it’ll get rid of those scars,” she said.
Not wanting any of the scars to remain, Trish religiously applied the cream every night. But they didn’t seem to be going away anytime soon.
“It isn’t the end of the world if it does leave scars anyway. Look at the both of us! We have scars and we’re doing fine,” Jon comforted her, which wasn’t very comforting.
“It’s okay if you two have scars. You’re old people anyway,” Trish said, popping one of Martin’s freshly baked cookies into her mouth.
“Ouch!” Martin said, sitting down beside Jon at the dining table. “That’s a bit mean, Trish.”
Wincing, she muttered, “Sorry.”
“Apology accepted,” Jon said. He peered over at her arm. "I think it's fading. It's just a bit slow so be patient with it."
Trish nodded. However, even as she sat there talking with them, her index finger kept returning to rub over the most prominent scar on her forearm. The tiny bump of the scar annoyed her and she wished she could tear it out, but she knew that would likely only make the scar worse.
"You know, Trish," Martin said, "it's normal for kids to get scars. We all get scars from at your age too."
"Jon too?"
"I…" Jon frowned. "I don't recall much of when I was young unfortunately."
"How come?"
"Complicated stuff," Jon said, making a vague gesture. "It'd be too long a story to explain."
"Well," Martin interjected, "he doesn't remember his. But I do." He lifted his arm to show the pale jagged patch on his elbow. "This one I got from when I fell off a tree outside my house. I got a kite snagged onto the branches so I had to get it down. It's a bit faded now actually."
"Yeah, but that's a cool scar. Mine is just from stupid chicken pox," Trish grumbled. Then, she lifted her head. "What about those though? The dot-dot ones both you and Jon have? They're not from chicken pox too, right? They're really big."
"Oh, these?" Martin said, running his hand over the pockmark scars on his face and arms.
"Yeah. How did the both of you get it? It looks really bad…" Trish frowned. "What kind is it?"
"Um… yeah," Jon said. "It... It was a… bad disease."
Martin sighed. "It was an office-wide infection. From when Jon and I worked in the same place." He then switched the subject by showing a long scar he had on his finger. "Oh, Trish, look at this one. Guess how I got this one? It was kind of dumb. I got it when I was, I think, 5 years old? I stuck my finger into the fan."
Trish scrunched her face. "Why did you do that?!" she shouted. "What if it got chopped off?"
"I don't know to be honest. I was five, Trish. I wasn't a very smart five-year-old."
"Five-year-olds generally aren't very smart," she assured Martin, who threw his head back and laughed.
They continued to talk about scars and dumb injuries for the rest of the afternoon. And by the time Trish went home, she realised that even if the scars remained in the end, she wouldn't be that upset.
***
As Martin’s knee got better, he began to join Jon’s grocery trips more often. The marketplace got a little bit more noisy on the days Martin went with Jon.
Firstly, Martin and the fruit seller seemed to have this bit that involved making fun of Jon, even though Trish didn’t necessarily understand most of the jokes. (For some reason, Martin likes to make fun of Jon for liking peaches.)
Then, Martin had what Jon called “itchy fingers'', which meant that Martin liked touching things he wasn’t supposed to. There was this one time when Martin had decided to poke something pink on the side of a carton, which turned out to be used gum. “You’d think you’d grow out of touching things unnecessarily, Martin,” Jon reprimanded as he dragged his husband to the toilet to wash his hands.
Trish just thought they were quite funny.
Sometimes, she would be with Da for groceries when she bumped into them. On those days, Da would talk to them about grown-up stuff that Trish had no hope of understanding. But it was fine since, with Martin at the front seat most of the time, this meant that Trish can lean to her side and whisper to Jon.
Sometimes, Trish would see Jon and Martin walking around together in the neighbourhood. More often than not, Martin joined Jon on his daily trips to the market, and they would slowly walk hand-in-hand. It was during those times that Jon most often had a smile on his face, and at times bursting into uproarious laughter.
Sometimes, Trish would dash over to greet them. People often told Trish that she was a bit too chatty for her own good. But around those two, she felt that maybe it was alright to talk a bit more because Martin would always smile warmly at Trish as she talked about the frog she found on the side of the road or about her stupid homework assignment. Jon, on the other hand, often had something to add to whatever Trish was saying, be it with questions or a weird trivia of his own.
Of course, there were days where Trish was far too busy to call out to them. It was highly impractical to rush out to them during a game of Hide-and-Seek.
Sometimes though, the two of them would walk especially close to each other, and they’d be whispering, or at least, one of them would be. There were times when Martin looked greyer than usual, and his gaze would be distant even as he ran his fingers along railings, fences, or any surface available. Other times, Jon would look rattled, his eyes darting about and breaths shallow. The non-cane-wielding hand would not be holding Martin’s on those days, instead, it would be tracing the scar over his neck, or twisting his hair in a quiet frenzy.
And then, sometimes, they would sit together on the park bench, holding hands and whispering and chuckling to themselves.
Those were the days when Trish knew better than to disturb them.

*Slides a 5 dollar bill* So what are some of your ideas for those Little Nightmares fics?
OH BOY ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO KNOW.
Weeeell, I have various idea that I'm writing down all at the same time. I'll list the various AUs here.
The Gang! AU
Ok no this isn't some sort of Criminal AU, I literally didn't know what to name it JSKDKS
Anyway, I'm actually writing this along with a friend of mine. It's based on a rp we had and it's quite long. We're writing one chapter each, I'm currently finishing chapter five. It kinda follows the story of Little Nightmares 2, but at the same time is canon divergent. Does that make sense?
We added two of our kid OCs to travel with Mono and Six!
Their names are Zip and Emerald respectively, from left to right! Zip was made by my friend while Emerald is my kid. The art was done by me!
They're not the only OCs we made for this story; we also have five glitch kids, a couple of bullies and a patient from the Hospital.
Since it's long, we decided to split it into three parts. The first part takes place in the Pale City, the second part in the Maw and the third in a location made up by us that we're still crafting.
The good news: Mono doesn't get dropped and Runaway Kid is alive!
The bad news: everything else literally every single thing
It's gonna have a good ending, though. It's the least we can do after everything we put these kids through😭
Restaurant Maw! AU
Just the monsters of LN put in a modern setting! Not only that, it's Maw employees centric!
Basically in this AU the Maw is a very well-known restaurant and hotel, in a very similar fashion to the bathouse in Spirited Away. The Lady is obviously the boss, the Ferryman becomes the driver of the Maw's personal bus, Roger is the keeper, Bellhop is still a bellhop and also the maître d'hotel (aka the guy who makes sure the guests are comfortable etc.), the Chefs are still the Chefs - their names are Bruce and Bernard! And lastly, the Nomes are a bunch of waiters, bellhops and cooks.
Things are going very well for eveyone until one day the Chefs go outside for a smoking break and they find a baby in a box. They take her in and keep her hidden for a couple of days before the Lady invitably finds out.
She decides to let them keep her with the condition that they raise her on their own and take care of all of her needs wihout bothering her - which of course doesn't happen at all and eventually all the employees in the Maw grow attached to baby Sawako nicknamed Six.
This one has all my favorite tropes: slice of life, found family, and I'm hoping to achieve comedy (which is very complicated for me because I have a very dramatic style).
Plus the Chefs are italian because I'm italian and I claimed them, so if you want to see one of them teach the Lady how to swear in italian you came in the right place.
RCG and the Pretender Live! AU
And they lived! I started writing this immediately after I finished VLN but I was blinded by pain so it's a little messy. I have to edit it.
But basically the point is: they survived! But are stuck on land. The first to wake up is RCG, who I named Valeria, and she spots the Pretender a few feet from her and realizes that somehow they both managed to float ashore. Luckily for her, the Nest is now very far away, although they can still see it from the distance.
At first she wants to leave the Pretender there, but then decides to bring her along, tying her hands behind her back first. And so begins the girls voyage in the big wide world, trying to survive and becoming besties in the process.
Im debating wheter I want the Pretender to develop a little crush on RCG or not. Mhhhh. I'll let you guys know.
Mono Jumps in Time! AU
THIS ONE WAS INSPIRED BY THIS ADORABLE FANART BY @kelpermoosee !! Go check them out their art is adorable!!! This is also a Mono centric AU!
So basically! When Six is kidnapped by the Thin Man and Mono goes to save her, his high distress and strong, swirling emotions lead him to not only travel from a place to the next, but to also accidentally go back in time.
He jumps out from a TV but, surprise surprise, he's not in the Pale City anymore. He's landed right in front of the Pretender, who immediately takes a liking to him and wants him to be her new friend. Mono is extremely confused and at first and doesn't realize what happened, so obviously he tries to go back to the Pale City, but then he sees a girl in a yellow raincoat and immediately assumes she's Six.
He assumes that's where the Thin Man brought her, so he tries to run after her, but he's costantly hindered by either the Pretender or her staff. Will he ever get to "Six" and realize that he jumped in time? I'll decide, because this story is still under construction.
Six Forgets! AU
You know that quote from the comics?
"What's the last thing you remember? Tell me. If you don't tell us, you're sure to forget altogether."
Beautiful. And also what prompted me to come up with this AU.
Some things to clarify: the Eye is a collective conciousness that feeds off from negative emotions, the Thin Man lives but can't leave the Pale City, and The Lady is a grown up Six. The Maw kids from the comics are here! Plus a few OCs of mine.
And lastly: Six couldn't handle the guilt from dropping Mono and repressed all memories involving him altogheter, so she completely forgot about him.
Six gets on the Maw, but this time instead of waking up in a suitcase, she's brought to Roger adn the other children by the Ferryman. There, she befriends a few children but no one gets closer to her than the Runaway Kid. They both want to be free and plan an escape together.
In the meantime, Mono is still trapped in the Signal Tower, but he's convinced that Six let him slip by accident and that she'll come back for him. (The Eye is very frustated with him bc they be planning on feeding on his sadness and rage and then he has the audacity to be hopeful? The nerve!) That's until he gets a glimpse of his best friend and this unknown child through one of the TVs on the Maw, joking and playing with each other, and she confesses to this... no one, really, that he's the best friend she's ever had.
As you can imagine, Mono goes feral. The Eye couldn't be happier.
Chaos ensues! We got a lot of angst, violence, Monster!Mono and also some wholesome moments. Also out of context spoiler: RK and Six lead a revolution.
The Lost Ones
This one is just a bunch of quick drabbles that talk about the glitching remains. They all deserved better.
Hunter and Veronica
I was not gonna miss the occasion of writing simp hunter. Take it or leave it.
Based on my Hunter theory!
My beautiful terrible disaster of a man works on the Maw as a chef, but no one really knows why since he's not good at it. Fortunately, the vast majority of the Guests is just too hungry to care and the current Lady, a woman with a scarecrow mask, doesn't want to fire him. A few Guests have complains, though; for example, a Teacher who seemingly never blinks and a very massive Doctor, whom he befriends.
One day, a filming crew gets on the Maw and the Lady informs her staff that they will be staying for a while to film a commercial-documentary of the restaurant, which will bring more and more Guests. With the crew came a famous, very talented chef named Veronica who has her own extremely successful cooking show, who offers to help the current chef as a thank you for letting them stay without having to pay.
Initially the Hunter is not too happy about this. In his eyes he doesn't need the help, but they start getting closer and closer with time.
This will probably be wholesome but end in a very bad, tragic way. I'd say I'm sorry but I'm not lol
✓✓✓
And that's it for now. I have some other things planned with my monster OCs (btw y'all wanna see them?), but this is the whole thing. It may be updated in the future since I always seem to get more and more ideas!

I don't know how you guys feel anout them, but I just love the Skellington kids, almost as much as I love Jack AND Sally, so...
Nightmare Before Christmas Headcanons PART 2 (FT. The Skellington kids)
Right off the bat: lay a hand on ANY of the kids, and Jack and Sally will put you in a grave.
Jack isn't a big fan of Fourth of July. The fireworks make him remember getting shot out of the sky.
Sally remembers her life before Halloween Town. She doesn't like talking about it.
People rarely see Sally angry. And that's an insanely good thing.
Jack loves abstract patterns like Sally's dress, where different colors and styles collide and make something incredible.
The witches and other females were insanely jealous of Sally when she and Jack got together. That jealousy became, 'well, damn it' sorrow when they saw the triplets.
Lock, Shock, and Barrel have interacted with the triplets, but don't get closer than glances toward each other on the street; they don't want to face Jack's pure, unbridled fury or see Sally mad.
Jack is extremely glad to have all three triplets, mainly because he wanted to have children back when he was alive.
The children asked about the electric chair, and Jack lied bysaying it was something he found and liked. Luna was smart enough to catch it and asked what really happened. The only thing Jack let her know was that he died, and she didn't need to know anymore than that.
Never try lying to Sally. She'll know instantly.
Jack's 87% sure Sally's never killed anyone, or was angry enough to get to that point, but he genuinely doesn't want to know what either is like.
Daemon is arguably the closest with Sally
While the Easter Bunny still hasn't forgiven Jack, Santa at least knows Jack is harmless... as long as he has something to keep him busy and away from taking over holidays.
Jacob and Luna would absolutely kill each other, if they were alive. It never gets worse than a firefight, but Daemon still traps them in a 'get along' shirt and locks them in a room together.
Sally joined Jack on a Halloween scare once. You would be surprised at how much she got hit on.
She wasn't a fan of it, but got a clear idea of why Jack did.
After the Christmas incident, Jack listens to all of Sally's visions, which has made her consider messing with him, though she never did.
Zero's more than glad to have Sally and the triplets around; they keep Jack from doing anything crazy.
Luna, Jacob, and Zero are best friends; neither argue around him and Zero is just glad neither tries making him a model(looking at you, Daemon).
Zero's new favorite place to sleep is in Sally's lap.
Jack and Sally share a bed, but Zero keeps sleeping between them because the triplets are already enough for him.
Jacob doesn't like the sound of high notes on a violin.
Since all he tastes is cold peanut butter, Jacob and Jack have seen what different things taste like, things like apples, lemons, pumpkins, pickles, and even spicy peppers.
Jacob was severely disappointed at feeling like he was just eating peanut butter, but Jack claimex that this was his worst idea ever,in the worst way imaginabl; he ate a lemon slice like an orange, a pickle, and a pepper.
Jack's called the Pumpkin King because he was found in the pumpkin patch, and because his original idea was to break out of a pumpkin, which didn't work as well as he'd wanted.
Dr. Finklestien wasn't sure about Jack being a partner for Sally, but was sold when Sally tripped and Jack caught her and carried her for the rest of the day.
Despite Dr. Finklestien's opinions, Jewel absolutely loved Sally.
You should've seen her reaction towards the twins.
Lock tried hitting on Luna once, just once, and Daemon and Jacob drop kicked him, much to Jack's delight.
After the Christmas incident, Jack having a new idea is like a Targaryen being born, except instead of gods flipping a coin and the world holding its breath, Jack opens his mouth and the entire town holds its breath.
Here's what would happen if Oogie Boogie was still around or we had the triplets around during the movie or Oogie's Revenge
If getting flayed and cooked alive was because Oogie threatened Sally, then Jack would tear him apart with his hands, consequences be damned.
Jack would fight harder and be more brutal in his fights against Oogie in Oogie's Revenge.
Jacob would help, because he loves his siblings and mother, even though Jack would tell him to go home, where it's safe.
Oh, yeah, Luna and Daemon got kidnapped and hidden somewhere, but escaped and found Jack and Jacob.
Luna used a poison fog attack on Shock and bolted.
Daemon, however, was found in thr fountain because, and don't laugh when you hear this, he escaped, found some rogue, evil skeletons and ghosts, and then attacked one of them, jumping on a ghost's back and holding on as it flew and then vanished, dropping him; in its defense, he bites hard. The rogue skeletons amd ghosts caught up to him, and some larger skeletons saw him and he ran like hell, all of them behind him. To get away, he climbed up a tree, lit a large skeleton on fire, and then fell in the river, where he was carried until ending up in a sort of gutter system and into the fountain, where he was found.
He repeated the story to Sally and Luna and Sally genuinely wondered if Daemon and Jack had the same IQ.
Why does Sally worry so much? Because Jack's either a blind optimist, or genuinely couldn't tell he was getting shot at with airstrike missiles, didn't get that smoke and fire on Christmas is usually a bad thing, and didn't rethink the fact that people don't like getting scared on Christmas.

DSMP FanFic Recommendations I
So, a few days @nastiiuu did a nice Recommendation of a DSMP FanFic called Evermore. So, per request, here's a list of different DSMP Recommendations that I have from my History, Mark For Later, and from my Bookmarks! Sorry, @nastiiuu that it took me a while to get this up! But I hope you all enjoy!
Stay safe and I will put the Summaries and Tigger Warnings in as well!
So, I will start off with the one the @nastiiuu recommended a few days ago!
Evermore
Summary: Prince Theseus, a child of blonde and blue, a child of isolation and a crave for touch. He's the youngest in the Royal Family, and somehow the most forgotten. The most neglected. The most alone.
Tucked away in his tower, the young prince watches the world move on without him, watches his family welcome two new princes into their arms, and yet reject him when he cries desperately from nightmares or shivers from a painful wound.
"Wilby?" The child had murmured, all curious and hesitant at once. He was tucked in his older brother's lap, watching as his other sibling sparred with their father. "We'll always be together, right? Forever and ever?"
Wilbur smiled. "Of course, Tommy. Forever and ever."
The Hanahaki rising in young Theseus' throat says otherwise.
TW: Isolation, Hanahki Disease, Angst no happy ending, Character Death, Villain!Dream, Manuplation.
The Exchange: My Life for Yours: I'm still reading this one, I'm on chapter 17 and it's ssssssssooooooooo good right now!
Summary: Tommy was a liability. Too annoying and too loud.
Techno didn't care about this child.
"Unless of course, you want call on that favor"
"Ok"
Then why he suddenly did?
TW: Villain!Dream, Canon Diverse, Kidnapping, Demons/Dreamons, Demon!Dream, Dreamon!Dream, Isolation, Manipulation, "A Deal with the Devil."
The Inevitability of Change: I just got caught up with this one and oh my Ghoul! This is intense and so good! I can't wait for the update!
Summary: Fuck it, he was allowed to do this, it would be better for everyone else anyway. They could do whatever they wanted and he wouldn’t be in their way. He wouldn’t cause problems anymore and he could have the perfect life that he had always wanted.
The egg extended a blood vine out to him. "Do we have a deal?" There was a level of smugness that Tommy recognized all too well from all his wars with Dream, it was the sound of an opponent knowing they’d won.
“We do, you dumb ugly bitch.”
or
Tommyinnit hated change. He'd witnessed so many people he cared about in his life change and hardly ever for the better. He just wished things could go back to the way they were when he had everything he ever wanted, a loving family who cared about him, a best friend who was always by his side. He craves this so badly that he makes a deal with the egg to get everything he's ever wanted.
or or
Tommy becomes a coraline kinnie
TW: Derealization, Unreality, Manipulation, Child Abandonment, Violence (later chapters), Explosions (later chapters).
Ties of the Puppet
Summary: Tommy hates how his mind feels trapped at that moment with Tubbo. The look in his eyes one Tommy had been forced to see far too many times. Wilbur’s eyes.
or
Tommy struggles with the trauma of his life and unhealthy relationships, Wilbur tries his hand at redemption, Phil and Techno learn to heal what's been lost.
TW: Mental Health Issues, Violence, Abuse, Redemption Arc for Tubbo, Healing for Tommy/Phil/Techno, some of the characters will seem a little OOC, Canon Diverse.

TW: Manipulation, Mention of Character Death (Character doesn't really die but the other characters don't know that), Suicidal Thoughts, Violence, Protégé AU, Tommy becomes Dream's Protégé, Angst, Whump.
Mask: I'm still working on this one but it's really, really, really good! A lot of Angst and Manipulation. So, please be careful when reading!
Summary: Dream knew Tommy was a naturally clingy child. That's why he found such satisfaction in having him exiled.
Dream didn't plan on Tommy clinging to him.
Dream was going to take advantage of the situation.
All Tommy needed was a bit of a push and then he would be completely broken.
Ready to be remodeled into the perfect weapon.
TW: Suicidal Thoughts, Attempted Suicide, Manipulation, Emotional and Mental Manipulation, Protégé AU, Broken!Tommy, Angst, Angst (possibly no happy ending but I'm not sure), Whump.
Lion's Cup, Tiger Stripes: I just finished this one and it's so good! Exile Arc but with a twist! Guest Appearances by Sad-ist, Late-August, Derivakat.
Summary: Tommy Innit knew what Dream was doing and was sure as hell not going through with it. So, by the third week of exile, as Dream starts to escalate his punishments, he leaves. One month later he runs into Purpled and hires him as a bodyguard while he travels.
Or Tommy runs away, stays in one village for a month to clear his head and decides to go travelling while dragging Purpled with him.
Or road trip pog.
TW: Angst, Angst with a happy, Found Family, Violence, Testing, Scares, Explosions (later chapters), I think that's all.

Summary: After blowing up a nation, Wilbur throws a sword down at his father's feet and begs to be killed.
Phil, however, takes one look at the state of his children and decides he has other plans.
(post november 16th au where wilbur doesn't die. instead a family leaves the smp entirely, and learn how to live with each other again.)
"Fuck, I - I can't forgive either of you right now," Tommy says quietly. Despite the words, he hugs Wilbur tighter. "One day, though. I think one day I will."
"And we're still brothers, right?" Wilbur dares ask. Techno inhales sharply beside him.
They get a choked laugh in reply.
"Yeah. Brothers."
TW: Angst, Mention of wanting to die, Healing, a long road of healing, Mental Health Issues, Family Bonds, Angst but I think there is a happy ending, Violence, Mention of the L'Manburg exploding. Redemption Arc, Healing.
Breathing's Just A Rhythm: I finished this fic a few weeks ago and my ghoul! This is so good! Time Travel Fic with Dream, Schlatt, Tubbo, Tommy, and of course CHAT!
Summary: POGTOPIA??? WHAT ARE WE DOING HERE?? TIMETRAVELBLADE. technotravel
“Chat, I did not time travel,” Techno said exhaustedly, “I don’t know what gave you that idea, but please calm yourselves.”
The voices started obnoxiously whispering at the top of their lungs. HE DOESN’T KNOW. PANIC
Or: Tommy, Tubbo, Jschlatt, and Dream all end up in the past. (Oh, and the Chat comes too) (mcd is a villain, this fic has a happy ending)
Or OR! Dream attempts to Time Travel in the past but winds only go back a few months ago during Pogtopia Area and he winds up bring a few unexpected victors with him! I think I got them all?
Wrong Place for Redemption: This one of the stories that helped inspired Breathing is Just a Rhythm! Time Travel Fic!
Summary: -Previously titled Time Will Decide. Name taken from lyrics in 'A Sadness Runs Through Him' by The Hosiers
“Okay, why don’t you go see him.” Tommy didn’t know what he thought the afterlife was going to be like, hell he didn’t even know if it was a real thing. Maybe he’d see Wilbur, possibly Schlatt, but he didn’t expect to see a white castle and Karl.
Or where Tommy looses his final life to Dream in the prison only to be teleported back in time.
OR where Tommy is given a second chance and isn't going to blow it, not even if things start to get revealed (things that change everything) and discoveries are made.
This whole book has TW's: Child abuse, violence/murder, gore/blood, implied/referenced suicide, suicide, drinking, etc.
Parental Rights: Another good on going fic for me! Can you tell that I love some SBI/Found Family Fics here?
Summary: Sam wants to be there for Tommy. Wants to be his dad. Wants to be the one Tommy comes to when he's in trouble or excited over something. He'd happily legally adopt Tommy, but well... Tommy's actual father is in the way of that. Sam thought with how distanced Phil was with his son it would be easy to persuade him to give his parental rights over to Sam. But well... Tommy's stubbornness had to come from somewhere, right?
TW: Sleep Walking, Mentions of Exile, Healing Arc for Tommy, Healing Arc for Sam, Healing Arc for Tubbo, SBI, Healing Arc for Techno.
Allium: This is still on going, but oh man! This is getting really good!
Summary: What if Dreams plan for the Disc War finale had worked?
Tubbo dead, Tommy in the prison, SMP under his control. Allium Ashes.
TW: Major Character Death, Ghostbo (Ghost Tubbo), Manipulation, Isolation, Imprisonment, Prisoner Innit, Making someone believe they are responsible for something they didn't do, Kidnapping, Rescue Mission.
And How Can I Compete (With The World At Your Feet): God AU and this is really Fangtastic! Rated M for Graphic Violence and Attempted Sacrifice.
Summary: Tommy has been kept away from the world and held captive for four years, and now he’s about to be used as a sacrifice to a god. A blood god, to be specific. The Blood God. But, instead of accepting his captor’s sacrifice, the Blood God is in debt to Tommy. And he’s going to save him.
A universe where Technoblade, Wilbur, and Phil are all gods who have become quite protective of a mortal fifteen year old without a home.
This concept was based on a text post I saw, I think! I can’t find it anymore, but if you see it let me know!
TW: Blood, Violence, Attempted Sacrifice, Villain!Dream, Villain!BadBoyHalo, Occult Setting, God AU, Blood God!Techno, Angel of Death!Philza, God!Wilbur, Angel!Tubbo, Angel!Ranboo.
Death's Forest: This is a nice little One-Shot for the SBI, and Dadza fans! Set during Tommy's Exile. Don't worry! Dadza to the rescue!
Summary: “Can I see him?” Phil asks, blinking owlishly, as if he’s simply just asking. As if he’s not holding a threat behind those light words.
“Don’t push your limits.” Dream responds, and Phil only smiles with a slow nod.
The next day, Dream wishes he had answered differently.
Or
Phil isn’t quite human. He wants to visit Tommy during exile.
TW: I don't think there's any TW here, but if there is, please let me know!
Prince Theseus: Royal AU! Hybrid Tommy. Prince Tommy (Theseus).
Summary: Prince Theseus Craft of the Anartitic Empire, A child who could bring joy to anyone's day left to be forgotten by his family left to spend his days in his tower with nothing but his Maid and dear friend as company
Left to watch his older brothers laugh and smile as his father looks at them with love and the eyes of a proud parent he never saw directed to him, watch them both receive the love he craved so desperately from his father. Left him to envy his brothers yet grow jealous as that jealousy turns to a small flame of hatred growing steadily as time passes leaving him to make his final decision.
No longer will he be known as Theseus but as the Amazing Tommyinnit who could do anything who will prove his former family wrong and show he is better than what they think.
Which leads him to where he is now, a runaway prince who finds a new family brought together by hardship and their love of traveling the endless seas.
AKA :
16 yr old Prince Theseus changes his name to Tommyinnit and runs away from his royal family who neglected him and finds a real family on a ship who just so happened to be pirates as well.
TW: Isolation, Mention of a Minor Character Death, Running Away, Royal AU, Hybrid Tommy, SBI, Neglect, Pirates, Found Family, Angst, Hurt and Comfort, Magic.
Therapy Marriage: Okay, I'm adding this one for some Wholesomeness, and Fluff with some Angst but there should be a Happy Ending!
Summary: but for some reason, tubbo (and possibly ranboo, although he doubted this was his idea) had got it into his head that tommy needed therapy or some shit.
which, fine, maybe he had a little bit of an issue. he did freak out at damage, and weapons, and he had reached out to puffy, but he was okay! he didn’t need tubbo to pity him.
but- here was where the weird part came in- tubbo wanted tommy in his marriage.
TL:DR Tubbo wants to help Tommy and decides that the best method is by marrying him as well. Ranboo just goes along with it.

You curious little thing - [Yandere!Dragon x Reader - Short Fanfiction]:
" Deep in the forest, up in the mountains, legend says that a dragon sleeps deep within the caves. And as the old story goes, gold awaits inside his domain, but only those courageous enough to enter the deep cave and defeat the dragon, would be able to take the creature's treasure.
Many have persuaded the quest of defeating said dragon, yet no one ever came back to tell the story.
And while you sit at the comfort of your small cottage reading about the old tales of the dragon's cave, you can't help but consider the story to be just that, a story. A piece of fiction made to scare the local children away from the mountains, or to enchant those that were easily invested into these types of stories.
It seems like you're one of those that were fascinated by the old tales. Regardless of if you find it true or not. The old tales still hold a mysterious charm that manages to keep you intrigued no matter what age you re-read them.
Tales of the forest spirits protecting their land with mischievous wit, tales of monsters that crawled out of your bed to cause nightmares on the simple minded, tales of mighty dragons who could easily rule the world if they so pleased to.
Yet they didn't. Either because they didn't want to, or maybe they really didn't exist. Who knows, right [Y/N]? Not that you, a simple commoner, would know any better.
Although, from the tales you read, isn't always the common folk the ones to first encounter these things?
It always ends bad, but still.
A commoner would be the first one to be affected by the wrath of such supernatural creatures.
However, as stated before, there is no way of knowing if such a thing is real or not, right? It's been eons since the last time someone even mentioned a dragon's presence in your kingdom, and it's been centuries that the concepts of dragons had fallen into the mythological category.
There hasn't been a single person to mention the beast's names in years. There was no visible way of them being remotely real, right? That sounded absurd.
But of course, like all tales are written, your's seem to have reached the beginning of your own personal adventure when the king mentioned the need of soldiers willing to face the beast inside the cave, who was presumably hibernating throughout this whole time.
And of course, the public had only laughed at this sort of news. You see, your king's authority over the entire land has been dangling by a thin thread. The taxes, the frauds, the imminent wars threatening to occur at any second now, has helped a small portion of people to start questioning if not downright rebelling against him and his reign of terror.
The revolution was rising slowly, yet something needed to push it forward, the straw that broke the camel's back.
"What could it be?" You might be wondering.
How about kidnapping and force recruitment with the help of blackmailing? Specifically targeting the poorest people in the kingdom and taking their family members hostage if they don't comply?
Sounds so evil that you may think it's bullshit right? So inhumane, that the villain of this story might as well be your crazy king, right?
Oh, [Y/N]. You're absolutely right, yet a little bit wrong considering that even if such an evil act sounds absurd, it's absolutely real. It's part of your reality now.
And even if your king is a vile creature of pure hatred and deserves to be fed to the rats, by being a terrible ruler, husband, and father- You were soon about to learn that there are worse, more powerful forces that can easily overpower the insanity of that sad, pathetic evil man.
To your dismay, your family was one of the chosen ones to suffer from this. Because of poverty, you and your father lived in the outskirts of the kingdom. It was perfect for the king and his soldiers, as you and your father lived distant from the main town, if any of you two ever die on the process of going into the beast's cave, or disobey the king's orders, no one would notice if you two were suddenly wiped from the face of the Earth.
And of course, holding hostage just one person was easier than multiple family members. Although your king was absolutely insane if not completely psychotic, you could at least understand how he moved his pieces in this massive game of chess.
I mean, yes, you understand his reasoning. Still doesn't mean he is right.
Soldiers didn't wait too long to show up and try to force your father to go with them. But you didn't take none of that, you wouldn't let your dying father be taken by them.
You screamed, you shout, you let venom spill out of your mouth by each profanity you threw at the soldiers and the king they claimed to serve. It didn't take long before the general noticed that you were one of the rascals forming a rebellion. Well, you didn't really need to be officially part of the revolution, just disagreeing was enough to make the general decide to take you instead of your old father.
You can still remember how he was trying to scream his lungs out, to stop the soldiers somehow.
This was it, right? The day, for you and possibly all these other commoners to die in the name of an asshole. How honoring.
Among you and other miserably unlucky individuals, there were all kinds of different people. From innocent, to criminals. From young to old, from poor to… Well, mildly not as poor. Nobles would never be subjected to this, you know that. All of these individuals were carried away by a carriage. All crammed into one little vehicle, away from the public sight.
After being far enough from the town and now deep within the forest, the soldiers commanded all of you to get out of the carriage as now you'll begin to walk straight to the mountain while carrying… Gold?
"- It's a gift from the king. Survive long enough, and you'll be able to take it with you." The general said, his tone being condescending as ever.
You could…. Technically run away, right now. They haven't really put any restrains in any of you-
"- Over there!" A soldier alerted the general, who looked little surprised by seeing two of your group running away with the gold in hands.
Without hesitation, or even a slight hint of empathy, the general shot both with his crossbow. Their bodies fall flat in the forest ground, with all that gold and jewelry accompanying them. All that gold being wasted and left behind, just like the bodies of the people carrying them.
You felt sick, the need to vomit was surfacing through your stomach. This- This is terrible!? This is so cruel! How can they continue to walk like nothing happened??
God, how did a once prospering kingdom has now fallen in such a low pit?
As you can imagine, the walk was torturous and it felt like it was going forever. Of course, a lot of questions were emerging about the strange situation.
One: how did the king know and was certain that the myth of the dragon was real and that the dragon was awake?
Two: why didn't he call his own army to attend to such issues instead of the common folk being forced to go with his wishes?
Actually, now that you think about it, why are there so few skilled, trained soldiers taking a bunch of people to a cave unprepared?
Carrying a bunch of gold for fucks sake, this stuff is heavy!
If it was truly a gift from the king to your group, then why were you obligated to carry it all the way to the cave? Sounds unreasonable and if anything, absolutely ridiculous. It would only slow your group down, and for what?!
Sounds like a trap to be…. Honest. Wait a minute-
"- Shit!" You whisper to yourself at the sudden realization that you're fucked, which unfortunately, caused a soldier that was near you to hear it.
"- Nothing sir, I just stabbed my foot in a rock." You weren't lying though. This whole walk bullshit your doing has destroyed your low quality sandals, and now you could basically feel the ground stabbing you every time you stept.
The soldier just grunted at you, and as much as you wished to take his sword and shove it up his bum, you couldn't help but go back to your original train of thought before you got interrupted.
You were going straight to death right? You're not supposed to fight a dragon, but rather serve as an offering?? What?!
You can't even speak or alert your fellow companions in any way. The last three people that have spoken without being directed to, were shot in the head.
The realization has sadly come in too late for you to make any plans now, as you forward as your group walk upwards, following the mountain's trail, you find yourself facing not only the entrance to a presumably dangerous cave infested with predators, but also the gates to your inevitable death.
You would now have to think of how to escape the soldiers and their arrows, or how to possibly make your death less painful. Being eaten by a dragon doesn't sound really fun.
When entering the cave you're met with more-
"- Are you fucking kidding me?!" Someone screamed, while easily accepting their death.
You couldn't help but agree with the person. While entering the cave, you're met with a great ravine, going in a spiral fashion deeper into the cave.
In other words, you have not only walked all the way up to a fucking mountain, but you would now need to get down into a creepy cave.
You almost considered asking for some eternal peace before remembering that your father's life was still in line. You just… Don't want to go away like this, you don't want your father to go like this.
And once again your group, that was now a lot shorter due to the amount of deaths along the way, was now following the general once again. Only this time, the soldiers were behind all of you, probably to guarantee no one ran away. Too late for that now anyway, so why even bother?
You didn't realize how you were on the very front of everyone, side by side with the man that was leading you to your doom.
You felt his eyes fall into your form a couple of times, but he never really turned his face to look at you. After a long silence of just a bunch of miserable people stepping closer to a terrible plan that was not well thought-out, he said:
"- You know it already. Right?" His voice was rough and still held the nonchalant tone that was written all over his face. You doubt this man could have ever smiled once in his life.
You almost choked with your own breathing, the nerve of this man! You couldn't help but let out the only thing you have wanted to say this whole time:
"- I hate you." You say as your eyes start to become a little watery. The feeling of desperation was eating you up ever since you entered the carriage, but only now you felt how bad the teeth of despair hurt.
"- I know kid. Me too." He responded, his tone never changed, even while saying that.
You guess he didn't really appreciate his job as much as you thought he did. Yet, you couldn't find in your heart to pity the man, as he was complicit in all of this mess. But I guess, you do hope for this man to find some sort of redemption, either presently or in his after life.
You still think he did a lot of bad things of course, his crimes are probably never gonna be forgiven. But just because of that, it didn't mean he couldn't start to do some good actions now, not for the sake of finding inner forgiveness, but for the sake of others. For the sake of the innocent people being not only met with unfair treatment, but also being ruled by a psychotic tyrant who is a complete imbecile. No wonder the queen and his son were missing for so long, you would probably have run away if you were them too.
When finally coming down, with your feet now hurting like a bitch, you can find some time for yourself to appreciate the beauty of this place.
You know, before you lose your head? To a freaking dragon??
Honestly, you at least hope that the stories you read were true, because holy fuck- Imagine how exhausted your body is from walking for what it feels like an eternity, holding jewelry made with gold, only to find an empty cave?
Then you would be able to go feral kill one or two soldiers before getting your ass beaten. As you don't have enough reason to just do that right now, right?
You expected to be met with disappointment, but what you truly saw while finally getting into the dragon's territory, you were able to not only feel enchanted by the magnitude of these treasure places, but also forget the danger of the situation, as you look around and remember the tales you read.
This is so much better than what you have imagined it to be like. It's… Mesmerising! It 's beautiful! The underground pond, the glowing crystals, the pile of gold, the stolen statues of the great warriors of your kingdom, golden weapons all scattered across the floor, the white feathered looking dragon staring down at you from his nest, that little tea set that is really cute and fragile yet it probably cost way more than your house, your clothes, and all of your furniture all together.
Oh no wait-
"- We came with what you asked for, Artemio." Said the general fast walking his way to be in between you and the beast.
To say you were freaking out would be an understatement. You knew dragons were huge, but you didn't expect it to be so… Huge! You know??
Oh my God, you're dead-
You looked around to see only you, your group of commoners ready to be probably eaten, and the general. And while looking for the soldiers, you noticed them trying to close the opening with a man built gate, created to keep the beast.
But obviously, that gate looks absolutely ridiculous, there is no way this guy couldn't destroy it by simply slapping it. It's quite laughable, yet…
You feel this is not just a coincidence or a bad made joke. You have a feeling they know the gate is essentially useless. It was really old, so, clearly this has been going on from quite some time.
Has… Has your kingdom been doing this for centuries?? Bringing offerings to please the dragon and beg it to sleep for more centuries to come?
"- This is absolute bullshit!" You screamed, not noticing how your heart was racing and your breathing had started to become frantic. You were panicking while coming to terms with the fact that your whole world was collapsing in front of your eyes. Your scream clearly surprised your fellow companions, yet it didn't surprise the dragon or the general.
The dragon had, well, a dragon face, so you have no idea what it was thinking, and the general was still with the same non-expressive face since the beginning of this stupid trip!
"- What?! You have nothing to say?? You brought us here to die, at least say something, you coward!" You were fuming with rage. How can a person like this be so annoying even when he is not saying anything.
He looks at you with an understanding expression, yet you don't think about what it could mean as you reach to one of the many golden weapons spread around across the floor. They were heavy and quite frankly completely useless, yet you still hold into that golden sword like your life depended on it.
And it did, actually.
Have you gone insane or just completely blind with rage and the instinct of survival? You're not sure just yet, but you'll lose your last bit of sanity to stand your ground.
You aren't going down without a fight.
"- Come at me, you big bird!" You yelled, looking kinda epic and kinda goofy at the same time. You probably shouldn't insult a dragon who hasn't decided who he'll first, it may change his appetite.
Before the general could interfere with your foolish behavior, the one and only had spoken:
"- Where exactly is what we had agreed on?" Like in true entitled brat fashion, Artemio asked the general while putting his head in his pawn.
"- We had to eliminate a couple of the troublemakers. In the end some of the gold was left behind in the progress-"
"- No, I mean, where truly is what I asked for? The jewelry is quite frankly ugly, the gold coins don't matter as I already have plenty, and none of these humans look really edible. Or well… Appetising." You could swear a pouty face was appearing in Artemio's face, yet only one thing had taken your attention. That's the reason why they needed so many disposable people? Oh… Wait a minute, did the dragon just call everyone here too ugly to eat?
"- If you can't compromise with your promises, then I think we'll have to change the deal-" Artemio started getting up from his nest, stretching out like a cat.
"- Oh, please no, can't you just-" The general panicked, thinking that the dragon would destroy the village.
"- I want that one." Artemio said. Pointing at you.
"- What?" You looked behind you just in case you were in the way of someone else. No, you weren't.
"- Uhn… What?" Oh look, even the general was confused as you, and well, the entire cast of people that were thrown in this hell hole.
"- Yes, that one holding the spear."
"- Just… That one, or-"
"- Just that one. And I won't get out of the cave for at least a century, I promise!" He sounds and acts like both a child and a cat, preparing himself to pounce on its prey any moment now.
"- ….. Okay then, fair enough. It's your problem now kid." He said, making a motion for all the other captives to follow him. Which they gladly did, because, you know, they aren't the protagonist of the story.
"- What?! You can't leave me here, you bastard!!" You screamed, although subconsciously you already knew his answer.
"- I think I'm just doing that!" He screamed from the other side of the cave, fuckz they really didn't waste no time at all, did they?
Sigh, who are you kidding? If you were one of them, you would have ran away as fast as you could. At least some gave you sympathetic looks before going back to their "freedom".
You heard the heavy gate closing. Well, shit. It's you and him now.
You tried going back into your original threatening stance, but before you could, you saw a glimpse of Artemio coming in at full speed, taking no time to jump at you. This is it [Y/N], send your last prayers to your father and your old life before-
Before he starts licking you... like a dog? What?
He pauses and you tense up, looking up and seeing a dragon powerful enough to destroy villages, looking at you like a precious little gift.
Artemio picks you up and hugs you in an almost bone breaking hug. Confused and frustrated with how the situation was going, you asked:
"- A-Aren't you going to kill me?" Yes, it was a pathetic question, if a dragon isn't killing you, then why ask it to do it??
"- I have been so lonely since the last human that I chose! I usually prefer to have many friends around but all of the other options seemed so boring, you know?" His voice is oddly cheerful and sweet to someone that sees humans as pets, or "friends". So… What is really going on here?
"- I thought you ate people." You said, still frustrated that you were betrayed and lied to through this entire day.
"- Well, I guess I can eat humans-" Says the giant bird-lizard acting like a child trying to lie about doing something wrong- "- But I really don't like doing it, I promise!"
"- I just wanted someone to play with, you know? All the dragons that I know are just so boring and take everything seriously." He huffed in annoyance.
"- Well… Do you-" You started questioning if you really want to to know the answer, but curiosity sure is killing this cat!- "- What happened to the other humans that were here?"
"- Oh, they… Uhn, they died, because of your shirt lifespan and all ya know." He responded.
"- Oh… Then why did the soldiers bring us here saying you were going to eat us?" Why not go full balls in and ask everything, right?
"- It's- Sigh, it's really embarrassing, but I didn't know any other way of how to ask for company down here." He said shyly, which only confirmed your suspicion of this being complete bullshit.
"- And you threaten to burn a whole kingdom just because of that?" You asked.
"- Yes!" He answered with no shame whatsoever. This guy was a dog wearing a dragon costume, you couldn't believe what you were hearing.
"- Sigh, oh my God…"
"- Hey, uhn, what's your name?" Artemio spoke, he thought that he should also ask questions as he wants to be able to enjoy every second with his new pet.
"- It is [Y/N]. And you're Artemio, right?" You can't believe any of this, really. You went from an absolutely terrible life or death situation, to a… Well, you can't even tell what the hell is going on anymore!
"- [Y/N].... [Y/N]! [Y/N], that's such a good name!" The excited dragon repeated your name multiple times before interrupting your peace once again. You can't be mad at him, but-
Come on, you needed some time to accept everything that just went down. You didn't even notice you were on the floor until Artemio was in front of your view again.
"- [Y/N]!" He was so easy to please, that just saying your name was fun to him.
"- Sigh… Hey Artemio." You sighed as there was no way in hell this dragon would leave you to deal with this weird feeling of emptiness arising in your chest.
"- What do you want to do now?" He asked cheerfully, but not completely oblivious to your feelings of being abandoned underground with him by force.
You stayed silent for a second, again, trying to come with terms with this new lifestyle that you were subjected to. You technically could ask Artemio to open the gate, he doesn't seem to have any intention of hurting you. But who knows? He has a different point of view in this whole thing than you do.
Silence was taking over the cave, but not exactly an awkward silence, just… A comforting one.
The water dripped from the ceiling. You felt the ground underneath you shake a little as Artemio followed your "guidance". He decided to lay on his back near you.
He wasn't really doing any self reflection at all, he just wanted to join in with you, yet all he could think is how happy he is to have someone else to spend time with.
You may only see him slightly from the corner of your eyes, yet you still feel a little, strange, by seeing a dragon mimic your ways.
You don't feel nessecerally homesick, but you do miss your father. You absolutely hate the idea of coming back to the kingdom, but… If you could see your father one last time, and probably help him with the gold that is in this place….
Maybe you could even-!.....
"- Artemio."
"- Yes, [Y/N]!*
"- AAH!" He turned himself to meet your face so fast that you whimpered because of his sudden motion.
He was going to check if you were okay, but you stopped him showing that you were fine, just a little spooked.
"- Hey, Artemio-" You said again, as you were still reformulating your question in your head-
"- Do you know how to burn an entire castle?"

Fruits Basket, SE03, Ep3
This ep is exactly like se02, ep 24, meaning it was divided clearly into two parts. While the graduation theme unties the two parts, you can point things out exactly like ep,24:
1st part : Machi’s story= the important part.
2nd part: scattered parts here & there that concern yuki, ep, 24 his interactions with akito, here his interactions with Motoko).
plus, an ep cliff hanger: (e, 24 the dvd given to kureno, here, Isuzu’s mysterious fate).
it is exactly the same even a small kyo/tohru moment!. School graduation instead of the zodiac’s new year gathering.
Really awkward pacing, but that’s furuba, we celebrate when they DO connect dots for once! lets talk abt the REAL ep: MACHI.
-Machi’s awkward presence:
Although I love Machi, I’ve voiced my concerns abt her character in Furuba:
It seemed that Machi was solely created to be a step in yuki’s success journey more than a character on her own right. After getting motherly love (tohru) leaving the nest, Yuki needed friendship (kakeru), then as an independent man, he needs romantic love: (Machi). This is all fine initially but I was yearning for more individuality for Machi as a character. All furuba characters were given space to be unique including minor characters like Motoko who narrated her own story each time she’s on screen & we lived it with her within two seasons & a number of eps.
However, Machi’s background was introduced thro her brother’s exposition in se02 & that moment was a yuki/ kakeru bonding moment.
Thro kakeru’s exposition we learned how similar yuki & machi are (the parental neglect, high expectations, cold sibling relationship, Big brother saves himself by himself, big brother pushing for redemption & the younger sibling’s still trapped silently ). While that makes for romantic appeal between the two which makes the writer’s job easier, it steals from Machi individuality.
Then her part in ep, 24 was shown & I was given hope for Machi’s individuality as her own inner voice spoke volumes abt her as a person away from yuki (romantic interest) or Kakeru (big brother). Having a lot of screen time, while can make a character more believable to the audience, is never a factor in character’s depth nor individual worth. Heck! kyo (part of the main trio & the main character’s love interest) has only ONE ep in se02 to explore his issues & by far it is my fave ep in se02 as it established kyo’s trauma, psyche, mental issues & emotional baggage better than I could ever imagine! You can DO WONDERS with little time if you knew what to do. That’s what happened with Machi this ep (half ep).
-Machi’s shines! (trauma & romance):
I was so relieved to learn that altho both Machi & yuki despised perfection as it suffocated them, the writer (thankfully) went abt a different approach with Machi. Unlike Yuki who went silent cuz he felt his voice didn’t matter as he was used as a tool, Machi went silent cuz she was was NOT needed, & not only discarded but painted as WRONG. If you admit that raising me this way is wrong, then what does this make me? What should I do with myself? I’m wrong! boring, a failure, & a presumed killer!! all while I was absolutely doing my best! all while I was having good intentions! It is devastating but It makes Machi real. A character on her own right with her own trauma, struggle, pain & outlook on life. Although, the writer made the whole yuki/Machi meeting orchestrated by Kakeru to quickly make the two siblings one step closer, it worked cuz kakeru chose to not interfere after setting the scene. He played a subtle mach maker & tried to find happiness for his sister silently. Kakeruy is yuki’s best buddy & Machi becoming the girlfriend, the trio will have to hang out more which will slowly but surely warm Machi towards Kakeru. While the flat visit is the part where Machi open the lid to Yuki with a spark of romance at the end, the chalk scene is the romantic part! Not only did Yuki noticed her panic & saved her by breaking a piece of chalk, she secretly remembered his promise! “ lets make footprints on the snow”. The snow that was another source of anxiety attack, is now sth she looks forward to & prays for! Truly romantic!!! Well-done writer.
Side Notes:
I know furuba is shoujo & it’s abt love, but C’mon! where did Nao/ Motoko come from??!! XDD Who is left without love interest? Kyo’s rejected fangirl loved by one of kyo’s buddies? The maids in love with Akito? Momiji? Who does Kimi love besides money? XD
Yuki once observed that kyo makes tohru happy with small things, Today he did the same! A broken piece of chalk.
Yuki/ Machi romantic scenes contrast Yuki/ tohru forced romantic scene at the earlier seasons. There is no lame cringy lines like “ I’ll kidnap you & go to a vacation” or kissing a ribbon. There is NO acting or pretentious lines. Here a piece of chalk did the trick, an understanding of her tears & a head pat, a promise to walk on snow together! Congratulations Yuki, You made it into romantic boyfriends category! XD. also, good writing!
The Bra scene is the real comedy in the ep.
Arisa’s “ kyon, we won’t forgive you if you hurt tohru” is gold cuz kyo WILL. When it’s time to confess he knew kyoko & she HATES him & doesn’t forgive him, tohru would be hurt! Even if she wasn’t in love with kyo!!! Knowing your beloved’s last words were hateful is painful!! Add to this that tohru loves kyo & would be struggling between forgiving him or not!! Add to this that kyo might NOT want to be forgiven!!
“ I won’t forgive you”. kyo’s haunting reminder that he’s unforgivable is now shared by kyoko, yuki, Hana & Arisa!!
look, you might argue that furuba’s romantic writing might be a bit awkward with all sorts of romantic couples, age gaps, the need for everybody to be in love one way or the other & so on, but the traumatic behavioral writing is the best!!!!! I was never disappointed with how Takaya write abused traumatized children’s behavior. One of my fave scenes is yuki/ kyo in the stairs in se02 where kyo lashed out on yuki & yuki was over it. While that scene was rightfully celebrated for yuki’s triumphant attitude as he got over his trauma, I love it for the realistic trauma filled attitude of kyo, all charged with kyoko’s flashback! He’s in deep & he’s all by himself! Kyo will hurt tohru cuz he loves her just like how kazuma hurt him by forcefully taking his bracelet cuz he loves him. Kyo will be thinking it is for the best, who would want to be with someone that kyoko of all ppl hates!
I’ll tolerate all the weird love couples in furuba, but the moment trauma is written weakly I’ll drop the show. There is NO way, kyo will confess kyoko’s lines then go “sorry abt that tohru, we’re good?”
Back to Machi, I really hope that her trauma isn’t merely wrapped up cuz yuki loved her. Furuba was never abt love heals, it is abt love helps. We might not see more of her trauma for reasons of space, or not related to the current plot lines, but I really hope we hear her talk abt herself with yuki even few lines. Although, I feel that the focus now will be on setting her for yuki’s next stage in character development: honesty in the love confession. He’ll tell her abt the curse as the trailer hinted at. That’s their first love life struggle. But if I were to take a guess, it will be dealt with quickly like her trauma. She loves yuki dearly & as long as he walks with her in snow (human or rat, lol), it’s all good. <3
Hior’s mom is love.
Kagura’s new style is love! she isn’t dressed overly cutely anymore, but had a more comfortably style & I love her hair! also her friendship with Isuzu! <3. I wish Isuzu would really know there are ppl worried abt her in her life. Haru isn’t the only one.
Akito put Isuzu in the cat room, didn’t she? The place she left is similar to the place young Kazum wandered to in se01, ep25. & those scissors....
I never thought that the mere sight of shigure’s face will disgust me. XD. I still find him so intriguing, but yeah need time to get over the fact that he slept with Ren & counted it even with Akito, then slept with Akito afterwards! EWWW! so disgusting & I’m here to see this drama escalate!
Yuki / Machi moment was interrupted! XD It’s not fun when it happened to you, yuki? XD.

At the risk of sounding like a Jindosh apologist here (I am.) I will preface that Jindosh is a bad guy, he has either killed people personally or got them killed for experiment purposes by his Clockworks and has dissected the dead so he is not good, he is a villain, I acknowledge that.
Now with that out of the way I wanna criticize the narrative surrounding him and his mansion and how it sometimes falls flat on it’s face trying to demonize them thanks to a lot of points my friend @divaythfyr brought up. I’ll put all of that below the cut:
Yesterday I was told this line and I won’t lie it is...bad. Line in question:
Billie: "His home is supposed to be full of marvels. Locals go in as a test of courage, or because they're desperate for a meal. Kids, even. People say you can hear them at night, pounding on the windows, calling for help."
But because I couldn’t live with the idea that he kills children you know the simplest villain demonization tactic in writing history (kick the puppy, kick the child whatever) and I think it’s pretty cheap to try and make him worse than Sokolov, I talked to the Jindosh apologist committee and thot about it so I’ll go over this line by line.
1. "His home is supposed to be full of marvels.“ - Okay but isn’t his home also supposed to be scary? Isn’t the whole “Why would anyone build a scary mansion like this?” line from Emily/Corvo as they enter supposed to tell us that this is a scary place? Which is funny because in reality the mansion itself isn’t scary at all, in fact it’s extremely logical in the way it unfolds and exposes the rooms. It’s perfectly functional and as someone with a major in architecture, I can say it’s the best designed house in terms of organization in the game. There is no way to die in the mansion unless the Clockwork Soldiers and the guards get you - which goes for literally any important/rich person’s house? You walk in someone’s house uninvited and their guards get you. You can die if you get behind the walls but it’s extremely difficult to do so especially in the places where you can get squished. The house itself is completely harmless. So the whole idea from Jindosh’s end that it’s a maze is stupid on it’s own too, the house is perfectly logical and Stilton’s manor is an actual maze because I got lost 10 times in there.
2. “Locals go in as a test of courage, or because they're desperate for a meal.“ - okay first part is correct people go in his house to either steal, test their skills or kill him. He says as much himself. He says fabled thieves and assassins died there. Again probably from his guards and Clockworks since you can’t die from the house in any rational way. And then he dragged them half dead or dead in his lab to dissect them. He has a fascination with watching people die because he is like evil and a villain like that. Which brings me to the next point which is:
There are only two ways to get in his mansion without powers. There is the bridge below which is broken and the railway which is guarded and has a Wall of Light on the other end. So how will anyone that is not prepared with a grappling hook or some kind of way to close this gap gonna get in? How is your random average person gonna go in? And most importantly why? Do people just walk in aristocrat’s houses and expect not to get out in a body bag or?
Besides he has a) a lot of free food and drinks in the lobby which is his threshold as to how far you are allowed to go so if someone wanted food they can just walk in and take it and leave (after you know, scaling a mountain for whatever reason because there aren’t easier houses to steal from) and b) he has an audiograph, because I am sure he assumes people can’t read, which tells you “Do not enter or you will die and I will dissect your remains and this is a promise.” Like why add a warning if you wanna lure people in? Unless those people think they can outsmart him so they come with intent and not just because they need food/shelter. Also he has food right next to that audio.
3. “Kids, even.“ - okay this one, the scary line. I won’t lie this made me uncomfortable. So like if we assume that normal people can enter by normal means (which in point 2 is clear they can’t unless further elaborated by the game on How? and Why?), a child going in as a dare and dying is possible. Billie after this line goes on to say that she saw a child dare his brother to touch the wall of light which vaporized the child, so the implication is possible. It’s possible a child went in his mansion as a dare and bad things unfolded. It’s also equally possible that it didn’t. We know of adult men dying because we see the bodies. For this one is just a rumor. You can take it either way depending on how you feel about Jindosh. It’s very unlikely a child would get this far though, unless this was some kind of Disney movie. Also Jindosh wouldn’t personally have a reason to kill a child you know, like I know it’s the easiest “this villain is super evil!!!!” writing tactic, but he had a pretty shitty childhood, he felt hated by his mother and probably wasn’t treated so nicely by his (bastard) brother. He likes to exercise his lack of control during his younger years by having control over other people through his house and toying with them. He is very childish in a sense too (with his toy house and toy soldiers), and because of all of this I truly don’t think he would kill a child. He wants a real challenge and to test out his machines and his house against the best and smartest Karnaca can offer, not children. Though my opinion here can be highly biased.
Also many children can casually pull 6ft tall levers I’m sure--
4. “People say you can hear them at night, pounding on the windows, calling for help." - we know people have died in the mansion and they have been crying for release, as he says so himself. But again the above points kind of challenge as to who these people that died inside were. However because you know I’ve been playing with his mansion for four years cause I am a dumb hoe, I can say that there are very little windows. In fact the majority of windows that aren’t blocked off by the cliff or the mechanisms are around his laboratory.
Now yes people could go there and bang on them sure. But they literally...face the lab and chances are no one is gonna hear you bang on that side. The other windows not facing the lab are in the foyer where...you are allowed to be and nothing is gonna happen to you.
And the windows that actually face a side where let’s say someone could hear if someone was banging are the windows on the front of the house. Only the thing is, there are no windows on the front of the house except in the foyer.
Here are the buildings from across his mansion which I guess can maybe hear if someone was banging on the windows. But again no windows on the front of the house.
The fake windows is where the mechanism for the ceiling over the gallery in the upper hall is. The one that kinda extends and unfolds from there. So isn’t entirely possible that the banging and screaming or whatever people heard is just...the mechanisms of his house? The scary evil child killing house? Which is actually moving and making a lot of noise at all times?
So in conclusion? Yes, Jindosh is bad, he has no regard to human life, he divides society as innocent bystanders and criminals. He does dream of an army of Clockwork Soldiers to eradicate all crime. Be, he isn’t a senseless killer, it’s his neutrality and fascination with death as well as his black and white thinking that makes him dangerous. He doesn’t see people as human. In the majority of cases we know of (except one for some reason? That cursed baker who got his brain fried why did you have to do that Jindosh!?) he experiments on people who he deems criminals without sympathy. Also in situations where he thinks it’s justified - breaking in to steal from him or hurt him, the Blade Verbena, prisoners that can actually provide a learning experience for his Clockworks and Sokolov. He doesn’t go kidnapping people off the streets to experiment on them.
And despite his evilness being completely logical, the whole game tries to paint his mansion as this big puzzle and trap when in reality it’s...really just a house. The level design is beautiful and amazing but I think it doesn’t really carry the point as strongly simply because it’s not any more dangerous than any other mission and it’s just more fun when it comes to gameplay. The design is great but it never gave me the feeling of it being a horror house. So I think that demonizing Jindosh through hearsay instead of through his actual mission is a bit of a weird choice. A lot of things don’t reflect how evil he is, but not in the good way of “The Grand Inventor doesn’t seem evil but he is.” and instead you get it hammered how evil he is from the start without actually ever experiencing a climax of his evilness you wouldn’t expect. It’s not that every story should have a twist, but usually when you say someone is evil, you either make them good at the end or even more evil. Jindosh never has that climax, he is the same start to finish and that is... mildly annoying and slightly threatening. Like his level is pretty but not scary and they keep trying to convince you it’s scary which makes it weird which I guess is because if you listen to a lot of his unused lines and old concept art, he was supposed to be this stereotypical mad scientist but in the end they changed his visual design and lines so much he comes off as lukewarm. I understand what they tried to do with Jindosh but I feel like they failed to do it and had to rely on everyone saying he is super irredeemably evil to justify lobotomizing him.
Anyway this post is too long, sorry if the read more doesn’t go through somewhere and please feel free to counter my points I am open to different and non biased views (or even information I might not know because I haven’t read the books or found everything).
#kirin jindosh#me putting this with full confidence in the tag#i hope i dont wake up to anything bad
